Agnes smiled as she waved her retreating family, it was her first day in college, and she was nervous, she heads up to her dorm to see that one of her roommates had arrived, she introduced herself as Catherine, Cat for short. Cat had green eyes short black hair, and she wore glasses, she looked very nerdy at a glance, and she was. Agnes arranged her stuff into her locker and gazed at her handiwork with joy, she then took out her phone and checked the platform for the freshmen of this year, it was announced that they all were to meet in front of the dorm buildings for a proper tour and welcoming into the school at 6am the following day. She put on a pink hood and matching shorts texts her best friend to meet her in front of his dorm, so they explore the school before tomorrow. Agnes gazed at how beautiful the room was before heading for the door, crouching to wear her shoe

I'm stepping out" Agnes told Cat who only nodded not even lifting her head from the novel she was reading, Agnes smiled and headed downstairs before walking briskly towards his dorm, she checked the time, and it was 1 pm and the sun was still bright, she took in a deep breath as she gazed at her surroundings, the school was beautiful and large there were shops and restaurants. It was like a town on Its own. She waves at Kevin, Keke for short, her best friend as he descended the stairs.

"What took you so long, I've been waiting for like a year now" She exaggerated as he stood near her, he rolled his eyes and hooked her arm before pulling her along, "For a year my foot. So how's your dorm? Mine is spacious and comfortable. I kinda like the school" Keke said, and she nods, "You are right, mine too is awesome, I got a new roommate, I heard it's four in a dorm, but only one had settled when I arrived, her name is Catherine, Cat for short"

"Oh, is she cute?" He asked, but she smacked his head "Be serious for once, where do you wanna go first" She asked, and he points at a boba shop. They explore the shops, buying food and picking their favorite places, they saw the library, theater, Video gaming room plus an arcade. By the time they retired home it was 7pm. Agnes met the remaining two of her roommates, Georgia, Gina for short, she was plump with brown long hair and brown eyes, Nadia was tall and slender, she had blue eyes and beautiful silk black hair, she liked painting and drawing, she even had a comic uploaded on the Web, after the introduction they eat Ramen together before slipping into their bunk beds to sleep.

"I gotta say, though when my parents were leaving I told them to leave quickly, I kind of missed my family" Agnes whispers when she couldn't sleep, a tear running down her face "I miss my grandpa too" Cat said , Nadia and Gina seemed to be asleep. Gina heard her sniffle and glances at her through the net covering thier beds "Don't cry okay? let's rest up for tomorrow " Gina says and Agnes nods!though she couldn't see her and closes her eyes as the tear slipped down into her pillow.

Agnes stirred, yawned and stretched she rubbed her eyes and checks the time on her phone, it was 5:30 am. After she descended from her bunk bed she realized all her roommates still were asleep, so she decides to bathe and get ready before waking them up. After her shower, she combs her blonde hair with hrnhznd before putting on a white top,cream trousers and adding a black belt and air force shoes.

She wakes them up and by 6am they together with a bunch of freshmen stood in lines as the supervisor spoke with a mic,

 "Welcome students to Bridge College. We are glad to invite you into our school, officially, after the tour you all will be registered into your classes by the student council. Your tour guides for today will be Emmanuel, the president of the student council, Joed, secretary of the student council and Regina, a member in the council. They are second years and I hope you show them the respect they need. Note that before you are dispersed to be registered you would be given a few announcements again. Enjoy the rest of the day, I am Richard Anderson assistant principal" Mr Anderson said before stepping away from the mic, and they all erupted in applause. Agnes eyes scanned her tour guides; Joed, was tall with brown short hair, slanted eyebrows and gray eyes, she felt he gave off a kind aura, Regina was slender, thin, and pale with big round amber eyes and a stiff smile, Emmanuel, who she planned on calling Manuel if they ever spoke was tall, a bit more than Joed, with deep blue eyes, black hair and a straight and cold gaze.

