Yue is a 20 year old college student. For him , his life was just ordinary without anything exciting ever happening. One day, Yue's college was holding a food fest. Every member of the student's family is invited and yue's mom came to visit. Yue's cousin also attends the same college and she brought her big sister to the event. Yue can't stand these people cause they always sucked up to his mother and when she wasn't looking they bothered him and teased him. They always pull pranks and make fun of him. Its his cousin’s last year in college so he decided to avoid them to prevent any conflict and just enjoy the fest .

Halfway through the event, Yue’s mom got an urgent call and she went home, she texted yue about the matter and told him to take the bus home . Yue wanted to go home soon and as a last snack before leaving,he ordered a bread sandwich before the food stall was closed. As they were preparing it , his friend called him so he told them to pack the snack and he would come and get it after they finished , after awhile he came back to find the stall closed, he asked one of the staff members where his order was and he was told that his cousins took it, furious he went outside to search for them , suddenly he heard an announcement saying all the students are to go home soon since the weather was getting bad . Yue’s house is pretty far from his college, and his only means of transport available is his college’s minivan since the last bus left ,yue hated the idea but he had no choice. The van was full of girls and he was the only boy that day. The van took a different turn because the usual route was blocked and went in another route , when they were halfway through a beautiful garden-like forest, one of the tyres failed and since the forest was beautiful everyone got out to view it while the driver fixed the tyre. Yue was the last to get down and while he was, he fell. He was hurt a little but was fine, but one of the girls insisted on carrying him to the bench nearby and he had no option but to agree since the girl was forcing him. She carried him fine until suddenly she tried to make a move on him. Yue was fine-looking and had decent grades. She liked him for a long time and thought this was her chance but Yue couldn’t take it and told her he would walk to the bench by himself. She got mad and pushed him. Yue fell, making his injury worse. The girl ran to her friends while crying and fed them lies about how Yue tried to molest her. Her friends hearing her lies, got angry and didn’t want him in the van anymore. They told the driver and before Yue could explain anything they left him there. He was speechless.

It was getting dark and the weather was getting worse,he needed to get home. There were no other vehicles nearby so he had to walk. He walked for a while, enjoying the scenery , suddenly it started raining , he couldn’t find a place to avoid the rain so he took his jacket and placed it on his head and ran ,he was soon exhausted and his leg injury was getting worse. When he realized he lost his way, he continued to walk, thinking that he could still make it to the busy road but his mind and state said otherwise, the rain stopped and the sun slowly went down and it became dark making it difficult to navigate the way, he was about to give up when he found a person at a distance. Yue could not see the person’s face but the person looked so grand underneath the moonlight, with his white hair flowing in the air , he had a majestic aura around him. Yue thought he was hallucinating and by this point, yue was completely exhausted and seeing a person made him so relieved but before he could call him, yue fainted.

When Yue woke up, he saw a beautiful person beside him. “It must be the same person I saw before fainting! I’m glad it wasn’t a hallucination ”, he thought. The person looked young but he had long white hair , his face was delicate like a woman’s face. As yue was staring at the person, mesmerized as if he was cast under a spell, the person noticed him and asked “Are you ok?, how are you feeling now? ” his voice was so deep and unlike his appearance ,Yue soon snapped back and replied that he was lost and needed directions to go back home. The person told Yue that he’d help Yue get back home but Yue had to do him a favor in return ,Yue asked what it was thinking it will be a simple request , the person hesitated for awhile before asking “Help me defeat my enemies” , At this point yue was too confused to even reply. Yue looked at the person, frowned and said “What do you mean help you defeat your enemies? I’m sorry but I can’t do any of that, I can’t even fight cause I am injured” .Then the person thought for a moment and said “I can heal you and make you strong enough to defeat my enemies, so then will you help me ?” he asked. Yue thought , “Heal and make me stronger ? All that in a day’s time ? This is simply unrealistic but this person seemed nice and it didn’t look like he was lying” he looked at the person who was eagerly waiting for his answer , he thought for a minute longer “Maybe this person is being threatened and needs someone to call the police or maybe he’s a spy but either way I’ll agree cause there’s no harm in helping a person” and replied “Ok I’ll try to help you but don’t expect much and make sure you help me return home ! ” The person gave a little smile and said “ I wont lie to you and since you agreed you are going to become my disciple now and I can give you power” . Yue’s was too confused and exhausted to understand clearly “ disciple? What does he mean ? I’m sure that I’m mixing up his words cause I’m exhausted ” he thought, so he just nodded and agreed to become his disciple. After saying “Sure” Yue noticed the smile on his new master’s face grew big and he thought “This person smiles a lot and it’s so beautiful! No snap back Yue, he is a guy!”. While Yue was thinking the master introduced himself as Shiin, yue was surprised as to why his master had the character of death in his name because shi means death but he did not ask any questions . Yue also introduced himself and told shiin everything that happened that day and how he got injured and lost. Shiin listened to everything without interrupting and after Yue finished, he told him,” I see you went through a lot today Yue and we have a lot to do tomorrow, so you better get some rest and forget your problems for now” shiin raised his hand and yue thought he would pat his head but he just gave a pat on his back and told him to rest on the grass yue nodded and laid on grass but he couldn’t rest or go to sleep. It was dark all around except for the moonlight, shiin laid beside him and was looking at the moon. Yue also looked at the moon and thought “If I don’t go home soon my mom will be worried sick , I bet my father will be furious when I arrive home, maybe he’ll ground me for life , what if they thought I was caught in an accident! They would be so anxious till I return ”, Yue kept thinking and shiin noticed it, he took off his jacket and wrapped yue in it and told him “ do not to worry, Everything will be fine, I promise you, I will get you home ”. Yue was surprised at this gesture but he felt assured and slowly he fell asleep . After Yue slept , Shiin moved closer to him and while looking at yue he thought “ he has such thick death energy around him , that’s why he is facing such bad luck ! It might just be fate that I met him today ”.

