It was a sunny day with no clouds at all. The only thing that can be seen in the sky was the bright round sun gleaming its rays down to all corners.

Haru was sitting on a wooden bench near the big oak tree. As he was gazing straight ahead to the other children playing in the garden, he was once again reminded why he was here in the first place.

9 years ago, Haru was sleeping in his bedroom when suddenly he heard the sound of glass shattering from downstairs. When he reached downstairs he saw his parents were on the ground surrounded by pool of blood, but before he could do anything, someone hit him hard from behind and he lost consciousness. The next thing he saw after opening his eyes were two police officers and some neighbors...and his parents body being carried away. Haru wanted to run to them but one of the police officers stopped him saying that they are dead and he should not go there now.

After 3 days of investigation it was concluded that his parents were killed because they witnessed a robbery in their house. Since Haru didn't have any relatives or close friends, he was sent to the local orphanage 'Sunshine Ville Orphange'. After coming to the orphange he could not sleep at all, the image of his dead parents being carried away replaying in his mind.

His thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a voice calling out to him. " Haru!! There you are..Mrs Smith was looking for you." This is Abby, his only friend in this lonely place. Haru turned around towards her giving her a soft smile and getting up from his place.

"What is it Abby? " he asked her.

"It looks like someone is here to adopt you" she replied.

"Okay...tell Mrs Smith that I am coming"

"Sure" Abby said that and turned towards the orphange building. Haru after giving a final glance to the playing children in the garden turned away to go back into the building.

Once he was inside he saw Mrs Smith talking to two people, a man and a woman, with their backs towards Haru. They were wearing vintage but expensive looking dresses. When Mrs Smith spotted him, she beckoned him over there. When Haru stands beside Mrs Smith, he sees that the man is looking directly into his eyes, making him a feel little bit uncomfortable while the woman was talking to Mrs Smith even though her gaze lingered on Haru's in between more than once.

"So...Haru" Mrs Smith spoke "This is Mr and Mrs Wright and they are here to adopt you". "You are one lucky boy...for they are very rich." Before she can say something else the man called Mr Wright spoke to Haru in a low but deep voice.

"So Haru how old are you"

"Umm i turned 16 this April"

"Right...as you know we are here to adopt you..but you will not be alone since you will have an older brother too"

"brother? " Haru asked confused.

"That's right. His name is Cedric" Mr Wright answered.

"But don't worry" now the lady next to him spoke "Our Cedric is only a year older than you".

" Umm okay" Haru didn't know what else to say.

"And you will be moving with us next day only" Mrs Wright said.

"Wait what? But that's so sudden" Haru replied immediately.

"Don't worry we talked about this to Mrs Smith earlier only" she said "And since it's only a couple of hours drive from here I don't see the harm".

"Alright" Haru replied.

"Good now that we are clear here...we will be coming back to take you from here tomorrow at 9 am Haru" Mr Wright said to him. " Therefore I hope you pack all your necessary stuff carefully and quickly"

"Well then we will meet you again tomorrow" with that both Mr and Mrs Wright left the orphange.

The whole night Haru was busy arranging his stuff into three suitcases with which he had first come here. Abby also stayed the whole night with him to help.

The next day at 8 in the morning after eating his breakfast, he was getting ready to leave. After saying his goodbye to his only friend Abby and other children in the orphange, Haru waited for his new parents in the small living room next to Mrs Smith office.

At 9 o'clock exact, they arrived and after saying goodbye to Mrs Smith and Abby once again he went out. He saw Mr Wright was telling his driver to put all of Haru's suitcases in the back. After giving one final longing gaze to the orphange in which he has spent 9 years he went inside the car. With him being in the middle of Mr and Mrs Wright. After they were settled Mr Wright gave the signal to drive.

It was not a long journey just like Mrs Wright said, it only took them barely 2 hours to reach a beautiful mansion of white marble surrounded by a beautiful garden. When the car pulled in the driveway and Haru exited, he saw a boy of his age with chestnut brown hair and golden eyes standing outside the house waiting for them. He was leaning against the door. He gave Haru a top to bottom look before walking up to him.