 In a few minutes the tour begins, since Agnes and Kevin had toured the school yesterday she simply played a game as she lingered at the back. But in a few minutes as she walked she feels someone snatch the phone from her hand, and she turns and glares at the person and sees... Emmanuel, "Ah, senior!?" She mumbled in shock,,,, and he stared pointedly at her, "You seem to be the only one who is staring down at a phone, you know the place well I presume?" He says, and she gives a small smile, "I toured the place yesterday" she says,

 ""I'm confiscating your phone, take it after registration" He simply said and walks away. Agnes cursed him under her breath and hurried to walk with Her roommates, in a few hours the tour was over and an announcement was giving that they would do milatary training for to dys before classes started. Lines were then formed for registration. She poked a head out to look at the seniors who were registering, there was;Joed, Regina, Emmanuel and another senior she didn’t know. She took out a novel from her bag to read while waiting, but then she looked up and used the time to look at Emmanuel well, he had a pointed nose, plump pink lips, arched brows and a birthmark right under his eyes, "He's handsome" She mumbled and realized a few girls were chatting about him.

 "Isn't he the guy you forwarded earlier"

"He is , Gosh! he's so hot. Look at his hands, oh my his hands. I've got a hand fetishist oh I'm about to faint"

 "He's in the forensic lab, Gosh he must look so cool holding a scapel" The other girl whispered and Agnes gazed at him, thinking "So he's a forensic major, I even offended him. is he going to cut me open", she imagined him in his gown and mask as he gazed at the blood on the scalpel with menace. She shuddered, she loved reading detective novels and was even writing one about a forensic scientist who killed women. Cat and Nadia had already registered so they had headed back to the dorm, just then Gina arrived and smacks Agnes head,

"What's wrong, with you? I was calling yet you didn’t even pick " Gina said in annoyance, Agnes hissed but quickly said

 "It's my fault, it's my fault,You can stand in front of me. The situation is too complicated, I'll tell you slowly when we get to the dorm Let me finish reading this book " She coaxed and dragged Gina to stand infront of her, Gina turned to face her with a pout and asked

 "Is it that good? "

  "It really is, I can lend it to you when I'm done"

 "No need I don't like reading " Gina says looking forward and Agnes nods with a smile

 Emmanuel meanwhile was thinking about his encounter with the girl earlier, he thought she was cute, with her blue pupils, blonde hair, pale skin and pink lips he couldn't deny she was pretty,but he cared less. Just then Regina spoke to him, "Emma I was looking for you earlier"

 "Why were you looking for me?"

 "I didn't see you go home all summer, so I thought to come and wait for you"

  "I was doing experiments with professor all summer" He responded with a neautral expression and Joed hands him a stamp saying, "Stamp it" and he nods as he picks up the tool and does what he's been told but just then he receives a call from his mom, he sighed as he picked the call

 "Hello, Mom?" when he spoke Regina glances at him

"My phone can't get one the Internet and I'm really bored " His mom whined

 "I'm busy right now. I'll call you later"

 "How long will that be? I'll call you again" His mom argued and he hissed

"I'll call you when I'm done, okay?"

 "You don't pay attention to me" She whined again

"Bye bye" He says and ends the call, Regina gazed at him as he stamped another sheet but got ink on his hand, she quickly took out a wipe and hands it to him

 "Oh, Thank you" He said and used it to wiped his hand , he received another call from his mother and sighed, "Agnes! why are you crying" a girl suddenly says and he looks up to see the girl from earlier crying with a book in her hand,

 "This is so touching, the author is so good" She says but then leans in and whispers to her friend "Also, don't you think the vibration of a phone sounds like farting? " they both burst out in giggles, "So she's Agnes?, this girl goes from crying to laughing so quickly" He thought and picked his mother's call. Regina tells Agnes to sit and she does so quickly, as she apologized for delay ,

 "Hello, mom " He says and he notices Regina's head turn to look at him again but then he glances at Agnes who was cleaning her tears with her hand and writing her name on the paper

  "First go to settings..." he said to his mother still gazing at Agnes

"Click on cellular network, inside there is a "cellular data. did you click on it?" He asked his mother looking away and Regina thought ,''Why does Emma kept looking at that girl?.". Emma ends the call after saying a good bye, then he stamps her sheet before slipping a hand into his pocket and placing her phone on top of the sheet and pushed it to her

 "Don't let it repeat itself " He warned and she nods, thanked him and walks away with her friend.

