All the guests and visitors and all the kids at the whole mansion are singing a happy birthday to the one and only son of the Alpha Jeon Jaehwan, and his wife Jeon Somi who's walking at the staircase guiding their son Jeon Jeongguk to walk on his own.

All of the guests and other important relatives of them focus their eyes on the birthday boy. To the birthday boy who can make anyone coo at---just by staring at his cute doe puppy eyes, thin upper lips, cute button nose, chubby cheeks, and into his bunny tooth.

When the Jeons already reached down the stairs they neared the long table for the birthday boy blows his candle. Somi carried the little boy in her arms for his son to be able to blow the candles and to make a wish. Jaehwan doesn't know when would their son would show some signs of what rank he is.

It's just their son is so young and of course, they don't want to pressure their son because it will be a big milestone if their son has come at the right age.

After blowing the candle and opening the gifts the parents and other kids are eating while some of them are playing with each other.

Jeongguk was looking downstairs, watching silently all the guests and the kids, he saw his mommy and daddy talking to a friend of theirs---that's what he thought because he never likes the idea of meeting a person nor befriending them. He stared at the kids who he also saw playing around at the colorful swimming pool of balls.

While the other older kids were running around their house. He gripped at the staircase tightly as he gulped when Somi called for his name saying that he knew what exactly is it because he saw a boy who's between the persons who his parents were talking to, his mommy motioned him to come there as he did. He was slowly walking up to his parents while he can feel the kid who's taller than him stared at him. It made him uneasy because this thing is the real thing that he avoided the most, meeting new persons---stranger.

"Ommo~, your so cute little one. What's your name young man?" The beautiful woman asked him, as he played on his fingers.

"Jeon J-Jeongguk ma'am, b-but mommy c-calls me G-Ggukie," He shyly said as he looked up at her.

"Hi Jeongguk, My name is Taehee---and don't call me ma'am just call me Aunt Taehee, or mommy if you want. It's just my baby here who wants you to be his friend. He's my son Kim Taehyung," Taehee pointed at the taller boy beside her, who only looked at him with a smile.

"Hon, let them be, they'll sure talk to each other and will also get along if they play for a moment, there. Don't forget that we're only here because our Taehyungie wants to meet the youngest Jeon here. So, don't ruin their first meeting hmmm..." Kim Sungjae, Taehyung's father pulled his wife's waist softly as their son walked up to Jeongguk, who shows a small smile to him.

While Jeongguk looked up to his parents as if he's pleading to not let him be alone with the boy on his side, it's just that he's uncomfortable in the atmosphere ever since he saw the boy with a boxy smile.

"Oh, Ggukie you'll be fine with him. Meeting a friend wouldn't hurt, right?" Somi cooed at his son's cuteness because he knew Jeongguk would use his charms which is; his cute puppy doe eyes staring up at them with some undelivered tears visible in it.

"M-Mommy..." Jeongguk whined hugging Somi's legs as he didn't want to be separated from his parents even if it was just a minute. He felt different and unsafe if his parents are not with him every single minute nor time.

"Ggukie, don't worry I don't bite people," A cute voice beside him spoke already calling him by his nickname that his mommy gave him. He stopped from hugging his mother's legs and so his whines as he looked at the kid named Taehyung who he found beau---handsome if he may describe him. It made him relaxed as they only looked into each other's eyes. Taehyung seemed to offer a hand to him smiling genuinely at him though no one has ever made him feel like this---no one has ever made him overcome his fears not until now.

Jeongguk takes the hand in front of him as he assured himself that he'll be okay with the boy accompanying him for a moment, Somi just chuckled at his son, seeing him starting to open his world up---letting someone befriend him made her somehow feel relieved.

"See, you'll be fine with him, hon," Taehee assured the youngest Jeon who looked up at them with his doe eyes.

Jeongguk looked at the hand that was intertwined with his, it felt soft against his the gentleness and fragility can be seen in that delicate hand that was holding onto him. As if like the touch was the one who was entertaining him to not be scared. He unconsciously let himself hold the hand back which results in Taehyung to smile as he does ---yes he's smiling looking up at the taller beautiful boy.

