Chapter one :

Night slowly settled in a quiet manner and bright stars began to appear.

On the hillside, a child about six years old is in a strange position, his legs were crossed, his palms were joined together almost in a praying manner but instead they were placed on his crossed legs and faint spiritual energy constantly circled within his small body.

Moonlight shone down,enveloping the child's body.

The boy continued meditating in this position, inhaling spiritual energy into his body, letting it flow along the meridians.

In this world, the spiritual energy which was currently flowing into his body was called Mana.

Night slowly passed.

As the moonlight faded, replaced by the first rays of sunshine, the child slowly opened his eyes to reveal deep dark pupils that seemed to have a dark blue glint deep within them.

Lucas breathed out a mouthful of foul air as he slowly got up from his meditating position. From the day he was born till the present day, it has been six years since he came to this world.

In his previous life, he was a genius in terms of swordsmanship and was appointed the title 'master of swords' at the age of seventeen.

He was recognized by all in his former continent and in terms of swordsmanship, no one could rival him.

But unfortunately, he met his demise at the age of eighteen, a year after he was given the title 'master of swords'. his killers were unknown to him, but before his death, he finally realized something, that he was just a frog stuck at the bottom of a well.

The matter that depressed Lucas the most was the fact that he didn't know how or why he awoke in a newborn baby immediately after his death.

Lucas looked at his small hands and smiled sourly, he had been eighteen and after seventeen years of hard work, he finally got rewarded for it, but never could he have imagined that he would be killed and end up starting all over again.

At this moment, Lucas heard the soft rustle of footsteps coming from the direction of the hillside, he turned over his shoulder and saw a lovely little four year old girl, big round eyes and her hair tied up in a ponytail coming up the small hill.

This little girl was Lucas sister, Annie, "Big brother, dad and mom are looking for you "Annie shouted in hopes that Lucas would hear her.

"Dad and mom are looking for me?" Lucas asked when Annie finally came into view.

"Yes, hurry let's go back, if we are late, mom and dad would spank your backside!"

When Lucas heard this , he smiled and squeezed Annie's cheeks before replying, "let's go then" as he made his escape from Annie who chased after him, screaming in protest because she always told Lucas not to pinch her cheeks anymore.

The siblings frolicked all the way down the hill till they got back to their little courtyard situated at the foot hills.

Although he was already eighteen in his previous life, being with his sister brought out the child in him.

When they arrived at their courtyard, they both went inside, immediately he got inside, he met a middle aged man in his mid thirties and next to him was a pretty woman. This married couple were Lucas's parents, Liam and Sasha.

"Dad, Mom, you were looking for me?"

"Where did you run off to so early in the morning" Liam raised his sharp sword like brows

"Its fine, don't frighten the child" Sasha interjected with a smile, "Luca, in a few days you will be seven years old, it's about time to awaken the Mana spirit in your body. Your father and I are planning to bring you over to the spirit Hall for the awakening ceremony.

Mana spirit awakening? Lucas blanked for a moment

In this world, humans have an existence termed as Mana spirits in their body. Mana spirits were rated from one to ten and within each grade, they were considered low , average and high. Mana spirit rated one to three were referred to as D rank Mana spirit, four to six were C rank and seven to nine B rank, Mana spirit rated ten was referred to as A rank and above ten were referred to as S rank, The higher the talent, the more the body absorbs the world's Mana and become a strong warrior.

Nevertheless, people who were born without Mana spirits or crippled Mana spirits were labeled as wastes.

Mana spirits................A light flashed in Lucas's eyes for he too wanted to know if he possessed any Mana spirit in his body and if he does what Mana spirit would it be.

Thus, Lucas was led by Liam and Sasha, to the Spirit Hall of Lance village.

When they arrived at the outer area of the spirit Hall, it was already packed with people waiting with their children wanting to awaken Mana spirits, other than Lucas, there were also children from Lance village who were present.

Lance village is a small village inside flame empire with no less than one thousand inhabitants. Lance village is located inside Azure city, Azure city is one of the many cities in flame country.

All cities have a king but the overall ruler of flame country is the countries emperor, and all Kings of each city pales in comparison to the Emperor of flame country, not just in fame, but also in individual power.

An imposing middle aged man stood guard in the front of the huge door which lead to the Spirit Hall, only one person was allowed to enter the spirit Hall at a time, when they awaken their Mana spirit, they would exit the hall and someone else would go in , anyone who spends more than ten minutes in the hall would be immediately fetched by the guard, that was the rule.

