«Do you still want to live»a robotic voice asked. That was the last thing Gina heard before blacking out.

Gina was an average girl she had no parents, they died when she was about starting middle school.

Just like any other girl, she wanted to experience the good things in life.

She fell in love with her senior in high school when she was 17. His name was Jude and he reciprocated her feelings.

Jude was handsome and from a nouveau riche family, and so was admired by many other girls.

When both Gina and Jude were done with high school they started officially dating. They seemed like a perfect couple and it seemed like nothing could come in between them, but then tragedy struck when Jude fell seriously ill.

After series of tests it was concluded that he needed a kidney transplant. Gina was so devastated but she did not give up hope. Jude's parents searched but they could not find a suitable donor. Just when his parents were about to give up hope, they found out that Gina was compatible with their son. They begged her to donate one of her kidneys which she did. Even without Jude's parents asking her, she would have done it.

After the surgery the doctor said that Jude would need to stay 3 months in the hospital to recover completely.

Because of Jude's sickness, Gina had to put a hold on her higher institution studies but Jude and his parents urged her to go back to school, she was hesitant at first, but she later agreed, Jude's parents said that Jude would join her in school a year later.

A year later when Gina finally came back she intended to surprise him, she was so excited to reunite with Jude, and she thought he would feel the same too. But it looked like fate had something else planned for her, because she came back only to hear that Jude was engaged to someone else.

Gina could not believe it but when she saw both Jude and his so called fiancée coming out of a hotel hand in hand, she felt like her world was shattering into millions of pieces. She did not have the mental courage to confront Jude.

Gina sunk into depression, she no longer took care of herself, after a month she became barely recognizable, she became very thin and her face looked so pale and lifeless. One fateful dayshe bumped into Jude and his fiancée at a grocery store. Jude was more than shocked to see Gina, at first he was shocked at how sickly she looked but then he just pretended not to know her, he had only taken a few steps away from her when she blocked his way and confronted him but he pretended not to know her even when she told him her name.

Gina finally lost control, they happened to be close to the kitchen utensils section so Gina picked up a kitchen knife and charged at them. Jude overpowered her, but not before taking some hits and getting cut a little with the knife.

Just when Gina thought that things couldn't get worse, Jude handed Gina over to the police. Gina was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment.

During her sentence in prison she was tortured by both the inmates and the warden. After finally completing her sentence in prison she was to be released, the night before her release, the prison suddenly caught fire. Everyone tried to escape from the fire even Gina, but when she was escaping she heard someone calling for help inside the prison. It turned out that one of her inmates was stuck inside so she went back to help but in the process she was hit on the head by a supporting beam and she collapsed, but just before she passed out and died from excessive bleeding, a screen popped up in front of her and two options were on that screen they were { yes and no }. A voice asked her if she wanted to live again, she did not have the strength to speak or lift her hands to pick {yes} but in her heart , she still wanted to live.

And she blacked out but not before the screen disappeared.

“ miss Gina, you are not allowed to sleep in the class” a male voice said. — that voice sounds so familiar, but where have I heard it from before— Gina slowly tries to open her eyes and was shocked when she was in a classroom with other people her homeroom teacher from her first year in high school was standing right in front of her.

—wait, where am I , and why is Mr Allen here, am I dreaming. No I can't be dreaming cause I'm sure that I died—. She suddenly remembered the question she heard before she died, and then she stood up abruptly and ran out of the class with a confused expression written all over her face. She ran into the washroom and stood in front of the mirror — is this real, am I really back in high school, and if I am , how is it possible— she wondered still looking at her reflection which looked much younger than it did when she died —what was that voice I heard before I died—. «that was my voice». Gina was stunned and afraid when she heard the same voice again, she looked around searching for the source of the voice. “ who is that, show yourself”. She asked trying not to sound scared «my name is Glitch and I am the reason why you were given another chance at life» the robotic voice said again , and then a screen appeared in front of Gina, but this time it did not have options {yes and no} written on it, instead it had things like health stats, skill set, agility stats, strength stat, speed stats, combat level and everything you would normally see in an RPG game setting.

“ what is all this” she asked Glitch still unable to understand what was happening.

« well, as you can see, these are your current stats and you can increase them by getting points ». “points?, What points, and how do I get them” she asked.

« you can get points by avoiding the main events that happened in your past life and stopping them from happening again» Glitch said. “pls give me an example of one of such events” she asked Glitch.

