Author's Note: The story will start from the backstory and the main plot is more focused on Xiao Zhan. So in the beginning Xiao Zhan's story will be shown in more detail.

Present time

It's Friday night. A man is standing outside a club. A man who is handsome, charming on one hand but on the other hand, he is cute, beautiful and fragile. A rare type of visual that is unexpected to be seen here. Maybe there is so much noise and chaos but for him, he can hear nothing as he is into his reverie. A train of thoughts is running inside his mind. After a while, he leaves his world of thoughts and encourages himself. For him, it's a daring step. Many years of practice of living as a filial son is making him feel hesitant to enter here. But it's about his freedom. He takes a deep breath.

"It's now or never."

21 Years Ago:

It is a great sunny day. A cute 4 soon to be 5 year old boy is lying on the grass in their garden. He is scribbling something in his drawing book with crayons. A beautiful lady enters while calling that boy, " Zhan, A-Zhan... Are you here? Zhanzhan..." The boy replies, "Mamma, come come, I am here.... Look here..."

That lady goes towards the boy. " Let me see what my Zhan is doing? Wow my Zhan..." Zhan showed his mother a drawing. A drawing of a family of four. Zhan says while pointing at the first three figures. "I drew this. Look mama this is Liu Jiamian, my father. This is He Rara, you, my mamma and in the middle this is your beloved Xiao Zhan, me." He Rara points at the fourth figure which is a female. "Zhan, who is he ?"

" Mamma, This is that aunty who comes after you leave for office, Aunty Crystal Zhang. Papa says she is our family member." He Rara 's eyes go wide. She forcefully smiles. " Baby , what do they do when aunty comes ?"

"I don't know, mommy. But when aunty comes, she goes to your bedroom with Papa and locks the door. Papa says she comes here to play."

He Rara's eyes are red from stopping her tears to come out. She says with a shaky voice, "Baby , You play here. I am going inside, okay?" Without waiting for Xiao Zhan's reply, she turns and goes inside.

When she arrives in their living room, she notices her tears are flowing without her permission. She wipes her cheeks and goes to their kitchen. There she asks every maid to leave the kitchen. After they leave , she bursts out into tears. The sound of crying can be from the living room. " How can he do this to me ? How? How?"

After crying she goes to her room, their room, the room she shares with her husband but her husband shares it with another woman behind her back. She feels disgusted more than upset. She promises herself in her , "Neither am I going to divorce you nor am I going to compromise, I will live here for my son and expose you in the right moment in front of everyone."

A few hours later, It's evening. Liu Jiamian will be at home in any minute. He Rara have told all the cooks to make his husband's favourite dishes. She is preparing herself to face him.

The door bell rings. A maid opens the door. Liu Jiamian comes in and gives his bag to the maid. He goes to his bedroom and sees his wife, sitting in front of the mirror.

"Honey, is today a special day?"

"No, why?"

"Nothing, I was thinking if I am forgetting anything. Plus, I can smell the fragrance of nice dishes."

"Oh..."

" Where is Zhanzhan? He didn't come running to greet me today..."

"He is in his room, probably drawing."

"Oh..."

"Take shower and get fresh first."

Before Liu Jiamian can answer anything He Rara gets up and leaves the room.

At Dinner Table:

Xiao Zhan, Liu Jiamian and He Rara are sitting in their respective chairs. Maids have served the food. Always cheerful He Rara is serious and cold today, especially towards Liu Jiamian. So he tries to start a conversation.

"Rara?"

"Hm?"

Our Zhanzhan's birthday is in a few days...."

"I know."

"What should we do that day?" He asks with a smile while looking at Xiao Zhan.

"Let's ask Zhanzhan.... Zhanzhan, what do you want to do that day?"

"I want to go out with mamma and papa..."

"Okay. Then it is final.", Liu Jiamian says with enthusiasm. He Rara nods also.

"Yayy", Xiao Zhan says and eats very fast. Then He runs towards his room.

The couple also finish their dinner and leave the dinner table.

After the dinner, Liu Jiamian goes to Zhan's room. He sees Zhan is drawing while laying on the bed.

"What is my Zhan doing?"

"Papa, look.... I am drawing..."

"What are you drawing, baby?"

"Our family... Look.. "

Zhan shows him the family photo of four people which he was drawing from the morning.

"Baby, why four people.... Aren't we three?"

"About us... What should we do...?"

"Xiao Zhan drew a family picture and you are included in that..."

"Good... Xiao Zhan considers me as a family..."

"But what should we do? "

"Remove her... Let's remove her.."

"Leave it on me... But are you three going somewhere on Zhan's birthday?"

"Crystal... what are you planning?"

On Xiao Zhan's birthday:

When they are in the car, Rara feels something is wrong... The break is not working, the car is out of control and a truck is coming towards them. Rara feels it is planned from the beginning. She mumbles with tears, " Jiamian, shame on you.... You chose this day to kill us, to kill your son. I hate you with my life..."

She notices the truck is too close to them. It can hit them anytime. So she shields Little 5 years old Zhan with her body and closes her eyes and says, "goodbye, my baby and happy birthday."

Zhan Screams, "MOMMAAAAA!!!"

Two vehicles crash into each other and the car hits a tree. In an hour, police, ambulance, media arrive at the spot. Liu Jiamian is reported through Crystal and police team. He reaches the spot. He sees his lifeless wife and fainted Zhan, covered in his mother's blood. Liu Jiamian can guess the culprit behind the accident.

After recovery, when Xiao Zhan gets to know about his mother's death, he becomes devastated and starts to think himself as the reason.

After all the rituals are done, his father tries to make him feel less guilty, but he fails. But surprisingly, a few weeks later, his father marries pregnant Crystal Zhang.

At first, she behaves good with Xiao Zhan. But gradually she starts to her true colours. She makes Zhan think that he is the cause of his mother's death. She starts to victimized herself in front of Liu Jiamian and makes Liu Jiamian hate him.

Gradually, A baby girl, named Xuan Lu and a few years later, a boy, Wang Zuocheng come in this earth through Liu Jiamian and Crystal Zhang.

Even if Crystal Zhang hates him, but her two children loves him. Xiao Zhan is oldest but Xuan Lu treats him like his elder sister.

He makes two good friends in his life. Meng Ziyi and Yubin. They are brother and sister. Meng Ziyi knows Xiao Zhan's mental condition and treats him like a mother and Yubin is his best friend and always partner of his every mischief.

But as an older brother, Xiao Zhan is obedient in the house. He tries not to offend Crystal and he has almost forgotten that he has a father because of the treatment he gets in the house.

Now Xiao Zhan is 27, Xuan Lu is 22 and Wang Zuocheng is 20....

One day, he is passing by his parents rooms. A conversation catches his ears.

"Crystal, how many days?"

"What, how many days?"

"We both know that he is not the one but you are.."

"So what?"

"What? He always thinks of himself as the reason for Rara's death.... But you are the one..."

"I don't want to continue this conversation...."

Hearing this conversation, his world scattered into pieces. He is happy that he is not the reason but he is living with the murderer and his dad knows it from the very beginning.

He runs to his room crying. He is feeling betrayed. He thinks, ' is it the result of being obedient to them?' His sister and brother are sitting in the room.

Seeing the crying Zhan, Xuan Lu gets worried, " gege, what happened? Why are you crying? "

Xiao Zhan explains everything to them. He knows that they are more mature than their age.