All the children stood in line waiting their turn, some who came out were seen with bright smiles on their faces while others were disappointed.

It was finally Lucas's turn to go in the Spirit Hall, he pushed the door of the spirit Hall open and immediately he stepped inside, apart from a bright hexagonal pattern which formed a beam of light there was nothing else present in the hall.

He wasn't curious about the hexagonal beam of light that laid in the center of the hall, because he was already told by his parents on their way coming to the Spirit Hall that he would see the hexagonal beam of light in the middle of the hall and all he needed to do was touch this beam of light and his Mana spirit would slowly form in the beam of light.

He did as he was told and when he touched the beam of light , something began forming inside the beam of light.

After a while, it finally formed, and what he saw in the beam of light was a sword, a sword with skulls imprinted on it, his Mana spirit was the death slasher, a Mana spirit that was graded eight, a high grade eight Mana spirit, he was so filled with joy that he almost let out a cheerful scream.

But he immediately stopped when he saw the sword slowly taking the form of something else, something he had never seen before, it changed into a black ghost.

When Lucas was only age one, he could already read and understand their language, so he would secretly read some of his parents books.

He has read many books about Mana spirits , this included their types, their abilities their grades and other important factors about Mana spirits.

Although most children his age had some knowledge of Mana spirits, but their knowledge all paled in comparison to his.

With all the knowledge he had, he still didn't know what type of Mana spirit he was currently looking at .

After wondering for some seconds, it finally dawned on him, the most important fact he had ignored due to the strange Mana spirit he just saw was that he had twin Mana spirits.

People with twin Mana spirits in the whole of star continent could be counted on one hand.

Star continent had more than a hundred countries in it and each countries had up to two hundred cities, with the least being one hundred.

In this world, there existed four continents, star continent which was inhabited by humans, green continent which were ruled by elevs, rock continent, the home of dwarves and finally dark continent home to demons.

Amongst these four continents, star continent has always been weaker while Dark continent was always at the top.

This was because of star continent's lack of high talent warriors.

Lucas finally left the hall, after exiting the hall, he met up with his parents and they went home, they were both anxious to see what their sons Mana spirit was.

On their arrival at their little courtyard, they went inside and immediately Sasha asked Lucas with a curious but excited look,

"So, son, show us your Mana spirit!"

Lucas did as he was told and then he summoned out his Mana spirit.

Shock could be seen on both Liam's and Sasha's face,

"Death slasher, a high grade eight Mana spirit" Liam said with shock evident in his tone like he couldn't believe what he was seeing.

Lucas decided not to show them his other Mana spirit, because it might be dangerous if others knew about it.

Although Mana spirit can't be transferred, this was a different case for someone with twin Mana spirit, if transferred it would significantly boost the new host's strength but this would only happen once, after that, the Mana spirit would become destroyed. Leaving it in the original host's body would be a better scenario due to the fact that it's benefits would be much greater than if it were to be transferred.

His death from his previous life taught him a valuable lesson, 'no matter your strength, you must always be careful'.

Seeing the shock in their faces, he began wondering what their reaction would be if he actually revealed his other Mana spirit.

"Since you awakened your Mana spirit, you can finally enroll into light academy!" Sasha said with excitement in her tone, at this moment, she sounded like a little kid that was exited about opening a present, screaming for absolutely no reason .

Light academy was a place where all children his age in Lance village who newly awakened their Mana spirit went to learn how to fight and use their Mana spirit.

Light academy had an annual event where all students of the 1st year class and the second year class would fight to see who was the best in their class.

The third year students would also fight but not to figure out who was best in their class, but who was best in the overall school.

The winner of the third year class would then be sent to represent their entire village in the imperial city competition which was hosted by the Azure city, and if they won, not just them but their entire village would be rewarded.

Hearing that he would soon enroll into light academy shocked Lucas, because he just realized that he would once again start the competition for power, his normal peaceful life was over.

Just like that a week passed and Lucas soon found himself in the front Gates of light academy with his parents.

The term had just started and it was time for registrations.

They walked in through the gates and what came into their view the large amount of people present in the grounds of the academy, both parents and children his age where gathered together, all awaiting their turn for registration.

Time slowly passed, and children were still getting their Mana spirits checked.

It was finally Lucas's turn and when he released Mana spirit, the square of gathered people fell into an awful silence.

"A grade eight Mana spirit!", "I can't believe it"

These were the words that came out of their mouths when they began talking again.

