He, Where?

Hero

Heroes don't usually die at the end; they even live on after their exploits. The one I'm going to tell is called "Hero."

His mother isn't Greek, and everything takes place on a planet called "Pandora" where a single man, "iL," reigns.

So this is the story of Hero living in a district of the square, under the supervision of a head of state. Because, beyond being the ultimate leader, "iL" was benevolent, and everywhere on the planet, people would want for nothing.

I'll include some dialogue.

Because that day, Hero knew "iL" and what he was protecting.

Immanence, beauty, goodness

In his hands, a pen, and a mandatory question from a chimera (it's an animal with a lion's head, wings, a tail, horseshoes, a crocodile's torso, and bear paws. In this story, at least).

The sheet of paper was levitating in front of him despite the hell raging all around. The whole planet was in turmoil: volcanoes, tsunamis, hurricanes, and so on.

It was at the moment when lightning struck the parchment that, with all his ease, he wrote the answer, turned around, and took "he," leaving the chimera, which, once they had disappeared, transformed into a woman and said this:

_They scared me

The Hero, "Hero," returned from his journey and settled in a small, very cozy town. He often visited the woman when he wasn't bothered by "iL" about the affairs of the unique state in which he ("Hero") had gathered all the planets. I won't tell you about interstellar travel, that would take too long.

So Hero had a daughter to whom he said one day:

_ You should learn to write

_ No

_ It saved my life, you know

_ Everyone knows, he only talks to me about that when they talk about you.

_ Your teacher says you don't write

_ Dad, my teacher isn't you

_ Well, I'll write on my hand

_ Future

_ Don't tell anyone

_ That was the answer

_ Don't tell anyone I almost made a mistake

_ And The Chimera? If she comes back?

_ That's why I'm sending you to school, come on, have a good day and write in class.

_ If I want first

_ Please

_ I'll have an ice cream

_ Which one do you want?

_ Yellow

_ Thank you, who?

_ It's so good!

_ Be polite.

_ Thank you

_ You're going to write, aren't you?

_ Yes, Dad.

_ But what are you doing?

Her daughter took out a filled notebook and wrote on the last page.

_ Look

_ Thank you

Her father accompanied her to the door of her classroom and said this before being helicoptered aboard a shuttle to the far reaches of space where he was to lay the first stone of a new space station, because imagine that back then, people could live in space.

_ Do you have your snack?

_ Yes

_ Something to drink?

_ Yes, yes, go ahead.

_ I'll be back soon.

_ Okay.

After the latter disappeared, she said this to her classmate.

_ Future tense doesn't have an "e" in it.

_ But I've always written it like that.

_ My father said it.

Because you see, Miss, Sir, or Mademoiselle, or Messieurs, the question written on the parchment was "What doesn't exist?" "And the only people in the room where this happened were the Chimera and "iL," whose real name, "Future," he was the only one to know.

What makes Hero a Hero is his great capacity for discernment, because he immediately knew that "The Woman" was actually bothered by this Man, "iL," and he got rid of her for the good of everyone, for centuries and centuries to come.

Just doing what we're asked can save lives. I'll point out in passing that our Hero didn't know how to write "iL's" name, but since his daughter's mother is the so-called "Chimera," oops, I said the end.

Anyway... write to me if you want a sequel.
