It was a regular day for students in the univeristy when they saw a luxury car entering in the university. The car stopped near the front the gate of the gas and oil engineering department. Driver came out of the car and opened the passenger door. Then a handsome boy came out of the car.

As he put his foot on the ground everyone started staring at him  with a feeling of being jealous that why they were not rich like him and then a few girls came around him and tried to talk with him but he continued walking while ignoring them.While walking he saw all around him, sure it was his first day in the college.

After walking for a while he asked a girl who was passing just by near him about the way to class of 3rd semester.. She looked like she was in her 18. The girl seemed in a little hurry but she stopped to tell him the way to the classroom and then went in straight direction.

It happened for the first time with him that a girl didn't show any interest in him. As he was both handsome and rich. And ofcourse all girls want a rich and handsome guy to be their boyfriend like him.

The time of the class was 8:00 am and he reached at the door of the classroom at 8:05 am, just 5 minutes late. He was late 5 minutes because it took him some time to search for the class as it was his first day in the college.

The teacher was calling name of the students at that time for attendence. When he reached at the door of the classroom, everyone looked at him just to see who is going to be marked absent beside being present in the class, as the teacher was strict and she hated being late and also those who try to come into her class beside being late.

Everyone was surprised to see a new boy as none of them ever saw him. Teacher said him to sit into the class but she won't put present of him in the attendence register without even looking at him.

"i am sorry for being late but it's not my fault at all"  he said.

After hearing this, the teacher looked at him and said, then whose fault is this ? Is it mine!! that you are late.

He apologized again and said " i am late because finding the class took me some time".

Why you had to find the class? Are you new in the university?

The teacher asked angrily thinking that the student might be making just a lame excuse to escape from such a situation.

As it is normal for students to make lame excuses to escape in such situations as sometimes such excuses even work successfully. So, there is nothing bad giving it atleast one try as failure in it will cause nothing bad at all.

"YES, i am new in the university" he replied.

Teacher raised her one eyebrow and asked his name while looking at him. "Luke Smith" he replied.

So, his surname was "Smith",one of the richest families in the whole city named Istanbul. Ofcourse not everyone can afford such an expensive car. Other students also belonged to rich families as that college was expensive. But he belonged to a super rich family.

"oh" teacher said ," You must be the transfer student about whom principle told me earlier but i forgot".

You can sit in the class and i will mark present of you as it is your first day in the college but don't come late ever again.

He said "Okay" and went to the back of the classroom as there were only two empty chairs in the entire class, one on the front and the other at the back. As it was his first day, he decided to sit behind.

As the teacher finished calling names for attendence, a girl came at the door and asked for permission to enter into the class from the teacher. The teacher looked at her and then allowed her to come inside. She came inside, said something to the teacher and then sat on the empty chair present on the front. She was the girl from whom Luke had asked the way to the classroom.

"Thank God, he didn't sit on that chair otherwise he would have to leave that chair now and would be embarrassed " he thought in his mind.

He thought why teacher let her come in without saying anything as she was also late like him, even more than him.

Duration of the study in the college was of 4 years or 8 semesters. There were 2 semesters in one year and one year had already passed, so the new boy transferred in his 2nd year. Getting transferred in 2nd year of studies in this college was not easy but he belonged to a rich family, so it must be easy for him.

As the class finished and teacher went out of the class, some of the students came to Tyler and tried to be friendly with with him specially the girls. But he spoke with them coldly. He was still thinking of that beautiful girl.

"Why am i even thinking about that girl " he asked to himself. This had never happened with him ever before.

It was breaktime and students started getting out of the class. Some went to the college cantene to eat somthing, some started studying by going to library and some remained in the class talking with each other. But Luke wanted to talk with her.

He didn't even know her name yet. He went to cantene to buy something to eat but he saw that girl there. She was buying two juice bottles. He felt a little confused that why she was buying two juice bottles?

After buying two juice bottles, she left the cantene and started walking towards the garden that was at the backside of the college.

He continued following her and then he became stunned and a little sad when he saw her sitting next to a boy. She gave one juice bottle to him.

He remembered that he has seen that boy  somewhere! But where ?

He thought too much and suddenly remembered that he was sitting next to that boy in the classroom. Luke even remembered the name of that guy which is " Tyler" which he heard during attendence in the class.

"But why he didn't hear the name of that girl during the attendence!" he  thought.

Maybe her name was already been called before his entered into the class as he reached a little late in the classroom. And she must have gone out of the class by the instruction of the teacher as she said something to the teacher on entering in the class. This must be the reason. What else could it be! After watching both of them talking,he went back to the class.

