I was only 7 when I lost my mom. She died due to heart cancer. I was really sad, for a 7 years old girl I was too naive to know all those things.

I couldn't forget the day when I saw her dead body, I tried to call her but she never opened her eyes.

I don't know who my dad is. Mom told me that he left the world far before, when I was just born. He used to work in an army. He sacrificed his life for our country. Whenever mom used to talk about him, I felt proud to be his daughter.

Now what? I thought I was alone in this world but I was not. I had my elder sister. From the beginning, she was a sharp student and she is enhanced her studies further and became a successful scientists.

Our life suddenly changed. Everything became normal again. She is my everything. We left our childhood village and settled in the city where my dad once made a pretty house for my mom and us.

I passed my school, then I went to college. I had two best friends. One since kindergarten and I made my first boy best friend in class 2.

And they are the best friends ever~

     I saw a ray of hope in my life. I decided to go with the flow. Time taught me everything. I decided to forget my past.

From the beginning I was fond of nature. I love the beauty of alluring environment. I hate when I don't know something. I want to explore everything. I want to feel Everything. Life is only meant to enjoy it to the fullest.

I had everything and it was more than enough. But as you know, I never thought about boys in my life. No I don't want anyone . What if they snatch my happiness?

It's not that I never fell for anyone. I also had a crush on my best friend but there is a reason why we didn't change our friendship into relationship. He is the only person after my sister who understands me better than anyone. He can listen to my heart and he was always there for me.

My days in high school were going perfect and there is nothing more I want to expect.

"Hello.." I said

"WHAT THE F*CK ARE YOU DOING, YOU BI**H?! IT'S ALREADY 9! FORGET IT, YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT THE ASSIGNMENT TODAY-" She shouted. And used the most inappropriate words .

Is she planning to make me deaf?

Her swearing will definitely turn my day into my worst nightmare..ugh!

"Yea- Wait! What?! " I woke up at the speed of light. My heart skipped a beat.

"A-assignment?" I gulped in fear as I heard her yelling at me.

Oh shit! I almost forgot that today is the s day of submitting and I'm the last one to submit it!

I hung up while she was still babbling about the assignment. I slid down from the pink bed and rubbed my feet on the pink mattress. I opened the bathroom door and looked at the pink furniture.

Hey, it isn't my favourite colour! I hate it, but my parents thought that "maybe girls like pink". I feels like puking from seeing this much pink early in the morning.

It's just so childish, my friends even make fun of me saying that I'm girly! I'm not! No no no!

Assignment ?

My inner soul said! This b**th spoils my mood everytime! I took a bath within 2 hours and dressed up in a short black skirt.

"Yeah! Devil in the princess's room!" I jumped in front of the mirror and laughed.

"Hazel! It's 11:30! Are you planning to miss the college?" A harsh sound came from downstairs.

I quickly applied cheery colour lip balm and packed my assignment and some books and ran downstairs.

"You will surely eat my head one day" The pretty lady did a facepalm as I nervously smiled.

Ouch! I slipped from the stairs!

"Ah!" I fell down.

"Useless!" She mumbled.

"Hey, I got hurt! Do you even care?" I shouted while crying.

"Don't worry, no one breaks an arm by falling from one step" She passed me a glare.

"What type of sister are you? Your little one is hurt and you are still saying all that nonsense?" I pouted.

She ignored me and started serving the breakfast.

Well, I should stop this drama now. I stood up and sat on the breakfast table.

"So what's for breakfast, Miss Violet Adley?" I smiled.

"Nalesniki and Scotch eggs" She smiled.

"Yay!" I shouted in excitement and started having my food. She is best at cooking while I'm just the opposite.

"What the hell are you thinking about from so long? Aren't you going to the college today?" Violet asked.

"No-nothing" I hurriedly stuffed the food in my mouth and gulped some water.

I checked my phone and it was from Austin.

Me: I'm so sorry, I'm coming right now!

Austin: I guess, you set out from home?

Me: ^^; not yet..but I will be right there in 20 minutes.

Austin: *sigh* Be quick or else we can't save you from detention.

I slid the phone back into my pocket and washed my hands.

"Sis I'm leaving! Bye!" I shouted and was about to go out when she called me.

"Wait! Keep these keys with you." She handed me the house's keys.

"Are you going somewhere?" I asked in a cold tone.

"Oh, didn't I tell you?"

