"I am Sarah, 18 years old. I completed my high school successfully and entering to my further studies", she said to her granny's friend. Both her parents were died when she was young, in her teens. Her grandmother with her pension helped her to study. Now she earned scholarship with her good marks in high school.

Sarah is a different girl with too many talents. She is extremely creative and she is not scared for darks and anything except "insects", 'until now'. She is brave and beautiful girl. Her eyes are big and blue, looks pale white and with black thick and long hair. Her eyebrows added beauty to her face. She want to do a course that is not available in her state. So she pondered her granny to allow her to go to another place.

Her granny scared in her heart whether she can manage alone. The reason is she is already cheated by her Ex boy friend in her high school. Finally her granny accepted her to leave alone. Sarah is happy when she heard that she ran around the street jumping everywhere with joy.

Sarah applied a university and finally got. The place is called 'Boursia' .She went to the place with her dresses packed and some money in her bag, droped few tears, leaving her granny. She is not rich so she wanted to spend less money for her food and shelter.

Granny knew a nurse who worked with her before 10 years. She is living there now and her name was Riza and Sarah's granny had her address. Sarah was on her journey to that place now. "Sarah don't go there" a strange voice heard when she was sleeping. She thought it will be a dream.

She slept again she saw her Ex in her dream. She was extremely angry on him so she woke immediately. She decided not to sleep. She somehow managed the day not to sleep until she reached the place.

She is bit tired now reaching Boursia. Its hard to find a address in a new place. She saw a person who looked and smiled at her. She thought she may help her. She called her " Mam, could you help me to reach the address?" Sarah asked gently. The lady found Sarah's voice so humble so she decided to help her.

I am Erie, the lady introduced herself and asked the reason she was here. Sarah told that she came to continue her studies in a university here. Erie told the directions to the address. She had a small vechicle she dropped Sarah in half way. Sarah found the place was too narrow.

She found Riza, the nurse's house. The front door was tall. broken and with many scratches with deep brown in colour. She ringed the bell on her left corner. She heard few steps nearing the door.

The door opened with a irritating noise. But ' I am not scared ', sarah said herself. There came a old lady looked like a witch, with hair like uncombed sheep's hair, had a mole on her tip of the nose, only three teeth in front left in her mouth.

Her face seemed no blood circulation as if she is dead already, with faded dried wrinkled face.

Sarah is frightened a bit. She asked, "Are you Riz.... Rizza...", her voice stammered. " Yes, you lil girl ,who are you? ", said that witch like lady but she's Riza.

She gave a letter given by her granny. That witch like lady let her in and asked her to stay in her house. She told Sarah to fresh up and be in the room, and added that her lunch will be in the table in few hours.

Haa, Sarah lost her fear. " Ughh, why I am so scared for a lil thingy", thought herself. She went to the room alotted for her. She was very tired she saw the bed and felt to lie on it." Awww, how comfortable it is!" , relaxing herself for a while. She slept.

She heard a noise and woke, thinking herself that she need to bath. She took her towel, and few bathing stuffs and went to the bathroom adjacent to her room. She found the house was quite. But she doesn't mind. She opened the shower, the water was warm.... relaxing for her. She closed her eyes and suddenly had a dream. She saw a beautiful flower becomes dried and destroyed by a iron hammer. She opened her eyes. She suddenly noticed blood arising from the shower. "What....what is this?", she screamed. and gone out off shower. Wrapped her towel around she went all around the house to tell about it.

she's baffled that she was unable to found anyone. Her heart was beating faster and faster. she shivered. But a voice still said "Be brave!".

She went to the top of the house. Climbing the weak wooden stairs. She went and looked inside the water tank from where the blood water came through shower. She slowly opened the Tank's lid and kept aside.

She looked into the water tank . Her heart beated faster. Her eyes grumbled to look at it... but the water was very clear. She laughed, "shit! why I am scared?". She put her hand on the surface of the water. A eye ball with many red optic nerves came near her hand. She took her hand away, and fainted immediately.

She waked from her bed. Laughed its just a dream. Mmmm mmmm.... she kept on thinking why she got a horrible dream. She went to shower and dressed up, but she didn't found any blood and she was glad.

She went and sat on the table for her lunch. She was humming her favorite song and thinking about her new university life. For so long the witch like lady was not there. She scared that will her dream become true.

Unexpectedly she came with a big chicken fried in her hand, for their lunch. Sarah's mouth watered to see such a wonderful food. Her hungry stomach made more sound to drive her to eat it faster.

She realized there was less salt in the food. So she called that witch like lady to add some salt. but there is no voice came in return. She went to the kitchen to find her. But she's not found there. The kitchen was huge with lot of jars arranged neatly in a six rowed glass cupboard. Sarah decided to find the salt by herself.

