Let's go to the office first. Grab coffee for you, too. Then we'll head to the set at 9:00 AM
He started the engine while i fixed myself up in the back. This van is spacious— i personally designed it because sometimes they set up hidden cameras in dressing rooms, and it's become a huge issue for actors like me. The van even has a bathroom, closet, and more. Honestly, i could live in here if i wanted.

Jonathan opened the door for me and gave a slight bow. I smiled and walked inside the building

My employee greeted me. I nodded and glanced at the time— 6:20 AM. Hopefully, there are no urgent tasks yet... maybe just signing a few documents.
Once i got to my office, i loosened my tie and removed my blazer. I felt suffocated already— and I'd just arrived. I picked up my phone and called my best friend.

Just then, someone knocked. It was my secretary, i put my tie back on and told her I'd be right out. Once i was ready, i stood up and grabbed my things

I instructed my secretary and headed to my conference room
As soon as i get inside. The meeting started.
I could barely focus. I just wanted it to be 9 AM already so i could leave. I was completely out of it.
This life is giving me a headache
After some time, i asked for a 20-minute break. I couldn't take the stress anymore, so i call Chase again.

Hey, just calm down, Tristan. Listen to me carefully— don't do anything harmful for yourself

I'm not doing anything. I just... can't handle this stress anymore
I murmured, massaging my forehead.

I hung up because someone knocked again. Ugh. My head was pounding like I'd been hit so hard. It was my secretary— break time was over and the next meeting was about to start

I entered the conference room again, the whole meeting, my eyes were closed as if I'm not interested in what's being presented.
After my meeting, I went straight back to my office. As I opened the door, Chase immediately rushed to catch me. He laid me down on the couch, took off my shoes, tie, and blazer.

Wait up— let me check your oxygen
He puts an oximeter on my finger. He scrambled to get the portable oxygen from the cabinet and placed the mask over my face.

I nodded weakly. Thank God he was here— otherwise, I might have ended up on the front page again being hospitalized, and the whole country would assume I was dying

My vision was still blurry. But when i got used to the light, i looked around the room...

I tried to sit up, but my body felt weak. He quickly reached out to help me, and as he did, i started at him

He said softly, while still touching my face.
I couldn't breathe properly anymore. We were looking into each other's eyes, like we were staring straight into our souls.
His fingers gently brushed my skin, and suddenly, my chest felt heavy.
What was happening to me?
He wiped my tears with his thumb.

Shh...it's okay. You're with me. You'll be safe here
He whispered, resting my forehead against his.
I was frozen. I couldn’t even blink. Just completely hypnotized by his eyes, his scent, his warmth. My heart kept pounding like it was trying to escape my chest.
I wiped my tears slowly, still dazed, and just as he opened the door—

Chase rushed in. The doctor stayed and faced him again. He was still looking straight into my eyes.
