## **MY LIFE – INTRODUCTION**
*Characters*
**AHROI RATHORE** – 25 years old. The eldest daughter of the Rathore family.
She is sweet-hearted and compassionate, but knows how to assert herself.
Ahroi aspires to be an actress, although this ambition is frowned upon in her society due to its harsh judgments.
**REENA RATHORE** – 47 years old. Ahroi's mother and a homemaker.
She has a deep love for her daughters and supports them in her subtle ways.
**ABHINAV RATHORE** – Ahroi's father, a businessman.
He adores his daughters and encourages them to pursue their dreams.
**ASSHVI RATHORE** – Ahroi’s younger sister.
Playful and innocent, she has a strong bond with her sister and often only listens to her.
**Ahroi’s Voice*
Hello, I’m Ahroi, 25 years of age. I have recently finished my studies in theatre, and I am beginning to land small roles in the entertainment field. I am fine with any part, whether it’s a supporting role in short films or episodic series. I see every role as an opportunity to learn and progress as an actor.
My mother isn’t entirely at ease with my career choice—perhaps due to society's perception of actresses. In our community, they’re not afforded much respect. Nevertheless, my parents have opted to support me in pursuit of my dreams and independence. My father, in particular, recognizes the importance of chasing one's aspirations. He once harbored ambitions of becoming a doctor but had to relinquish that dream after my grandfather's passing, which placed family responsibilities on his shoulders.
One evening, after a tiring day of shooting, I returned home and encountered my aunt, my father's sister, who was visiting. I greeted her courteously before heading to my room to freshen up. I have never particularly liked her; she always says hurtful things whenever she visits, often directed at me and my sister.
At dinner that night, we all gathered around the table. Out of the blue, my aunt declared:
“I shared some photos of Ahroi with a friend of mine. His son is interested in marrying her."
I was taken aback. She hadn’t even consulted me or discussed it with my parents beforehand.
**REENA (to my aunt\, Rettu):**
“Sorry, Didi. Ahroi is currently focusing on her career.”
**RETTU (aunt):**
“What career? An actress? They merely earn a living by flaunting their appearance and bodies.
We come from a respectable family—there’s no room for girls who sell themselves like that.
She’s just a girl. Marry her off and relieve us of the burden.
Then you can have a son-in-law—an heir for your property.”
**ABHINAV:**
“Sister, my daughter is well-educated. She can manage my business independently.
As for marriage, that will happen when she’s ready. So let’s not discuss it further. Please, enjoy your dinner.”
I felt a wave of joy. My father’s backing mattered immensely to me.
My aunt was with us for a week. While she ceased discussing my marriage, she continued to make harsh comments about my mother, especially regarding not having a son, or for permitting me to pursue acting.
During this time, my sister Asshvi was away on a college trip to Kashmir. She was unaware of my aunt's visit.
I was overwhelmed with happiness. My father’s support meant the world to me.
My aunt stayed with us for a week. She stopped talking about my marriage, but still threw cruel jabs at my mother, especially for not having a son, or for allowing me to pursue acting.
During this period, my sister Asshvi was away on a college trip in Kashmir. She was unaware that my aunt was coming to visit.
It's been about a month since that incident. I've begun to spend less time pursuing acting and more time working at my father's office. I'm truly enjoying the experience of learning about business now. It's demanding, but I'm doing my utmost.
Today\, my father has an important meeting with **Rajvanshi Corporation**—a prominent company with branches throughout India. They also operate in the entertainment sector. A few months back\, I would had been thrilled to be involved in that area of their business. However\, things have changed; I now aspire to manage my father's company.
During the meeting, while my father's assistant was making a presentation, I sensed someone observing me.
It was a man from Rajvanshi Corporation. He quickly looked away as soon as I caught his gaze.
I dismissed it and returned to taking notes.
MY LIFE - ML thought
I am your beloved male lead.
My name is Aryansh Rajvanshi, and I am 31 years of age. Similarly, I have remained single my entire life. Lately, my family has been pressuring me to find a partner. However, I haven't met any suitable women in the last three years. Occasionally, my friends even question my sexuality.
I’m quite tired of their persistent nagging regarding my marriage.
I have asked them to help me find a decent girl who isn’t a gold digger.
It's been three months since I have been consistently going on coffee dates with various girls, yet I still haven’t found a good match for myself.
Today,
I had a business meeting scheduled with Mr. Rathore. I am already feeling frustrated due to my coffee date with Mr. Malhotra's daughter. This is an important meeting that I needed to attend.
For the first time during the meeting, I found myself distracted.
But why…
My gaze is captivated by someone’s simplicity and grace. Throughout the meeting, my attention is solely on her, although she seems uneasy, perhaps because of my persistent staring.
I came to the realization that I was gazing at her like a lovesick fool.
After the meeting, I wanted to learn more about her from Mr. Rathore, but it felt inappropriate to inquire about a colleague from a partner company.
After the meeting, I instructed my assistant and best friend (Amit) to gather information about the girl I had seen at the meeting. He was taken aback and kept asking me to repeat what I had said.
***Amit responded:***
"I assumed you were more interested in boys than girls, which is why you’ve been dismissing all the ladies while badmouthing them."
I was taken aback by his reaction, especially coming from someone who has known me for most of my life, harboring such a wild assumption about me.
I didn’t clarify anything to him and ordered him to get information within two hours.
Now it's evening...
I spent the entire day at the office. Rather than focusing on work, my mind was consumed with thoughts of the girl.
At that moment, I received an email from my assistant containing the information I ordered.
The details included:
AHROI RATHORE - 25 years old and the eldest daughter of Rathore
She is sweet, kind-hearted, and gentle, but knows how to stand up for herself.
She aspires to be an actress but has started learning about the business world.

MY LIFE – Episode 3
Returning to Ahroi’s perspective...
The meeting with Rajvanshi Corporation had concluded, but I couldn’t shake thoughts about it.
It wasn’t purely about the business arrangement, even though that held significance. It was... something different.
Something unusual.
Someone....
During the meeting, I sensed someone observing me. Not the typical fleeting looks exchanged in a boardroom. This felt... deep. Intrigued. As if I was being analyzed.
At one moment, I glanced up, and for an instant, our eyes connected.
He immediately averted his gaze, feigning interest in the presentation screen.
I dismissed it. Perhaps I was simply imagining it.
Yet, even after the meeting finished, that moment replayed in my mind.
Later That Night
Once home, I sat with Papa, going over several details from the Rajvanshi deal. I aimed to remain focused, but my thoughts wandered.
“Papa,” I casually inquired, “Who was that man seated at the head of the table? The one dressed in the grey suit?”
Papa regarded me with a slight grin. “That’s Aryansh Rajvanshi. The current leader of the Rajvanshi Corporation. A sharp strategist, very selective with his business partners.
Why do you ask?”
“Oh, nothing,” I quickly replied, sipping my tea. “Just... he seemed familiar.”
Papa laughed. “He’s not the kind you easily forget. But don’t fret, sweetheart. He’s all about business—no-nonsense.”
No-nonsense?
That’s not the impression I had.
The Next Morning
I reached the office earlier than usual. Recently, I had been more enthusiastic about learning the ins and outs of Papa’s business than rehearsing lines. Acting brought me emotions, but business brought me direction.
I looked through the company email inbox and found something surprising.

Or something entirely different?*
