"I remember the day I saw the box, on the box a paper with strange handwritten was placed there. Opening that box was one of my greatest crime in this world, but I was only a child, how could I know, that the box was instead a prison to hold that thing."

With the sun rising we could hear the country road music from Mr Robert's old retro radio, Mr Robert was are neighbor, he was old and his wife had long died, he did not have any child or person to look after him, but he was so kind that all the so rounding neighbors always visited him with food and water, he was the oldest in town and knew the town history more than everybody.

looking out from my Window, I could see old Robert on his lawn relax chair murmuring the country road sound.

"Brian get down here, you are already late for school, Billy, Scott, and Mike are waiting for you down stairs"

"Okay mom, I am coming "

Wearing my shirt written on it 'Mystery' , I left my room excited, today was a special day for I and my my friends, we were to visit the old caves together and are parents were eventually not aware or else that was punishment for sure.

"Be careful on your way to school son and avoid strangers"

Bitting on the sandwich that Mom made for me, she kissed me on my cheeks and arrange my hair.

"Yes mom, understood."

Nonchalantly answering to her worries, I left the house, and find my friends, mom waved at them and the responded.

"Good morning Mrs Winchester"

They answered simultaneously and carried their bikes prepared to live, riding away I waved one last time to mom before going.

On our way to school, we were chit-chating on how we will organise ourselves for the exploration.

Billy was destin to be a playboy, his easy manner of speaking and free mind made his argument and points convincing to those who listen to him.

Scott was quite different from Billy, his father was a religious pastor and he was very strict in nature, so Scott took from his father and was always well dress and his hairs were always neat and cut, we usually call him the pastor.

Mike was more of the shy and introvert person, he hardly spoke to others except us since we all knew each other since birth, we could say, Mike was the intellect of our band, with his big lenses, he always had a book with him and never lacked something to say or recherche on.

And me Brian, was more of the normal boy who had all their characteristics, I was handsome, charming and attractive, I was quite knowledgeable, and could speak to any girl without any difficulty, I was the masterpiece of this group.

We arrived school and parked our bikes, and left for class.

In all school they always have a boy who wants to show his domination over the others, we had one too, his name was Jackson, he was the type not to fat not to pale, a little taller than us, always accompanied by his younger brother, Daniel, who was actually the one carrying the weight, and a pale boy called Pitch. These trio always stood head on with us and played us dirty tricks. And as usual when they saw us entering the class, the came to look for us, And as usual Jackson was the one to speak while the others remain silent.

Jackson:" yo banana face, are you still willing to go against my demands."

As Billy tried to retaliate, I blocked his way and shook my head, pointing at the door with the movement of my chin. Our teacher, Mrs Vanelopé was staring at us with her shining glasses waiting for us to start a fight, which would end with another punishment.

But I eventually answered Jackson's provocation.

"How can a brainless pig like you understand the meaning of leadership, I would never be controlled by a shameless and inferior being like you"(with a smirk)"

Jackson only had force as power, and lacked in everything, his brain was empty and he always reacted before thinking, I did not understand how this pig came to control this two, maybe they were also stupid in a sense.

Daniel was the one to hold Jackson from hitting me at the end, I did not move, I stood there looking at him while Scott and Billy were seriously laughing, not only them everybody around us were laughing, Jackson could not bear it, he pushed away Daniel and aim a fist at me, but before the fist could touche my face, it was blocked.

"Jackson what are you doing?, fighting early in this morning"

"sir!, Wait sir!, I can explain sir!!"

Seeing how Jackson was carried away by Mrs Vanelopé, I could only laugh, I waved at Billy and Scott, and we went to our seats, entering class Mike was already on his seat, reading his elementary textbook in géomorphologie.

We knew Mikes nature and weak personality, so when facing Jackson and his band we always avoided putting Mike inside.

But this was my best moment of the day, at this time, before class starts, she always entered with her group of girls. Seeing her smile always marked a happy day for me.

She was the stars of all the stars in the universe, she had a pony tail brown hair, and charming and cute smile, with pink lips, her eyes were blue and she was always energetic and active in everything she did, I considered her my ideal woman.

"Yes my ideal woman haa!!"

"Brian your mouth is Drowning with spit and everybody is looking at you and it's quite disgusting"

With Billy my bench partner bringing me back from my d'illusions, I rearrange my self and looked at the board, I could here people talking and approaching the class. from there, the next band entered the class.

Catherine the head of the band was they girl in question, my ideal wife and each time I saw her my heart could only accelerate like that of a shooting star. But she was never alone, she was always accompanied by Vanessa, Erika and Eliza (Elizabeth).