"No"

"Seems like I forgot! I'm going to stay out for a week for my research" She replied.

Did I said that she researches on a disgusting species called Fish? Ugh! I hate fish!

"And you didn't even care to tell me?" I asked.

"I forgot-"

"How can you forget something so important just like that? Am I useless you to? Don't you love me? " I shouted as tears escaped from my eyes.

I can't tolerate this any more. She stays out for weeks, comes back late at night and doesn't even have the time to talk to me. I hate loneliness.

"Why are you getting so angry because of such a small matter?" Violet asked.

"Small matter? Is this a small matter to you?" I shouted. "Do you know how much it hurts to stay alone? My mom and dad left me, I thought that you are my family and that you will stay with me. I don't want you to leave me like them"

She didn't say anything but pulled me into a hug. I heard her warm breath on my neck. She was silently crying. I know that I hurt her, I shouldn't have said that . Of course, she is only earning for me. She loves me more than anything.

"I'm sorry, I was so busy that I didn't notice how you felt." She said slowly.

"It's my fault, I'm not a good sister "

Hey, now it hurts even more! You are the best sister ever. You fulfilled my every desire. But I'm selfish, for me you sacrificed your freedom, your love life, your everything...just for me.

"Don't cry, I yelled at you for my silly reasons. I'm sorry." I smiled gently.

"It's okay, the conclusion is that we both are guilty" She said as we laughed .

"Here, this is the first set of keys and I'm going to give other one to Mrs. Willson" Violet smiled.

Ugh! I hate that lady. I once met her in my mother's funeral. She is a nice person and was my mom's best friend.

She took care of me for a week and I won't say that she is too pretty. But I hate her because she is too talkative.

I still remember that one time when she called me and wasted my one hour.

She has a nice heart and a nice family, though I never went to her house. She still has a very good relationship with us and I guess her house is 10 minutes from here by car.

"You are again lost in your own world?" Violet's voice shocked me.

"Hey, why do you need to give the keys to her?" I pouted.

"I don't believe you, what if you lost the keys?" She smirked.

"I'm not a child" I averted my eyes.

"Miss Hazel, I guess you have to go to a place called college?" She whispered in my ears.

"Oh no!" I rushed outside with my bag as she laughed.

I can't take the car because she will be leaving today. ****! I have to wait for the bus now!

Very good, after 5 minutes the bus came and I went inside it.

God! That old chimpanzee is going to kill me today! Please save me, I don't want to get detention!

I was continuosly praying to God when the bus stopped. I came out and rushed inside the college with all my speed.

Suddenly, I heard a cracking sound as if something broke. I stopped at once and was about to looked behind when someone pulled my arm and pushed me on the wall.

"Ouch! It's hurts man-" I froze and looked at the guy.

I know what you all are thinking. You are thinking that it must be the famous guy of the college and he is a basketball player and he is the hottest boy alive...and all that nonsense.

Sad to say, you all are right.

"Mr. K-Kevin" I gulped in fear. I have never been so close to a guy except Austin.

"What do you think you are?, huh?" He gritted his teeth.

My pupils widened. I..broke the famous guy's i-phone! I looked at the poor device, lying on the floor in a critical situation.

Yes, he is in the third year. There's no one in this college who doesn't know him, but I must say that he is a pervert.

It was a nice opportunity for me, I pushed him and ran upstairs.

I am not that kind of girl that I'll slap the hottest boy. I don't want to risk my peaceful life. It's all that bitch's fault, her inappropriate messages just destroyed my day completely.

I know what's coming for me, he is not going to leave me so easily. Hazel, be prepared for the punishment.

I rushed inside the classroom. The old asshole looked at me through his glasses and smiled.

"Welcome Hazel, I'm happy with your assignments" he smiled which shocked me.

I looked at Emi and Austin who were giving me the most sweet smiles.

The teacher left the room with my assignment which I saw him holding in his hand. I went to my friends and asked them how they managed it.

"Actually, Lily mistakenly took your assignment and you have her previous assignment." Austin said.

I looked at Lily, the brilliant student of the class and hugged her "Thanks Lily, you just saved me from that a**- teacher"

"It's okay, today is your lucky day." She smiled.

I took my seat with my palm resting on my face.

"What happened?"Emilia asked.

I looked at her angrily and punched her "You b***h, you ruined my peaceful life. Now he will kill me!" I cried.

