"what a wonderful day to imagine. imagine a tangerine walking with me"staring at the street I was looking at something I've seen in haikyuu before it was a chair i'm sure I've seen it in one of the episodes. I know some things in haikyuu and other anime is real, but the characters I loved the most is not "hinata shoyo" I wish I could see him, well in my imagination I could but never in real life heh, truth hurts I know. Well today is summer no class at all, and tomorrow im going somewhere, somewhere far, far enough to get in trouble, far enough to be away from people, guess I like it that way I'll be there for some days well my mom asked me what im going to do in that place so I answered it "Imagine" she laughed at me.

"oh, honey why are you so obsessed with a fictional tangerine? Are you okay, Do you need medication?"

"no mom im fine and mom im not crazy so pls quit asking me if I need medication cause I don't." well my mom thinks im crazy because i'm obsessed with fictional characters.

"ok honey"

I'll be going tomorrow and when I get to the station I'll start to imagine he's with me. Your probably asking why? Well I want to stop loving a fictional character and the only way to do that is for me to talk and experience being with him. cause thats how I let things go I talk to them and set them free. I wanted feel his presence, to feel his touch and to know how warm his hug is thats all I ask nothing more.

this is day one I was in the station standing, I closed my eyes as I imagined him walking towards me as he introduced himself to me.

"hello, my name is shoyo hinata"

"hi,my name is y/n l/n" I smiled as I answered.

"can you sit beside me on the train?"-hinata

"sure"that was too sudden, its not part of what I was about to imagine but its ok though I like how this is doing letting my imagination decide. As the train arrives we sat together but before I take my seat a disturbance suddenly came.

"BOKE"

Boke? who might this be? am I guessing it right?

"KAGEYAMA!!"-hinata

"Oi what are you doing here?"-kageyama

"Im going to my grandma's house"-hinata

"ehh?" my imagination works by itself? Ohh my this is gonna be fun.

"Ohh yeah, this is y/n my friend I met her earlier"-hinata

"ohh ok im tobio kageyama"-kageyama

"where does your grandma live?"-kageyama

"she lives in ***street"-hinata

"coincidence the place where I will be staying is also there" I said in a exited tone.

"really, mine too"kageyama said trying to show me a smile.

"eh? are you okay kageyama-san?" I said in a worried tone.

"haha, kageyama trying to smile to a girl? this is quite new"-hinata

"shut up boke!"-kageyama

We three chatted for awhile until we reach our destination. Kageyama asked me where I was staying I was surprised that we'll be staying in the same place too I asked him why he just said "boke" thats not new tho well me kageyama and hinata walked together till we reached hinata's destination I was soo happy that I talked to him without imagining what he will say, after that we bid our goodbye.

"I guess im stuck with you now" I jokingly said.

"what?"

"nothing" I said, we stayed quiet for a while until he broke it.

"Do you like hinata?"

"eh-?" I was shocked by his questions but I remained calm hoping I wouldn't spill the tea.

"Do you like him?"

"nope, com'mon I just met him" I suspiciously answered, darn it I'm not good at this.

"heh, I knew it"

"knew what?" lie lie lie, he might tell him so no.

"com'mon, I won't tell him so don't deny"

"fine fine, I do like him" I know this is a bad idea but its ok its just my imagination kags seems to be nice though.

"what did you like about that boke?"

"can I call you kags?" Well im lazy so forgive me I know you'll say no though.

"n-no, fine"

"thanks" quite not what I expected.

"here we are"

"what room are you?"I asked him with a serious looks

"103, I guess we'll be neighbors"

"wanna hangout for awhile?"

"sure" well he's not a bad person though and his nice unlike what I see in haikyuu.

"lets eat first im hungry"

We went upstairs to prepare and fix our stuff then went down to eat there's nothing yummy to eat in their resto so we decided to find another one. As me and kageyama was walking in the streets we saw a small resto and decided to check it, it was small, tidy, and nice its the perfect place to eat dinner.

"hey y/n"

"yep?"I answered, he looks a bit embarrassed while asking.

"what would you like to eat"

"I'll take this dish please" everything is nice the resto is not fancy at all its just like a cafe but the menu is all yummy but cheap.

