It's already past midnight, but Xian can't still fall asleep. He looked at the guy beside him who is sleeping peacefully.

'How can this guy sleep peacefully?' he thought to himself and look at the ceiling.

'From now on I have to get used sharing a bed with this guy.' he thought and close his eyes trying to have some sleep.

Two months ago, after Xian graduated his parents told him that they arranged a marriage for him. At first, he can't accept it, but he didn't do anything to refuse it specially when he finds out that his maternal grandparents were the one who decided, and he can only accept it. But after knowing about the arranged marriage he only meet his fiancé twice and didn't have a conversation and a moment together.

Yesterday, they held their wedding in a private mountain resort and their family is the only witnesses to their wedding.

Xian's POV

It's nearly dawn, but Xian didn't sleep a wink,, so he decided to get out of bed and do his morning routine. After he's done he decided to go to the mountain top to watch the sunrise. It's very cold and still dark, so he used his phone to light the way and keep on walking until he reached the peek of the mountain which only 30 minutes away from the resort. When he reached the peak it's already dawn and no one's around. He can clearly hear the sounds of gentle rustling of leaves in the wind, the first call of birds and other animals like insect. When he looked down he can see the resort and other houses from above. It's still early, so he looks around for a place to sit while waiting for the sun to rise, but he saw a huge rock on the side and decide to climb up. At the top there was a flat surface so he lay down and close his eyes. While he was waiting a group of people arrived.

"Xian is not here." a woman said while catching her breath.

"Maybe he went outside the resort to have a stroll around." a guy replied.

"His already gone when I woke up." a second guy said.

"Zeyner, why don't you call him?" a second woman suggested.

At the same time, Xian was lazy to move and talk,, so he stayed still and didn't make any sound while listening to their conversation. Since Xian was lying down on a huge rock, and it's a bit far from them so they can't see him.

"Okay." the guy called Zeyner said and take his phone.

After a few seconds, Xian's phone start to vibrate even though he is lazy to move he still answered the phone.

"Hello, where are you?" asked the guy on the phone.

"I'm on your side." Xian answered with a lazy voice and raise his right hand holding the phone.

Everyone heard his voice and saw a hand holding a phone on top of the huge rock.

"Xian, is that you? What are you doing there? Get down here, now." a woman said worriedly while everyone approached the huge rock.

"Mom, I'll go down later." Xian replied with a lazy voice and put his hand down.

The call ended and no matter how much they convince him to go down he just ignore them and close his eyes.

"Does it feel good lying down here?"

Xian slowly opened his eyes and saw Zeyner standing beside and looking down at him.

"It does." Xian replied and close his eyes again.

'It's better lying down here than lying next to you.' he thought to himself.

"Why didn't you wake me up or wait for everyone before coming here?" Zeyner asked and sit beside him.

"I didn't know that you were all planing to come here, and I don't want to disturb your sleep." he replied.

Zeyner didn't say a word and both of them fell silent.

After a few minutes, the sun start to rise, but Xian stayed still and didn't open his eyes.

"Aren't you here to watch the sunrise?" Zeyner asked.

He didn't respond but he opened his eyes and sit up. He and Zeyner both quietly watched the sunrise while the others were taking a picture.

After a while, the sun is fully out and everyone decided to go down.

The next day they went home.

Introduction

Xian Gabriel he is a Fine Arts graduate. His father Daniel Gabriel is a half Filipino and American and a business man. His mother Xu Yi Gabriel is a Chinese and a celebrity. Two younger siblings, twins Reshan and Shayen. Since he can remember he was taken care off by his paternal grandparents and grow up in America.

Zeyner Shawn mixed-race and a celebrity. His father Mark Shawn is American and a businessman. His mother Sue Shawn is a Chinese and a celebrity, Xu Yi Gabriel's best friend. Has two younger siblings Sean and Siyue.

Xian's POV

It's still noon when they arrive at Zeyner's condo unit.

He looks around the room and open one of the closet that was empty. He sighed and grab his suitcase and start unpacking.