"Let's go to your room?" Taehyung asked.

Jeongguk only nodded as he let himself be guided by Taehyung upstairs heading to his room, though he instructed the way to him so that Taehyung knew where they would enter.

"What's your name again?"

"Jeongguk,"

"Ahhh, My name is Kim Taehyung. You can also call me by my nickname---call Taetae or Taehyungie," The talkative older boy spoke cheerily as he introduced himself again because he didn't understand the other's name earlier.

Jeongguk nodded only silently but smiled afterward.

They were now sitting on Jeongguk's bed where all the bunny pink toys, iron man's stuff, and figures are all scattered. Taehyung who was hugging a big BT21 character which is Cooky, while Jeongguk was silently playing at the iron man figure---moving the arms and the legs of iron man while bumping to another version of an iron man that is silver in color.

"Uhm Happy birthday, Sorry but I don't have a gift for you but my mom has it for you," Taehyung hugged the Cooky plushie tightly until his cheeks are squeezed cutely by it.

Jeongguk stopped playing for a moment now looking at Taehyung.

"It's okay, may I ask how old are you?" Jeongguk felt relieved as he's starting to warm up from the atmosphere. He finds this boy interesting and so he wants to know him more.

"I'm a hyung to you, I'm ten years old," Taehyung uttered as his cheeks were squeezed from the plushie. Jeongguk finds it cute and adorable of the older.

"You don't look like one," Jeongguk said gaining some courage to go on a joke to the other because he felt like saying it.

"Yah, the fact that I'm taller than you is the least evidence that I'm older than you," Taehyung pouted lips jutting out and glaring at the bunny boy---that's what he wants to call it.

"Sorry, hyung..." Jeongguk thought that he made the other angry and scared that the older might not want to come back here and meet him again because he felt like he insulted the older---his hyung. Taehyung had a shocked expression as he heard the voice of Jeongguk that is low.

"Y-Yah, I'm j-just kidding, you know..." He nervously said as he tried to make the younger look up at him but when he tried to make him face him Jeongguk looked down and bring his knees near to his chest and he covered his face with his arms that were wrapped around his knees. Taehyung started to feel guilty as he didn't mean to make the other boy cry, he stared at Jeongguk figure who's shaking slightly while he heard his sniffles. The only thing that was coming up on his mind was; hug the younger boy.

And that's what he exactly did as he closes his eyes as he felt himself on the verge of crying---feeling the heavy guilt that was building up inside of him, for making the other cry.

He hugged the smaller boy who he sees shaking as he let himself hug the younger because he's the one who's at fault and he should gain his forgiveness.

"P-please don't cry, i-am just j-joking..." Taehyung bit his lips as he feels his tears forming while he pulled Jeongguk closer to his chest.

"P-Please..." Taehyung pleads in a small voice not wanting to see Jeongguk crying because of him. Jeongguk had stopped shaking but it was replaced by a stifled laugh coming from his mouth.

"H-Hyung..." Jeongguk pulled away from the hug, he saw the other with eyes closed while biting his lips.

"Hyung, I'm just joking too..." Jeongguk cupped the other's cheeks as he wipes the one tear that falls on his right side of the cheek.

"Huh?" Taehyung opens his eyes only to find Jeongguk smiling at him---more like stifling a giggle, with the bunny tooth displayed along with the younger's beautiful smile.

"I thought y-you---" Taehyung felt relief and sighs, the smile of Jeongguk made him calm down. He doesn't know why he dragged and plead his parents to be here in the Jeons just for him to meet the youngest Jeon. He doesn't know why he's being like that, he finds the only son of Jeon's interested. It's just that.

"Hyung?" Jeongguk called for his name.

"Yeah?" He shyly looked at the younger when he found the younger was already looking at him.

"Will you be m-my first friend?" Jeongguk formally asked him, as he couldn't feel anything as he heard that question coming from the younger. And the first-ever plan here was just granted by the other boy. He wished to be friends with him and now he wants him to be his friend---first friend.

And who's Taehyung to take a no in anything.

"Okie, but can I call Ggukie instead, because Jeongguk is much longer for me to say, "Taehyung asked gaining back he's energetic energy and suddenly hugging the little Jeongguk unconsciously.