«ok, for example in your past life you met Jude in the cafeteria on the Tuesday of the second week of the second term in high school, so you could avoid that event by not going to the cafeteria» Glitch explained. “ooh, so how do I use the points to increase my stats” «you can distribute your points to each of your stats, five points gives you one boost ». “what, only one level up for five points” she asked a little surprised at the price for one level up. All her current stats were at level 10, she was not even average so in order to increase even one of them to level fifty she would need two hundred points.

“ uhhm Glitch, if i do not meet Jude on that day how many points will I get ” Gina asked eager to know how many points she could have

« if you do not meet Jude on the appointed day, then you will receive a total of one hundred points because that is a main event»

“WHAT... So many points”. « yes, seeing as that is a main event. The more important the event the more points you receive if you avoid it or do something contrary to what you did back then.»

“ Nice, this is going to be fun ” Gina said with an excited expression

« can I tell you something » Glitch asked “yeah, go on ” « I never thought you would adapt so fast, I was expecting you to be in denial for a long time». “ I won't say that I accept that this is actually real cause a part of me believes that all this is a dream and I will wake up and find my self in prison once again, but then there's also a part of me that believes all this is real and that's what I want to completely believe. After all , as the saying goes ' Carpe Diem'.” Gina said with a mixture of emotions

« I must say you are one of a kind» Glitch commented “ thanks ” said Gina before exiting the washroom and heading back to her class.

When she reached the class there was no teacher inside but all the other students kept staring at her like she had something written on her forehead, she ignored all the stares and confidently walked back to her seat which was located at the last row of the last column.

“ Hey wierdo, why did you run out of class like that” a girl with blonde hair asked when Gina had sat down on her chair.

“nothing, I needed to use the bathroom” Gina said blankly.

The girl who talked to Gina was Kimberly, she liked bullying people because she was rich and also her brother was a third year student and he was on the basketball team, he was notorious and known for beating people who disobeyed him, he was also known for pampering his younger sister, because of that no one dared to go against Kimberly. If they were being bullied by her they could only keep quiet and endure it till she got bored and moved on to another person.

Gina remembered that one time Kimberly tried to bully her but Jude helped her, but because Kimberly liked Jude she could not do anything to Gina in front of Jude . Since then both Kimberly and Gina have been enemies.

When Kimberly found outh that Jude and Gina were going out together she was so angry, she tried many ways to humiliate, Gina but she failed every single time.

“ I hope you didn't piss on yourself on your way to the bathroom” Kimberly mocked with a grin and the whole class started laughing.

“thank you for your concern, but I did not pee on my self” Gina said acting as if she was happy that Kimberly showed concern for her.

“huhn, I was mocking you dummy” Kimberly said a little irritated at what Gina was doing.

“ even though you were mocking me I could still hear the concern laced in your voice ” Gina continued acting.

— for now I won't fight head on with her, cause I don't plan on letting Jude save me, so I need to be cautious—

Before Kimberly could reply, another teacher stepped into the class and the whole class stood up to greet her. Kimberly could only go to her seat. Meanwhile Gina had a smirk plastered on her face.

After the class, the bell for break period rang amd Gina slipped out before Kimberly could notice her. She went to the cafeteria

“thank God I got out before Kimberly turned her attention to me ” Gina whispered to herself. The cafeteria was in another building so by the time she reached there, other students were already ordering their food. She had to wait in line for her turn to order food. When it was her turn she ordered her food, took it and went to look for an empty seat. She saw a seat that was at the edge of the room. She remembered from her previous life that the outcast students were the ones that usually sat there. The outcast students were the ones who did not fit into their class, they had one defect or another, but Gina dd not mind.

She sat down and after some minutes of eating, she was approached by a group of four students.

“uhhm, p..p..please c..can we sit here” one of the students said. Gina raised her head to see who spoke, it was actually the group outcast that approached her. When they saw that their usual spot was taken they wanted to look for another place to sit but all the other tables were taken and were filled up, so they decided to try their luck with Gina since she was the only one there.

“ooh, yeah you can sit here” Gina said with a smile. The outcast students were shocked, they were not expecting Gina to let them sit there, and on top of that she was smiling at them. Even though she was a first year student, this was already the second term so there is no way she had not heard about them or seen how they were so different from others.

For example the one who asked if they could sit there was Luffy Tarmen, he was a second year student but he was shorter than a middle school student, he also had slightly bigger ears than normal, he was often called mr monkey.

Another member of the outcasts was Rayna Migell she was also a second year student. Her parent owned a sweet and dessert shop and she loved eating sweets and desserts, because of that she added a lot of weight. She was mocked by all the boys in her class and avoided by the girls. She was called plus sized Rayna.

The third member of the outcast was Laika Smith, she was a third year student, her defect was her speech impediment, she was casted aside because of her inability to communicate with others. Her nickname was fumbling lips. Even her juniors did not respect her because of her defect.

