Walls don't talk, yet it shows how depth and pressure the room was.
Voice are not loud, yet it shows how displeased the other person who's receiving the calls are.
His expression can pull someone's emphaty for him, as tears threatening to leave his crystal eyes.
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth
📲...
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth
*Shivering*
📲"YOU BETTER THINK TWICE BEFORE GOING HOME. OR ELSE, DON'T THINK YOU'VE STILL HOUSED TO CAME BACK!!!"
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth
...cnle...
📲"DON'T CALL ME UNCLE, YOU USELESS BRAT!"
📲"I should have left you alone when your mother throw you outside of my door."
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth
*Speechless*
📲"Remember this, brat. If you didn't give me the money I'd asked you. Then, you don't need to call me. Let's forget the things I've done to you." *Hang-up*
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth
*Put his right arm to cover his eyes*
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth
W-what am I gonna... do..? *Mumble*
Then, few minutes his eyes slowly drifted to sleep forgetting all his problems at the moment.
Not far from the other side, a man who's around 20's was stressed out about his work loads.
He was sitting on his chair, infront of him was a screen showing different kinds of emails, and papers and documents were spread all to his table.
Haizen Agustino
For all the cases I took... This is so, so...*Sigh*
He rubs his temples, staring at the papers scattered on his table.
Haizen Agustino
Okay, there's gotta be an answer a way out from this mess. Right...?
Haizen Agustino
Ugh.. This gotta be a nightmare.
In a dimly lit, smoke-filled abandoned building.
Desmond D'Angelo
*Clenching his fists*
Desmond D'Angelo
You think you can betray me?
Desmond D'Angelo
You think you can walk on your own, and never look at your back as you dance with your own tune?
"I-i... I d-didn..t mean to, boss! I was just trying to-"
Desmond D'Angelo
*Shot his left leg*
Desmond D'Angelo
Trying to what? Wanted to please me? Or please my enemy?
Desmond D'Angelo
Oh, well... It works the same way though.
Desmond D'Angelo
Let me guess, he told you that he'll give you power? Money? Or maybe, both?
Desmond D'Angelo
One thing I hate the most is lying. And to whatever reason you have, a rat is a rat.
Desmond D'Angelo
And what happens to a rat when they betray their owner?
Desmond D'Angelo
They get exterminated. *Smiled Sweetly*
Desmond D'Angelo
See you there.
The air is so thick with tension as he shot the poor person infront of his men with more than thrice.
As he light a cigarette and inhale through it and blow.
Desmond D'Angelo
What a shitty life I do have.
In the dead of night a man's heart were hammered by his uncle's relentless demand for money echoing in his ears—a pressure so suffocating he felt invisible hands squeezing the life from his veins—yet he stood paralyzed, not knowing where to turn or how to find the sum.
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth
H...help.. m-me... please- *Sleep talking* *Shaking miserable*
Across town, the lawyer stared at towering stacks of case files, his eyes blood‑shot from sleepless drafts, every legal clause a razor that sliced deeper into his sanity, stress coiling around his throat until he could barely whisper a defense for himself.
Haizen Agustino
Please... Let me sleep...
And farthest away, a lone man stood abandoned on a battlefield of trust, his own men—once sworn shields—now turned knives, betrayal searing his soul like wildfire, leaving him to bleed invisible wounds while the world watched, indifferent, as his world shattered into melodramatic ruin.
Desmond D'Angelo
Let see, how can we sleep peacefully tonight. Should I drink or .... *Whisper through the wind*
Their oaths collided in the ether—protection, victory, isolation—intertwining like phantom threads, each promise amplifying the others’ torment, a silent chorus of desperate resolve echoing through their shattered lives.

This is just a peak of the story 😜

Chapter 1: Coffee—Saved My Sanity
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth, 24, straps his weather‑worn delivery bag across his chest like a badge of honor. In a few months he’ll toss his cap into the air and graduate from the local tech college—finally trading late‑night coding labs for a real‑world paycheck.
[Today’s gig feels different: a single order for “Premium Arabica – 2 cups” addressed to *Suite 503, Law Firm Building, Ross Avenue*. ]
The building looms glassy against the Manila skyline, it's marble lobby humming with air‑conditioned silence.
He pushes through the revolving doors, the scent of fresh coffee clashing with polished leather and faint ozone. A receptionist glances up, eyebrows lifting at the sight of his faded shirt and sneakers.
“Delivery for Suite 503?”
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth
Yep.
Xydrial replies, flashing a smile that hides the nervous flutter in his gut.
He’s never set foot inside a law firm before—no courtroom drama in his playlist, just endless loops of indie tracks on his earbuds.
The elevator hums upward.
When the doors slide open on the fifth floor, a sleek corridor stretches ahead, doors labeled with partner names etched in gold.
He locates *Suite 503*, takes a breath, and knocks.
The door swings inward revealing a spacious office bathed in natural light. Behind a massive oak desk sits a man in his late twenties, tie loosened, eyes scanning a contract.
He looks up, startled, then registers the coffee.
Haizen Agustino
Ah, finally. I’m Haizen— Owner of the Law Firm. Payment?