"O-Okay...hyung," Jeongguk replied as he didn't hesitate nor hold himself back from hugging back his now first friend---Taehyung. He felt happy because someone has come for him and accompany him---that was like medicine--- a vitamin of his helping him to be more civil and socialize with the other person.

And Taehyung is that vitamin that he may want to call.

Third Person POV

"So, as I was saying we want Jeongguk to be more active and not always shy when it comes to this, and I and Jaehwan wanted to trust Jeongguk in you---because we have a business meeting in Spain, and also it'll take us one week or two to be able to come back here. I want my Jeonggukie and your Taehyungie to be friends. And maybe we'll want Jeongguk and Taehyung hang out in your house, if that's okay with your son and---if they are now friends. Is that okay with you?" Somi informed her best friend.

Their husband was on the right side of the mansion where the pool is out there. She wanted to take Jeongguk with them to Spain but couldn't because no one will look after her son there, because they'll have to stay in a hotel, even if they'll stay in a hotel there---still it's not safe for her son, she will not leave her son alone in the hotel with no one and even there's a person like a nanny or servants in there---she will not let that to happen.

Taehee knew that Somi and Jaehwan were so damn overprotective of their only son. And she's too sure that she and Sungjae will be the first and last person that the Jeon's would trust on. She just chuckled at her best friend's overprotectiveness and 'possessiveness' over to her son, as it's not a problem to them---both of her Sungjae and Taehyung.

"I'm sure that Taehyung would love to have Jeonggukie on our house, bet Taehyung will make Jeongguk stay in our house forever," Taehee said, making the both of her and Somi laughed, as it's true about her son being so friendly and seem wanted more friends and will just stay there in their house already.

"Let's check our boys now~" Taehee beamed, walking upstairs while Somi walking there too---beside her. They reached the second floor and Somi walked farther from the left side of the area until Somi stopped on the door as she slightly opened it.

Taehee was about to open the door more widely too but---Somi gave her a sign to stay quiet. Somi's eyes bulging, her face was showing the sign of---it might explode anytime and she wanted to squeal or to be proud at his son---but it's making her coo, so she whispered.

"Look they are so cute..." She said to Taehee who peeked through the slightly hanged door of Jeongguk's room.

They both of their son---on each other's arms. They are hugging.

"I'm happy that my Jeonggukie found a friend now, hope it'll continue like this to anyone," Somi said with a glint of hope in the end, because she's worried for Jeongguk, what if he'll not act like this to other kids? They're just thinking---of what concerns Jeongguk has right now. They want to be perfect parents for him, so---it involves how would his son learn about every single thing about being not his usual self---like he has a shell that is not meant to break anytime soon---just hiding there in his world. They want to break that she'll and let Jeongguk out from it, to face the world that is waiting for him to be shown.

Taehyung was hugging Jeongguk by his arms around on Jeongguk's neck, while Jeongguk who's smaller tried his best to hold tighter---hug tighter Taehyung's waist, while Taehyung was having his eyes close. This scene made the two best friends just silently coo and watch the two of them, having this cute---beautiful---and heart warming scene.

"Let's not disturb them," Somi said to Taehee who took one last look at their son who's hugging on the bed, as she fished her phone out on her dress pocket and silently tap her phone, perfectly capturing the two of them hugging kids. Capturing the best scene that she saw that day, considering it as one of the most beautiful sceneries and the best memory to save for his son. They left there with a smile plastered on their face.

"My mommy said I will be an alpha someday,"

"Uhhh," Taehyung hummed.

"You?"

Jeongguk and Taehyung were currently heading down the stairs when Jeongguk questioned Taehyung, it is when the two of them drifted the topic about their parents ranking in the heredity of werewolves, Jeongguk just answered swiftly, as he equalizes his answer with a question to other.

"I think I'm an alpha too! Just like you Ggukie," Taehyung said with a happy face etched on his handsome face, letting his infamous boxy smile be shown to others which the other boy finds it unique of him.

Jeongguk smiled at him, whispering in his mind that the other is utterly handsome and kind of pretty in some kind of way. They looked at their eyes, still walking on the stairs.