'Do I really have to share a room and a bed with him. Seriously, he has a guest room can he just let me stay there.' thought to himself.

Since the night before their wedding, he didn't have any goodnight sleep because they have to share a bed. He always feel awkward everytime he and Zeyner were alone they never have long or deep conversation and sometimes just awkward silence. Even though he already heard, watch and read some stories about Zeyner for him he is still a stranger.

While he was unpacking he heard his mother-in-law's voice outside their room.

'Why is she here? We just parted ways an hour ago.' he thought and unpacked his things faster.

After that he went out of their room, but he just finds Zeyner on the living room sitting on the sofa while talking to someone on the phone.

'Did I heard it wrong?' he thought and headed towards the kitchen.

He didn't know how to act everytime they were alone so he decided to avoid or keep his distance from Zeyner for now to ease the awkward atmosphere between them.

He grabbed a cup of water, take a sit and take out his phone. He focused his attention towards his phone and after a few minutes he didn't notice someone approached him.

"Do you feel comfortable in this place?"

Xian was startled but calm down as soon as he saw his mother-in-law.

"I'm sorry, for startling you." his mother-in-law apologize when she saw his reaction and headed towards the fridge. When she opened the fridge there are only drinks, so he close it.

"It's okay." he replied.

He wants to ask his mother-in-law when and why is she here, but he was shy, because he thinks it's not his place to ask.

"I arrived a while ago and Zeyner told me you were unpacking, so I didn't disturb you and headed to the other room." she explained like knowing what Xian was thinking then she starts opening the cupboards searching for something.

" I have a shooting starting tomorrow and the location is nearby, so I will be staying here for a few days. I hope you don't mind." she added.

"I don't mind." he replied while watching her.

"Zeyner!" her mother-in-law shouted.

Zeyner went out of their room and headed towards the kitchen.

"Mom, what is it?" Zeyner asked.

"Why don't you have any groceries here? Are you planning to starve Xian?" Sue scolding his son.

Xian covered his mouth trying to hide his smile.

"Mom, I'm not. We just arrived from our trip, how am I going to buy some groceries. We can just order some take out for now." Zeyner trying to defend himself.

"Have you ever try buying some groceries? Haven't you always asked Mrs. Ling to buy you some groceries, why didn't you contact her?" Sue asked.

Mrs. Ling is one of the trusted person of Zeyner who he always hired to do household chores.

"I'm sorry, I forgot. I'll contact her tomorrow." Zeyner realizing his mistake.

"Sigh, order some take out then. From now on you better change, you're not living alone anymore." Sue advice to his son.

Xian were having fun listening to them and forcing himself not to show his smile. He can't believe that he will listen to his mother-in-law scolding his husband on the first day they'll be living together.

"What do you want for dinner?" Zeyner suddenly asked him.

"Anything is fine." he replied since he didn't know most of the dishes in China.

"Mom, how about you?" Zeyner asked.

"Dumplings is fine for me, but order some more dishes." Sue replied and take a sit a cross Xian.

While waiting for their dinner Sue chatted with Xian and Zeyner sit beside Xian.

"By the way, why don't you start your business here, so you don't have to travel every month?" Sue asked Xian.

"I'm sorry, but I already decided to start my business in the Philippines."

Even though Xian graduated from Fine Arts he decided to start a business. After meeting Zeyner twice he decided to visit his paternal grandparents, and he encountered a scene that encourage him to do some business. When he was about to enter college his paternal grandparents decided to move in the Philippines leaving him alone in America.

"Well, I really want you to stay here, but since that's your final decision I really can't do anything about it." Sue say's knowing she can't change his decision.

Time passed by, they finished eating dinner and went to their own room to sleep.

The next day, Zeyner and his mother-in-law have to leave for work.

"Will you be really fine staying here alone?" Sue asked him.

"Mom, I'll be fine."

"Okay, if there's anything you need contact Zeyner." Sue said.

"Yeah."