"Ouch! Why? What happened?" She asked, keeping a hand at her chest .

I told them the entire story and Emi nearly fell from her seat. She stood up and grabbed my collar.

"You were with the hottest guy of our college?! You two were too near?!" She shouted, focussing on the 'too'.

We all have that best friend who is a pervert and busy in giving sh**ty love tips.

I feel so lame in all this, it feels just like those romantic novels. Wait! Romantic? There is nothing romantic going on here! I hate that guy! Well, I'm afraid of him too.

"Answer me! How can you be so lucky?!" She shouted. I pushed her and sat down crying.

"Why are you crying?" Austin asked, caressing my hair.

I hugged him tightly and started crying "Now he won't leave me alone! Will he kill me?"

"How dumb can you be?" They burst into laughter. I slapped Austin for his behaviour and sat down with teary eyes.

"Sorry, but you're too naive. Why will he kill you?" Austin laughed.

"Well, if it's about Kevin then I can't say anything" Emilia said.

"What do you mean?" I asked. She went near the green board and scribbled something with the chalk.

I gulped as I read the last line. The class soon started, my heart was beating so fast I thought it was doing salsa inside my body. My life is going to turn into a living nightmare. He is surely the devil. How will I save myself from him?

"Where is your attention? I am calling you from so long." The teacher shouted.

What are they? Aren't they my best friends? I'm dying here and they are enjoying it? Shall I give you both some snacks to eat while you're entertaining yourselves through my suffering?

The class ended and it was finally recess.

I peeped outside the class and found that the path is clear.

"What are you doing?" I head a voice and my breath caught in my throat. I slowly turned back and found Austin and Emilia.

"Oh, it's you" I sighed "I have to hide from senior. If he finds me then I'm gone"

"He may come to find you in the class. It's better if you go to the cafeteria." Emilia suggested. She is right. I can do anything to save my life. Dude, I love myself (not more than my sister >♥<)

I looked here and there and we went out of the class. I reached the cafeteria and saw him.

I hid behind the wall and looked at him talking to a girl.

I looked at him carefully then my sight fell on the girl. It wasn't a girl, it was a lady.

Seriously? He is flirting with the teacher and she seems to be enjoying very much. What will happen to these kind of people?

Now my heart was racing faster than a cheetah.

I didn't dare open my eyes. I'm sure that I'm going to lose my precious blood today. And that he will kill me and dump my body in the river.

Yeah! My life is pretty fu**ed up and I can still hear his breath, it's just heart warming.

I love vampires and werewolves but... there's a reason why I suddenly became afraid of them.

"Miss Adley?" I heard the physics teacher calling me.

I left the cafeteria and directly went to my class and found Austin and Emilia laughing. I went to them and sat on my bench sorrowfully.

"Just be like this and tell me why are you so worried and what happened?" He smiled. I looked at Emilia who was continuosly smirking. I know she was kidding and there's a very important reason for that *whispers* I'm gonna tell that later.

"Well..he pushed me on the wall and was about to suck my blood but because of Mr Baker, I was saved." I replied.

"F*ck that damn teacher! He just spoiled the scene" Emi said and received a punch from me as Austin laughed.

"Why do you think he is a Vampire?" He asked.

"Because-"

"Let me tell you" Emilia said "Miss Hazel, what did you do yesterday?"

"Huh? "

"What did you do the whole Sunday at home?"

"Well, I was completing the assignments" I replied. What she is exactly trying to figure out?

"Then I had my lunch then I watched a movie then-"

"Stop" Emi jumped "What movie?"

"I see, Vampires..." Austin nodded.

What? Are they thinking that I became mad for watching Vampire movies? What the-?

"What did you do after that?" Emilia asked.

"Why do you care? You all are very bad!" I pouted. Austin was still hugging me. Uwa, I'm so jealous of his crush! Sorry, just kidding :p

"Hey! Don't be angry, Baby. " Austin caressed my hair gently.

"Ok, what did you do the night after studies?" Emilia again poked her nose.

"I was reading a story"

"Again vampire?" She smirked and I nodded.

"Hazel" She put her hand on my shoulder and gave me an concerned look "You need rest. You are just imagining things because of reading about vampires"

"It's not that...I have another reason" I said, slowly.

"What's that?" Austin asked.

"Who are you?" I asked, as I found myself in a castle.

"Welcome my princess, I'm your prince" the handsome guy smiled.