The next morning, Yue woke up and was confused to see no one beside him , he thought what happened yesterday was all a dream but he was lying on the ground with shiin's jacket on him so it was not a dream . Just then shiin arrived and asked Yue to follow him. Seeing him again in daylight, yue couldn’t believe how beautiful shiin looked. Yue slowly got up but suddenly fell down, He was as surprised as shiin when he fell and then sharp pain in his ankle made him shout "Ouch!” . He held his ankle in his hand , his face turned pale because of the pain .Shiin immediately sat beside yue and asked him to show his ankle. It was in blue-black color and swollen. Shiin took the swollen ankle into his lap carefully , closed his eyes and mumbled something, a white light surrounded yue's ankle and his pain suddenly went away as if it’s never been there before. Yue was surprised,He felt no pain in his ankle but its still swollen just like before , he looked at shiin with a question filled face but before he could as anything shiin angrily glared at him , "why didn’t you tell me about how serious your injury was ? Look how bad it’s swollen! If you had told me before I would’ve done something", yue was a little taken aback when shiin angrily scolded him but he was slightly happy cause he knew shiin was angry because he was worried about him .He apologized to shiin, saying that he thought his injury was not that worse and it would be better after taking rest but he didn’t expect it to become this serious . Shiin sighed but he looked at bit less angry than before , he sat infront of yue and signaled him to get on his back so he can carry yue .Yue was flustered , he didn’t expect shiin would offer to carry him , he hurriedly refused shiin saying that he can walk just fine since all the pain in his ankle is gone . Shiin yelled, " That’s not the solution!” He noticed that yue was taken aback , took a deep breath and with a normal voice explained “I just removed the pain caused by your injury as a temporary fix but your injury is still there and it can get worse if we don’t treat it , now climb on my back so I can carry you". Yue looked at his swollen ankle and thought “ I see , that’s why it still looks swollen , I shouldn’t argue with shiin now ” , So he climbed onto shiin's back without any argument. Yue was thin looking but unlike his looks he was very heavy and he knew that very well so he thought shiin might not be able to carry him but shiin lifted him up as if it was nothing and carried him without much effort.

Shiin carried him into the woods nearby. Soon they reached a cabin beside a beautiful small lake in the woods. The cabin looked old but it was well maintained and had a breathtaking scenery surrounding it. Shiin took him to the cabin and slowly made him sit on the bench outside and went inside . Yue was looking around admiring the scenery when shiin bought a first aid kit to treat his ankle . As he was applying the ointment, he looked up and questioned yue “Are you not going to ask about it?” , yue looked back at him with a puzzled expression and asked “what should I ask about ?” , shiin looked at him in disbelief, “Are you not going to ask about how I made your pain disappear ?” , in reality yue was so distracted by the scenery , he completely forgot about that , “oh right !” , he suddenly realized, shiin couldn’t help but laugh “ Normally anyone would drop a million questions but you just forgot about it ! You sure are an oddball “ he said , yue looked a little annoyed when shiin called him an oddball, “ Me? An oddball? What about you ? Asking people to be your disciple and ask them to help you defeat your enemies, what do you call that as?” he asked , shiin was surprised at yue’s angered question but it didn’t last for long cause he laughed and replied “ Yes, you’re right ! I'm also an oddball” , his laugh was contagious ,even yue started laughing and they both had a good laugh together.
