I can say that im drunk, after all those bottles of alcohol how can i say im not drunk, but why cant I stop from drinking?, why cant I stop this pain in my chest, I thought that alcohol is the only way to get rid of these pain but why?, why cant it work? why Im still feeling it in my chest?

“Bro you need to stop, you cant drink anymore” Daryn said and finally get the glass of alcohol in my hand as I think about her, tears start running down from my eyes, I look around so that my tears would stop from flowing but it didnt stop, i was scanning the whole area to try to advert my attention but I was stunned as I saw a familiar back, her hair, her body, I cant be wrong she is here

I stand up and walk towards her I can feel that my heartbeat s getting faster as I get close to her I don’t know if it is caused by the alcohol or because of the excitement that I can finally see her after a long time

“Dexerie, Rie!” I call out her name when I was behind her I grab her shoulders and turn her around but I think it was just an illusion made by my silly mind it was not her, she doesn't resemble her at all

“Im sorry i mistken you from someone” I said as I see how shock she is, i apologize once again and  I turn my back against her and start to head from where I was sitting, after I take sit I poured another alcohol in my glass and drink it in one shot

‘shit! Why cant I forget about you’ I said to myself and start to slap myself but I was stopped by my friends from hurting myself, i try t break free but their grip are strong and he only i can do is nothing

“Wasted, drinking, crying? is that all you can do?” I heard a familiar voice said, I lift up my head to see who is that person and it turns out it is Rie’s cousin Loyr, I abruptly stand up and face him, I don’t know what is this feeling but upon seeing him I have this relieve feeling and hope inside

“Is she here? Did she already comeback? Where is she?” I asked him without making a pause thinking that she comeback home after a long time, it makes me want to go to her and hug her and say sorry when i see her again

“No she hasn't return yet, but if you are like this you might don’t have any chance to be with her, pull yourself together stop drinking and thinking about her, just let her go man” he said and turn his back to me I clenched my hand into a fist after hearing the last sentence he just said, i follow him and grab him and urn him around

“What?!, what did you just say?!” I angrily said and hold him in the collar, I was sober now after what he just said, I can feel my anger is rising

“Look man, you want her to be gone and now that she is gone you want her to comeback!, what do you think of her, a toy?! a toy that if you lost interest you’ll throw it away?!” he angrily said to me and shake my hands off, that made me realize I was the one who caused this

Mike and daryn separate me from Loyr but I shove all their hands and directly go to him, mike who was about to hold me back stopped when I kneel down in front of Loyr

I don’t know what im doing this time but all I know is that im willing to do anything just to see her again, just to see her smile, just to hear her laugh and just to be with her im willing to take everything even I would walk to a ground full of broken glasses just to prove that I regret it and to prove that I love her

“Please let me meet her, just tell me where she is now and I will do anything for her in return” I pleadingly said to him while kneeling I don’t know, I don’t know all that is popping in my head is her image and he sweet innocent smile but I made those smile disappear

“Zyn you don’t have to beg me, you don’t have to say that you will do anything for her” he said and help me standup tears start to running again in my checks but I try o hold it back

“If you truly love her you will find her even it will take forever, if you truly love her you won’t just drink and cry and wait for her to return cause I know you already know where she is right now” he said and I feel that  was just splashed by a cold water I was awaken from everything that he said, i was waken up from reality, what heis right instead of drinking and getting wasted I should look for her long time ago

“Prove you love her Zyn, dont worry I support you but promise me don’t hurt her again man, she is so fragile that once you don’t take good care of her she will brake, don't hurt her again if you do i wont let you go im not saying this because im her cousin but as your friend Zyn" he said and walk closer to me and whisper something into my ear

“fight for your love for her Zyn” and pat my shoulders and stride to the exit, it made me stay for my position for a long time after I turn to mike and said

“I will get her and I wont let her escape this time” after I said these I walk towards the exit and find my out of the bar

the class were about to start when i arrived at the classroom luckily the first period teacher is not here yet i let out a sigh of relief when i saw that the students were still busy chatting with each other i stride towards my seat at the last row, as i take a sit i gather my things and get my book and placed it on the top of the table, i scan my textbooks

"DEX!!!" i was surprised when someone called my name loudly hat made me jumped a bit from my seat, i look around the classroom to see that they were all staring at me and when my eyes land at the door there i saw who is the culprit, the one who shouts my name loudly is no other than my best friend Kloe, i saw her standing at the door with a wide smile in her face but she was catching her breath then she run towards me that she almost crashed into my table

"Woah, woah what with the rush?" i ask her but she couldn't answer my question for she is catching her breath she take a sit in front of me and she try so hard to catch her breath

"Ha-Dex y-your childhood f-friend Ryhde he is fighting with the transferee"he said hardly breathing after wht she said she lean on the chair and is still catching her breath

"But what happened to you?" i ask her and hand her my water, there's nothing new Rhyde always like to fight and he is merely a trouble maker so im used when there is a fight and he is the one who is always involved

"I just run from the back of the building because i was about to be late when i witness that Ryhde is picking up a fight with a new guy" she said as she drink the water

"What's new, aren't you used to it?" i said and Kloe approve what i just said and return the tumbler to me

"But that new guy is hot" she said but i just shrug my head from what she just said, the bell rang and everyone go to their designated seats after a few minutes passed the first period teacher come in and we ll greet him

it was lunch time and everyone is heading to the cafeteria, i was left alone in the classroom fixing my things, when im done i get up and go out of the classroom when i bumped into someone it was not that strong but it made me drop my wallet, i was about to pick up my wallet when a hand suddenly reached it

"Thank yo-" i didnt finish what im going to say when i saw who is that guy, i was stunned in my spot, my heart start to beat rapidly and my face start to heat up, he is so handsome looking guy

"Uhm miss you drop this" he said with a smile on his face .and it made me snap back from reality i quickly  grab my wallet from him

"T-thank you and sorry for bumping into you" i said and flee from that place i quickly walk away from him so that he wouldn't see how red my face is

after arriving at the cafeteria a quickly line up and patiently wait for my turn, when is is finally my turn i pay the food that it is in my tray and leave i was looking for a table when i found a vacant seat at the last row s i decide to sit there

after placing the tray on the table i take a st and enjoy my lunch when suddenly a tray was place at my table i look up to see who is it and it was the guy who i just bumped earlier

"Can i sit here" he said and i just nod in agreement he smile and take a sit, the atmosphere was so silent and awkward but i still continue eating when that guy break the silence

"I think it's late for me to ask this but whats your name" he said

"Dexerie"  i replied shortly so that i couldn't show how much is my heart is beating

"im Zynab" he replied and extend his hand i accept his handshake and smile at him, so his name is Zynab i try hard to cover my excitement of knowing his name and try so hard not to smile

minutes has passed when im done eating i stand up and place tidy up the table

"I should go now, nice meeting you" i said and leave the cafeteria

who knows that the very first day of school someone would make my heart beat fast