Agnes headed to the cafeteria with Gina, they spot Cat sitting at a table, "I'll go to her, get our food and come" She told Gina who nodded and went to join the line. "Where's Nadia?" Agnes asks the moment she sat down, Cat looks up and smiles

 "Well I invited her to go to the cafeteria, but she ignored me and said she's busy"

 "You know, even though we've introduced our selves to each other don't you think she's cold to us" Agnes said, leaning in and whispering to Cat who nodded. Gina returned and placed Agnes tray in front of her, "Thank you" She said but then glanced at Gina's food which was packed with fried food

 "Gina? do you like fried food that much?" Agnes asked and she shook her head

 "Not really, but back at home my mom deprived me of eating any, so I want to go against their will since I'm here" Gina said triumphantly and Agnes laughed and glanced at her tray and hands Gina her milk tea

 "Milk tea in my mom's eyes is like insecticide, so have it"

 "So you are feeding me insecticide" Gina said still taking the bottle, Agnes giggled

 "Are you drinking it or not?"

"I'll drink" Gina said and Agnes gave her a thumbs up, but then Gina turned to Cat, "What about you? What are you not allowed to eat"

 "A lot of things, but my grandpa said a bowl of millet oatmeal every day is for the good of the stomach"

 "We're beyond the reach of those enforcers, and you are still so obedient? It makes us look very unfilial" Gina said gesturing to herself and Agnes, Cat only smiled at this comment

"Your millet oatmeal looks good, can I have a taste?" Gina's asks and Cat pushes the bowl to her with a nod, she tastes and yeulches(Sound made when about to throw up)

"It's so plain" She comments and Agnes sees Cat's expression droop as she looked down,

 "Cat, do you know ? Gina's nickname in high school was "Taste-a-bit" She wants to taste anything she sees. It's annoying" Agnes says trying to lift her spirit Gina nods with a smile

 "Yeah that's true. To be honest, I've had my eyes on your sweet potato chips for quite a while, it looks superb! Can you let me have some when we go back?"

 "Sure, I'll give you a big bag" Cat beamed

 "Me too" Agnes says and she nods. As they chat and eat, they start talking about Agnes interest in Forensic science novels, and she tells them she would go to the lab to investigate later.

 Later in the night, she sneaked into the lab with a torch light, she was amazed at how many tools there was , she even took a few pictures

 But suddenly she heard the door to the lab open, and she quickly hid under a table. Her heart was pounding in her chest, what if she got into trouble?

  Emmanuel entered with the skull of an old body that was send for testing and was now used for teaching, But as he approached a certain table he spots the shoes of someone under the table. He sighs and leans against it,

 "Come out. How long are you going to keep hiding?" He says. Agnes slowly stood up, her eyes closed as her back faced him. When he sees her he frowns, thinking "What is she doing here?"

 "I didn't s-see anything, spare m-my life" She stuttered, she didn’t know who it was but she hoped he or she had a kind soul.

 "Then go" He said with his hand crossed, Agnes raised a brown then slowly she turned around, and gasped, "I-it's you?" She mumbled, and he nods, "I was moving a teaching material into the lab, what are you doing here" He says as they both walk out, he hands her skull and she beamed as he tried to lock the lab.

 "Oh Im writing a forensic science lab novel and i came to get inspiration.It looks so real" She said and traced a hand over the skull

 "It is" He says simply

 "What!" She exclaims and let's go of it,, but he quickly caught it and glared at her,

"Be careful, just hold it let me lock up" He said and throws it to her again and she caught it in fear, "Sorry... so it was in someone's head?" She asked again,

"No in a foot" He said and snatched it from her hand, she glared at him.

"Go" He said as he made an attempt to enter another lab,, but she held the door, "Can't I go in?" She sked but he only glared at her at and her and she got the message and stepped back,, so he shut it.

 "Tsk! you'll beg me to go in one day and I won't!" She said and turned her heels and walked back to her dorm in annoyance but on her way her stomach growled so she stopped by one restaurant and ordered Ramen(Noodles ) to eat. After her meal she heads back to her dorm, bathes and sleeps.