Vanessa hard short and curve hairs, for a child, she had a good adult style hair, normal for a daughter whose parents hold a Barber shop.

Erika and Eliza are twin sisters, it is said that each time they are far from each other, one could feel what the other is feeling. Both of them had long short hairs.

With Mrs Vanelopé entering the class, I new Jackson would not be coming. So I forgot the issues regarding him and focus on the event of today, our class had windows with decorative drawings on it but we could still see the outside environment, looking outside I was inpatient and excited, finally they day has come to visit the cave.

"In a dark side of a cave, drops of water can be heard from the spikes protruding from the ceiling with a top sound, far deeper, a cave like alleyway leads to an enclosed room, and inside the room, the sound of something scratching a box could be heard".....

While Mrs Vanelopé was writing on her book, we the students were actually dicoursing or reading, or steal, sleeping, everybody was doing his or her things quietly, Jackson was back and from his red eyes and hands, he most have received serious beatings, that was the deal passed with the principal, each time I and Jackson fought we were beaten.

But we did not have Jackson's time today, our sets were ready, class would be over soon, so we were finalizing our preparation for our adventure in the cave.

"Guys are you all ready, we always waited for this moment since old Mr Robert told us about the cave"

"Of course we are!"

"I am."

"......"

Looking at Mike he finally answered but we could all see through him, he was reluctant to go, we had to join force in other to convince him, even Billy had a hard time convincing him.

"Brian what are you guys planning"

"Wow!?, all this equipments parked in your back are for whic......hmmm!"

Billy, as fast as ever caught Vanessa's mouth and closed it before she could finish her words.

The four girls were always interested in our activities and always wanted to watch. Catherine came closer to me and held my hand and with shining eyes asked me to tell them.

The bell rang and everybody was heading home, except I, Billy actually holding his face in annoyance, Mike, Scott, Catherine, Vanessa, Eliza, and finally Erika. women's are dangerous.

I had revealed everything to Catherine the moment I saw her smiling, Billy got annoyed but he to was carried away by Vanessa's serious and cute face and with her chocolate colour, Billy could not help but feel something for her, we were actually kids but we knew the meaning of love.

Riding our bikes in direction of the mountains, we knew the location of the cave, each of us took our bikes and headed towards the entrance, from there we equipped our selves, each of us had a talkie walkie, a rope, bottle of water, and a medical box we took from our home without permission, if we were caught by our parents, we will be surely grounded by our parents until we reach college.

"Since we did not prepare for an expedition of eight, one boy would take full responsibility of one girl"

Blushing everybody nodded, why were they blushing?, Catherine came closer to me and explain what they understand as full responsibility, and from there, my face was red through out the entering of the cave.

In the cave, they were numerous gallery and holes every where, tying the long rope on our stomach, we did not attempt to explore the cave separately, we went together, and took a particular direction, this was because the had written languages on the wall.

Mike was particularly fascinated by the writings, given his lamp to Erika, he took out his camera and took pictures of all the writings he saw.

Billy was in charge of marking and watching our back living sticks behind us, so we could find our way out in case of an emergency.

Mike and Scott were charged with the role to escort and protect the girls, and me, the head was to guide the way forward and verify if they is no danger, I took after my dad, he was a great military man who died in his task and for that I would always respect him and try everything to be like him.

"Hmm!?, What is this place, it those not look like a cave at all but more of an underground alleyway which have been caved, Hmmm..., Mike come see this."

Calling Mike from the back, he came looking directly at were I was pointing.

"Wow!?, Guys come see this.."

while everybody was gathering, Mike inspected the walls and came out with the direct conclusion I had but more precise.

"These walls have been caved a long time ago, they are actually very old."

"Old at which level!?"

"Older than Mr Robert and maybe the town it's self"

Everybody exclaimed with a 'WOW!?' sound, and started touching the walls, After covering a significant distance it was getting late and the girls were already tired, which annoyed Billy.

"I knew you girls would slow us down!"

"Shut up don't annoy me!"

"What did you say!?"

"Shut up!!"

Looking at Billy and Vanessa arguing among themselves, I could only laugh silently, but later turn red when Catherine leaned on me in pretext she was tired, Scott and Eliza were getting along very well, their characters were matching well, and talking about characters, we had this two Mike and Erika, they two brain box, both of them spoke with their actions, Mike was examining the wall while Erika was looking at the floor, both carried a lot of samples with them and we're smiling with red faces avoiding eye contact, when I thought of this expedition as a success.