"Omg!! Prince?!" I jumped with joy and hugged him tightly.

He smirked and knelt down "Yes, my princess"

Then suddenly everything turned black .

"I can't see a thing" I shouted "Mr. Prince? are you there?" .

Suddenly I noticed a guy standing and he had...fangs

"Mr. P-prince?"

"Yes, your vampire prince!" He laughed, evilly

I was about to open my mouth but he did it first and bit my neck.

"Agg- it's hurting" I moaned as he drank my blood. I felt my blood draining with each passing second. He picked me up and threw me in the water and I died.

"No! I didn't want that to happen in real!" I cried.

"It's a serious matter" Austin said, as they both started laughing. "Hazel, you are seriously too naive. *Laughs* You should splash water on your face *laughs* don't take too much stress"

I passed him a glare and went to the washroom. He is right, I am taking too much stress.

I splashed water on my face and came out. I'm feeling fresh now. Wait- was I thinking Senior as a vampire?!

"What?! I'm such a dumbo!" I laughed at myself. I am never like a crybaby in front of anyone but what happened to me today? 

Maybe because I was too depressed with sis and I was skipping my sleep nowadays.

"I'm shocked, how can you talk to me like that after breaking my phone?" He said, and I noticed anger in his eyes

S*it! Now I have to waste my pocket money for his damn phone! I'll surely kill that Emi!

"I'll buy you a new phone" I said, this time my voice became a little down.

"Who do you think you are? That I'll take money from you to buy a phone?!" He said and the anger in his eyes made me a little worried.

Very well! Congrats Hazel! First of all, you behave like a coward then you become too optimistic that you finally make the Prince angry. Wait-! Prince? Nah, he is the devil here!

It has become a habit to behave weird in front of an important person then end up feeling embarassed with myself and then...start kicking my poor teddy.

"I still didn't get my answer!" Kevin said. He was looking straight into my eyes.

"I-I am sorry, senior. But I'm not feeling very comfortable." I said.

"So what can I do? You have to pay for what you have done."

"You can." He came closer to me and whispered "Spend the night with me."

"Excuse me!" I was a little taken aback "Are you out of your mind?"

"This is what you can do to make yourself regret. You should know what happens when we try to trick the Devil" He smirked.

Now he is considering himself as the devil? Woah~ Woah~

"I am getting late for the next class" I was about to run but he held my hand and back hugged me.

My heart skipped a beat. First time a guy hugged me except Austin. I couldn't say that he is the actual devil because his hug is really heart warming. He gives me the exact feeling as that of my teddy, he is too soft.

"Hey, what's your name?" He trailed his finger across my face, giving me a slightly different feeling but I won't say it was the sign of something good. I landed on myself from my dream world and pushed him.

"W-what are you d-doing?" I asked.

"You should get addicted by this as tonight-"

"I'm not going to sleep with you!" I shouted as he started laughing.

"You are really taking it in that way? Who's gonna sleep with you? You are so ugly that I would rather puke before touching you" he laughed.

Now it hurts my ego! And if that's so, then what's the need of sticking with me, hopeless pervert!"

I didn't say anything and ran to my class, I turned back once and found him smirking at me. He didn't stop me so I passed him a glare and went to Austin and Emilia.

"Hey! Are you okay now?" Austin smiled.

"Yea..but you know that pervert blocked my way again" I said angrily as they laughed.

"You are seriously weird" Austin laughed. "But cute".

"Hey, are you picking on her?" Emilia punched his head as I laughed.

I have a very playful group of friends and I would never leave them. What else do we need when we have friends like Austin and... Emilia, obviously!

I was still afraid of the senior. I never thought my peaceful life would change so suddenly. Jeez, I hate Mondays!

The college ended and we came out laughing. We were walking on the college ground suddenly I spotted something.

"Oh yeah! What else can you expect from them? Cheap girls like her only fall for them" I asked, getting very annoyed.

"Are you jealous?" Emilia and Austin asked.

"Are you insane?!" I shouted as they laughed. I know they are kidding.

"Whatever but Clara is hot indeed" Austin said.

"So are you planning to try Clara now?" I and Emilia asked.

"That reminds me did you try to befriend Daniel?" I asked as he shook his head as 'no'.

Did I told you guys that my best friend, Austin is homo? *Sigh* I know he got a caring heart and *sigh* I wish he didn't fell for Daniel. He sometimes becomes too caring that I think what my life would be without him. He becomes shy in front of Daniel but... I once had a crush on him. Probably when I was in fourth grade.