"I'm surprised, this resto is nice. I can say its the best"

"me too" I was surprised he would complement the resto. After we ate our food we imidietly left and go back to the hotel. while we ware walking I asked him if he likes hinata too. But again he answered "his a boke, but someone I like is also a boke, its not him tho" I was shocked and just said "eh-?" I don't know what to say so thats what I replied.

...KAGEYAMA'S POV...

"so you do like someone? and who might this lucky girl be?"

"boke"I answered, hoping it'll give her a clue I've been liking her alot but she likes my best friend, its ok though as long as she's happy.

"boke?"

"..." did she get it now?

"don't call me boke"

"BOKE, that's what I call her" I lost earlier so why not try again. y/n id try and try until I die just to get you.

"Ohh well I thought you call everyone boke? don't you?"

"I do with boys but she's the only girl I call boke" I will tell her after 2 days I promise

"ohh thats soo romantic"

"romantic? eh-?" Boke? romantic lol not even close but I agree it's romantic.

"BOKE" another clue hope you'd realize it now.

I tapped her head as a response, guess she's too stupid to understand.We went back to the hotel, when we arrived there are two old people talking in the counter it's seems like there's a problem so we decided too peek, looking at them they seem sad they are couples.

"We are sorry sir there are no vacant room"-lady

"Where are we gonna sleep, there are no other hotel near here"-old man

"are you sure miss?"-old woman

"they have no room seems like I cant do anything in this situation" I whispered to y/n.

"But if we share the room they can stay"-Y/N

"Eh-? are you sure? We just met, yet your like that?"I said as a response, well I know her my whole life tho but she can't remember, its okay if we share but I don't know if she's comfortable.

"yep, I know your a good person, and I trust you. your my friend right?"

"glad to hear that, and yes I'm your friend" 'im just your friend'

we went back to the counter and asked"ma'am why don't I give you my room instead"

"are you sure young man?"-old woman

"yes ma'am"I cheerfully answered

"but what about you?"-old man

"we booked 2 rooms for each so we decided to give the other one for you and I'll stay with him"-y/n

"are you two couples?"- old man

"yep we are"-y/n

"such lovely couples"- old lady

we fixed everything and I went to y/n's room, as I got in everything was fixed the bed was separated well im not surprised.

I went to the corner and placed my things I remembered what she said earlier and decided to ask.

"why did you say we're couples?"I calmly asked her, hoping she wouldn't missunderstand me.

"well old people are strict, if we tell them we are not couples they wouldn't allow us to give them the room. Trust me I learned it from my grandma."

"good point"she's too smart, she thinks so fast, she's nice, she's perfect. She doesn't need a boke like me.

"heh let's sleep, im exited to see shoyo tommorow."

I woke up early in the morning because of excitement, im too exited to see kagayama, it's summer and I haven't seen him for some time so I missed him, well I wanted to confess my feelings to him but I can't I don't know how too.

"hinata come lets eat"my grandma said as she called me.I prepared and went downstairs to eat after I ate, I imidietly ran to the place where me, y/n, and kags will meet."seems like they are not here yet" after five minutes they arrived.

"KAGEYAMA"I shouted at him

"BOKE, your too loud"-kageyama

"gomen bakayama" I answered sarcastically well we love teasing each other so why not teas him.

"SHOYO,"-y/n

"y/n" I looked at her and smiled, we hang out for awhile as the sun sets we decided to go to the beach near y/n and kags hotel. I was surprised when they said they shared their rooms, I was jealous thought but I wasn't anymore when they explained why they did that. y/n is Heather no wonder why kagayama likes her that much.Meanwhile we decided to eat ice cream but y/n told me to stay with kagayama scince the ice cream shop is not that far. as she disappeared I decided to take kagayama somewhere nice and confess.

"why are we here"-kageyama

"I wanted to tell you something"I said in a low voice hoping he won't reject me.

"what is it Boke?"-kageyama

"I- I like you, no I love you I don't know why but I just like you so much not just as a friend but as your lover, I hope you could be my lover too but I know you like y/n scince your still kids."

