Morning light filtered softly through the tall windows of the mansion, spilling golden rays across the polished marble floors. The air was cool and quiet, broken only by the faint chirping of birds in the garden outside. Long curtains swayed gently with the breeze, carrying in the fresh scent of dew.
In the stillness of the grand halls the marble floors echoed with the sound of tiny footsteps. A little girl around nine, dressed in a soft frock with her hair tied loosely, darted through the long corridors, her laughter trailing behind her like music. The grand chandeliers and towering walls seemed too serious for a child so full of life, yet she belonged there in her own way-bringing warmth to the cold halls with every carefree run.