Sarah started to search salt in all the jars. The second row is little high so she reached it by climbing in a three legged stool. When she opened the third jar she heard a strange sound at the corner of the kitchen. She climbed down the stool and walked towards the corner where she heard the noise. It looked as if it a secret way, it looked like a cave. Sarah is thrilled finding new things. She like adventurous things . She went into it. She kept on walking inside to find something interesting. When she reached the middle of the cave she found a three feet black green eyed big cat, It is huge. Sarah thought its just a dream and walked near to it. She squeezed its cheeks and pulled its whiskers. The cat didn't respond.

Sarah then saw a four pathways splitting from there. She decided to enter the third way, she heard a voice telling her to stop. She thought, "Why I get such imaginations all the time!". That big cat came in front of her and said not to go into these pathways. Sarah scared at the cat and ran away into the second pathway. She scared that the cat followed her, so she ran faster.

Her energy level dropped. But she still think it's her dream. She began to get a filthy smell like dead blood. She turned her right and saw a room full of dead cats with black fur. Sarah's eyes filled with horror. There were lot of tools in the room, sharp knifes, hammers, scissors...etc. There were many jars filled with fluid containing parts of cats dead body. She experienced disgust and gone out and entered another path.

While she was walking she saw a shadow of a lady with a huge hammer in a hand heading towards her. Sarah thought it will be witch like lady and hid herself at the back of a box awaiting to see her what she's doing there.

Sarah, when tried to saw her, the shadow disappeared. She came out from hiding. She somehow found her path to the kitchen and came out. Her dress were wet with sweat as she's nervous. Sarah again searched the witch like lady in the house. She's in the room cleaning.

Sarah is quite confused, "what is going on here?", " is this a dream? or not?". She is thinking she's dreaming and she's trying to come out of it. She's tired so she bathed and dressed up and lied on her bed. She opened a eyes for a while when she lied.

She suddenly felt to check the lady, so she went to see again. she went everywhere around the house. she went into the cave inside the kitchen entered into the third pathway she found the body of the witch like lady, rotten with horrible grim smell. She stood there for a minute's time. She screamed aloud and ran outside the house. A lady neighborhood scared because of her sound and came outside. When Sarah asked about Riza, the nurse. She said ," we don't know where is she and no one found her for a month".

"What? , i found her dead body", said Sarah frightened.

Sarah was grim horrored that she was staying in a haunted house. And went away.

Sarah finally got a new house to stay in reasonable price. She decided to join some part time job to earn some money. She still thought about the witch like lady. Nobody knows the reason for her death and how she died.

Sarah joined the university. She had throwned her bad experience which she got in Riza's house for a while. She like to get new experiences, So she is excited about her new life in the university.

And it was her first day of her university. Sarah is coming from a new city with different culture. So students avoided being friendly with her. Sarah tried to speak and get along with them, but Sarah can't be their friends.

Sarah started developing inferiority and loneliness in the further days of her first semester.She's unable to perform well in her studies. She used to be in the corner of the class in the last place. During breaks she used to be alone but other students used to chit- chat in a big gang.

Her first semester went without any new friends. It was her last day of exam, the sky bursted with thunder and heavy rain. She doesn't have an umbrella, she ran to find a shelter to hide herself from the rain.

A boy named Lan without her knowledge fell in love with her. But he's not so brave enough to tell her directly. Lan had an umbrella but he went to the shelter for Sarah. Sarah doesn't mind him, even she don't know he's belonging to her class.

Lan looked Sarah when she doesn't notice him. Sarah was thinking about how she's gonna reach her home. The weather became too worse, and sky became darker and weather became harder. Lan's heart beated too fast, he's forced himself to talk to her. Lan fought himself , he beautiful face mesmerized him. He standed stunned at her and finally approached her, " Hey! , I'm Lan, where is your house" , said Lan. She turned her pale face with big blue sparkling eyes. Sarah was happy that someone like to know her. Then Lan told that he also belonged to her class.

Sarah and Lan started talking. Sarah admired by Lan's speech decided to make him as her friend.

She asked Lan, "Shall we be friends?" , with a beautiful smile in her face. Lan was very happy.

The rain's harshness reduced. They both started walking on the streets.

Both Sarah and Lan got to know each other. They shared about their culture. And Lan

was very happy. They both went to their house.

They became good friends and shared everything among themself except Lan's love.

Days went and even Sarah got crush on him.

One night Sarah bathed and when she felt missing her granny, She searched for her locket, She just then noticed she missed her locket.

She kept on thinking and searching for it. Then she's sure that will be in that 'witch like lady's house'. She swallowed her saliva thinking that day she spent in her house.

She's scared to go alone to that house. But she wanted her locket which her granny gave her. She decided to take Lan there. She told everything happened in that witch like lady's house. They both planned to go to the house in the evening.

