The morning sun peeped through the curtains causing a slight discomfort to the sleeping male. The sound of a door knob was heard, the door opened slightly revealing a woman in her late forties.

   ' bun, wake up' The woman said while picking up a cloth from the floor.

 The male shifted slightly before letting out an exaggerated sigh.

 ' mom, it's still early, let me sleep more' He whined.

 'Lazy bun, hurry up, there's a surprise '. She said her voice a bit stern but playful.

He jolted up as he heard the word 'surprise'.

' What's the surprise' he asked his face lit up with excitement.

'if i tell you, it wouldn't be a surprise ' she said boping his nose.

' fine ' he said as he hurried to the bathroom.

  The room has plush velvet sofas, crystal chandeliers, high ceiling and elegant patterns adorned in it.

 Heads turned as the youngest prince of Avridae strolled into the room, his steps light and he walked in and sat at a sofa beside his mother.

 His hands fiddling with the hems of his fitted silk, the silk fitted him like another skin. He looked ethereal.

 it felt like a gathering, it felt strange and he couldn't push away the thoughts that the gathering was about him. A woman sat in front of him, Everything about her was elegant and she smiled at him softly .

  He whispered to his mother; mom, who are they'.

Before, his mother spoke, the woman spoke her.

 'Dear me, my little prince forgot me so easily, I still remember those times he would kiss my cheeks and tell me, 'i would marry you, when I grow into a big bunny'she said wiping of a fake tear.

   ' my wifey, ' he said as he spread his arms exaggeratedly to hug her.'i missed you so much'.

'huh uh, that's why you couldn't even remember me ' she said faking annoyance.

' I'm so sorry' he said making puppy eyes. She melted instantly 'fine, fine , I missed you so much too'. She said cupping his cheeks

'you didn't change you only grew taller, still the little bunny I knew ' she said ruffling his hair.

 'Avrid ' she said 'yes mom' he replied ' did you forget someone ' Avrid's mom said.

 'uh, who' he replied his head tilted cutely in confusion.

' huh, you forgot him' Avrid's mom said

'That certain someone you followed around , kissed on his cheeks, said 'I love you' to ' Mrs Langston said .

 'Areon' he squeaked

  'Took you long enough' 𝙲assius Eldridge *Avrid's father' said while descending from the stairs.

'is he coming' Avrid asked bouncing on his feet in excitement.

' yes , he was busy with some royal duties, he couldn't come with me' Mrs Langston*Areon's mother said.
