Katharine woke up by loud bang of what seemed like heavy weapon. She noticed herself tied up with one of the pillars in that room. She opened her eyes widely to get the clear view of what was happening.

She saw that the room was very dusty, like no one has touched it for years. Of course, it was an abandoned House. She was sitting alone in the room, tied up with a very strong rope. She tried to remember how did she end up in this house, and then it clicked in her mind.

...*flashback*...

"I'm feeling very bad" said Rose Miller. She's the best friend of Katharine. "I can't do anything with such weak marks, KT."

"96% are weak?! I'm on cloud nine seeing 84% for myself." Kate gasped. She couldn't believe her dumb friend.

"No! I made a bet with Eli." Rose sighed.

"That so-called super model who loves complimenting herself?" Kate asked with a disgusted expression as if tasted a bitter gaurd.

"Yes. If I lose to her, then I lose a new make-up discount voucher." Rose exclaimed as if her life depends on it, but hushed when she noticed Kate's Oh-just-shut-up look.

"Okay, I get it. But you have to be positive, maybe you will get addmission. Just stay positive." Kate said and saw the time. It was 2 pm. "Hey, we're getting late!" Remember we had a get together at Lacy's house." She quickly changed the topic.

"Oh yes! Let's go there before the food gets over." Rose said in excitement.

"Gosh, all you think about is food, right?" Kate sighed.

Kate and Rose left Kate's house for Lacy's house. They both were together for checking their results. They had planned so much for their college life and couldn't wait to include Lacy with them. Rose being science student and Kate being science student would make their college different but never affect their plans.

When they were on their way to Lacy's house, they saw young man with a worried expression sitting on one of the benches. Theo, being the same age as them and their best friend, look rather sad than his usual expression. When Rose and Kate approached him, he felt like god was helping him.

"Hey, what happened?" Rose asked him.

"I got call just now, it was from an unknown number. That person called into the abandoned house. He knows everything about me, and is threatening me to go to that house and if I don't he'll kill my parents." Theo started crying. Theo was a kind of sober king.

"You shouldn't take such calls as real." Kate said, "Those are just prank calls." The hell of idiots they are. Who'd even believe such nonsense. Duh!

"If that's so, why don't you check it KT." said Theo desperately.

"Okay. If there's nothing in that house, I'm gonna beat you with your baseball bat." Kate smirked.

"Okay." Theo said.

When Kate reached the abandoned house, which was located in a very isolated place, she hesitated a little. She saw the notice board which was in front of the house. It said,

...***This abandoned house is said to be cursed. People when enter, shall never leave the place. As the spirits doesn't want you to....

...Please do not enter***....

"Since when did you mind such things." Theo said casually.

"I never believe." Kate went inside. As soon as she stepped in, the main door closed behind her.

"If you wanna leave the house, then explore the whole place, give us the description of the house, then we'll think about getting hit by the bat." Theo said from outside. Now Kate knew that they were playing a prank.

She always pretended to be strong and calm but all of this would make her more scared than cat. She gulped and decided to just overcome her fear and show her two best friends that she's brave.

Was she doing right?

When she went to explore the house, she suddenly felt a pain in her head and she realised that she was hit by a metal rod, and fainted on the spot.

...*end of flashback*...

"So this was what happened" Kate said to herself. "But who tied me up here, is someone living here....but why would that person tie me up like this. Are the cursed and spirit thing real?!"

Kate was litterly scared, when thought of the notice board which ignored outside. She wasn't able to think what to do, when out of nowhere she heard the loud bang of metal rod, from which she was beaten.

"what should I do! What should I do! What should I do!!!" Kate was trying to untie herself when.....

THUMP! THUMP!

The voice became quicker and louder. Whoever was the person was coming near the room where she was tied up right now. Kate's heart were skipping the beats whenever she heard that banging noise. Somehow, she gathered the courage and asked loudly, "Who is it?"

And suddenly the banging noise stopped. Then Kate heard a laughing sound. It was like psycho laugh. Kate felt shivers and goosebumps on her whole body. That person opened the door and showed himself, but Kate was not able to see clearly. When he came near Kate, she was petrified.

"Ryan?!"Kate said. "How did you find me? How did you know that it was me? It was your plan, right? You made a plan with my friends, you used them for me, right? How could you do this....."

"Relax, darling. Don't worry, your friends aren't involved in this. It's just a coincidence. Looks like....even god wants us to be together, but you don't understand the signal, darling."

"Don't you dare call me that. I'm not your so-called darling. You don't deserve me, infact you don't deserve anyone in.....aaaaah" Kate screamed as Ryan punched on her stomach.

"Whatever I am, u don't care. All I care is you are gonna be with be...... FOREVER. HAHAHAHAHA." He started laughing like mad man.

"I'd rather die, instead of being with you, A**hole." Kate said in full confidence. She wasn't scared of Ryan. She hated Ryan more than anything in this world.

"Is that so.....then die." He wispered the last word in her ears and started hitting her belly, heartlessly. Kate was screaming at the top of her voice as he started hitting her legs with the iron rod. There was no doubt that he was a complete.psycho.

