Kookie walked into the high school hallway, his eyes cast down, avoiding eye contact with others. The sounds of chatter and lockers slamming shut seemed to overwhelm him. He had done this before, many times, but it never got easier. The familiar anxiety crept in, making his shoulders tense.
V, standing by his locker, noticed Kookie's guarded demeanor. There was something about the way he moved, like a ghost drifting through the crowds, that caught V's attention.
As Kookie passed by, V caught his eye, but Kookie quickly looked away, his expression a mask of indifference. V's gaze lingered on Kookie, sensing a depth behind his eyes that didn't quite match his reserved exterior

"You mean the new kid? I think his name is Jeon Jungkook. It's his Fifth transfer this year, I heard."

V watched Kookie for a moment longer, then turned back to bogum

"hesitates, unsure of what to make of V's sudden interest" l.. I don't know...

didn't answer.. just went away from V
As Kookie walks away, V can't help but feel like he's just scratched the surface of Kookie's story.