"By the way, I'll contact Mrs. Ling to buy some groceries do you need anything?" Zeyner asked.

"Nothing." he replied.

Zeyner just nodded and was about to head out, but his mom stopped him.

"Are you forgetting something?" Sue asked and look towards Xian.

Xian was puzzled and suddenly Zeyner approached him then kissed his cheeks.

"We're leaving." Zeyner says.

Xian was shocked for a second.

"Oh, okay take care." he replied and watch them leave.

'ah, finally alone. I can take a rest.' he thought and head towards the living and lie down on the sofa.

Xian's POV

' Damn, how am I going to enter now.' he thought while standing in front of a door.

When he heard the sound of the elevator he leave immediately because he doesn't want to be seen, specially he is wearing a mask and a cap.

In the past 2 days, Zeyner and his mother-in-law was busy, and he was always alone all day.

Earlier he was bored and decided to go out, but when he was about to take the elevator he realized he forgot his phone. He went back but he can't enter because he doesn't have the key and doesn't know the password. The worst he doesn't have his phone to contact Zeyner.

He went out of the building, but he doesn't know where to go cause his not familiar in any place in China.

' Where am I going now? And seriously it's cold, thankfully I have my wallet.' he thought to himself while looking around.

He decided to look for a café or any place that he can stay for a while. While he was looking around he also familiarizes himself at the place so won't be lost when he comes back.m All the café he saw was full or either on the side of the road, so he continued walking until he saw a mall.

' This is perfect I can look for something here to pass my time.' he thought and enter the mall.

He looks around, played in the arcade games and eat there, but after 4 hours he already looked around every floor of the mall. He checked the time in his watch, but it's still passed lunchtime.

'It's still early. I think they'll be home by night time again and I have to wait until that time." he thought and went out of the mall.

Zeyner's POV

It's nearly lunchtime when he finishes his photoshoot, so he decided to have his lunch at home. On the way home he bought some take-out because he didn't know if Xian can cook or not, and he can't also cook. When he arrived at his place he can't find Xian anywhere, and he only finds Xian's phone.

' Maybe he just went out, and he'll be back later.' he thought and decided to wait but after half an hour Xian didn't come back.

' Maybe he went to his parents house, but why would he leave his phone here?' he thought.

He was a bit worried, so he messaged his in-laws asking if Xian was in their place but after a few minutes he received a call from his father-in-law.

"Hello, dad."

"Xian didn't come here. Isn't Xian in your place?"

"No, he wasn't here when I arrived earlier, but he left his phone. So I didn't know where he is."

"What? Why would he go out without his phone, and he isn't familiar around the places here in the country specially around the city."

"He is not familiar? Did he get lost somewhere?" he says and start to panicked.

He didn't know what to do or how to find Xian but his father in-law told him to check any surveillance in their building and ended the call.

He then went to the central security room or control center room and asks the guard to check the footage starting this morning in the 7th floor where his condo unit was and at the entrance of the building.

" Did someone enter your room?" the guard asked.

"No, someone is missing." he replied.

They first checked the footage on the 7th floor and after watching it he realized Xian don't know the password and didn't have a key in his unit. After checking the entrance footage he went back. When he entered, his mom and in-laws were already in the living room, and they all look worried. When they saw him they immediately asked about Xian. He told them what he saw on the footage.

"He didn't know the password and doesn't have a key, so I think he'll find some place to stay." he said.

"He'll definitely do that, but he won't be staying at one place. He'll be back when he knows someone is already home." his mother-in-law said.

His father-in-law decided to search around the nearby place. He also wants to go out and search, but they stop him because they're afraid that his fans will notice or recognize him, it will cause a commotion. It's already evening his father-in-law is back but didn't find Xian. They were already very worried and start talking about calling the police for help, but after a while someone knocks on the door. He immediately went to open the door, and he finally relaxed when he saw it was Xian.

"Oh, my god. You're finally back, you made everyone worried." his mother-in-law says and hug Xian.

"Mom, Dad. What are you doing here?" Xian curiously asked.