Both Sarah and Lan were ready to go there. Sarah is nervous a lot. But Lan didn't even had a bit of it. Sarah showed the house. Lan opened the door and both entered the house. When they entered the door immediately the door shut tight and they were unable to open. The house is full of dark. Their torches didn't work even, so they started walking. Sarah fell into a hole. Lan ran to find her and went in a different way. Sarah again saw that big black cat with green eye. She stunned to look at it. And starred at it for a few seconds. And asked " who are you?". It told ,"I m your mother". Sarah was baffled and thought," Is it joking?", "I am a human, and how my mother will be a cat?". She heard Lam's voice," Sarahhh? Where are you?". She turned her head to the direction of the sound. The big black cat with green eye disappeared immediately.

She called the big black cat but it didn't reply.

Lan found her and took her out of the house.

Lan found a tool box which had a hammer. He used the hammer and broke the door and they both flew out off the house.

They both didn't found the locket. Sarah pleaded that she need it. And confused about what the cat said. Lan and Sarah went to their house.

Sarah was brought up by her granny. And from her childhood whenever she asked about her parents to her granny she never replied about it.

Sarah saw her parents only in a picture in their album. Sarah wanted to know about the big black cat. And she's very anxious about it.

She slept. The scene with that big black cat came to her several times.

Sarah was confused and her granny's face flashed her several times. She became home sick and did not attend her classes for week. Lan was thinking about her and visited her house every day evening after the classes. Sarah's recovery was rapid due to Lan's visit each day. She got cured after a week. And it was the weekend Sarah was bored even Lan didn't came to see her for two days. so she decided to purchase some books to read. The lady who gave her space in her house also told to get some groceries.

She was staying in Boursia for nine months so she somehow familiar with the places. Sarah took the grocery list and some money to buy and started walking on the streets. It was a evening with red sky, chill air blew across the city. People all inside their house door shut.

The moon played hide and seek with the clouds.

The wrapped her scarf around her next because it was a month before winter. The street lights were lit. She heard few dogs fighting in the streets. She heard a little dog's cry.

She rushed to the spot immediately. She rescued the little puppy with bleeding tail. The puppy was very scared. It was in a pale golden yellow looked like a butter. She felt to name the dog. Sarah asked the puppy, "Shall I name u buttercup?". The puppy looked her beautiful face and felt safe with her. It responded by swinging its tail to and fro to the name.

Sarah liked that dog, she decided to take care of it. She bought the groceries told by her house lady and instead of buying books she bought medicines and food for that puppy.

She cleaned the puppy's wound in its fluffy tail, wrapped with medicine and dressed it.

She started to go to her classes the next week.

The puppy used to miss her when she went to her classes. Its wounds recovered and It grew well.

One day while Sarah and buttercup went to walking. Buttercup saw a black cat which tempted it a lot. Buttercup started chasing it wildly, Sarah was unable to control her. She went merely at its back.

The black cat took them to the witch like lady's house. Sarah tried to grab Buttercup but it doesn't listened her. She left the belt and stood outside the house starring at the haunted house. Buttercup ran into the house breaking its large wooden door. Sarah hoped that she will return soon and waited there. But it was an hour gone she didn't came out off the house.

She heard Buttercup's miserable cry. Sarah's heart pondered for her dog. She made her heart brave and went in to rescue her. She walked into the house shouting "buttercup! buttercup!, where are you?". She peaked into a room. The house was very dark.

She kept on shouting her dog's name aloud walking further. She found a candle and lighted it up with a match box near it. When she lighted the candle she saw a wall full of photo frames. The frames were dusted, she took her candle near them and blowed the dust and saw those pictures. She saw pictures of the witch like old lady when she was young along with her family. When she moved her candle in her right slowly blewing the dust on them. when she saw a picture, her heart beated faster sweat came from her forehead she was frightened a lot. And it was the picture of "Lan" with his family.

She's already collapsed a lot and this made her scare. Suddenly Buttercup came to her and they both went out of the house

She went to the house, her heart beat didn't became normal yet. She loosened her scarf around her. She felt heat in her chest and sweated a lot. She doesn't felt any emotions.

lot of questions arose in her mind but nothing found an answer. She can't think anything. She became sick. She didn't felt hunger at all. And she lied on the bed with her open eyes. She cannot sleep the whole night. Buttercup ran to her dropping her locket to her. She didn't felt happy when she saw that even. She thanked Buttercup and pressed the side of the locket to open. She looked at her granny's face.

Tears ran out of her beautiful sparkling eyes.

Yes she started to cry. She touched her granny's picture in the locket with her soft index finger's tip. She saw the picture opened dividing her granny's picture. She saw the picture of her parents in it. She started remembering the memories with the black cat.

Then she started questioning herself. "Who is Lan?, why he's with me as my friend ? and why his picture is there in that witch like lady's house? , Is he a ghost? . She don't understand what is happening in her life, why the black cat said that it's her mother, with tears in her face.