"stop with these jokes BOKE"-kageyama

"BOKE, heh- do you know that I really like it when you call me that hoping it has a meaning, thought thats impossible cause I'm not that special at all im just your friend, a friend that hopes we could be more than friends" I said all these words trying not to cry but failed I know that I'm gonna fail but I still continued to tell him I just want him to know.

"I understand what you feel, but I can't love you back, your my friend, my best friend and no one could replace you in that position. But I can't promote you to have another high position, I hope you'd understand, you know I like y/n please forgive me"-kageyama

"its okay its not your fault that fell inlove with you, Its mine don't worry i'll try my best to move on and find someone who could catch me when I fall, but can we still be friends?"

I'm showering with tears as I hugged him and said "Don't worry about me go and get y/n be happy with her, you know I worked hard just to set you up in that train station"

I was shocked as Hinata confessed to me I didn't know he likes me, If I only knew I should have never asked him to set me and y/n up. I know that hurts being asked by someone you like to help him be with someone he likes.

"no probs"I said in a low voice

"There you are here's your ice creams, eh-? hinata are you okay?"-y/n

"I'm okay y/n thanks for the ice cream you and kags should talk"

I was shocked when hinata told y/n to talk to me but I decided to confess to her already, but like hinata I know she likes someone else, it hurts.

"y/n I want you to know that I like you"I said in a low and shy voice, hoping she would not reject me.

"I know you're wondering if im joking but im not, im serious, I know you like hinata, and its okay. BOKE Y/N BOKE how could you not know your boke, I like you scince we're kids but you probably don't know I know this will be the second time you'll reject me but its fine"

"kagayama im so sorry if you felt this way because of me, I can't love you back you know I like hinata."-y/n

"your words are exactly the same words I said to hinata it's okay I want you both to be happy, even if it means I should set you free, even if it means I will spend a hundred night inside my room crying a thousand gallons of tears, it's ok cause if I see one genuine smile from you I would be happy" I said all these words crying I don't know it would hurt this much. but atleast I could see both my best friend and the girl I love smile.

"Im sorry kageyama, i-I can't love you back im sure you'd find someone else someone better than me someone who could love you back, someone who could love you the way you love her, you don't need to be trapped inside your room for a hundred night, you don't need to waste a thousand gallons of tears because of me, don't waste it for someone who doesn't deserve it."-y/n

"its okay y/n, im okay. NOW GO GET THAT BOKE, MY BOKE be happy" I said gathering all my courage to say such painful word to someone you love, I know this will leave a scar but this wound is special, of course its made be y/n and my best friend.

...Y/N'S POV...

"I don't know whats happening this is no longer my imagination" I whispered to myself crying. I made kageyama cry, I don't deserve to be the cause of his tears, those tears should have been tears of joy but because of me his tears are all wasted.

"Shoyo?"I said in a low voice. I saw him crying, lying in the sand while looking at the stars.

"Y/N!!, where's kagayama, be happy with him okay? don't make my best friend cry love each other and get married" hinata said in a low, sweet but not sarcastic tone.

I sat down beside him and said"No, that should be you" I wanted to see him happy with kageyama, guess its time to set him free.

"me?, do you think he will be happy if we'll be together? he wont cause I'm not the one he loves, and even if he didn't reject me, we wouldn't be happy together if im the only one who loves him, I need to love someone who loves me too y/n not just as a friend but as a lover"-hinata

"then why not choose me?"I can't hide it anymore hinata and kageyama confessed,so why not try?

"cause I don't feel the same way, find someone who loves you and you love too"

"Pft- the words you said are the exact same words I said to kags, now I know how it feels, it hurts" Rejected lol I can't even say one word without my tears not dripping.

I was about to say a word when kageyama came and said"Why didn't you guys invite me? let's cry together"-kageyama

"cry together cause we rejected each other?"-hinata

"guess we just don't want to hurt each other"I said realizing why we rejected each other. kageyama wanted me and hinata to be happy even if it means he won't be for some time cause he wanted me to love someone I love, Hinata wanted me and kageyama to be together cause he wanted me to love someone who loves me cause he thought I loved kageyama too. while I wanted them to be happy, I already know that I will be rejected by Hinata but I also wanted to be free and happy while they are happy.

