Good day everyone, I am the noble narrator of this here tale, I may be shrouded in mystery but please refer to me as "playmaker Destro', PMD for short, I'll be telling the story from my point of view as I observed it. Thank you.

On a sunny afternoon with not a cloud in sight, noise can be heard coming from an abandoned warehouse where a lady with long beautiful brown hair faces off against two demonic spirits, the spirits fire off a wave of malovelence at her but she easily brushes their attacks off with her spiritual light, using her light she easily banishes both demons with enough time to spare, from nearby a different voice can be heard screaming out "Mavis Mavis are you okay" to which she replies "I'm fine, it was nothing Mariam". Mariam begins to scold Mavis for her recklessness stating how dangerous it is to rush in alone when dealing with evil spirits but the nonchalant beautiful Mavis with a smile simply nods towards her in agreement as she remarks it's time to go back, prompting both girls to be on their way. Meanwhile at a distant building top an eerie light skinned handsome young man with white hair and red eyes laid down basking at the sun as he laments to himself "Humans can be such annoying creatures aren't they" to which he is replied by an appearing man dressed with skin as pale as though he were dying "indeed, master" drawing attention to himself the pale man reports " my Lord, we've located them", upon hearing these word with a smile on he's face the dark handsome young man stands to he's feet as he replies "lead the way".

Shortly after they both step into a pub filled with tough looking men, these men not only looked like thugs but had a look that seemed to say "I will break you", not flinched by them both men walk to the counter with a confident swagger where the light skinned man orders a drink as he notices all eyes are fixated on him he smiles and says loudly but calmly " Shall we begin". At roughly the same time Mavis who happens to be around the area being extremely sensitive to the spiritual world senses a sinister energy not far from her location and immediately dashes off to the source much to Mariam's dismay, the closer she got to the source the darker the weather looked as though nature was warning to stay away, upon arriving at the source she notices that there is a magical barrier surrounding the area, despite Mariam's continuous fears not to go further Mavis breaks the barrier and steps in urging Mariam to wait outside, upon arriving at the scene, she sees a scenery out of a horror movie with corpses littering the ground and at the forefront she sees a faceless being sitting atop them all while leisurely whistling as though he enjoyed he's job here, with an angry tone she asks "did you do this" to which she gets no replies, Mavis being sensitive to the spiritual world could tell immediately she set her gaze on this being that it was nothing like she had ever encountered before, it's sinister energy was so thick that it was hard to breath and so vast that it seemed to swallow all that felt it, she could feel every instinct in her telling her to run but as though tossing logic aside she steps forward and attacks this being with her spiritual light but to no avail as it showed no effect whatsoever, as she gives herself distance from the being she casts her magic spells to banish the creature but once again to no avail. Finally the patient creature steps towards her and stops in front of her before saying "little girl, don't be in a hurry it's not your time yet" as he walks closer to her once again she lets out a loud scream shouting " you demon" and a powerful blinding light envelops the building afterwhich her knees felt weak and gave out as she fell to the floor but Is instead caught by the creature before she hits the floor, upon noticing he had gotten a slight scratch on he's face the creature remarks "What an interesting human", as she loses consciousness she looks upon he's face clearly for which there Is no flesh but only a skull and asks "what are you" before losing consciousness completely.

She later on opens her eyes to a worried Mariam looking down on her as she calls out her name with tears dripping down her face, Mavis looks around and sees that the entire pub is without a trace of anyone but them, she mutters to herself "I need to become stronger to one day vanquish that Demon". At a different location, the same young light skinned man last seen at the top of the roof is sipping wine from a glass served to him by he's pale skinned servant who asks "master, you seem lively today" to which he replies "I met an interesting human today, I would like to know more about her" but as though realizing what he's servant had just said he pauses for a bit and says with a confident smile "me, lively surely you jest, how can lively be a term associated with the spirit of death himself" to which the servant replies "of course, lord death".

