Rob

Picking up the red rose and smelling the fragrance of the rose which was lying in the table. Thinking to himself about the particular day what has gone wrong. Then a small painful smile appears in his face and said “Elina, you must be happy to see me missing you and hurting myself”. Then he calls his secretary and asks to send the red rose to Elina’s address.

His secretary, Sam, look at rob who was still dwelling in the past. His smile which once can brighten the room is now so torturous to look at and asked “do you really want to send this rose to her?”

Rob, who was looking at the skyline through his office window, turns around to face Sam and said, “why can’t I?Elina may have moved on but I want her to remember this day till the end. I want to remind her what we had and feel the pain.”

Sam shrugged and very calmly with a hint of worry and concern said, ”I don’t know about her but I’m very concerned about you. Don’t hurt yourself over her. She may have broken your heart but you deserve better than her.”

Rob made a poker face which can give chills to anyone and just asked Sam to send the delicate red rose.

Sam sighing and without asking any further questions take the red rose and leave the office to send the rose to Elina.

Rob all by himself, looking at the sunset in the city skyline through the window, remembering the smiling face of Elina and lighting a cigarette.

[3 years ago, the same day, it was raining heavily. Rob was so happy as it was their 4 years anniversary and can’t wait to see Elina. He has planned a romantic date to propose the love of his life to marry him. But the heavy rain can’t seem to stop. So, he searched for a flower shop where a old lady was selling flowers. He looks handsome, tall with nice masculine body; Hair neatly combed wearing nice suit. The old lady look at him and asked, “do you want flowers for someone?”. Rob smile gently and said,”Yes, for the love of my life.” The old lady said, “ohh, okay I just have the perfect flower for you.”  He smiled and waits for the lady to come with flowers. The old lady came with a big bouquet of red roses. It has a nice smell `too. The old lady handed the roses and if its love noting is better than red rose to purpose her. He shrugged and smiled shyly. Paid for the red rose and head towards the car and drive in the direction of Elina. He parked his car at the side of the road head to Elina's house. But he sees elina hugging other man in front her house. Rob can't seem to stand the sight of Elina hugging other man. he shouted, "Elina".

Looking at Elina face all pale and trembling, he throws the red rose on the ground and leave saying "thank you for this amazing gift. I don't want to see you again." ]

Elina

On the way to home, Elina is thinking to herself “today was a long day, I have to do Ashley's work too. She never leave a chance to torment me.” Signing and walking through the frond yard towards the door.

[Seven years ago, Elina was a foreign student who got scholarship to study in A university and she really worked hard and come to the country and has been staying with the host family. As the family had no children so they treated Elina as their own child and Elina was so grateful to them. As much as she was grateful to them, she also loved them. So four years later, when she finished her university, she asked permission from her family to stay in A country for work experience and her parents accepted as long as she pays occasional visit. She also wanted to stay in the A country to explain herself to Rob who had broken up with her.]

When elina was about to open door, she saw a red rose which was laying on the door mattress . She felt pain in her heart and picked the red rose and open the door to go to her room. As the host family always seems to have work and occasion to attend, they were never at home during work days so she was accustomed to being alone.

Elina went straight to her bedroom and looked at the date in her phone. She sighed, “If you don’t want to listen to my explanation why do you still remember this date.”

Elina walked toward the drawer and searched for her diary. In this diary, she had written all about her love towards Rob and after breaking up with Rob , she didn't add a single word in the diary. Its been 3 years and each year when she receives a red rose she put the red rose in the diary. When Elina put the red rose in the diary, she cried for a long time.

[Three years ago, She was heartbroken when Rob left her and she wanted to explain but he give her cold shoulder. For a year, she chased after him and tried to explain him and asked him to trust her but Rob indifference made her give up. So she stayed in the A country for Rob waiting to give her a chance but later she finds out about Rob going on dates with different girls. So she started to focus on her career as an architect and worked hard.]

Elina's phone vibrated which made her to come to her senses and looking at the phone, she tried to calm down and replied, “hey, Jane.”

Jane was her best friend since she was 5 years old. They had been together until she left to study in A country but they called each other once in a while and talked about everything and comforted each other. Jane said, “hey, how are you doing? You really don't seem to want to talk to me nowadays. “

Elina sighed and in a calm voice responded, “ Sorry J. I really want to talk to you but work is loaded and I have to finish them in time.” But her voice chocked due to her previous cries.

Jane ,who knew everything about Elina, was concerned and asked , “ are you okay? “