"Haru..right?" the boy asked him.

"Yes...and you are-"

"Cedric Wright" the boy flatly interrupted him.

"R-right...so umm" Haru was confused on what to say next.

But before he could think or say anything Cedric interrupted him again.

"You know when mom and dad talked about bringing an another child home, I thought it will be a plain and boring guy with idiotic eyes" he said " but I see you have a pretty cute face and also your eyes are very gorgeous too".

Haru blushed at the sudden compliment. The only person who complimented him like that was his mother saying that his eyes reminded her of ocean.

"Come on now don't stand there like that" saying that Cedric hugged Haru tightly before whispering in his ears.

"I really like you...you are so cute"

Haru blush intensified and before he could say anything, Cedric loosened his grip on him and turned around after giving him a wink and a smirk. Haru could only stand there for a minute to gather his thoughts before a deep voice spoke.

"It looks like you already met Cedric" Mr Wright said.

"Y-yes" Haru stuttered a little bit.

*giggle* "It's a good thing you are getting along since you will be brothers from now on" Mrs Wright said in a soft tone.

"I guess so..."

"Well come on in then, you should see the inside too" Mr Wright said that and went inside the house with one suitcase while his driver was carrying the other two.

After him Mrs Wright followed and soon after straightening and adjusting himself to the new life before him Haru followed them both inside too.

After Haru went inside the mansion, he was astonished to find the place to be this big.

*this place is so huge...it can easily accommodate all the children from the orphange* Haru thought to himself.

Just then two women in maid outfits came up to them. One was wearing glasses with her golden hair tied in a bun while the other had her shoulder length orange hair swept to the side, both of them wearing polite smile while bowing to them.

"Haru these two women are your and Cedric's personal maids. The one with golden hair is Alissa and has been working here for 10 years for Cedric." Mr Wright said.

"While Yuri" he said pointing towards the orange woman "she has started working just a couple of days ago only but she does her work with great enthusiasm so I think you will like her company".

"Well...there was really no need for this. I could at least handle taking care of myself." Haru spoke honestly.

*giggle* "Of course you can dear but since you are going to be a part of our family from now on, I suggest it would be better if you get used to this" Mrs Wright said.

"Okay" Haru replied a bit hesitate.

"And don't worry if you need any help you can always count on Cedric too" Mr Wright said glancing towards Cedric.

When Haru glanced towards him he found Cedric giving him a smirk and then winked playfully at him. Haru blushed.

"Alright I will remember that" Haru said it after shaking his head lightly.

"Alright...i guess thats it for now...Yuri will carry your suitcases towards your room on the first floor which is by the way right next to Cedric's"

"Also I and Mrs Wright has some business to attend to that's why Cedric will show you the rest of the house"

"Hmm" Haru responded.

"Oh and Haru" Mrs Wright came face to face with Haru and spoke "Since you are going to stay here with us...i think it will be better if you called us mom and dad"

"R-right...mom..." Haru replied.

*smile* "Good boy" Mrs Wright said patting his head.

After saying their goodbye Mr and Mrs Wright went off to their office with their driver. While Alissa and Yuri began to do their daily chores.

"So..." Haru trailed off.

"So? " Cedric flatly replied.

"Will you show me to my room? "

"Sure...come"

Haru followed Cedric on the staircase which was located in the middle of the living room. Cedric told Haru that the first room on the first floor is his and right next to it is Haru's room.

Haru went inside the room with Cedric following him and slamming the door shut behind him. He grabbed Haru's arm and pinned him against the wall next to the door.

"Ce-cedric...wh-what are you doing? "

*smirk* " Don't tell you don't know"

"I-I don't"

"Oh really...it looks then I will have to show what *exactly* I am doing right? "

Before any more words can be exchanged between them Cedric closed the distance between them and pulled Haru in a passionate slow kiss.