"but we ended up hurting each other, nobody had an happy ending"-hinata

"look at the star if we connect it its triangle just like us"-kageyama

"we are the rejected triangle"I said letting out a chuckle while crying.

We three stood up and went in different ways, I went to the street with my eyes blurry because of my tears falling non-stop. I didn't look at the stop light and walked not knowing there was a truck it hit me and the last two person I saw was kageyama and hinata.

I woke up realizing I was sitting "ehh-? im in the train station it was just a dream?"I whispered to myself when some one tapped my shoulder.

It was the start of winter when I decided to get a hot chocolate in a cafe nearby. A white feather suddenly distracted me from walking towards the street. I followed it instead of going to the cafe. I felt like its trying to bring me somewhere so I followed it, after awhile of following it, it fell to the ground I picked it but before I reached the ground someone grabbed it. She was beautiful, her eyes are gray, her hair is white, she looks lovely, only if she was mine, I'd call her my wife.

"Ohh sorry It looks so attractive I didn't know it belongs to you, mr.?"

"Sugawara koshi, you can call me suga. And you are?" I smiled and answered.

"Im y/n l/n, nice to meet you suga"

"I was following this feather, and it led me to you" I said chuckling.

"Oh, really guess this feather heard my prayer, wanna grab a coffee with me?"

"Sure" I quickly answered. she sounds cool and fun to talk to We grabbed our coffee and sat at the corner it was cold but I felt an undescribable warmth when she came and smiled at me.

"You cool?"she sked me raising one of her eyebrow when she caught me looking at her.

"Uhm..yeah you just look so nice" I answered smiling at her with my face tinted pink.

"Thanks suga" she shily answered.

Meanwhile the coffee was served she looked at it with her eyes mesmerizing, she looks so happy.

"Soo..? whats so happy about the coffee?" I asked her rubbing the back of my neck.

"Well it's been awhile since I got back here in japan I missed this coffee shop, I just got back from Canada." She answered sadly.

"Canada?" I asked

"Yes, I got there for my treatment. I- I have Cancer..stage five and My days are counted" she answered without any expression seen in her face.

"I- i'm sorry y/n" I said with a shock and worried tone, I didn't know such a beautiful lady with a beautiful smile has been carrying a big problem but...with a smile, how can she?-

"Its ok suga, I already accepted the fact that I can't live longer" she answered me.

"But you still have a chance to live right?" I asked her sadly.

"I hope so..." She smiled

"You don't have to do that, you can cry too you know, you don't need to force a smile, when you know you need to cry, let it out"

"I'm not forcing it, I mean it, i'm about to pass away I wanted to be happy too you know. I don't wanna be like the others who considers themselves as dead while they are still alive, nor being depressed in there rooms when they know they are about to die...I mean why not spend your last time with someone you love, someone you need, or something that makes you happy?."

" Your so brave y/n, what about you? Where's those someone that you love and makes you happy?"

" They're long gone, I grew up in an orphanage, my mom and dad are only childs and my grandparents are dead. I don't have anyone, I was just seven when they died."

"Im sorry to hear that" I was shocked when I heard her story it was full of pain and sorrow no wonder why she wants to be happy.

"My dad was the first one to pass away but after two months my mom was depressed and committed suicide... She can't accept the fact that my dad died"

"You okay to talk about this?"I asked

"Yup, I'd rather tell you than keep it inside, besides I actually wanted to talk to someone about my life"

"Thanks for trusting me" I happily said

"No problem, I know you're not a bad person" she said giving me a smile.

"Mind if I get your number?" I confidently asked her.

"Ohh, here's my number" she wrote her number in a piece of tissue paper she gave it to me then

"Thanks" I imidietly added her number to my contacts. And left a message her phone rang and I told her it was my number.

"Oh thanks, I was about to ask you but I guess you can read minds" she chuckled.

"No problem, by the way im a doctor"

TIME SKIP

its been two months and we always see each other we've gotten closer to each other and I know to myself that I like her it's just my heart that's not yet ready to be hurt and today I'll be meeting her again.

