^ Sid Pov ^

Today was best day of my life. I got graduated today from my college and also got my driving licence issued. So here I was, enjoying my peaceful and joyful night, driving with my bestie Stacey in her car.

Well so background first, I am Sid, enjoying a carefree life till I can as I know once working life starts it will break all my joy which I was enjoying in my student's life phase. I am currently living in my female bestie stacey's house.

Stacey is my mother's niece and my sister figure who is 2 year older than me. She is an independent woman and currently own and works in her own beauty saloon. We both were pretty close since childhood.

Now back to story, here I was riding back to home after a relaxing drive when I suddenly bumped into a ghostly woman who was running madly on empty road .

" Did you killed a ghost ", asked stacey who was also stunned seeing a disheveled women suddenly appearing in front of our car.

" Did we really killed someone ", I asked dumbfoundly to Stacey and found out she was scared stiff and was currently praying all gods that she knew so that we would be safe and that ghost women wouldn't kill us.

I sighed and rushed out of the car ignoring Stacey and saw a women lying in pool of blood and was bleeding a lot from a cut in her hand. She was carrying a very faint breath and I knew that if she were delayed the treatment, then she would definitely die and I would be the one who would have killed her and would destroy both of our life.

So I stuffed her in the backseat of my car alongside with Stacey and we rushed to nearest hospital. Stacey immediately fainted seeing her bloody appearance and now I was carrying two fainted ladies in my car and now the last person whom I wanted to see would be a police officer or else I would be in the locker for months for suspicion of kidnapping and human trafficking.

Finally after riding for almost 20 min, we reached hospital and that ghost lady was admitted in it. I finally paid fees for her inspection and went to buy some snacks and drinks for Stacey or else I would be homeless after she wakes up and see the back seat of her car being covered in blood. I sprinkled some water on her face and finally she came back to consciousness.

" Where are we? Did she killed us? Are we in heaven?", asked Stacey to me continuosly in her daze without taking a breadth.

" We are in our car outside the city hospital, and we are alive, so take a few breadth and calm your nerves down ", I replied. while sighing.

" Ok so what are we doing here, and WHAT THE HELL WHY IS THERE SO MUCH BLOOD HERE " screamed Stacey and I immediately blocked her mouth with my hand so that I don't get deaf by hearing her screaming.

" Do you remember we bumped into a lady while returning to home, that's her blood on seat. She would have died if I wouldn't have helped her, so I brought her to a hospital. " I informed her and removed my hand so that she could process what I was saying.

" Mr. Sid, at least you could have applied a polythene wrap on back seat and then you could have helped her. ", She said taunting me and I knew I was in problem by listening to her formal address for me.

" Sissy, do you think I could have thought for such things seeing our conditions, and not to forget you fainted immediately seeing her. " I replied to her and she finally snatched the snacks and drinks indicating me that she pardoned me for my deeds.

^ SID POV ^

After coaxing Stacey with food and promising her to wash the seat next day, I was finally able to calm her anger down. We immediately left the hospital and contacted police after the ghost lady was pushed into operation theatre for her treatment.

Next day, we got a call from police for helping them in there investigation, so we rushed back to the hospital. After meeting with the police we were told that the lady have regained her consciousness so we entered into her ward after knocking.

Doctor told us that after regaining her she didn't spoke even a single word and was currently hiding under her blanket.

" Hello miss how are you ", I asked the lump inside the blanket.

She poked her head out and I was stunned seeing her now cleaned face. We both were staring each other for minutes till Stacey coughed and I came out of my diziness and regained myself.

" Do you guys know me ", she asked while peeking at us.

" No ", I answered truthfully after being confused by the question.

" I think she is suffering from amnesia ", said a doctor who was currently checking her reports and I concluded that he must be an intern.

" Yes patient is suffering from an acute amnesia, so she can not recover back her memory for now, and as for her body, their are just some scratches that can be vanished after applying lotion and a week's rest ", informed the main doctor to us.

" How much time will it take for her, to regain back her memories ", I asked to him.

