Night time, Rain tapping on the windows of an empty corridor. Valt’s back brushes the cool wall. Shu’s hand is planted beside his head, his voice low enough to send a shiver down Valt’s spine.

“Still running?” His voice was low, teasing.
Valt swallows. He’s never seen Shu like this. The space between them feels smaller than a stadium.

Shu leaned in, eyes steady. “I like it when you fight back.”

The sun was still low when Valt jogged up the steps of the arena. He have never seen the stadium this quiet.

(typing as he runs) "I’m almost there!! Don’t start without me "
Inside, Shu’s Bey burst across the stadium with a sharp whine.
Shu kurenai
(typing back) “Then hurry.”
Valt pushed open the door. The echo of his footsteps filled the empty hall. Shu looked up, eyes locking on him for a second longer than usual.
Volt Aoi
Whoa… you’re seriously early. Practicing for something?
Valt laughed, but it came out a little awkward. The arena felt huge and quiet
Just the two of them and the sound of spinning tops.