A few months after her encounter with death, the new semester begins at K University of which both Mavis and Marian are students of, with Mavis being a student of the music department as she had always loved music from a young age, the school is littered with students moving left and right round the school compound and within their midsts death appears as a new transfer student to the school, appearing in a mortal form he's appearance was that of a tall, handsome light skinned young man with piercing red eyes that seemingly enveloped all that came in contact with he's gaze, silent and mysterious he navigates through the school in search of he's target. Months before the semester began death had gathered information on the strange human that managed to cause him harm and had become fascinated to learn more about her, he ponders on just how dangerous she might actually be and seeks answers through personal observation and came to the decision to appear to her in mortal form so he's presence is hidden from her, with all preparations made he enrolls into the same school as Mavis, unbeknownst to her death lurks her shadows.

Mavis had never forgotten even for a day that sinister presence she had felt when she encountered that being 4 months prior and had been preparing herself to once more face it again though she often ponders on the question "why didn't he kill me that day" she knows she won't get an answer unless she can once again find that existence. Mavis and Marian head to the cafeteria and sat down together to eat, meanwhile death who had found her sat down at a diagonal angle behind her and sat while fixing he's attention on her, Marian noticing death's stare calls Mavis attention towards him asking if she had met him somewhere before to which she replies "no, I don't think I have". After eating they leave the cafeteria but death follows at a distance behind but later diverts to avoid too much suspicion, noticing he's left Marian reacts saying " maybe he's interested in you" to which Mavis playfully laughs it off.

As night falls on K University, voices of reckless students can be heard while they laugh and play in a group of 5 named Clara, mark, Harold, John and Felicia, one of them then brings up the topic "who's the bravest of us all" prompting the rest of them to take on the challenge, she suggests a game that she called the three kings of which is meant to grant access to another dimension and gain answers from the supernatural, the reckless students agree to the suggestion as they begin the ritual of the three kings, while staring into the candle, Felicia remarks that she hears someone talking to her prompting the rest to laugh but she repeats that she is serious but while laughing Mark begins hearing something too and as the room became colder, coming with the cold was an eerie wind of which carried a voice of a woman within it screaming "Let me out" as the now scared students get up the chairs begin to fly around causing them to run for their lives away from the building without looking back and having no idea just what they had released by accident.

After a few days, rumors begin to circle around the entire academy that a presence and weird events happen within the accounting building at night, these stories make their way to Mariam, who then rushes to Mavis to explain what she had heard and asked if there could be any truth to it, Mavis decides to confirm for herself how authentic the matter at hand could be. Mavis waits for night to gather before moving to action to check out the rumoured hunted building for herself, from the entrance alone sensitive Mavis could tell that there was something off about it, she could feel it clearly, the presence of a figure that should not be here, the further in she went, the more she could feel the chill and anger, the confusion and sadness of this presence, it pained her to move but nonetheless she ventured on, with the wind blowing in through the halls, she could hear it a voice carried by the wind saying to her "Let me out", she could feel the çonfusion in the voice as she pressed forward, upon arriving at the classroom where the incident took place, Mavis could feel the presence strongly resonating in that classroom, she calls out "show yourself" to which the spirit responds in kind and appears before Mavis, a young brunnete with long hair and water dripping all over her body was the appearance of this spirit. Mavis says to the spirit "I can feel your anger and resentment but I can't let you turn it on innocent people" she then proceeds to recite a banishing enchantment but the enchantment fails to capture the spirit and the spirit attacks Mavis with every item within the classroom flying towards Mavis, she manages to evade them all and tries her spiritual light on the spirit but once again fails to banish the spirit, but this time the spirit could feel the light energy that hit her and in a moment of clarity the spirit is taken aback and memories of the time she was alive came flooding into her, then she looks at Mavis upon returning to reality and asks "Am I dead" to which Mavis does not reply but the spirit mumbles on and on to herself "I can't be dead, it can't be, it can't be" till finally in a fit of rage she screams out and the cold wind circulate the area and ends up blowing Mavis away through the window she stood in front of, causing Mavis to fall from 5 stories up to hit the hard concrete ground, she begins to lose consciousness I'm mid air but is caught in the nick of time by death who jumps in the air and catches her before safely landing her on the ground, with what little consciousness she has left she could neither utter a single word not see the face of her savior clearly before completely losing consciousness, death then looks up and sees the vengeful spirit coming after Mavis and at that moment he's res eyes seemed to shine even brighter and power could be felt from he's words as he said to the spirit "get lost" to which the spirit vanishes, death then carries Mavis to the front of her dorm room and leaves her there before disappearing right as she was about to wake.
