Wang Fei Fei was eating dinner with a friend who had come to visit her, she had suggested dinner because she was hungry and wanted to eat out so she went out with her friend, Zhang Li Yu.

They have been best friends from high school, always doing things together and loved similar things too.

" How was your time abroad?" Wang Fei Fei asked, wolfing down her food.

" I'm not going to say it was the best, but it was fine" Zhang Li Yu replied smiling sheepishly.

" Okay, if you say so" Wang Fei Fei said, wiping her mouth clean with serviette.

Throughout Wang Fei Fei's life she has never gone abroad just like Zhang LiYu despite being a famous heiress of her family. She was known throughout the country and was praised as the sunshine that everyone loved. Of course everyone loved her, and she loved that fact, kids will in fact bring candies to her when she goes to visit the amusement park and mothers could even leave their children with her for a whole day that was to the extent they all trusted her.

" Have you considered settling down?" Zhang Li Yu asked, dropping her chopsticks before relaxing into her seat looking curiously at Wang Fei Fei. Wang Fei Fei had not expected the question out of the blue, she almost choked on her noodles!.

" What are you saying, Li Yu?" Wang Fei Fei asked rhetorically coughing fervently until she stopped and downed her water.

" Marriage hasn't crossed my mind at all" Wang Fei Fei added

" I'm getting engaged " Zhang Li Yu announced

" Ooh, so you wanted to choke me first before announcing this great news huh?" Wang Fei Fei asked pushing her bowl slightly away from her.

" No, I didn't mean it like that, I did not expect you to repulse the idea of settling down like this " Zhang Li Yu quickly said in an apologetic tone.

" You don't have to apologise, this is a great news and I love it" Wang Fei Fei smiled trying to ease of the tension.

" I thought you didn't like what I said, you know we have been best friends" Zhang Li Yu said softly

" I know and that's why I can't get angry at you" Wang Fei Fei giggled

" So that necklace I asked of you, did you bring it?" Zhang Li Yu asked

" No" Wang Fei Fei replied with a straight face

" Oh" Zhang Li Yu muttered looking down.

Wang Fei Fei knew that she liked the necklace that was why she was asking it, as for the necklace it was just something she found in the attic and brought out by mistake when she had gone there to take her long abandoned designs which needed modification.

Zhang LiYu happens to see the necklace during one of her visits before going abroad. She took a like to it and tucked it in her hand but when she left she did not take it with her and has forgotten about it due to the pressure of so many works, when she finally remembered the necklace, she recalled that she did not take it with her, unfortunately she has already flown abroad, so she has to wait for sometime before getting it back.

She had called Wang Fei Fei earlier when she was coming back to the country and reminded her of the necklace which Wang Fei Fei acknowledged.

A smile stole Wang Fei Fei's face as she dug her hand into her bag and brought out the green emerald necklace.

" I brought it!" She announced laughing fervently as she recalled the look on Zhang Li Yu's face.

" What?" Zhang Li Yu said, her eyes widening at the sight of the necklace she has been longing for.

" You pranked me!" Zhang Li Yu angrily said, but a hint of playfulness laced her voice as she watched Wang Fei Fei tuck the necklace into her hand.

" Why not, you almost choked me when you announced your engagement" Wang Fei Fei said

" That reminds me, to whom are you getting married to?" Wang Fei Fei added

" The Wu family's eldest son, Wu Yu Ze"

The Wu family were among the twenty richest in the province, the family was made up of so many lawyers but only Yu Ze chose to teach and has become the most popular teacher in the country. Rumors had it that the Wu's were not satisfied with this path Yu Ze chose, but it was proven wrong in multiple videos that captured Yu Ze's parents supporting his choice.

" Wow, you are so lucky, that man always wears glasses and it is what makes him hot" Wang Fei Fei praised.

" I agree with you, he is the heartthrob of many but I took him " Zhang Li Yu said with a blush.

" Ooh, look at her blushing for Yu Ze!" Wang Fei Fei teased which even made Zhang Li Yu turn redder.

" Stop it Fei Fei or else....., I'll tell your mother you are ready to settle down" Zhang Li Yu threatened which made Wang Fei Fei stop her actions immediately.

" This is just the only way you can ever get me" Wang Fei Fei said feigning a melancholy tune.