"Hey suga? Can you help me with something"

"Sure" I didn't hesitate to say yes

"Can you help me complete my bucket list? Wish you would be the one to complete it, it wouldn't be completed if you're gonna refuse it ,but its ok if you refuse tho."

"I would love to help you complete it, maybe if we complete it you might live longer"

"Really? Thank you so much!!"

She showed me her wish list its not hard to do at all, it was so simple. She's so simple no wonder god wanted her to be one of his angel. but she erased something.

"Do you wanna know why I want to do these stuff?"

"I Sure do" I laughed

" I wanted to climb Mt. Fuji because of my mom, she once told me to go there. I wanted to do a dare because I never did one if someone dares me I won't say no. ever scince my mom and dad died I never got to go out of the orphanage, and play with anyone else, when I got out for college I had a job but I don't have time for fun. I needed to work and study hard for my future, I did become successful but I guess I already know what's gonna happen in my future it's still a failure."

"but why did you erase this one?" I asked her with a curious look.

"cause I found him already, im just afraid to tell him, im afraid to be rejected and left alone."

"why not try?" I hope that was me tho.

"nah, I don't wanna hurt him." I love you Suga, but it seems like you don't love me the way I love you, but I don't wanna hurt you too."

...SUGAWARA'S POV...

I looked at her sadly, I love her so much and I wanna spend more time with her not as her friend but lover. And now i'm telling her once we get to mt. Fuji. I'm not afraid to be hurt anymore I know she's dying but I still have a chance to be with her, and im not wasting it.

"let's start completing your bucket list y/n" I said letting out a smile to her but suddenly a tear dropped, I can't stop but cry. I'm so weak when it comes to her, when she asked me to help her complete her bucket list I felt like she's saying goodbye.

" don't cry Suga it's okay," how can she say that. its not okay... she's dying, she's leaving me now.

"Y/n. Please don't leave me."my body is shaking, I was too emotional everytime a word comes out from her mouth. hearing her soft voice makes me cry.

"I'm not leaving you, I'm not leaving you yet."

hearing what she said and remembered my promise to myself, I stood up and wiped my tears I hugged her and whispered to Y/N ear " I'll be here if you need me y/n. I'll never leave you"

"thanks Suga"

We visited the orphanage, and she was so happy to see the nun's and kids she didn't tell anyone why she came cause she doesn't want them to worry. I saw her old room it was so small but when I looked at her she was so happy to see it again. I can see her smile again, the smile that makes me cry. After that we decided to head back and pack our thing's for our journey to mt. Fuji.

"SUGA!! Im so excited to get up there" she excitedly said.

"Me too y/n" I smiled, this is it. the time has come im gonna be telling her ones we get up there.

we've been climbing the mountain for hours, I can see that y/n is already tired so I decided to ask her to stop by for some minutes.

"Let's stop here for some minutes y/n, your tired"

"let's stop here Suga, let's just set our tent here, it looks dangerous up there"

"I agree"I helped her set up our tent and find some wood's for our fire. I looked at her beautiful face as she rub her white hair she looks so beautiful sitting at the snow, it was so cold but not as cold as my past.

...Y/N'S POV...

I looked at him standing and smiled, he's so perfect, nice, sweet I can't describe him he's just too perfect. Im glad I met him. I asked him to stop because I'm too tired already so we set up our tent here. I feel bad thought, we can't continue our journey "I'm sorry Suga, we can't continue because of me"I said with a sad tone"

"it's ok y/n its not your fault."he said trying to cheered me up.

For the first time I wanted to live longer, because of you I had a reason why I wanted to live but I know I can't live any longer anymore.

I think its time to tell her already, i'm already prepared for what might happen in the future, my heart is already prepared.

"y/n i-I need to tell you something" I stood up and faced her.

"hmm..Yes Suga?" she answered

"I- I love you" I gathered all my strength just to tell her this word.

"Su-Suga I love you too but I'm dying and you know that"my tears started to fall from my eyes as she said the word dying.

"y/n there's still a chance you could stay, please don't say that. I'm here y/n, I'm here to help you, to love you, im with you y/n" y/n started to cry as she hugged me and whispered.