"Mmmn"

Cedric licked Haru's bottom lip to gain entrance which he gave hesitantly. But once Cedric's tongue was inside, Haru moaned into the feeling of it against his inside.

"So even now are you not sure what I want? "

When Cedric broke the kiss Haru was breathing heavily and his cheeks were flushed.

"N-no"

"Hmm...looks like then I will just have to be more accurate" Cedric said that and pulled his hand under Haru's shirt.

"W-wait!! " Haru frantically removed his hand.

"What? Weren't you the one who wanted me to be accurate? "

"Th-thats not what I mean...wh-why are you doing this to me...i mean we are brothers" Haru spoke in between his heavy panting.

Cedric furrowed his brows a little before continuing.

"I know but I don't feel that brotherly bond between us....more like something beyond that" Cedric said that giving a small peck to Haru's lips.

"B-but"

Before Haru can continue Cedric pinned both of his hands above his head while facing Haru once again dead in the eyes.

Both of them didn't said anything for a minute before Cedric broke this silence with another kiss on his lips.

"Mmn!!...Ce-cedric!! "

" I don't care"

"Huh? "

" I said I don't care whether you are my brother or not Haru...i like you and I mean as if in love between two people and not two brothers...thats why I am not going to stop."

" I won't push you very hard though but I also won't give up easily either. "

With that being said Cedric gave one final kiss to his lips before disappearing out of the room leaving a confused Haru just standing there with his flushed cheeks and fingers lingering on his lips where Cedric's touched his.

Haru was standing there frozen in place due to what had happened. A good few minutes passed by like this when suddenly there is a knock on the door.

"Haru? " A girlish voice called out to him.

"Come in..." he replied back.

When the door opened he found Yuri holding a tray with tea cup and some cookies on it.

She smiled at him and set the tray on the table beside his bed and then turned to address him.

"So how did you find your room? " she asked in a soft tone.

"Yeah it is nice...really nice" Haru replied back while giving his room another quick glance.

"Well that's good to hear. So umm" she trailed off a bit.

"What's wrong? " he asked.

"How do you find them...i mean your new parents? "

"Yeah...they are nice I am still a bit stiff around Mr Wright but I guess it is only natural for me" he said that giving her a small smile.

*smile* "That's true...and..." she trailed off again " What about your brother? "

Haru blushed a little bit on the mention of his brother because of the situation they were in just moments ago.

" Well...i don't know....i mean he seems nice...but..."

"But? " Yuri asks a bit concerned about him.

*sighs* " I can't say for sure right now but I think...he is more than meets the eye"

"Oh don't worry about it, even I thought the same way when I met him for the first time but he is actually a nice person"

"Really? " Haru asked her.

"Yes. He even sometimes helped me with my chores when Miss Alissa had been busy. "

Haru did not say anything back but instead faced the ground instead.

"Hey...Haru" she called out to him.

Haru looked back at her finding her giving him a friendly smile.

"I know it is a lot to take in at once but trust me the Wright family is really caring towards its members and staff....so I am sure you will blend in no time with them...even Cedric"

"I hope so too..."

"Well keeping that aside...have you seen the whole place yet? "

"No"

*giggle* " Then how about I show you...after all it is my job as your personal maid"

*smile* "Sure"

They both then wandered to many corners of the mansion from living room with a huge fireplace to the huge kitchen attached with a long table in the middle of it which can seat 10 people at same time. After that Yuri led him to the library room on the 2nd floor which was basically Mr Wright's study room.

The room was filled with smell of old books and newly painted bookshelves. He wandered around for a bit before joining Yuri outside the mansion and meeting in the huge garden surrounding it.

The garden was beautifully kept with different kinds of flowers to well-trimmed bushes and some fruit trees here and there. In the middle of the garden there was a huge fountain surrounded by blue berry bushes.

"Mrs Wright loves blue berries very much" she said looking towards the bushes.

"Hmm" Haru only hummed in response before taking in the beautiful scenery in front of him.