"Why am i felling jealous after watching that girl sitting with a boy" he thought.

He was thinking about this and suddenly someone came near him and called his name "Luke Smith" in a a very sweet voice. He raised his head and remained stunned as it was her, the girl about whom he was thinking just now.

She said to Luke, "Hi,How are you?"

He stunned for a moment and then said "I, i am fine ".

It seemed like he didn't believe that the girl he wanted to talk with, just came to him and said "Hi".

He thought it was a dream but it really wasn't. She was actually there standing right infront of her.

He stood up from the chair as he didn't consider it appropriate to talk with her while sitting on the chair whereas she was standing . He did not stand from his chair when other girls came to talk with him earlier at the start of the break period but he stood up from his chair for giving respect to her.

She said "My name is ' Sophia Torres ' and i am the class monitor, if you have any kind of difficulty in the class, you can talk freely with me"

"Okay" he could barely say just this single word.

After that the girl turned back and went to the front of the class to sit on her chair. Luke also sat back on his chair. After a little while everyone came inside the class including " Tyler" as the time of the break was almost over.

Teachers came,gave lectures and went. Time flew like the flowing water of a river and finally last lecture started of his first day of the college.

At the end of this last lecture of the day, teacher gave an assignment to the students. A group of 3 students had to prepare assignment on one topic.

Students were allowed to chose their groupmates according to their own will. Sophia came behind to ask Tyler, to whom should they choose

to complete the group of 3 members.

Luke could hear their conversation as she was near him because Tyler

was sitting next to Oliver.

Luke was still confused about the relation of Sophia and Tyler.

Is Sophia just a friend of Tyler?

OR

Are they in love with each other?

While Tyler and Luke were thinking about the 3rd member of the group,Luke said to monitor that "Can i become the 3rd member of your group?

It's my first day in the college and i don't have any friends here yet.Edward and Amelia looked towards each other and then agreed.

The topic on which they had to prepare assignment was "Resources of oil and gas"

Whole class was given a time period of one week to prepare the assignment. So for the whole next week Luke had to go to the college library with both of them to prepare assignment on time.

All three of them tried their best for preparing the assignment and this is how their friendship started.

In the start , Tyler used to call Sophia by the word " monitor " but later she told him to call her with her first name as they have become friends now. When Luke came to know that Tyler is an orphan and he is not rich like other students. He even got admission on scholarship and he do part time jobs after universirty time for meeting his living expenses, Luke became very surprised and inspired.

Tyler got admission in the university on scholarship and lives in boys dorm of the university. He used to remain in deep thoughts. Sophia often said him as a joke that if he start writing his thoughts or stories that he think all the time , in a book and publish it. That book will surely become the best selling book of all the time and he will become a famous writer.

Sophia and Edward were friends since childhood. You must be thinking how they even became friends!!

Although Sophia's family was rich but there was a strange tradition in her family of sending their children in orphange for one year so that they can learn the other side of the life present on earth. Every generation used to prepare their children for hard time because life is full of ups and downs and they considered that the best age to learn something is the childhood.

When Sophia was 8 years old she was sent into an orphange for one year according to her family's tradition and she met Tyler there for the first time. Later they became friends and used to play together. One year passed like the flowing water in a river and sophia went back to her house. Even after leaving

the orphanage she often used to go to the orphange to meet Tyler.

But when Tyler turned 18, he had to leave to the orphanage according to the country's law. He had no place to live other than that orphanage. But he luckily before as he left the orphanage he got admision in the Istanbul Technical University and was given a place in boy's dorm of the university. It was the toped ranked university of the turkey. This university used to give admission on scholarship to only one student every year and too many students apply for this scholarship. In this scholarship university give free education and place for living to the student. But Tyler got admission on that scholarship. Even Sophia could not get admission on scholarship as both of them applied together for this scholarship.

After getting admission letter on scholarship from the univeristy, he rushed to tell sophia about his admission. Sophia became very happy. Sophia told him thay she also got admission in the university but not on scholarship. They celebrated that day by doing dinner together. Sophia's family knew Tyler since he was in the orphanage so they never stopped Sophia from going out with him.

Tyler never made any friends other than Sophia. She was his only friend since childhood. Instead of making friends he used to create stories to amuse himself. Even with opened eyes he often remained in his dreams. In the start the staff of orphange said that maybe he has mental disorder and decided to make him get checked in a hospital for medical checkup but the Doctor said Tyler is totally fine.