Daniel on the other hand is also a 3rd year. I don't understand why all the third year students are in basketball? Daniel is a nice guy, a bit flirty but not like some devil I know. I hope that my bestie would tell his feelings to him soon.

I looked at Senior who was busy in his kissing section. He shifted his gaze towards me and smirked giving me the 'you can't escape from me' look.

I ignored them and went out, dragging Emi who seems to be enjoying by looking at him.

"Let me give you a ride" Austin smiled and I nodded. Emilia went with her father as I and Austin drove away.

We didn't talk much during the ride and after reaching home I gave him a peck on his cheek to which he responded with a smile.

I went to my room and took a shower.

"I'm bored" I switched on the TV but soon switched it off. I opened my laptop and started reading a story.

"Vamp- No, Yup! BL !" I said to myself excitingly.

It was 7:30 and I don't know when I fell asleep. I woke up slowly and found my phone vibrating.

I saw that caller ID, it was Austin.

"Hello!"

"Where the fu*k are you?! Aren't you gonna come to Jenny's party?!" He shouted.

"Who's Jenny?" I asked, while yawning.

Jenny Clinton?

Oh shit! Today is her birthday! How can I forget?! She will probably kill me!

"Who's Jenny?! Your death?! I'll break all your bones if you don't come here RIGHT NOW!" This time, I realised Jenny snatched the phone from Austin and started shouting at me.

"No no, actually I was..um.. asleep..I will be right there within 10 minutes" I nervously smiled and found her still fuming in anger.

I told Austin to come and pick me up while I jumped from the bed and started getting ready. I wore a simple white with black stripe knee length dress and put some light makeup on my face.

Did I tell you guys the reason why Austin is so worried about me coming there? *Whispers* Because Jenny is Daniel's sister. Haha, yeah.

She is in class 10. I once met her in a picnic with my sister. There, she was with her friends. She is sweet, we became very close after that. She is too cheerful but gets mad at those people whom she loves.

Since then Austin is treating me like a queen. It's a way to get close to Daniel but it's his love so I'm not going to interfere in his love life.

I heard the car horn and rushed downstairs, not after falling from the stairs again.

"Hey! How am I looking?" I smiled at Austin.

"Gorgeous!" He smirked" Now hop in, you are late."

I got inside the car and he started it.

"Um.. Austin?"

"Yes"

"Why are you so cold? Any problem?" I asked and noticed a light blush on his face

"It's nothing" he said slowly.

"Did something happened between you and Daniel?" I smirked and started teasing him.

"Off- you're so evil" He pouted and laughed.

"Tell me what happened!"

"Well, he hugged me when I went there" his cheeks flushed red.

"Owoo! Hug, huh? " I smirked "Nice step."

"Haha, I'm too happy. Let's go fast or else you know how Jenny is when she's angry." he laughed as I nodded.

I reached there and faced the angry Jenny

"I would have killed you if you missed my birthday!" She shouted like she is my grandma

"Forgive me, grandma " I laughed as she passed me a glare. We laughed and entered in the house where the party was going on, as she went with her friends.

Well, her house is huge and she has many friends. I can see many people in the crowd .

"Hey Hazel!" I saw Daniel as he approached me and hugged me tightly.

I was dumbstruck.

"I was only waiting for you. I'm glad that you are here, beautiful." he kissed me on the cheeks and smiled.

I gulped and averted my eyes to Austin who was standing like a doll . I nervously smiled at him giving a 'Its just friendly kiss' look.

"Hey Daniel!" Emilia jumped on him and kissed his lips.

"What?!" Me and Austin shouted as they looked at us casually.

Ahem! What's the fu** is going on?

Don't start crying Austin! Please don't! I'll probably kill this Emilia why does she have to flirt with each and every boy.

"Hey, wanna meet my best friend?" Daniel smiled at me and Austin.

"Sure..." Austin nodded with a fake smile.

I noticed his sadness but he tried to be happy. No matter what, I can always read him like an open book.

Daniel took us to his best friend and I saw a guy talking or rather flirting with a girl.

"Hey dude, meet my friends" Daniel called him and he turned back. When he saw me, an evil smirk appeared on his face

How come he is here?! My heart stopped beating.

"Pleased to meet you again, little bi*ch" He smirked at me.