Rumble!!!!, A land slide was surely occurring outside because the cave was shaking, the girls were frightened by the movement, we decided to evacuate as fast as possible before the vibrations got worst and the ceiling starts falling on our heads.

But as we were about to live the alley way cave, I heard something strange.

"Huh!?"

"Brian what are you doing!?, hurry!!"

Billy urging me to hurry, I turned my head to follow but the sound got larger.

"what was that!?"

"Brian, for God sake, hurry!!"

Turning and throwing my bag for Billy to catch,and untying the rope, I waved my hands and making signs to them, that I have to check something.

Putting a complicated expression and with the situation getting dangerous, they had to first secure the girls, and had no time to object my decision.

I went back in the alleyway of the cave and continued straight forward, after few steps, I could see the end of the alleyway, entering the a room like cave, I saw a strange temple, with cat faces drawn every where.

literally speechless, I could see a box with a paper on it, it resemble a talisman, I knew the utility of talisman, it was to either imprisoned or capture creatures who are dangerous, but the one calling me since then was asking for help, and right know the voice was begging me to remove the talisman from the box, I was not quite convince so I stood there and looked at the box.

The box was dark and covered with talisman with one leading talisman covered red, I came closer to the box, but I did not forget the sound of the rumble, touching the box, I could feel something moving inside and with a Crack sound I open the box. At first nothing came out, so I looked inside the book, the strange voice had also stopped, I was rendered speechless, was my imagination playing with me.

At that moment, a shadow was growing behind me, the hands were expanding and a big smile was forming revealing long and sharp teeth, his head was like that of a cat and his body was two times that of a man, as he was opening his mouth he suddenly shrunk and disappeared.

Sensing the chill in my back, I turn my head fast, only to see a cat starring at me.

"Where is this cat coming from?"

They cat had white gloves on his front paws, he looked at me before turning his head and disappearing in the dark, confused I carried the box and a book on the floor and exited the room cave.

Outside, Billy was anxious, the others all carried worried faces, before they all push a breath of relieve, they saw me coming out of the smoke and smiling at them, even though I got hit in the head by all of them I knew they were all worried and I apologize, we headed home on our bikes and separated later, everybody took the road to their respective homes, arriving home and greeting mom with a kiss, I was question on why I was dusty l, I told her that I fell on the ground while riding but I came out with no scratch, with that I headed to the rest room and had a bath later i left for my bed forgetting the black box.

Meanwhile, in the cave a cat was coming out and murmuring a strange song, yes the cat could speak, the cat looked straight forward on the road we took and followed it. A wild dog passing by tried to catch it but ended up being swallowed, the cat having his meal continued his journey while murmuring his strange song.

"Marks of tires drawing a zigzag formation on the road, the birds and animals were all crying out in fear, as we follow the lines, a car is seen deep in a valley, the car is shaking vigorously, the car door was open and a hand could be seen out, but something dark with white gloves stretch out and carried the hand, the sound of chewing could be heard, and when the creature came out of the car, all the animals in the forest when silent, the strange being swallowed the hand and continued his journey in search for the cat box"

Daybreak was always accompanied by Mr Robert's country road music coming out of his old retro radio, today was Saturday and they was no school, so I slept a little longer.

The group could not gather today, because each of us had to take care of our personal duties at home.

Scott had church service with his father and was always preparing the activities of tomorrow, since it would be Sunday.

Billy had to help his mother take care of his his siblings while she was out, Billy's mother was the town sheriff and during the week, when Billy was at school, she left her two daughters with Mrs Mary, her neighbor, a kind and aged woman but not more than Mr Robert.

Mike accompanied his father every Saturday to their ranch and help in the chores there.

And me, I had nothing special to do, except helping mom carrying food to Mr Robert which was actually now.

"Billy come down here, done forget to take this food to Mr Robert, he most be hungry, I am going out with Jenny, no playing and study."

"Okay mom!"(smirk) hehe what did I say.

Going down the stairs, mom had already left, I saw a packed up lunchbox on the table with a memo on it, I took they memo and as usual Mr Robert's name was on it.

Taking out milk in the fridge, I remembered they box of they cave, so I when and collected it, carried the lunchbox and headed to Mr Robert's house.

Arriving in front of his door, I knocked his door twice and called his name, five minutes later the door opened and Mr Robert was staring at me with a smile.

"My son, what brings you here this early morning!?"

"My mom send me, so I could hand you food she prepared for me"

"Hohoo!, your mom is too generous towards me, I may marry her one day huff..huff!..come in, come in."

Mr Robert, change the topic when he realized that I was staring at him trying to figure out his joke.