"Oh and before I forget to mention this but every Saturday Mrs Wright and Cedric come here to look after the garden themselves"

"They do? "

"Yup and you know what I was kind of surprised but Cedric is quite good at it too"

*giggle* "Can't blame you he does have a personality of a party kind of guy"

"Exactly! that's the same thing I told Miss Alissa when I first found out" *chuckle*

"Yuri!! "

Both Yuri and Haru looked back to find Cedric coming towards them.

" Sorry but Alissa is looking for you. She needs help with the lunch preparation "

"Umm..." Yuri looked back at Haru hesitantly.

"Don't worry I can show him the rest. You go back and help Alissa"

"Understood" with that said Yuri went back inside the mansion.

Haru then turned around and faced the fountain once again who was soon joined by Cedric at his side.

"So now you are trying to avoid me or something? " he asked.

"Why do you think that? " Haru replied back with a question.

"Because instead of asking me to show you around you asked Yuri...thats why"

"I didn't quite asked her...she asked me herself so I didn't refuse since I wanted to take some things off my mind"

"You mean the kiss right? " Cedric asked without hesitation.

Haru simply nodded at his question.

"You know when I said I liked you....romantically....i wasn't lying or fooling around...i really meant it Haru" Cedric said as he turned to face Haru.

Haru then too turned to face him in the eyes. He took a deep breath and continued.

" Cedric..." he addressed him in a low and confirmed tone.

" I don't think I can reciprocate your feelings towards me....i mean...i have barely loved someone like that...and you are my brother on

top of it Cedric "

"Like I said I don't care....i like you and that's final"

" What about your parents then...wont they be mad at you for liking a boy like that? "

" They wont...they already know I am into boys and support me...but I could never bring this topic more than once or twice because no one caught my attention like the way you do. "

"But Cedric...they won't accept it...especially with your brother...they won't..."

*sigh* " That's a topic of later discussion...right now what I need to know is your feelings"

"I am sorry but I don't know what to say right now"

"It's okay...you have plenty of time to think as you are not going anywhere soon"

Haru remained quiet after that with Cedric beside him the whole time. After standing there for a good few minutes they went back.

Around 3 hours later Mr and Mrs Wright returned and told the boys to join them for lunch. At the dining table Mr Wright sat at the head with Mrs Wright beside him on one side and Haru and Cedric on other. After they were settled, both Alissa and Yuri served them lunch which consisted of spaghetti and pasta salad for main dishes and for dessert they had a slice of blue berry pie.

After serving the lunch the maids went away to do other works while all four of them sat there silently eating their lunch.

"So...how did you find your new home. Did you saw all around the mansion? " Mrs Wright said breaking the silence.

"Yeah it's really spacious but all the places have been beautifully decorated and maintained" he replied.

"Glad to hear...and oh! Cedric I forgot to mention but Rachel invited you and Haru to her house for a small party"

" I didn't remember telling her about Haru"

"I know...actually while we were returning we runned into her on our way back...so naturally she only invited you but when we told her about Haru she insisted that you bring him with you to her place"

"I think it's a good way for Haru to find some new friends...as you didn't have many friends back there in the orphanage right? " Mr Wright said to Haru.

Haru nodded.

"I have no problem with that. What do you think Haru? "

"Sure"

"Good...the party is at 7 in the night by the way" Mrs Wright said.

After lunch they all retired to their room and at 6 in the evening Haru and Cedric went to change their clothes. Around 15 minutes before the start of the party they left the mansion in the car with the driver leading the way to Rachel's house.

After the driver safely drove them there he told them to call back as soon as they were ready to leave and with that he went back.

Haru was standing in front of the house looking nervous but Cedric grabbed his hand gently and took him to the front door knocking on it three times.

They waited there for a minute before light footsteps could be heard from inside and the door was unlocked with a click revealing a girl of Haru's age with her red hair tied in a high ponytail wearing a friendly smile towards them.