"Ah!" The taller boy of the two screamed when he missed a one stair causing him to lose balance, causing himself to slipped down, but before anything bad happens---there was a small arm that was wrapped around his waist preventing him to fall pinning him on the staircase with a swift move, to prevent him---the two of them falling. He knew who was the owner of those small yet strong baby arms to hold him tightly---yet secured.

Sungjae and Jaehwan saw it all and was about to run the stairs when their sons are looking at each other, which they just chuckle at first but---oh holy god---their sons didn't pay attention to their way, resulting in one of them to fall but they didn't expect that they will also fall on the beautiful sight of the two. Sungjae broke into a sigh of relief when Taehyung did not fall---but saved by Jeongguk. He saw how Jeongguk hold Taehyung even though Taehyung is a bit taller than him. While Jaehwan was proud of his son, found a friend, talking a bit more now with Taehyung, and then this he saved Taehyung, he saw the swift yet gentle move of what his son did, but somehow he's relieved too, that his son and Taehyung did not fall.

The atmosphere on the stair falls into silence as their son was still on there, facing each other who had their eyes wide.

"You two should watch your way..."

It was Sungjae who spoke voice firm trying his best to appear strict in front of the two. Jaehwan also looked at the two with a strict face. They walked towards in front of the stairs, looking at their sons who are still in that position---Taehyung pinned by the Jeongguk in there. Their sons looked at them with a sad face.

"S-Sorry Dad, I wasn't looking---that I tripped and almost fall," Taehyung starts as his eyes became teary as he doesn't like that when his father was looking mad at him.

"Jeongguk," Jaehwan looked at his son who avoided eye contact with him and just whispered a small 'sorry too, dad' to him.

"I'm proud of you son," Jaehwan said as Jeongguk whipped his head to his dad with wide eyes.

"What?" Jeongguk uttered. Taehyung too looked at his and Jeongguk's father only to see they are smiling now? They are smiling at them? He thought they are mad---he doesn't get it.

"Just watch your way next time hmm?" Sungjae added with a smile on his face.

"You can now release my son, Jeongguk..." Sungjae added with a hint of teasing as he gave the youngest Jeon an also a teasing look, making Jeongguk blush crept on his cheeks that reached the tip of his ears.

Jeongguk slowly let go of Taehyung's waist as Taehyung collected himself and stood in front of him, they continue to walk down the stairs, all the kids are in the swimming pool that's why the living room is not crowded.

Third Person POV

A week later and the day has come when the Jeons would be trusting their son to Kim's. Jeongguk was curled up on his bed like a ball hugging his Cooky plushie, he was told that he'll be staying at the house Kim's while his parents are in Spain---in a whole one week or two, he didn't agree to it, knowing that he'll be away from his parents he told them he doesn't want to stay there. Even though Taehyung was now his friend a couple of days ago---still that doesn't change the fact that he'll be staying with them under one roof same as Taehyung's parents, he doesn't want to be separated from his Mommy and Daddy, he doesn't want them to be away from him. It's just that he's not comfortable with anyone unless it is his parents. Though he can say Taehyung too he couldn't help but doubt his self about the older boy, he doubts that he can't make it again with Taehyung when it's been days since he saw the boy, who knows if he acts not as nice as when he last visited him on his birthday? He just have this habit---he couldn't help but jump to many conclusions about it. Every time he'll think about something---there's his inner self telling him that there are many reasons for one thing or things to change. It's just that he knew he said to himself that he finds Taehyung to his first friend and he made him comfortable to the older's company, but it was himself who's thinking worst like that.

"Jeongguk?" There was a voice behind his door, he knew who it was his Father. He didn't answer his dad as he curled his body more into a little fluff ball, bringing his bead to his knees as his arms were around himself.

He hears the door opened.

"Jeongguk..." Jaehwan walked towards his son's bed full of stuffies, and iron man figures.

"Jeongguk," Jaehwan said stern making his son looked at him with fear yet teary eyes. He doesn't just doesn't want his son to get used to them being always with him, they wanted Jeongguk to feel that not every time they are there beside him. Not anytime they are there for Jeongguk to guide him. They want Jeongguk to be used to everyone. That's what his father thought to him when he's also a teen---it was needed for him to be the good leader---the head Alpha of his pack.