Even the administrator was shocked, to the extent that it felt like his jaw was going to fall off seeing the high grade eight Mana spirit, 'Death slasher'.

"We get it!, You have a grade eight Mana spirit" an arrogant voice said as it came closer to Lucas

"Now step aside so we can all register and go home" the arrogant voice said again as it finally arrived near Lucas.

"It's the young lord!" Whispers could be heard from the background

"Oh, it's you Elijah" Lucas said with a touch of disdain lingering in his tone

Among all the children present for registration, only Lucas dare call Elijah by his name, but not because they were close, but because they hated each other.

The reason for Lucas and Elijah's hate was because of their past.

When Lucas was still five, he found Elijah bullying a kid around their age, so he rescued the kid from Elijah's hands by bitting up Elijah.

To his surprise, after saving the kid, he didn't get any thanks, but instead the kid blamed him and said his family was going to suffer because Lucas saved him.

The reason was because Elijah is the rulers son. Lance village had a ruler, and that ruler was the strongest person in the whole village. Almost everything he said goes in the village and no one dared disobey his orders.

Knowing the amount of power Elijah's father had in the village, Elijah could do anything he wanted and no one would stop him from doing it.

All except Lucas, after that day Elijah got beat up by Lucas, he had loathed Lucas, although he didn't tell his dad that he got beat up by Lucas due to the hate he had for Lucas, he planned on crippling him in the annual class competition.

"Just because you have a grade eight Mana spirit, you think you're above everyone here, step aside let me show you what real talent is" just as Elijah said this, he released his Mana spirit and to everyone's surprise, it was demon fang, a grade ten Mana spirit.

Mana spirits came in different forms, some in weapon forms others in beast forms while some even come in the form of natural things like mountains or oceans.

Elijah's Mana spirit, demon fang is a beast type Mana spirit, it has the appearance of a bat, a giant bat with long fangs.

"Grade ten Mana spirit!", "It's really a grade ten Mana spirit" everyone present began saying,

Even Lucas was surprised seeing the grade ten Mana spirit, demon fang.

While everyone was still focused at the grade ten Mana spirit before them, a man who looked like he was in his fifties suddenly approached Elijah.

"pri pri principal!" The administrator suddenly shouted as he quickly stood up from his chair and bowed in respect.

"It's the principal!", "I can't believe I'm seeing him in person" the children in the surroundings began saying

'But why is he hear in person?' This was the question that were in all of their heads.

"How would you like to be my disciple?"the principal said as he approached Elijah

"Disciple?", "The principal has never asked anyone to be his disciple before" whispers could be heard as the children began talking within themselves.

In the whole of light academy's twenty five years history, no one has ever had a grade ten Mana spirit before, so the principal asking Elijah to be his disciple was to be expected.

"Disciple greets master" Elijah quickly said as he bowed his head and greeted the principal,

The principal smiled hearing Elijah's response, "come with me Elijah" he said as he gestured Elijah to follow him using his hands.

In the whole of Lance village, the principal can be said to be the only one who can rival Elijah's dad in terms of strength, and is even beyond Elijah's dad in terms of wisdom, so when this opportunity came, Elijah quickly grabbed it.

Before Elijah left with the principal, he sent a quick smirk at Lucas who was staring at everything that just happened.

"A grade ten Mana spirit and the disciple of the principal, we already know who's winning the first year class competition" Lucas heard someone said from the crowd of children that were gathered in the academy square watching everything that just happened, and he secretly smiled to himself. And then he whispered something so low that not even someone who was right in front of him could hear.

The truth about twin Mana spirits is, a person with grade five twin Mana spirits can be comparable to someone with a grade ten Mana spirit, so if he had twin grade eight Mana spirits, he could be compared to those with S rank Mana spirit, but in his case he had a grade eight and and an unknown Mana spirit and with the aura his other Mana spirit emanated when it formed, it already surpassed that of the grade ten Mana spirit demon fang, so no matter the help Elijah got from anyone, Lucas knew that he would always surpass Elijah.

After Elijah, no one else had a grade ten Mana spirit, although a boy named grey had a grade eight Mana spirit like Lucas, but it was an average grade eight Mana spirit while Lucas had a high grade eight Mana spirit.

Everyone else had grade six and seven Mana spirits and some had grade five.

The day went by smoothly and a total of sixty students were admitted into light academy's 1st year class.