" Okay, I won't tell her"

Wang Fei Fei's mother, Wang Yu Yan, always talked about marrying Fei Fei off to some good man, she'll always urge Wang Fei to get a boyfriend, or she'll arrange a marriage for her, but the discussion of those days didn't improve Wang Fei Fei's marital status.

If Wang Yu Yan finds out that Wang Fei Fei is ready to marry, she'll make haste to prepare a great alliance for her.

" I need to use the bathroom" Wang Fei Fei announced. She stood up taking her bag with her.

" I also need to touch my make up" she added before leaving for the bathroom.

Wang Fei Fei entered a cubicle and finished her business there, then she walked to the mirror where the wash basin was stationed, washing her hands first before touching her makeup.

When she was done she walked out of the bathroom feeling refreshed and joyful. The news about Zhang Li Yu's engagement was something she could throw a party for, she was really happy.

Wang Fei Fei noticed someone walking behind her, out of instinct she turned but she did not see any one.

Strange.

She quickened her step hoping to get to Zhang Li Yu on time before anything crazy will happen, but before she could leave the bathroom premises she was hit on the back of the head, slowly slipping into unconsciousness.

Wang Fei Fei woke up, groaning softly as the searing pain tore through her head making her dizzy. She opened her eyes, looking through her hazy vision trying to understand where she was.

The discussion that she had with Zhang LiYu flooded into her memory slowly. Zhang LiYu must be waiting for her now.

Blood!

She smelt blood in the air,, and it made her jolt into full consciousness, was she bleeding?. She stood up slowly using the nearby chair as support, the hazy feeling still lingered and she tried to fight back slumping into the chair to rest.

She needed to escape here. She did a full scan of her body and spotted no blood stains or injury on her body, so where did the blood smell come from?.

The room was dim, Wang Fei Fei whose vision was still blur shuffled her way towards the door being careful to not bump into anything.

Thud!

" Ha!" Wang Fei Fei groaned. She has stumbled over something stiff and cold on the floor now she has fallen forward, her face almost touching the ground, if her hands had not supported her she would have suffered pain on her face.

She struggled to get up moaning painful at the throbbing of her head. As if magical, the lights turned on, brightening the dim litted room. The sudden brightness pierced Wang Fei Fei's eyes making her close her eyes tightly. She succeeded in standing up and was now close to the door but she stopped suddenly. Something was wrong with her dress.

Her body felt wet, but she was dry a moment ago, looking down at herself she almost let out a scream. She shuddered as she saw the red thick liquid on her dress.

Blood!

She wasn't mistaking when she smelt blood earlier, whose blood is this?. She wondered looking curious. The place in front of her was clean but behind her......

Wang Fei Fei turned back her face horrified. Her knees were wobbling and her body shook violently as her eyes caught a lifeless figure on the floor with blood surrounding it and a knife buried into the chest.

Someone was murdered! And it was a man with strays of white hair. The man should be at least in his late sixties.

The feeling that rose up in Wang Fei Fei's stomach made her hair stand, she walked shakily to the body trying to decipher who it was, but the face was bloody. The knife that stood like a majestic soldier that conquered an enemy was still buried in the chest.

The body showed no sign of warmth that means the person has been dead for hours, if the person was dead for hours how long has she been here?.

Wang Fei Fei knelt in front of the body searching through the pockets for any identification but found none.

She held the knife with her both hands trying to pull it out of the chest then she heard an unmistakable sound of door opening. She turned her head to see who it was and she spotted a young girl that looked like a teenager holding a bag and looking at her with face paled in fear.

" You murdered someone!" The girl screamed drawing the attention of the passerby. Wang Fei Fei withdrew her hands from the knife trying to explain that the girl misunderstood but the girl still continued screaming.

The room was soon congested with people as it was small and not to big to fit in many persons.

Wang Fei Fei's face turned ashen, she was been misunderstood for murder, how can she explain that she stumbled upon the body after waking up from her unconscious state?.

" No...no.., i did not murder him!" She said, standing to her feet to address the people.

" Ha!, this lady has killed someone and now she is denying it!" Someone said from the crowd, the voice sounding disgusted.

" There are really wicked souls in this life!" Someone chimed in.

" How can a lady who looks so fine and decent murder someone? and that in a Private room of a popular restaurant " Another person said

" Her clothes looks like it cost millions and look at that bag lying there on the chair it costs one million, she is obviously rich why did she kill someone?"