Here Kate's friends were waiting for her, outside the house.

"Should we check on her, Rose. It's been a more than half and hour since she went inside." Theo said, concerned.

"This is a very big house. Last night, it took us almost one hour to explore the place, together. Here she's alone, of course it'll take time for her to explore completely, right?" Rose said consolelingly.

Both Theo and Rose were waiting for Kate outside the gate of the house. They didn't have any idea of what was happening inside, because Kate was on the top floor of the house and the house was soundproof, so no sound can go outside. It was just Kate fate that she being tortured so bad, but her friends didn't help her.

On the other side, Ryan was using different methods to torture her and make her scream.

"Baby, the way you're shouting, is making me fall for you. If you keep shouting like that, then I may never let go, nor let you die. I would always like to hear you scream like this, the whole life, hehehehe." said Ryan

Kate felt like she was about to die now. She was in a very condition and was injured in many places

Suddenly, she started feeling peace.

She knew, that this was the end of her life. Ryan was not satisfied by this. He went out of the room to take something which can start her screams again.

In a very short time, he returned to the room, with a broken beer bottle. He broke the bottle into small pieces, then he took the largest piece, and stabbed below her left ear. She started screaming like hell, Which satisfied Ryan.

"This is enough for today, darling. Tomorrow we'll enjoy again." Ryan said in excitement. Kate started crying. "This piece of glass is nothing, baby. You'll enjoy more tomorrow. Hahahhahahahahahaha."

Ryan went outside. Kate was crying for a very long time. She was so weak, that she wasn't able to move. After crying for a long time, she fainted.

When Kate opened her eyes, she saw something very unexpected.

...When Kate opened her eyes, she saw something very unexpected. She was lying in a hospital, with oxygen mask and energy bottle.

**She was under observation. She tried get up from the bed, but then she felt a sudden and lot of pain on her left side of the neck under her ears. When the nurse came inside and saw her awake, she immediately called the doctor.

The doctor checked her condition and asked what happened, just to check if she haven't lost her memory. Kate remembered everything correctly, she told the whole incident to the doctor, till she fainted, she doesn't know how did she end up in the hospital.

"Your friends brought you here. And judging by their look, it seemed like something very bad happened. Both of them were crying a lot." said the doctor when Kate asked him how did she end up here.

"They were tensed for me?" Kate murmured under her breath. She wasn't able to talk much, because she was weak, plus hungry. "I'm hungry, can I get something to eat?"

"Your brother said he'll be making an arrangement for the food with the hospital staff, as you have lot allergies in food items. So he's helping us out." The nurse said.

"Oh, by the way doctor, what happened to me?" Kate asked weakly.

"You had severe injury on your neck, on the left side. We had to do a surgery to remove the small pieces of glasses. Also, your right leg's bone was slightly damaged, so we had to do surgery there too." Doctor said thoughtfully.

Her parents came inside after a few minutes, with her friends. Kate's father Daniel and mother Emma, were very concerned about her. Emma was crying a lot. Daniel was furious.

"Don't worry princess, that Ryan is now under police custody. I never knew, that this guy could fall this much. He's turned into a complete psycho. Police are saying that he should be kept in mental asylum, and then, I will put a case on him, because he killed many girls like your age before." Daniel said.

"What?! So I was his next target? But he said that he wants to keep me with him for his whole life." Kate said.

"Princess, he's a psycho now, he can say anything. Okay, tell me one thing.....did he ever try to bring you to his house?" Daniel asked.

"No, he never did. And even if he did, you know I wouldn't go with him. I always got a negetive vibes from him." Kate said thoughtfully.

"I wouldn't let anyone hurt you, my baby. You are my only daughter." Emma said sadly.

"Mom, you have a 15 year old idiot son, remember?" Kate said lightly.

The Tombs family was a very lovely family. They all loved each other very much, and there was no place for hatred or jealousy amid them at all. Kate loved her brother Harry very much, and her parents were never partial to her or her brother, ever. They were truly lovely.

"Oh, you don't have to remind me. First, you three sort out your problems. Theo and Rose are blaming themselves for your condition. They were just playing a joke, they also checked the house the day before, for your safety, Kate dear. Kids play jokes in this age, it's normal, we didn't blame them, and we won't. Kate forgive them, please." Emma said and they both left the room, leaving Theo and Rose with Kate.

"What do you wanna say, just say and leave." Kate said coldly. Kate never talked to them in that way. But she was angry.

"KT, we're extremely sorry and guilty for what we did. We don't know how that man got into that house. We also checked the house the night before." Rose said emotionally.

"KT, we don't deserve your forgiveness, we will accept whatever punishment you give us." Theo said quickly.

"Good morning, siso!" Harry suddenly appeared from the door into her room.

"Morning? How long have been sleeping here?" Kate asked, confused.

"You've been unconscious for past one week." Harry said casually.

"Whaaaaatt?" Kate was shocked but weak.
