The Gravity Of Life

Broken Soul Reborn

Akshay had always felt like a mistake in this world.

Every day was a fight—to wake up, to breathe, to keep pretending everything was okay when it wasn’t. The world around him never noticed his pain. His classmates mocked his silence, his relatives compared him to others, and the people closest to him barely looked beyond his fake smile.

No one truly saw him.

His dreams had long faded. His laughter was a memory. And the light inside him had turned into darkness.

One cold night, Akshay sat in the corner of his dimly lit room. The ceiling fan creaked above him, and the streetlight outside flickered like a dying hope. His hands trembled as he held a small blade, its edge dull but sharp enough to do the job.

Tears rolled down his cheeks as he wrote his final note, a letter drenched in sorrow.

“Thank you, Maa, for giving me life.

I’m sorry for ending it on my own.

Your son wasn’t strong enough.

Please forgive me from heaven.

I love you… I truly do.”

With one last glance at his mother's photo, he whispered, "Goodbye," and pressed the blade against his wrist.

But death never came.

Instead, Akshay opened his eyes to sunlight filtering through tall trees. The sky was a deep, endless blue. The air smelled fresh—wild and pure. He was lying on a bed of grass in the middle of a forest he had never seen before. There were no buildings. No cars. No noise.

Just… silence.

And peace.

He stood up in confusion. His body felt lighter, stronger. The scars on his wrists were gone. His clothes had changed too—now he wore rough fabric and boots made for walking.

Where was he?

He walked for hours until he found a village—small, simple, and ancient. The people wore robes, carried swords, and spoke a language he somehow understood. There were no phones, no technology—only handmade tools, warriors on horseback, and whispers about kings and empires.

He wasn’t on Earth anymore.

He had been reincarnated into a parallel world—a multiverse far from the one he had tried to leave behind.

For the first time, Akshay felt free. No one knew him. No one expected anything from him. He could finally just… exist.

But peace didn’t last.

Soon, he learned the truth of this world: strength ruled everything. The weak were cast aside. Monsters roamed the forests, empires waged war, and swordmasters protected what they claimed. In this world, only the strong survived.

Destiny had not left him. It had followed him here, just wearing a different face.

“Become strong,” the voice inside him whispered. “Or disappear again.”

He didn’t know how to fight. He had never held a sword. But pain? He had lived with it for years. And in this world, pain was the beginning of strength.

Akshay made a choice.

Not to die.

But to live.

To learn. To fight. To rise.

He was no longer the broken boy who had given up.

He was someone reborn.

And his journey… had only just begun.