They were told to resume school the next day and they all met up with their parents who were waiting for them in the waiting area of the academy.

Night slowly passed and the it was replaced by the first rays of sunshine, it was Lucas's first day as a first class student in Light academy.

There was a total of eight classes in light academy, the first year had three classes, the second year also had three while the third year had only two, the reason being the requirements to get into the third year was too hard to fulfill, so the classes were not as many as that of the first and second year.

Lucas's was in first year class two, and so was Elijah, but Lucas didn't know this yet.

Going through the gates of light academy, Lucas went into his class and got a seat at the back.

Not too long after he came into the class, Elijah walked in too with three people following him, among these three, Lucas recognized one to be grey, the person who also had a grade eight Mana spirit like him, he didn't know who the remaining two people were but he was sure that their Mana spirits weren't low.

Elijah and his goons sat down at the middle row, but when he noticed Lucas, he sent him a cold glare and then he took his seat.

Their class master walked into the class and then he introduced himself, he was a man in his thirties and his name was Rick.

"Our lesson for today is going to be converting spiritual energy into Mana core" Rick paused to see everyone's reaction before he continued " converting spiritual energy into Mana core is the first step to becoming a warrior , without converting spiritual energy to Mana core, it is impossible for one to become a strong warrior, converting spiritual energy to Mana core can only become possible after one awakens their Mana spirit, those with high grade Mana spirits take less time to convert spiritual energy to Mana than those with lower grade Mana spirits, taking myself as example, I have a grade seven Mana spirit and it took me two months to convert spiritual energy into Mana core, but if someone with a grade ten Mana spirit were to try this, it would take them one to two weeks" just as Rick said this, loud gasps began coming out of the children's mouths as their attention turned towards Elijah, " when spiritual energy is converted into Mana core, then one can start cultivating, when successful in turning spiritual energy into Mana core the next step of becoming a warrior would be reaching first order of the white Mana core, there are ten orders in the white Mana core, if one can successfully convert spiritual energy into Mana core, then your next goal would be to breakthrough into first order and after breaking through into first order, only then can you get your first battle skill from your Mana spirit, the higher your Mana spirit grade, the stronger your battle skill, not only this, breaking through into first order also means one would be able to get their Mana spirit ability, unlike battle skills which would be gotten again after reaching fifth order of the white core, Mana spirit ability can only be gotten once, all Mana spirits have their own different ability, mine is strengthening, thanks to my Mana spirit, I have the ability to strengthen my attacks and also myself, let me demonstrate" Rick said as he left were he was standing and got close to a wall.

He punched the wall and left a fist sized hole where he punched.

Shock could be seen on everyone's faces as they saw the fist sized hole left by Rick on the wall, in their world this was a small feat to accomplish, even someone at first order of the white core could accomplish this, but what actually shocked them was that Rick didn't apply Mana to his hands before doing this, this was pure physical strength, if a first order wanted to accomplish this feat, they had to apply Mana in their hands before punching the wall.

After seeing their faces, with a satisfied look on his face he continued, "this is a demonstration of what Mana spirit ability is" Rick finally concluded.

After that demonstration, Rick continued his teachings.

After seeing that demonstration, Lucas finally came to a conclusion, although people in this world were stronger than people in his former world, in terms of physical strength, they weren't.

That night, when Lucas started his cultivation, not more than an hour passed before he was finally able to convert spiritual energy into Mana core.

Even for people with S rank Mana spirit grade, this was not possible, it would at least take them a day.

The only reason Lucas was able to do this was because he had been converting spiritual energy into Mana core ever since he was two, although Rick said it was impossible to convert spiritual energy into Mana core when one had not awakened their Mana spirit, Lucas found a way to do it, although he wasn't able to fully accomplish it when he had not awakened his Mana spirit ,but now that he had his Mana spirits with him, he could finally convert spiritual energy into Mana core at a faster pace.

Knowing that he had succeeded in converting spiritual energy into Mana core, he began overflowed with joy, but he hadn't accomplished his actual goal yet, and that was breaking through into the first order of the white core.

With his speed, he estimated that he would breakthrough into first order in the following two days.

With the speed Mana was being taken into his body, he finally understood what kind of terrifying talent he had.

Even someone with grade ten Mana spirit would need at least a month in order to breakthrough into first order after converting spiritual energy into Mana core, but he needed only two days.

Time slowly went by and in the blink of an eye, a day had passed.

Lucas didn't do anything important, except going to the academy and when he came back, he would cultivate.