" I don't know maybe days, months or years we can't say a specific time period ", he replied.

A week passed out from the day we had the accident and I couldn't focus on anything I was doing, so I started to visit her everyday. She didn't spoke a single word to anyone else sparing the last sentence she spoke to me on first day.

I was cleaning my home when suddenly my cell phone rang and I was immediately called to hospital. Stacey was out of city with her car due to her work so I have to rush to the hospital in a taxi.

" A week's time is over and now is the time for her discharge so please take your family member with you " receptionist told me and I was confused as hell.

" I am sorry miss, but I think there is some confusion here. I am not her family member so I can't take her with me, I found her lying on the road", I informed truthfully to the receptionist.

" Oh then also she have to be discharged as she have recovered and our hospital is not some free motel where she can stay forever ", she snapped at me and I started to get angry on her tone but I regained my composure immediately.

"I am sorry miss but what if her family comes here and can't find her anywhere here, so please let her stay for some more time" I requested to receptionist.

" Sir I told you there is no way she can now stay in hospital after recovering. If you can't take her in then we have no other to let her roam on streets." she told me and I was very angry on her, but I can't growl on her as she was partially correct that patient have recovered, so she needs to vacate her bed so I left the reception and completed the discharge process and made up my mind to let the injured lady stay with us for some more time, at least till her family comes to find her.

" So miss, if any of her family member comes to find her, please give them my contact no. so they can contact me ", I told receptionist and immediately left so that I don't let my emotions overfly and I start an unnecessary argument with her.

^ SID POV ^

I entered her ward and saw her lying on her bed. I don't know why but every time I entered her ward and saw her eyes, my heart beat soars to the sky.

" Hello miss do you remember me ", I asked her giving her a cheeky smile.

Instead of replying she just nodded a little and was scrutinizing me from head to toe and I realized that she must be feeling disgusted by seeing a stranger's awkward smile so I regained my stif posture.

" So miss, today you will be discharged from hospital so where will you go now ", I asked her ignoring her scrutinizing eyes and hiding my embarrassment.

" Don't know, No home ", she replied and I was expecting such an answer from her.

" So miss if you don't mind can I take you to my home ", I asked to her cautiously. She got silent for a few minutes and then nodded.

" Ok then miss, as you don't have any name would you mind if I call you Nidhi? " I asked her.

" Why Nidhi ", she asked to me.

" No particular reason, just a random name ", I replied.

"No problem" she replied and I was happy for her as she has started to at least socialize with me a little, so we don't have to act like a stranger after some time.

" So Nidhi I am Sid, nice to meet you. ", I said to her again by giving her my cheeky smile which immediately disappeared as soon as it appeared to not bring any awkward moment, at least for now. She nodded again and we left for finalizing of her discharge papers from the hospital and shifting her to our house.

^ NIDHI POV ^

I don't know who I am, and I don't know who to trust and whom not to. When I opened my eyes first time in hospital, I saw some people with white coats wandering around me. Then two ordinary people appeared at the end of the ward. As I already knew I can't remember anything, so I asked them do they know me but they refused, so now I am just a vulnerable lady, who is bedridden for now and doesn't even remembers her own name.

A week has passed since I regained my consciousness but I refused to talk to anyone. While lying in the bed I saw a man coming and standing everyday outside my ward and trough the window I saw his face.

He is the same person whom I saw on the day I regained my consciousness. I don't know why but I feel danger from him and my mind says not to trust him as he will not be taking care of you without any selfish reason.

I don't know why I can't even talk to anyone, I think in my previous life I would be an introvert or a person whose heart have been stabbed multiple times by closest persons as I can't trust anyone or it is just because of my situation.

Anyway, today he suddenly came to my ward and I saw him giving me a weird smile but whatever it was it calmed my anxious heart and brought a smile in my mind but I stopped it from showing on my face.

He gave me a new name and invited me to his house. Well, I liked the name and for once instead of listening to my brain, I listened to my heart and chose to shift with him as it will be anyway better than roaming on roadside, begging for food. Anyway I can be at least cautious with him