Entering his house, it was a modest and comfortable place, where everything was well arrange and neatly kept, even though he was old he did not like and environment that was dirty and unkempt. Putting the lunchbox on the table, something captured my attention.

"Hmm!?, Mr Robert were did you find this boxes?"

Taking away the lunchbox box from the table, he looked at me first before looking at the boxes lying on the shelve, the boxes were clean and well arrange, and where placed on a shelve were it would be difficult for a child to reach.

"Hmm, the are just decorative boxes I made, why asking?"

Taking the lunchbox box to the kitchen, he was waiting for my answer and eventually I answered him.

"Nahh!, nothing special, I had found one when visiting the cave yesterday with Bill and the others"

And with that, with a bank sound on the floor, the lunchbox was scattered on the floor with the food inside.

"Mr Robert!!, My mother cooked this food for you what are you doing?.......Mr Robert!?"

"What did you just say!?"

Meanwhile Sheriff Brenda, Billy's mother was shocked of what she was seeing right know. Very early in the morning she had a call from Tom, her partner, that the were in a complicated situation and the needed help immediately, forcing her to leave Billy with the kids, at first she was reluctant, but know, after seeing this scene she could only call for renforcement, the situation was worst than complicated.

In front of her, an almost destroyed car with blood everywhere, the bodies were missing and the impact of the blood could only mean the thing or person that killed the Husband and his wife were or was quite savage, but with an unknown reason the passenger sit were the baby was, was lacking blood, but they child was missing without any trace, and nobody could know were the child was since, even the dogs could not sense anything!?.

"Brenda!, come have look at this footprint, something is not right here!"

".....Hmm!?, what the hell is this!?"

"Not only are they strange, they are quite big for an ordinary cat?"

Sheriff Tom placed his leg on the large footprint and was shocked by the discovery.

"Brenda, is either we are faced with a serial killer or something much bigger, Brenda..?, what's wrong, why is your face like that!?."

Pointing with her finger, Tom was shocked at the view she was pointing at, no instead at the direction she was pointing.

The direction the strange killer took was no other than 'WINSLOW', their town. Brenda did not waste time, she ran to her car and reached for her phone, she dialed on it and later someone picked up the phone.

["Mom!?, is they any prob.......!?"]

Before Billy could finish his words, Brenda cut him and spoke, she gave out various instructions and warning about not to go out today.

"Billy listen to me, close all the doors, done live anybody enter, call Mrs Nora, Brian's mother ask her to go and warn the mayor we are in deep crise!!, have you heard Billy!"

Billy was worried, his body never reacts like this even when she is angry, this was fear, fear of imminent death.

"Brenda, the dogs are sensing something, it is approaching at fast speed!!"

"What!?, send the dogs"

"Already done, but I can't hear them anymore!?"

"What the hell!?"

"something is approaching our location, Thomson prepare to fire!!"

"Roger!!."

"Billy, I have to go!"

["Wait mom, what's going on?, mom!!"]

Thomson was the first to fire and also the first to be beheaded in seconds, later Tom was caught and his arms were cut and swallowed. Tom did not even have the chance to shout that his head was slices and eaten, Brenda who had her hands occupied with her Gluck 17 and her phone was paralyzed with fear, she could still her Billy shouting her name through the line.

Putting her phone on her eye she said her last words.

"Billy, mom love you all"

["What!?"]

The sound of flesh being ripped apart could be heard through the phone which was on the floor, Billy was shocked and frightened by the sound and later the line cut, on the floor sobbing not knowing what happened to his mother, he remembers her last other.

"Angela, wear your shoes we are going out!, be fast about that!"

"Why are you shouting!?"

"Hurry!"

"Okay!!, gosh!, what's wrong with him today!?"

Billy ran inside his room took his bag, later entered his mother's room and open the drawer and took out a Gluck 17, which his mom kept in case of an emergency, he carried Alicia who was a baby, and later send and S.O.S through his talkie walkie, for those he knew and had absolute confidence on them. later he locked the door to the house and was prepared to leave.

"Billy!?, what about mom!?"

"..."

"I want mama!"

Seeing his sisters with worried face, he forced a smile and said.

"Mom would be quite late today, so she asked us to go and stay with Mrs Nora, so can we go"

"Okay!"

"Great, I want to play with Brian"

After convincing them, they left, Billy could only be enraged, he did not know what thing or who killed his mother, all he could do was to promise himself, it would not go unpunished.

At that moment, Brian was in a state of shock and was lost of words, looking at Robert serious face, he realized that he was not joking.

The Devil is coming for them!!