The next day, after coming back from the academy, he went straight to cultivating.

After some hours of cultivating, Lucas's Mana core which was a shade of gold and white finally turned into complete white, at this moment, he knew that he had broken through into the first order.

"Finally, first order of the white core!" Lucas said to no one in particular.

The joy Lucas was feeling at this moment was more than what he felt when he finally converted spiritual energy into Mana core.

The reason was because reaching the first order came with so many benefits, like his first battle skill and his Mana spirit ability, in Lucas's case, since he had twin Mana spirits, that means he would also have two abilities from his two Mana spirits.

Lucas had finally reached the first order of the white core, not wasting time on other things, he quickly released his Mana spirit, death slasher, and immediately it was released, memories from the sword began flowing into his mind.

He concentrated on the memories he saw and after some seconds, he stood up.

He took the death slasher sword which has been hovering behind him all this while and walked up to a tree.

He channelled his Mana from his Mana core, through the Mana channels in his body and to his arms, when they arrived at his arms he released them into his sword and with a slight flick of his wrist, he swung the death slasher sword at the tree he had previously walked up to.

With one swing of his sword, a sharp beam of black Mana was sent at the tree, immediately the beam came in contact with the tree, it left a clean slice on the tree and after some seconds, the tree was separated into two with the upper part of the tree being on the ground, and the lower part was still rooted to the ground.

This was his first battle skill, 'DEATH SLASH ' , with just one flick of his wrist, he had the power to divide a tree into two parts, he checked his Mana core and saw that the Mana which was gathered in his core had reduced, and with just one thought it went back to normal, it was like he didn't use any Mana from his core.

This was the ability he got from death slasher, 'instant recovery ', as of now, it only affected his Mana supply but if he continued to increase his strength, he would also be able to cure physical injuries.

Feeling satisfied of both his battle skill and Mana spirit ability, he moved on to his next course, which was finding out what battle skill and Mana spirit ability he got from the black ghost.

He released his black ghost and instead of seeing memories of his battle skill and Mana spirit ability, he was transported into another space.

Lucas looked around and in this space everything was completely white, but something finally caught his attention.

He walked up to the only thing that was black in this white dimension, and when he was close enough to find out what it was, he came face to face with a corpse.

Although he was shocked at first, but after observing the corpse for some minutes, he was sure that it had no life in it.

Not knowing what he was supposed to do, he touched the corpse and a word suddenly flowed into his mind,

"Arise?" Immediately he voiced this word out , the corpse which showed no ounce of life snapped opened it's eyes.

After this was done, a strong force pushed Lucas out of the white dimension, he snapped opened his eyes and began breathing heavily as realisation showed in his eyes, he finally understood his powers.

"Come out!" as soon as Lucas said this, a form began to appear out of thin air, but it wasn't a corpse, it was a person,

"Servant greets sovereign" the man said as he knelt down and bowed his head in respect.

"From now on, your name is Nick" Lucas said and after a slight pause he continued, " Nick, what level of cultivation are you at now?" Lucas asked his new summon out of curiosity.

The black ghost was a necromancer type of Mana spirit, it's first battle skill was to summon a servant who was for ever loyal to Lucas .

As his cultivation rises, and he gets his second battle skill, he would be able to summon more than one servant and continue to build his army, but as of now, due to his cultivation only being at first order of the white core, he could only summon one servant.

His summons took the appearance of humans after they were awakened, that was why his current summon Nick was in the form of a human and not a corpse like it was in the white dimension.

"Servant is only at the tenth order of the white core" Nick replied Lucas with respect sounding in his every word.

"Tenth order!", Lucas voiced in shock, the reason being that in their village, someone at tenth order could be considered as a powerful figure, Elijah's dad, the so called strongest person in their village was only at first order of the silver core.

In this world, the white core was the first stage of becoming a warrior, after reaching tenth order of the white core, the next step would be to breakthrough into the silver core, Breaking through into the first order of silver core requires talent, most people with grade six Mana spirit get stuck at tenth order and never breakthrough their whole life.

In this world, the normal age someone reaches before dieing is hundred, but if one can successfully breakthrough into the silver core, another hundred years life span is added to their life making people who had broken through to silver core able to live for up to two hundred years, and the best part being that their appearance when they are at hundred would look like someone who was in their late thirties.