The last member of the outcast was Kyle Heather, his defect was a physical one. One of his legs was not functional so he had to use crutches to aid his walking. He was usually bullied by his classmates especially on sport days because he could not participate in any type of sport activity.

The entire outcast were looked down upon by their classmates and even by their juniors.

“uhhm, Is there something wrong” Gina asked them when she saw that they were all standing rooted in a spot.

“uhhm c..can we really sit down with you” Luffy asked shocked and wanting to confirm if she was really serious. “ yes you can, or don't you want to sit down with me” Gina asked with a questioning gaze, “no its nothing like that” Luffy answered a little flustered and afraid that she might go back on her words. Luffy motioned for the others to sit and he also joined them.

—am I that scary, why do they act as if I have horns on my head— Gina wondered when she noticed that the four of them tried to make themselves as invisible as possible, they did everything as if they were afraid that Gina would become irritated and shout at them.

“hey” Gina called out “y..yes” the four outcasts all answered in usion. “ no need to be so cautious and stiff, feel free to eat as you like, it's not as if I am going to bite you” Gina told them, trying to get them to feel relaxed and comfortable around her. “yes we will” Luffy said, but Gina could see that they were still not relaxed even after telling them to feel free. —what should I do, they are still acting so cautious— Gina contemplated, but then she suddenly got an idea.

“we haven't been properly introduced. My name is Gina Crest, now tell me your names” she said with a smile. “my name is Luffy Tarmen” Luffy said in a weak voice that was almost inaudible. “what a nice name, nice to meet you” she said “and what about you” she asked referring to the person sitting next to Luffy “my name is Rayna, Rayna Migell” Rayna replied to her with her head faced down as if she was avoiding direct eye contact with Gina

“well Rayna it's nice toeet you” Gina said, and then looked at the next person, and as if on cue the person spoke “my name is Kyle Heather, nice to meet you” Kyle spoke, compared to the rest Kyle seemed to be the most confident. “yes, nice toe meet you too”

She said she turned to the last person but before she could say anything Kyle spoke “this is Laika smith”. “oh, nice to meet you”

Gina said, from her past she heard about how one of f the members of the outcasts had a problem with her speech but she never got to meet her. —so she must be the one with the speech impediment— Gina guessed.

“once again, it's nice to meet you all”

While Gina was exchanging pleasantries with the outcasts Kimberly and two other girls from the first year walked up to where Gina was seated, “ooh, so wierdo is hanging out with her fellow wierdos” Kimberly mocked and intentionally raised her voice so that she could attract more attention

“what do you want now” Gina asked, getting annoyed at Kimberly

“ nothing, I mean seeing that you have found where you belong, I am happy for you” Kimberly added and then she laughed. People who were around and noticed the commotion also laughed.

“its not like that, we were the ones who wanted to sit with her” Luffy interjected with a shakey voice, he didn't want Gina to be bullied because she sat and talked with them

“and who asked for your opinion mr monkey just sit there and keep your mouth shut” Kimberly said spitefully.

— guess I have no other choice, I can't keep quiet anymore—

Gina stood up from her chair and looked Kimberly straight in the eye

“listen carefully cause I'm only going to say this once, don't you ever disrespect any of them every again” Gina said referring to Luffy and the others

«beep..beep, dominance aura enabled» a notification came from glitch

—whaat! What is this dominance aura for—

«system enabled dominance aura when it noticed they you were getting angry. Dominance aura makes the people around you feel afraid and unable to refute your words» glitch explained

—really I have such a skill, that will come in handy— she said in her mind

In reality her telepathic exchange with glitch did not exceed 5 seconds. She also noticed that Kimberly and her friends were shaking and had fear written all over their face. As if that was not enough Kimberley fell to her knees and tears streamed down her face, since she was born she had never been so afraid before, but just looking at Gina when she said those words made her legs give out in fear, and if not for the fact that Gina removed the dominance aura ability, Kimberly would have peed in her pants.

Kimberly's friends quickly helped her to stand and took her to another chair to sit. They were still able to stand because most of the dominance aura ability was aimed at Kimberly.

Gina sat down on her seat, “ I'm sorry for what just happened, it's my fault that Kimberly insulted you” Gina apologized to Luffy and the rest with her head down . “please forgive m....” she was cut short when she heard sobbing, she looked up and saw that Luffy had tears in his eyes. No one had ever defended them like that so Luffy was very happy. “w..why are you crying, did I do something wrong” Gina asked not knowing why Luffy was crying.

“sniff..sniff” Luffy cleaned his tears
