A girl who everyone called as Kana lived in a bethrotel as a dancing girl . She have been there for quite a long time now. Six years to be exact. She had came there as 11 year old .

She was beautiful with flowing jet black hair and shining black eyes that can mesmerize anyone. You could safely bet that half the people came there just to see her serve tea.

Even though she was a dancing girl officially it was very rare to see her dance. In fact her main job was to protect the other girls from vile people as she was very strong. That's where she got the name Kana from. Kana means The One who Has the Power, Powerful.

(Irony is that everyone of the girls were intended on protecting her from the men. Their excuse was that she's too cute and young)

And she have a lot of secrets . One of those secrets is only known to her and the owner of the bethrotel .That she's a warrior. A warrior of Hades(Shinigami ). She should have been dead along with the rest of them but she wasn't .

Note: I have replaced Shinigami (Japanese grim reaper) with Hades for convince. I can change it back into Shinigami if you guys are okay with that.

The other is that she is nameless. Kana was a name given by the bethrotel lady for convenience. It's not that important but she's afraid to tell people that no-one cared to give her a name. The warriors had called her Death. It was a honorable name for A warrior of Hades but it wasn't made of love. And she only got that name when she joined the group at the age of 3

Yeah you read that right. Warriors of Hades start their training from the day they turn three years old. Three year olds are trained to be assassins to protect the royals. And that's why they are so skilled. They start fighting with swords when others their age are still learning to walk properly.

Infact A single warrior of Hades is worth a hundred men. And an army of them undeafeatable . But they were all killed, massacred. After the death of the Emperor, the new emperor who had killed his own brother for the throne was afraid that the Shinigami warriors will avenge him if they found out what happened.

So he sent them away saying that the rebellion was rising and they need to stop it. He had already arranged another army to kill them all.

They shot arrows at them from multiple directions .But what brought them down was poison .Each arrow had a vial of poisonous gas and they were too late to notice that.

The emperor announced that they died in action

Skills :Sword art. Archery. Strategy development. Agility. Medicine to an extent (modern or western as well as Japanese) Also uses a set of daggers tied to silk ribbons which she hides by wrapping the ribbon over the dagger as well as her lower arm. Sings and dances beautifully

Character : Serious most times .Fiercely loyal. Loves her friends as much as possible even if she never shows it. Acts like cutie with the elders she is close with. Never gives up. Never trust anyone easily . Doesn't trust men easily because of her experience from past life.

Jomei

Jomei means "spread light" or "spread joy" His other name is Takeo which is given by the current emperor aka his uncle

Doesn't have a sur name being the son of the emperor.

* note : In Japanese culture neither the emperors nor their family have sur name since it is the emperor who awards every family with a sur name. Some princes might get surnames though. Don't ask me the reason I don't know.

First son of the late emperor, nephew of the current emperor . Lost the position of crown prince after the death of his parents.

Appearance : soft black hair , piercing red eyes, slightly pale. Looks sorta malnourished at first sight. ( he is not malnourished )

Age:19

Height : 6'3

Skills : Plays flute with utmost elegance. Very agile . Has a good eye sight, able to see from great distances .

Character : Childish and playful when you get to know him. Kind hearted. Suffering from Post traumatic stress disorder(P.T.S.D.) Forgives anyone easily . Pretends not to care when people treat him harsh but always feel hurt. Loves getting attention.

Kana's POV

I could hear them cheering for me. See, I'm very popular here . Mrs Chibiki, the owner of this bethrotel, came by the side of the curtain and clapped in a pattern signaling the entrance of the first batch of the dancing girls. I will enter the stage after they warm up the crowd.

They are mostly here for me , so the lady in charge makes me wear a veil to cover my face. They can only see my eyes, hair and my palms. Yet here they are cheering for me. I don't get how these men think. I never understood it the 6 years I spent here and I don't feel like I ever will.

Most of them have multiple wives back in their homes ready to serve them, yet here they come waiting for random girls who will never be faithful. They let them in on their secrets thinking they will in the influence of wine, only for the girl to trade that secret for money.

I hate people who aren't loyal. But I don't blame anyone here. After all this is the only way they can survive once they chose this professor. You can safely bet that half of these girls are spies and most of them have secrets. Some have bigger ones than the others. Like me who's a warrior .

But I assure you all of them are nice. This place is nothing like what people assume. Not everyone is jealous of others being better. No one drugs or give philters to random people. No bullying. Some of them sells their bodies, yes but that's not all of them. And that's does not make them bad.

They all treat each others, including me, as sisters and we protect each other. They treat me special because I came here as a eleven year old, being the youngest. They even go out of their way to make sure that no one touches me.

Mrs Chibiki tapped her foot signaling me. I secured my veil with another ribbon and shoved the curtains back. The crowd went wild. I moved slowly to center and started my dance. I used to sing as well in the beginning. Now I don't since the care taker said I'm giving them too much for too little money. I don't get it. Like I said before I don't get what these people think.

My bangles jingled to the music and annoying me in the process. I hate bangles, They remind me of shackles. That rhyme pretty well, huh ?. It reminds me of the time before I learned to fight when I was shackled at ankles and wrists and locked in a room. Who does that to a 3 year old? well my parents does.

They thought I'll forget it once I grow up. Little did they know that their new born baby could already think straight. That she had every memory of a 13 year old genius who have such sharp memory that she never forget a thing she read. How will she forget the horrible things they said ?

I finished my dance. And served tea to a few. A pervert was planning to grope me but sister Yue stepped in and started to flirt with him, Granting me a perfect chance to escape to my room. And so I did. Had I stayed it would've been hard to stop my hands from getting his head.

I locked myself in and sighed softly. Then started counting down from 100. I just can't live like this. I would never get used to such indignity. But I have to do so until the right time.
