LUKE POV.

There's this blazing alarm tone ringing from my phone. Which is totally disturbing my deep sleep. I woke up in a groggy mood. Today is a week day. It's not like I hate working or going to work. Like come on even if how much I seem like a workaholic everyone hates a big 9 to 5 jobs if it hits with overtime. That's the worst situation and day ever. And today being Wednesday makes it even worse. It makes me seem like a loveless person who is waiting for a lifelong soulmate like how I'm waiting for my Saturday.

I lazily got up from my bed, and started my day. After getting my office clothes and taking a soft towel I step into the shower. Once my body feels the hot droplets of water all the laziness from my body and mind vanishes. It's really so hard stepping out of the shower once you are inside.

After stepping out of the shower after contemplating a lot. I started getting dressed. The time was 7...which is early to others but not to me. How much of a lazy person I'm, at the end of day time is time. I had to reach the office by 8, which is actually early for most of the workers, but I need to reach a bit fast to set and get my desk organized. After getting totally dressed and set with my watch. I look at myself finally in the mirror. I won't say I'm not handsome or good-looking... I know my worth and good-looking I'm...it's not overconfidence like how my sister says it as. Furthermore, I just know my worth and I love myself. After doing a final check with my outfit and my getting my laptop bag, I finally step out of my room and go to the hall.

As soon as I step out my sister's shrilling voice greets me. "Mom!!! Can you stop feeding me the freaking banana" says my sister's Anna, short for Annabelle. I know it's a devil's name, but my mom loved the movie, and she saw the movie when she was pregnant with Anna. My presence was quickly noticed by my mother and sister. Which is a bad thing because I wanted to leave as quickly and quietly as possible. "Oh! You are here," says my mom. Her name is Rosie. She is a single parent. I seriously don't know a thing about my dad. She never talked to us about it. " Mom it's already late, I have to go" I say with a discouraged voice. " At least eat a little before you leave, don't go out with an empty stomach" my mom said..." mom it's such a waste telling that control freak idiot" my arrogant little sister says. I wish I could just take away all her limited edition figures and irritate her, but it's already late. " I have to go mom, don't worry I'll be eating at the office cafeteria. And I leave my house before my mother can talk. It's hard to argue with her. It's not that late from my house to the office. I went to the bus stop. Right now the time is 7.30. It takes 15 mins for me to get to my office. The first bus to my office arrives at this time. I step into the bus once it comes to the bus stop. Exactly at 7.45 I reached my office. I went to my desk and started clearing it and organizing stuff to do for today. By 8 I started clearing off everything and ready to start my day.

THIRD-PERSON POV

As the time passed with Luke busy with doing pre- preparations for office, the workers slowly started to come. Luke was under the development department. A guy with dark brown hair steps behind Luke silently to surprise him.

"Ron, I know you are here" Luke said with an obvious voice. "Oops... I just wanted to scare you!!" Ron said with a smile fully covering his face. He is Ron short for Robin. He and Luke were best friends from childhood. Maybe that's the reason why Luke is comfortable with Ron… Ron is the only person who was willing to enter into Luke's personal space.

As people slowly start filling the once empty room, everyone greets each other to start a new office day. Unlike Luke, Ron is an extrovert and he is friends with everyone from the office maybe that's the reason why even though everyone was scared of talking to Luke because of his uprightness, everyone feels at ease with Ron beside them.

After a while their team manager came into the department. Everyone turns their heads, it's not because of the team manager but the new handsome face that is coming along with the team manager. As everyone sees the new face… The murmurs begin.

"OMG he is so handsome" a girl says with an exciting voice.

" I know right… Looks like our department is going to get another new handsome face" the other girl says.

"I don't regret coming to this department" the other girl says

"Looks like we got another new competition" the boys say disappointed. As they also know with these 3 handsome faces in the department the squid looking like them are no match.

"EVERYONE LOOK HERE" The team managers raised his voice to get the attention from the workers. Even though they were looking their mind is elsewhere thinking about this handsome here right here.

"As you can see this is your new member in this department, welcome him. " The team manager says.

" Hello… I'm Issac. Please take care of me. I'm from the marketing department"

"Exactly I thought I saw him somewhere" the murmurs begin

"Everyone stop talking" the team manager says. "As we are short of staff with the new project, we recruited this member from the marketing department. He is diligent, so take care of him and show him all our required issues of this project" the team manager says.

"Ron! Why don't you teach the new member? Even tho he's technically not a new person, he is new to our department, What Do you say? You are Doing it right" the team manager says in a way that if he refused there's overtime for sure.

"Yes sir! Don't worry!" Ron says. "Good" the team manager smiles and leaves the department room to his office room. As soon as the team manager leaves, the rest of the office staff surround Issac.

During this whole scenario there's only one person who isn't paying any mind. it's not like he is arrogant or self esteemed about himself . He is just contemplating what to eat for lunch as he is already hungry.

LUKE POV

The lunch hour came quickly before I even knew it. Maybe because I'm so hungry... I couldn't wait to eat so soon. I'm waiting for Ron who was talking about something to that newcomer. "What was his name again - aah yes I guess it's like Ian or something. I'm not so sure ". While I'm in my thoughts Ron kept his face close to me and shook me hard to get me out of my daydream.

"Come to Earth Luke!!" "What is it? I'm hungry… Come let's go" I said. I also noticed that new guy beside Ron. And trust me I'm not going to love what's about to come out of Ron's mouth.

"Luke…. My best friend ever, Can we take Issac with us too???" Ron said. So his name is Issac. Wow, I'm not even close. "Whatever" well that's what I said I mean it's not like I can delay...we can't fight with Ron. He is like someone who argues even if he knows he is wrong just for fun. And I'm so hungry right now to even mind that right now.

"Thank you" Issac said. I looked at him for a sec and was walking forward. I mean his voice was so deep and it kind of surprised me. As I was walking I could hear Ron saying to Issac not to mind my unsocialable behavior.

By the time we reached the office mess, a bunch of hungry people were already present. I feel kind of irritated and anxious with this many people. So I try to grab Ron's hand.

But the hand I grabbed is kind of big and rough unlike Ron's which is small and smooth. So I immediately looked back to see which human hand I grabbed. And yeah it's Issac's. So I try to pull it away and say sorry. But he kind of held my hand tightly and said - "don't worry sir Luke I'm here. ".

I was actually shocked, and I tried to search for Ron my safe place as I tried to look around, Issac said "Ron sir at the back, he kind of missed the line" I was even more irritated with that statement. But I tried to control myself. And not going to lie...Issac's hand is big and warm. And I along with Issac, ordered our food and were waiting out of the line for Ron.

Not going to lie searching for Ron is hard. That idiot is short and he kind of gets mixed into the crowd. And I look at my sideways for Issac. He is kind of not cut that off he is so tall I mean come on I'm tall too...something goes like 6 feet, but he seems like 6.4 or 6.5 I'm not sure. He is so tall. And trust me I'm kind of jealous of how tall he is.
