Chapter 1: Bestfriend

It's Wednesday after classes,as I sit at the University's student union for late lunch.
I've got my closest friends with me,Kenji and Ayaka.
Ayaka
Kotoha, you're so amazing!I'm so jealous that you got the internship!
Ayaka
...but you're the more promising interior designer,you deserve it.
Kotoha
To be honest,i'm really nervous that time.
Kenji
Well,you really do deserve it Kotoha.
Kenji,gave me his usual small,lopsided smile.But then I notice a gleam of longing behind his eyes.I've known him since we're little and I can really tell that something is wrong.
Kotoha
Kenji,are you okay?You seem sad...
Kenji
I'm happy for your internship but i'm frustrated on my own situation.
Ayaka let out a short laugh, she's trying to ease the seriousness as always.
Kenji lifts one corner of his mouth before looking serious again.
Kenji
I'm just frustrated.You know what you gonna do with your life but here I am,bored out my mind with accounting classes.
Kotoha
I know I've said this before but why don't you just change your major?
Kotoha
It's awful to see you unhappy and restless because of your studies.
Ayaka nods vigorously as I finish with...

I know your dad wants you to be a accountant like him.
Kenji
I just don't know what I would change it to.
Kenji
Okay,I'll stop being dramatic.
He lifts a shoulder and look at me with a glint on his eyes.
Kenji
By the way,are you all up for some badminton?
I frowned at the thought of playing badminton.While Ayaka laughs at me.
Kotoha
You know how clumsy and unathletic I am!
Ayaka
Haha,for sure.I've seen you trip over your own feet more than one occasion!
I swat at Kenji's and Ayaka's arm pretending to be offended.
Kotoha
Hey,I'm not that bad.
Kenji
Uh,I think you are.But...it's kind of cute.

Cute and clumsy?what I am a five year old kid?
Kenji gave me a look that I can't decipher then turn his head to the passerby.
After our lunch,Kenji and I head to our apartment near the University.
Kenji
Do you want to see movie this weekend?
Kotoha
Yeah,I'm already planning it.
Kenji
Can I come with you?
He gives me a sidelong glance.Something about his tone make my heart flips.
I can feel his gaze on me.Why do I feel so unnerved right now?Best to change the subject.
Kotoha
So, you're having that guy's poker thing in your house tonight?
He give me looks that I can't read before he smile at me.
Kenji
You can come over if you want.
Kotoha
No thanks,I have ZERO poker face.I will lose!
Kotoha
My face is like an open book.
He chuckles and pinch my cheeks.
Argh,I always feel like a kid!
Chapter 2: New Neighbors
We chat a bit until we made it to our apartment building.
Kotoha
Look, there's a moving truck out front.
Kenji
Looks like those two guys are moving in.
I look closer and almost do a double take at the first guy.He's insanely gorgeous but that's not what's enchanting.
His eyes,so pretty!He's heterochromic,the other eye is blue and the other is red.I don't know that red eye can be so attractive!

As if he feel my stare,the young man lock his eyes on me.
I can't get over with his eyes!I want to have eyes like that too!
The other guy who's super cute,smiles at me.He looks so friendly and bubbly.

Hey there,do you guys live in this apartment?
He gives Kenji a brief glance,focusing on me as he walks up.
Kotoha
Yeah,Kenji live on the fourth floor and I'm on the third floor.I'm Kotoha by the way.
Arata
I'm Arata and this man who forgot to buy manners is Haru.
He said as he pulled the other guy by the shoulder.
They seem close,I wonder if they were brothers.
Haru just huffs like he can't be bothered.Is he mute or something.I never hear him talk.
Arata
Wait,you say you're on the third floor right?
Wait,why did I gave them my apartment number?!
Arata
Well,were in Room 313!Just across and down the hall from you!
Kotoha
Nice to meet you,guys!If you need help with anything...or you need to borrow milk or something,just find me!
Arata
Milk?pfft... you're so cute!
Does he mean cute as in 'pretty' or cute as in 'adorable kid'?
After I wave at Arata,Kenji and I enter the elevator.
Kenji
I'm not the biggest fan of your new neighbors.
Kotoha
I don't know.Though Arata is nice and super friendly.
Kenji
He's not friendly,he's flirty.
Kenji
And that Haru guy,gives me a creepy killer vibes.
Not gonna argue with that.Haru really did gave me some killer vibes.But I still like his eyes,so pretty!
The elevator stops on my floor and I step out.
Kotoha
I'm sure they were completely fine.
It's not like they will let dangerous criminals to enter this building.Maybe Kenji was just overprotective.
Chapter 3: Clumsy
I'm almost to my door when I realize I need to check my mail.
The new design catalogue must be in!
I turn around and ride down the ground floor room where everyone's mailbox is.
After getting it,I ride back up.
I'm looking through the mail as I step onto third floor and---
I slam into something very solid.
I stagger back,head a bit dizzy and look up into Haru's gorgeous eyes.
I feel so dizzy,as if I'm drunk.And of course,i trip on nothing as I step back.
I started to fall backward,but nothing like novels,drama and comics.Haru just watch me as i fall down.
Haru
You're blocking my way...
Even though I instantly hate him,I can't help but to notice how deep and manly his voice is.
Without even helping me get up,he walks past me.
How i wish you trip and fall down too!
Just like there was an angel on my side.Haru suddenly trip on nothing and falls down too!
I stand up and laughed silently.He look so embarrassed,haha!
I turned back and enter my room.