He says, reaching for his wallet.
He places the steaming cups on the desk, the aroma instantly cutting through the sterile air.
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth
₱180 total.
He states, pulling out his handheld POS.
As the latter swipes his card, the machine beeps approval. As the receipt prints, Haizen lifts a cup, inhales, and sighs.
Haizen Agustino
Perfect timing. I’ve been drafting an appeal all morning—this is exactly what I needed.
Haizen Agustino
Sit for a sec? I’ll pay extra for the service.
He hesitates. He’s on a schedule, deliveries queued on his app—but the offer feels like a lifeline.
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth
Sure, why not...
He says, sliding into the chair.
Haizen leans back, eyes flicking to Xydrial’s bag.
Haizen Agustino
You’re a delivery guy, right? Studying something?
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth
Computer science. Graduating soon.
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth
This is just… filler until I land a dev role.
Xydrial admits, voice steady despite the flutter.
Haizen Agustino
Smart move. Ever think about interning here?
Haizen Agustino
We sometimes need fresh eyes on case‑management software.
Haizen Agustino
I could put in a word.
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth
I… I’ll think about it.
He replies, trying to sound casual.
A soft chime signals his next pickup.
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth
I gotta run.
Xydrial says, standing. While the latter hands him an extra ₱50 tip and a business card.
Haizen Agustino
Take this. Call me if you’re serious. And thanks for the coffee—saved my sanity.
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth
*Chuckles*
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth
Good to know then.
Xydrial tucks the card into his bag, feeling the weight shift. Outside, the city buzzes, but inside his chest a new possibility flickers.
He steps back into the elevator, coffee aroma lingering, and whispers to himself.
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth
Maybe this delivery isn’t just coffee. Maybe it’s a door opening.
Beau Author
How was the first interaction??? Pretty plain?
Beau Author
Who cares though 😗
Beau Author
Where do you think I came from?
Beau Author
I'll go see you for the Chapter 2🪻
Chapter 2: I'll Bet, Name Your Price!
I'll Bet, Name Your Price!
The clock strikes midnight.
The neon sign casting a gaudy glow on the wet pavement.
[The order had been clear: deliver a box of pizza worth triple his usual payment. ]
He checked the address again, wondering if it was some kind of prank. But the app confirmed the order, and the tip was too good to pass up.
He pushed open the door, and the thumping bass enveloped him. A burly guard blocked his path, arms crossed.
He held up the pizza box.
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth
Delivery. Someone ordered this?
The guard raised an eyebrow.
"Don’t see your name on the list. You’re not going in without clearance.”
He dialed the customer’s number, but before it rang, the phone vibrated in his hand.
📲“Hey, it’s me. I see you’re there. Give the phone to the guard.”
A low voice said. Xydrial hesitated, then handed the phone to the guard.
The guard listened for a moment, nodded, and handed the phone back.
"Alright, kid. You’re good.”
He stepped aside, revealing a dimly lit corridor beyond the bar’s main room.
“Go straight. He’s waiting.”
His feet walk him through an endless wall. Sweats, smoky-dusty were clinging at everyone's body, songs are loud as no one knows what they're talking, and how they dance to the tune of quite popular songs tgat being played.
Few seconds past, he then found himself looking to the door's number–22.
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth
I'm here..?
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth
Should I knock?
But before he could done a single move, the door creaked open with a soft touch, revealing a man who seemed almost otherworldly in the dim light.
Xydrial’s eyes widened as he took in the sight.
The man stood tall, his dark hair cascading down his shoulders like a rich waterfall, deep black and luxuriant. His black shirt were undone at the top few buttons, exposing a hint of chest, and his eyes—oh, his eyes—held a depth that made Xydrial’s breath hitch.
They sparkled with a mixture of sweetness and a profound intensity that felt almost piercing.
Desmond D'Angelo
Ah, the pizza delivery boy.
The man said, his voice low and smooth, like honey dripping over warm bread. He stepped forward, his movements fluid, almost graceful.
Desmond D'Angelo
Come in, come in. I’ve been waiting.
Xydrial Liam Hemsworth
*Nodded*
Xydrial felt a shiver run down his spine as he entered the room. The air inside was thick with an almost palpable sense of anticipation.
The latter took the pizza box from Xydrial’s hands, his fingers brushing against Xydrial’s, sending a spark of electricity through him.
Desmond D'Angelo
Thank you.
He said, his eyes locking onto Xydrial’s for a moment that felt like an eternity.
Desmond D'Angelo
You can go now.
Desmond D'Angelo
You’ve been paid, haven’t you?
Xydrial nodded, still feeling the weight of the man’s gaze. As he turned to leave, he heard the man’s voice again.
Desmond D'Angelo
And tell no one about this, okay?
Desmond D'Angelo
This little meeting never happened.
The words sent a shiver down Xydrial’s spine. What was he getting himself into? But the money was already in his account, and he had no intention of looking a gift horse in the mouth.
He nodded again, this time more to himself than the man, and made his way back out into the night, the sounds of the bar muffled behind him.
Xy left the room, and went back to his house as that was his last work to do.
