Chapter 1
The soft morning sunlight slipped through the sheer curtains of the Sharma mansion, casting golden patterns across the polished floor. Meher Sharma stretched her arms lazily as the alarm buzzed faintly on her nightstand.

“Ugh… five more minutes,”
she mumbled,
Snuggling back into her pillow. But before she could drift off, a knock came at the door.

“Meher beta, uth jao! Tumhe Anika ke ghar jaana tha na aaj?”

She got dressed in a soft pink kurti with little silver embroidery, leaving her hair open, and ran downstairs

With that, Meher stepped into the family car, the driver already waiting. Her anklets jingled softly as she climbed in, heart full of excitement and innocence — unaware that today... her fate was about to collide with something dark and dangerous

At a private airstrip miles away, a black jet cut through the sky and touched down.

Aarav Raichand stepped off the stairs, green eyes cold, unreadable, and piercing through the morning mist. His presence was magnetic — dangerous yet calm. The kind of man silence follows.
He adjusted his black sunglasses, jaw clenched.

“Yes. Tonight... the welcome party begins.”

The Sharma mansion faded in the rearview mirror as Meher leaned her head against the car window, humming to herself.

At the Raichand Mansion
The garden was glowing under delicate fairy lights as a few close guests started arriving. The air was filled with the scent of mogra and sandalwood. Laughter echoed softly from the patio where Anika and Meher sat, sipping mocktails.

“You know, when I was abroad, I missed Delhi winters. And you. And maa ke haath ki kheer.”
