Jace stuttered as he looked at his surroundings.
He was on a hospital bed. He had a lot of fluids and Ivys next to him. Other than eerie silence, he didn't worry about anything else.

Then, the television beside his hospital bed opened.

Jace couldn't swear, as the reporters in the TV started speaking.

Hello World, ABV News on air. For the past weeks, we have gotten reports of a virus that make people, no matter what age or condition, very aggressive against ther people, and makes them hunger for human flesh.

Not much is known about the virus, but we do know that the virus is dangerous. It can be transmitted through physical contact, by saliva or blood. There are cases of this virus all around the world, the cases reported to be as high as 520,000. Death tolls, 1,000.
Not only that, many cities have been destroyed by the chaos as well.

The military will be dealing with the infected, as they cannot be dealt by your ordinary vaccine.

we do not have immmunity to this disease, and neither do animals. There has been some cases of this virus in dogs, cats, and rats as well.

As of now, the most logical option in stopping the virus is killing the infected, for if they cannot stop, they could infect more.

The TV then stuttered, and went back to a noisy black and white screen.

A virus? A disease all around the world? Infected and agressive people?

THIS DOESN'T MAKE SENSE, DAMN IT!
He punched the hospital bed.
The then kept quiet as, he heard an eerie growl outside his room.
He stood up, as he took off all the shit that the doctors put in his body. He wore a hospital gown.
He opened the door slightly, and what he saw outside gave him the willies.
The hallway of the hospital was dark. And the floor was covered in dark red liquids.
He then heard another growl from the distance.
The closed and locked the door quickly, as he didn't know what to do.

HOLY SHIT. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?
Jace's eyes bulged as blood hit his forehead.
His hands started shaking, as he looked above him.
It was a pool of blood above him, from the upper floor.