💭My eyes closed shut in pure bliss as the flavors of the pizza danced on my tongue. The cheese was gooey, the sauce was tangy, and the crust had just the right amount of crunch.
For a moment, all his worries melted away, and it was just him and the food. But that serenity was short-lived.
Then the door burst open, slamming against the wall. A man in his late fifties stormed in, face reddened with rage, silver hair disheveled.
Alejandro D'Angelo
You think you can just ignore me?
Alejandro D'Angelo
After everything I’ve done for you?
He bellowed, veins bulging in his neck.
The younger man opened his eyes, expression unchanging.
No flicker of surprise, no hint of anger.
He set the pizza box aside, fingers wiping delicately at the corners of his lips with a napkin.
His gaze met the older man’s, eyes like two voids—deep, dark, and utterly indifferent.
He asked, voice low and smooth, a stark contrast to the older man’s fury.
The older man’s face turned purpler, spit flying as he shouted.
Alejandro D'Angelo
You ungrateful—!
Desmond raised a hand, palm outward, and the older man’s words halted mid-sentence. Not out of obedience, but as if he’d suddenly forgotten what he was saying.
Desmond D'Angelo
I believe our discussion can wait.
Desmond D'Angelo
You look...overwrought. Perhaps you should sit down
The older man’s anger seemed to deflate, replaced by a mix of fear and wariness. He took a step back, eyes darting around the room as if searching for something to anchor himself to.
While Desmond leaned back in his chair, fingers steepled under his chin, waiting
Desmond D'Angelo
Speak. *Mono tone*
Desmond D'Angelo
*Lit a cigarette*
Alejandro D'Angelo
You're making a grave mistake, Desmond!
Alejandro spat, his anger still simmering beneath the surface.
Alejandro D'Angelo
This is the opportunity of a lifetime. We expand into Europe, into Asia, and we make our mark.
Alejandro D'Angelo
We can't let others take what's ours.
Desmond leaned back in his chair, eyes never leaving his father's face.
Desmond D'Angelo
*Exhale the smoke*
Desmond D'Angelo
I've told you before, Father. Expanding now would be...unwise.
Desmond D'Angelo
The landscape has changed. We're not the only ones playing this game.
Alejandro D'Angelo
*Scoffed*
Alejandro D'Angelo
You're paranoid. We've built an empire here. No one would dare touch us.
Desmond's expression remained calm, detached.
Desmond D'Angelo
You're underestimating the competition. And overestimating our own strength. We're not invincible, Father.
Desmond D'Angelo
We're a target. And if we move now, we'll be the ones getting hit first.
Alejandro's face turned redder, his voice rising.
Alejandro D'Angelo
You're not thinking about the future.
Alejandro D'Angelo
You're thinking about your own interests, your own comfort.
Alejandro D'Angelo
You're not a true D'Angelo.
Desmond's gaze didn't waver.
Desmond D'Angelo
I'm thinking about survival. And I won't risk everything we've built on a gamble.
The air between them grew thick with tension. Victor's anger was palpable, but Desmond's calm demeanor was a counterweight, refusing to budge.
Desmond D'Angelo
Didn't you give me this position at the age of 14, Father?
Desmond D'Angelo
I made it through, even by eliminating my siblings. *Venom tone*
Desmond D'Angelo
You've always said I was groomed for this. That I was born to lead.
Desmond D'Angelo
What's changed now?
Alejandro's expression faltered for a moment, a flicker of guilt crossing his face before he regained his composure.
Alejandro D'Angelo
That was different, Desmond.
Alejandro D'Angelo
You were young, impressionable. I was molding you into the leader I knew you could be.
Alejandro D'Angelo
But now...now you're old enough to understand the game. To take risks
Desmond leaned forward, his voice taking on a sharper edge.
Desmond D'Angelo
You mean take risks that benefit you. You're not concerned about the business, Father.
Desmond D'Angelo
You're concerned about your own legacy. And you're willing to risk everything to get it.
The room fell silent, the tension between them crackling like electricity. Alejandro's face darkened, his eyes flashing with anger, but Desmond didn't back down.
For a moment, it seemed like the air itself was holding its breath, waiting to see how the power struggle would play out.
Desmond D'Angelo
But, maybe I can do something about that...
Alejandro D'Angelo
I'll bet, name your price!
Desmond D'Angelo
I'll send the contract to your office tomorrow morning, and no worries I'll do it personally.
Alejandro D'Angelo
Well then, I should see myself out.
Desmond D'Angelo
As you should. *Smiling*
Alejandro D'Angelo
*Frown* 💭 What kind of person made this kid turn into a lunatic one?
Alejandro D'Angelo
No need call someone, I'll do it.
Desmond D'Angelo
Good, 'cause I'll not put a single work just to see you outside.
Alejandro left the room leaving his son alone with sickening expression.
Desmond D'Angelo
*Smirking* 💭 Let see... Who should be the next target?
Desmond D'Angelo
*Look toward to unfinished boxes of pizza*
Desmond D'Angelo
*Smiling* He's cute... *Whisper*
Alejandro D'Angelo
52 years old