"P-Please don't leave me w---with anyone. F-Father please..." Jaehwan's eyes softened when he heard it from his son, he doesn't know why is that sentence made him think about canceling the meeting there and just be with their son. It sounded so heartbreaking, Jeongguk always glued with them---never wanting for them to be so far away with them every time. He can't look at his sons pleading doe eyes, who's stopping him from temporarily leaving him with their friends. Jeongguk always shows how important they are for him---how dearest them for him. His son is not expressive yet with a mere second time of them being away from him, it was all worth it, when Jeongguk would plead them to stay and not leave him, it was always worth for them, their sons love for them was worth it. It was the best feeling that he and Somi had felt---it was the dearest love of their son just only for them.

He released a sigh, as he made himself sat on the bed, as Jeongguk immediately crawls to his father, throwing himself on his father's secured and feels like a home embrace. Jeongguk didn't know that behind his door that was slightly hanged ajar there's Somi, Taehee, Sungjae, and Taehyung who tried to not squeal and disturb the father and son. Taehyung geared up when he heard Jeongguk's vulnerable voice, it made him weak too, seeing him pleading there to not leave him.

Jaehwan just let his son buried his face in his chest and he can hear all of Jeongguk's whimpers, he scooped the small one on his arms as his arms were around his son's small frame, and his free hand was on his son's hair caressing it gently in a soft and calming manner.

Please, dad, take me with you...

Jeongguk prayed onto himself. He wants to be with his mother and father yet he has to be with Kim's for now. He's not saying that he doesn't like Kim's but he just doesn't want to be away from Jaehwan and Somi. Not letting himself got away from them.

"Ggukie..." There's a voice appeared and it made the little aforementioned on his father's arms to whipped immediately his head to the direction of the voice, Taehyung was standing cutely at the door, smiling genuinely at him.

"Hyung?" He managed to croak out while he seemed to stop from sobbing---he turned into a quiet one again probably not wanting Taehyung to see him like this---crying over his parents. He doesn't want the other to think that he's scared without his parents which are half lie and half-truth. Jaehwan helped his son wiped his tears, as he saw that Taehyung was the one who made Jeongguk this fast---he made him stopped from crying, which is not usual for them because Jeongguk would stop crying only when Somi was there too to hold him and say sweet nothings to his ear. Jaehwan just looked at his son and Taehyung in surprise, believing that Jeongguk was improving now day by day---because of the certain child of the Kim's. Jaehwan motioned for Taehyung to come and join then on the bed, as the father and son sat properly in front of the boy with a beautiful boxy smile.

"Taehyungie, can you make this little Jeon not scared of us temporarily gone for a week? Tell him we will not leave him behind, his parents love him and tell him too to not be a stubborn boy and be a good boy as what I taught him to be?" Jaehwan playfully said to Taehyung as he pinched the boys' un irresistible fluffy cheeks.

"Yes, Alpha," he said immediately giggling when Jeongguk's father broke into a handsome smile to him. As Jeongguk just let out cute sniffles coming out from his pink lips. He stopped from crying and looked---more like focused his eyes on Taehyung.

"Then it settled now, thanks kid," Jaehwan replied to Taehyung as he got himself out of his son's bed, as he left the second with a smile when he noticed his son looking at him as if he's asking for help but he just shopped his head, earning a slight innocent pout in his son's lips. Trusting the situation to Taehyung as well as he has the one hundred percent bet that Taehyung would make him let his son stay with them. When he walked out of the room Somi just gave him the look of what happened, but as he saw Taehee was smirking at him.

"I trust it all to Taehyung, and I believed that Taehyung will handle everything alright," He explained to his wife who just looked at her best friend who was sharing the looks of his husband.

"Oh Jaehwan I'm a sure bole that Taehyung will handle our little Jeongguk-ssi~" Taehee cheered up with clapping his hands slightly.

Staring at the door. He couldn't hear anything. But there's one thing that will be so sure of them.

Taehyung will make Jeongguk believe that no one can ever leave him---if it's his parents.