Being at tenth order of the white core was actually a big deal, although the difference between someone in tenth order of the white core and first order of the silver core was like heaven and Earth, reaching tenth order itself was a big deal and it could even take someone with grade six Mana spirit fifty years of cultivation in order to reach the tenth order of the silver core.

After getting over his surprise, Lucas decided to test something out, in the blink of he had disappeared into thin air and it was like he was never there,

"Nick, can you see me?" A voice asked and Nick who worry was already visible in his face finally relaxed as he heard his master's voice.

"No sovereign" Nick replied Lucas and then Lucas's form appeared out of nowhere.

'good, even a tenth order couldn't sense my presence when I use this ability' Lucas thought to himself.

This was Lucas's second ability, the one he got from his other Mana spirit, the unknown black ghost, 'invisibility' he had the ability to become visible and invisible at will, feeling satisfied about his Mana spirit abilities,' instant recovery and invisibility ' he finally went back to his cultivation.

Four months slowly passed and nothing important happened, it was filled with Lucas going to the academy and when he came back he would cultivate.

During these four months, Lucas had successfully broken through into the third order of the white core, in this world, breaking through to third order from first order in a span of one month was actually a big feat that can only be achieved by people who have S rank Mana spirits, the only way someone with a grade ten Mana spirit can achieve this is if they used a spirit pellet.

Spirit pellet are like drugs, they are taken either to cure an illness, to heal an injury or to help in someone's cultivation, there are also some spirit pellet which boosts someone's life span but they are under rank A spirit pellets.

Just like Mana spirits, spirit pellets are also in ranks, there are five ranks in general and they are, rank D, rank C, rank B, rank A and rank S, the higher their rank, the more effective they are.

Spirit pellets are very expensive and can only be refined by master alchemists, a rank C spirit pellet can go for the price of ten thousand gold coins, and in this world, ten thousand gold coins is enough to feed a normal family for a decade.

Lucas was currently in class two of year one sitting in his usual sit and patiently waiting for their class master Rick to arrive, and he couldn't help but listen to what a girl was telling her friend who was sitting beside him.

"Did you hear, Elijah just broke through to second order"

"Under four months!, He's so talented" ............

After hearing this, Lucas stopped listening to them, he had already heard enough.

After waiting for some more minutes, Rick finally walked in the class, he wore a smile on his face and then he said,

"Good news class, today we are having a mock class battle in the square". After this was said, the once noisy class immediately turned silent as no one knew how to react.

Class two soon gathered in the square of light academy, most were filled with anxiety because if others found out that they had yet to breakthrough to the first order, they would immediately be looked down on while the rest were proud of their strength and happy that they would finally get the fame they deserved.

The principal was also present because he wanted to see his only disciple in action and who would be strong enough to take one blow from him.

The mock fight had finally begun and the first two opponents were Elijah and a kid named Peter.

There were two ways of winning the fight, the first one is winning when your opponent surrenders and the second is winning by knockout.

The battle soon began, Peter was just a first order so going against someone who was in second order was like committing suicide, but even though he knew this, he still called out his Mana spirit, immediately he called out his Mana spirit, green Mana began to materialise into the shape of a fist and this Mana fist was sent at Elijah.

Peter's Mana spirit was a horned beast, a horned beast had the appearance of a panda with a horn on it's fore head and it was a high grade seven Mana spirit, the battle skill he just used was called beast fist and it was a very powerful battle skill that was very high in it's offensive power.

Just as the fist was about to come into contact with Elijah's face, Elijah leaped up and the fist missed it's target .

Still in the sky, black spikes began to form behind Elijah, and they were sent towards Peter.

Peter could only stare at the black spikes that were coming straight to him, they were too fast to dodge and too many to counter, he could only watch as they came closer to him.

When Elijah landed, the first spike also landed on it's target, Peter's left leg and then the second one landed on Peter's right leg and then the third landed on Peter's right arm, after the third one landed, the rest spikes dispersed into nothing.

Elijah could have easily stopped the other spikes from hitting Peter, but he choose to let the second and third spike hit Peter before he completely dispersed everything.

Tears rolled down Peter's eyes due to the pain he was feeling at the moment, because no matter how anyone saw it, Peter was just a seven year old kid, just like all the other children present in the square.

Elijah turned to face the principal and the principal smiled at him.

"The winner of this match is Elijah!" Rick said with a frown on his face, due to Elijah's act, he was supposed to be suspended, but since he was the principal's only disciple, he couldn't do anything.

The next round soon began , and the opponents were Elijah, the winner of the previous round and Lucas............