" I love you too Suga, but I don't want to hurt you, I'm dying so please just find someone else, someone who could live longer and love you longer"

"I won't last long if I find another one your my earth your my only living planet"

So this is how being loved feels like, it makes me happy but I know I'll make him sad. I wanted him to stop but he wouldn't, guess thats true love. til death do us part.

it was already morning and we are about to leave mt. fuji when I felt a sudden pain,

I knew it was about time to leave him but I fought it. I didn't give up, because I still need to live for him, I have him here I don't wanna go up there yet, I still need him.

"you look so beautiful y/n you look like an angel"

"not yet Suga, im still here" I answered. I don't wanna be an angel I wanna be your queen, my king. The pain left as we started walking after hours of walking we finally made it down. I sat down and felt the pain once again, and I hate it. Suga ordered us some coffee to warm up.

"here you go y/n, your coffee"

"thanks Suga"

As I take a sip of my coffee I saw Suga looking at me so I asked him "what's up?"

and he answered"I love you" I can't help but cry if I hear that word and so does he "I love you too Suga" I suddenly felt the pain again but this time it hurts alot, I cant help but shout when I felt it which made Suga worry, people are starting at us as I-

Y/n suddenly fainted before I could even ask her what the problem is. I imidietly ran carrying her to my car and delivered her to the nearest hospital where im working. I automatically checked her condition but I can't with my situation, So I called a friend she's a good doctor. after a few hours she was out the emergency room already she was delivered to her room, the doctor explained and y/n talked privately before I could go and see her, I knew where this is going already. As I opened the door my tears are already dripping non-stop.

"Y/N!!" I shouted as I walked towards y/n. He was crying while looking at his girlfriend lying on the bed.

"Suga my love, come here please" y/n said as her tears was also dripping.

"Im here y/n, I always am"-suga

"And I will always be here for you too Suga, I will never leave you, but I need to go now Suga. I love you"

"I love you too y/n" I gathered all my strength saying every word.

"Guess I needed to complete my wish list already, there's only one thing I haven't done yet."

"and what is it my love?" I can't think about anything because im too focused on her.

" You can't do that, you'll fight right, you can do it y/n, don't leave me"

"I don't wanna leave you, I dont need too, but have to. please don't cry my love , pls remember I love you so much, and Im gonna watch over you up there. Im gonna be an angel, I can't be your queen anymore. So find another one Suga" before she closed her eyes she smiled at me and said "THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME SMILE LIKE THIS SUGAWARA YOUR MY ONE AND ONLY LOVE"

"PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME Y/N... come back I still need you." her smile didn't fade her smile that makes me squill, her smile that makes me cry the smile that's full of pain. the smile that gave me an undescribable warmth. I kissed her lips for the first and last time. as I heard a beeping sound. I thought I was ready but I wasn't at all.

you remembered as you and kenma are close friends scince your grade school. kenma and you would always play video games together, you would prank each other often, and get in trouble together. kenma is known by the others as sweet, silent, and nice, but his not like that when he's with you, he's nice and sweet to you too but in a different way and he is different when his with you. You once asked him why?, and he just looked at you and said"I just wanna be differently real when i'm with you." and from that you became lovers. You ware crying as you remembered these moments, words, sentences, and smiles you gave each other.

You sat on the ground with kuroo looking at kenma's grave, telling yourself to move on from kenma but you just can't. "You should go now kuroo, you still have alot of patients waiting for you at the hospital."

"Alright" You looked at kuroo as his figure disappeared, you looked at the sakura tree behind you and smiled sadly as one of it's flower fell at kenma's grave.

"look kenma it's so beautiful."

"But not as beautiful as you" you heard a familiar voice coming from your back, you turned around shocked of what you saw.

"k-kenma" You ran towards him and hugged him tight crying as he hugged back."You came back, I knew you'd come back"

"I didn't come back y/n, but im here to say goodbye" He smiled sadly, tears falling from his eyes.

"Goodbye? don't say goodbye to me kenma. please stay here." you begged.

"I wish I could but I couldn't do that."
