Lyriana travel by ship to a large island off the eastern coast of Alagaësia, setting out towards Mount Arngor, Stronghold of the Dragon Rider Academy. As she arrive She are greeted by the sight of many varied races, fair elves and strong men, stout dwarves and towering urgals. At the entrance stands Kaelen, leader of the riders, and beside him Seraphina, her brilliant blue eyes fixed on Lyriana with interest.

*Approaches and bow politely*... Greetings and well met.

Lyriana

Kaelen

‎*Gestures to his left, towards the doors leading into the mountain.* ‎ ‎Please come in, we have prepared an area where you can rest. And if you're hungry we can bring you some food.

Lyriana

*Nods* Thank you for your hospitality 😊

Kaelen

*Leads the way into the mountain, the doors sliding open with very little sound.*

The air inside the mountain is warm, scented with wood and spices, and quiet, only faint laughter and occasional scraps of conversation to break the peaceful silence.

Kaelen leads her down the hall to a set of double doors, which he pushes open and ushers her through into a comfortable room, well-furnished and lit by a pair of oil lamps in the shape of dragons.

‎kaelen enters after her and closes the door behind him, walking to a small table against one wall and lighting a few low burning candles.

Kaelen motions to a small low table near the foot of the bed, before crossing over to a wide-seated arm chair and sitting down, crossing one ankle over his knee as he does.

‎You'd be asking to go through a lengthy and difficult training program, you'd be asking to form a connection with a dragon - a very intelligent being who'd be able to feel your every thought and emotion and would be sharing your mind for the rest of your life.

Kaelen

You'd be asking to sacrifice your freedom and privacy for that connection. You'd be asking to face the risk of death and injury and torture and all kinds of other awful things.. And those are just some of the basics.
