Lily worked at the Snow company, for a while now and she finally turned 25 years old while working with Ryan her boss. While organizing some documents paper for the next meeting with the other company.

Ryan was the head leader boss of the Snow company, when he was little his father passed down the company to him. It’s been 20 years or more than 20 years, since Ryan had seen his father his mother left him when he was still young so his father took care of him mostly or his caretaker.

After organizing the document Lily handed it to Ryan her boss, while she pack her belongings preparing to go home. Ryan took the papers and headed to his office while Lily left the company after Lily had left. Ryan sat on the edge of his desk while readingng the paper carefully before putting it in the folder. Ryan walk towards his office window while drinking a cup of whiskey in his hand as he stare at the city night light.

Lily had finally made it home to her apartment, she open her apartment door with her keys and headed in while she closed the door behind her while placing the key on the counter. Lily walked towards the living room and set down her belongings and sat down on the couch while closing her eyes slowly from the tiredness. Lily sat their for 5 minutes before getting up to go take a shower, while in the shower Lily thought about Ryan silent treatment towards her and everyone else today. Lily thought about talking to Ryan will help him come out of his own comfort zone, but everyone else knows about his life before lily even did.

Ryan finally left his office and headed home with his stuff, he thought about his past he knew that his father really never pay any attention to him when he was little. Ryan didn’t drive back home he drove to his father house, he parked near his father mansion and sat in his car waiting while thinking about something. Ryan soon got out of his car and started walking toward the door, he ring the door bell while waiting for someone to opened it for him, his father butler open the door and his name was Mr. Zane ( Ohhh hello Ryan welcome in ). Ryan walk in while the door closed behind him and Mr. Zane leads him to his father who was sitting in the living room while staring at the fireplace, Ryan enter the room full of silent while Mr. Zane left leaving the both of them at peace. ( So you finally came after three years Ryan…? ) said his father, Ryan look at his father ( Well yes I did come, back father… ). Ryan father turn and look at him with a soft mix with a cold stare towards him, Ryan looked at his father her with a cold stare in his eyes while the silent fills the room in silence. ( You know that stare won’t hurt me Ryan because I am your father.. ) said his father, Ryan didn’t say anything but they way he look at his father her with those eyes had meant something in them, his father finally turned away slowly, facing the fireplace again.

Ryan father closed his eyes and finally spoke to him, ( Ryan… I know that you can’t let go of the past about your mother.. but ), Ryan cut off his father word for a second ( I know but it doesn’t mean my face will change even if I let go of it ). Ryan father went silent and opened his eyes while Ryan stood their waiting for an answer, but have got nothing out of his father Ryan turn and walk out of the living room silently. Mr. Zane lead him back to his car safely before heading back into the mansion. Ryan sat back in his car silently while leaning back on his chair, he look at his phone while scrolling through a few pictures of his mother new life. Ryan turned off his phone and threw it beside him while he put his seatbelt on and started to drive off back to his place, after 5 hours drive he finally made it back home since he live far from his father. Ryan was exhausted from taking care of the company and his father, he open his front door and headed inside the house as he threw his coat on the counter and head for a shower.

Lily was done with her shower and started to make some food for herself before heading to bed, she added some eggs and bacon to her noodles before waiting for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes the food was ready, lily took the first bite and finished her meal, Lily washed her dishes and walk towards her bedroom closing the door behind her. She turned off the light and went to bed.

After Ryan, shower he got dressed and headed to bed closing the door behind him, he turn off the light but not the light lamp next to the bed he laid down while scrolling through his phone looking through reels and messages.

Ryan stop on one of the post on instagram, Ryan look at the picture and then the account their was no profile but only the user name: Mstery Cupid. Ryan looked curious about the account but decided to follow the account that only had 20 followers and 5 following.

Ryan turn off his phone and fell asleep but what he doesn’t know that the account was Lily account but he never knew about it,

The next day Lily took the bus to work like always and Ryan drove to work, Ryan made it to work early with his morning coffee while Lily was struggling to cross the road to work Lily made it to work late while Ryan was waiting for her in the meeting room. The moment Lily walk into the meeting room while everyone looked at her but Ryan looked mad while sitting across ( Everyone get out!!!, I want to talk to Lily ). Everyone left the room and silent had filled the air while the only sound was made was the door closing. Lily stood across from him staring at him ( I’m so sorry I was late Mr. Ryan… ) said lily, Ryan look at her in the eyes ( So you came late Lily why not come over her to tell me why??? ).

Lily walked over to Ryan and stood beside him but not to close to the point that their skin will be touching, Ryan turn and faced her while leaning back on his chair ( So now tell me why were you late Lily??? ). Lily looked at him and spoke ( I was late because I have to take the bus to work everyday and cross the traffic. ) Ryan stay quiet and didn’t say anything until a few seconds after ( Fine don’t be late again got it? ), Lily nodded and watched Ryan walked out of the meeting room.

Lily stood their for a moment and finally sat down and rested her head on the table and slowly falling asleep, after a few minutes went by and it was 12:00 at night and Lily had slept long. Everyone had left the company but not Ryan, he got a call from his father earlier telling him to never mention about his mother again but all what Ryan just did was hang up on the call while packing his stuff to go home. Ryan stop walking when he saw Lily still sleeping in the meeting room. Ryan thought to himself thinking if he should wake her up but decided to just go home.

After Ryan left, Lily finally woke up and started stretching her arms and legs and soon, lily got up and started to leave the company. She woke into to parking lot while she was feeling tired but Ryan was in his car driving until he saw lily walking infront off his car while passing by. Ryan look at her and when she finally got out of his way he started driving but at the same time he had a lot of thoughts about Lily, he stopped driving and turn his car around and drove back and saw lily walking on the sidewalk looking so drowsy Ryan pull over to the side and got out of his car and walk towards lily ( Come on get inside the car Lily ), Lily look at him ( Why should I do that? ), Ryan look at her and pull her hand gently while opening the passenger seat ( Get inside the car I’ll drop you home ) Lily got inside the car and sat in the passenger seat while Ryan walk to the other side while getting in the car.

Ryan started the car again but he look over to lily seeing her not having her seatbelt on so he reach over to her and grab the seatbelt while their skin were so close to be touching, he look at lily while putting the seatbelt in. Ryan soon pulled himself together and move back to were he was sitting then he started to drive again he keeping giving glances at Lily form while she was sleeping in his car.

Ryan controlled himself and continued to drive soon it was 3:00 in the morning but it was the weekend now and Lily already fell asleep so he drove to his own house, Ryan parked and got out of the car to open the other side of the door he carried Lily in his arm and went inside the house he sat her form down on his couch and gather her belongings while putting them on the chair.

Ryan soon put a blanket over her to keep her w arm while he takes a shower, after Ryan was done taking a shower and he didn’t see Lily come in the bathroom. Ryan was startled by Lily but she looked too tired to even know what was happening to her.
