A long, long time ago, before the birth of any elemental controller, angels and demons ruled the world. Just like black and white, day and night, light and dark, these beings were said to be complete opposites of the other. Why wouldn't such powerful and brilliants beings not be alive anymore? As the legend has it, an Angel and Demon had a forbidden relationship that angered the gods, sending their world as they knew it into complete and utter chaos. A powerful Goddess took pity on the couple, the Goddess of love. She thought what the other Celestial beings did was way too cruel, especially towards their own people, the angels. So she gave them a choice. That they shall die together today, or one may continue to live on with the memories of this life time. The Goddess thought she was doing them a favor by letting one keep their memory. The Angel told the goddess to let the Demon keep the memories, so that the Angel could be reassured that the Demon would reincarnate even if the Angel could not. But the Demon knew that there was no life without the Angel, so the Demon hugged the Angel one last time, before piercing his heart with his soul devouring sword. The Angel cried and begged the Goddess to save his lovers soul, but the Goddess could do but nothing. He was gone. So the Goddess granted one last favor as she silently cried from the  sky above. She granted the Demons sword to be engraved and become one with the Angels soul. As the fury of the other celestial beings rained their wrath on their world, the Angel held his dead lover in his arm, unimaginable pain and silent tears rupturing his already broken heart til the end.

Thousands of years later, the once destroyed world blossomed into a beautiful place, where Elemental wielders ruled. The Shadow Kingdom, The Light Kingdom, The Unknown Kingdom, The Wind Kingdom, The Water Kingdom, The Fire Kingdom, The Nature Kingdom, The Ice Kingdom, The Sky Kingdom, and The Animal Kingdom. Like their predecessors, the ten known Kingdoms lived in constant war with one another, countless lives lost everyday, and poverty caused by war taxes spread commonly for the common folks.

But today... was a special day that only occurred every one hundred years. Today was the day that the one and only Angel was reborn.

A woman on a farm screamed in pain as the expected baby came out crying. A happy new father held up the baby laughing, a smile so bright on his face that made his wife even happier. The wife closed her eyes slowly and whispered. "I finally... gave you a son..." The man looked at his wife, seeing the heavy blood on the cotton cloth, he stood there shocked. One silent tear slid down his cheek, the only noise was the babies screams. The man mourned his dead wife for days, the man blamed the baby for taking his wife's life, but he blamed himself even more. But once he looked into his newborns eyes, he saw the same agony he was feeling himself, which melted his heart completely, all hatred and blame gone like it never existed.

Ten years later,,,

"Aquila! We need to move now! They're here! Get over here!" Aquila did as told, he walked towards his father. When Aquila was in arms reach, his father grabbed him and shoved him in the open floor board. "Are you okay?" Aquila shook his head "yes" and his father continued. All the light Aquila could see was covered by the floor board, and the carpet on top of it.

Just in time, a loud and commanding knock resounded the room. Aquila could sense his fathers fear, but he couldn't do anything but wait for them to leave. But unlike the other times, this time was different. "I'm coming!" His fathers footsteps went farther away from Aquila's ears. He heard distant talking, but wasn't able to understand what they were saying.

Aquila heard yelling, it sounded like his father, he heard a heavy pair of footsteps, and a sudden bang had Aquila startled. Aquila waited, but heard nothing. Not a single peep. But he knew he couldn't go out until his father opened the floor board for him. So he waited, and waited. But no signs of his father coming to get him. Until he felt something wet hit his left check. And again, but on his lip this time. A metal tasting substance met his taste buds.

Aquila then realized what happened. Silent tears streamed down his face like a constant river. But he didn't dare to make a peep. He didn't know if the bad guys were still there. So he quietly made his was into a narrow tunnel his father built in case of an emergency where he needed Aquila to escape far from the farm.

At the end of the tunnel, a bag his father prepared for him was well hidden under a rock.His father showed him this place once two years ago when the war between The Nature and Fire Kingdom started. Aquila's father is, no was, a nature controller along with his mother. The Nature Militia would ransack the common folks homes and take their food or anything that was valuable. Children were included in what the soldiers would take. Two things would happen to the children. One, they'd have their roots tested, if they were decent, then they'd be sent to the front lines without proper training. And two, if their root was not useful to them, the children would be sent to factories or sold on the black market. Roots are what type of Nature group they control. Like the dirt, or plants. The Nature Kingdom is losing the war, they are destroying it for the Fire Kingdom.

Aquila was born with limited knowledge, he would continue to remember things as he grows, but right now, he only knows how to survive, and what his root is. Aquila had a very rare root, he had a duel root. Meaning he controlled two elements. One was metals, and the other was electricity.

A few weeks after Aquila lost his father, Aquila was living in a forest temporarily that was close to the ice nation, he was just passing through but needed to restock on food. He asked the animals in the forest to help him gather food, and in return he would sit there for hours petting them and sharing the gathered rations with them. Deer's with crystal antlers, birds with glass bodies, butterflies with clear wings, fairy's who were claimed to be dangerous and tricksters, foxes with nine tails, and so many more species came to Aquila's aide. Aquila always got along with the animals, didn't matter what their personality's were like, they all felt an undeniable attraction towards Aquila.

While Aquila was surrounded by the animals, playing and laughing with them, he sensed a presence watching them from afar. Aquila never talked, no one knew if he was mute or dumb. Aquila's rare smile dropped immediately as he looked in the direction where he felt the presence.

He didn't feel a danger from the presence, but a different and unsettling feeling. As a warning, Aquila made a metal spike wall cutting through to where he felt the presence. But strangely, it was gone. But what he wasn't expecting was a drugged dart to hit him in the back of the neck.

Aquila didn't know how long he was out for, but the cold chilly air caressed his cheek. "Is that him?" A deep voice asked. "Yes, I wouldn't forget his unique face." Said a female voice. Aquila had his hands and feet restricted, but he still managed to sit up. A blindfold blocked his eyes, but not his sight. He used his ears and touch to see instead of his eyes.

"Boy, what's your name?" The deep voice asked. Aquila kept his face expressionless as he faced towards the man. "What's someone from the Animal Kingdom doing on the borders?" The man questioned Aquila again, but the man received no answer.

Aquila only tapped his blindfold after a few minutes. "Maybe he can't hear." Said the woman.

The blindfold was roughly removed, and two beautiful people stood in front of him.

The man had long white hair with golden eyes, strong features, but overall beautiful. The woman had a grey white hair, not as pure as the mans, but it was close. Her eyes a deep blue and thin figure. Both of them looked maybe fifteen.

Aquila shook his head. They were in some kinda hunting hut. "I think he's harmless, let's just get this over with and kill him." The main said impatiently. Aquila didn't flinch at this, he just sat calmly on the ground,

"Hold on." The woman went to the table next to the couch, and grabbed a  vase with Iced flowers in it. She then returned to the two of them. She knelled down in front of Aquila, and started wiping his face with the water and her sleeve. Aquila still didn't make any sign of movement. He just stared into her deep blue eyes.