Wang Fei Fei trembled as she heard these comments, the room was soon filled with indistinct chatter, everyone present were saying his or her opinion.

Wang Fei Fei could not move an inch she doesn't know what was wrong with her but she was rooted to the ground still shaking, her face pale.

Where is Zhang LiYu?, she was not in sight and it worried Wang Fei Fei. How was she going to explain her predicament to these strong willed people if they don't just keep quiet and Investigate the issue.

" Please, investigate this issue, i did not kill this man!" Wang Fei Fei tried to explain her voice strained.

" Investigate?, what is there to investigate when we have seen enough!" Someone scoffed

" The words of a murderer trying to hid a murder is always contradicting to evidence found, you deserve to go to jail for this murder!"

Wang Fei Fei's expression tensed and was visibly ashen at the mention of Jail. She has not gone to jail before and if she goes for a murder she didn't commit wouldn't that ruin her reputation and injure her dignity?.

" I... I'm saying the truth!, please investigate this issue and don't send me to jail!"Wang Fei Fei tried to explain. She did not want to go to jail, it'll be a disgrace to her family and at the peak of her fame it'll be an embarrassment since it was a sensitive period for her.

She was a fashion designer and her dreams has not been perfected to her liken this period she had to live without scandals or else....

" Please don't just judge a book by its cover, try to investigate" Wang Fei Fei urged, her body trembling.

" Isn't that lady familiar?, she looks so much like our sunshine, Wang Fei Fei " someone said from the crowd.

Wang Fei Fei bit her lip that it almost drawed blood. She was pessimistic about this murder situation, the situation was getting out of hands and someone had managed to identify her now which will lead to her career crash and her reputation destroyed.

A reputation she carefully built and molded to fit the society was now being shattered to microscopic pieces.

The crowd were talking louder and louder by the second, Wang Fei Fei just stood, rooted to the ground still trying her best to explain herself.

" It is Wang Fei Fei!" Someone exclaimed

" Wang Fei Fei?" The crowd echoed in disbelief but the truth was evident in their front, Wang Fei Fei was truly the lady standing there.

" How can this be?, she is the heiress to a billon dollar company and she has murdered someone?"

" She is even planning to further her fashion design, she said so during one interview last month "

" This woman is no longer our sunshine, she has turned into a monster "

" I can't still believe that lady who committed murder is Wang Fei Fei, is that someone who did plastic surgery to look like her?"

" You fool it is Wang Fei Fei, she posted on social media one of her shopping sprees and that dress she is wearing is one of the things bought by her even the bag "

" Everyone pave way, Fu Jia hao is coming!" Someone in the crowd yelled , immediately the people started to pave way.

Wang Fei Fei has heard that name before, she searched her memory if she could recall who the person was but couldn't.

A man entered the room, his eyes cold and aloof his features were deep and handsome coupled up with his broad shoulders, narrow waist and long legs all of which were excellent.

He walked in with an air of nobility making him stand out from the crowd. This man was Fu Jia hao, the legendary business man who was ruthless when it comes to busines, Wang Fei Fei's eyes lit up in remembrance.

This man was cold and distant to everyone not even his family got an ounce of warmth from him. His method of getting what he wants and his signature grim expression made people run far from him whenever he comes in sight.

Now Fu Jia hao was here, what was he doing here by the way? Wang Fei Fei thought shaking in fear as her eyes caught the most feared man in all of the city.

Fu Jia hao has made a name for himself in the business world even foreign.businesses were scared to go across him as he was ruthless and cunning.

Wang Fei Fei almost fell as the man stepped closer to her, his eyes sharp.

Fu Jia hao stopped in front of Wang Fei Fei and his gaze drifted to the corpse on the floor, for a moment he went stiff and his entire demeanor changed from cold and distant to scary and something undecipherable.

His piercing gaze cut through Wang Fei Fei making her shudder for a moment.

" Did you kill him?" he asked, his voice trembled lightly and was full of anger.

" N...No" Wang Fei Fei amswerd stammering while looking down. Her body was covered in the corpse blood which made her answer seem odd.

Fu Jia hao's eyes darkened as he watched the girl refuse to the murder when she was mostly covered in blood.

" She is lying Fu Jia hao, I saw her holding the knife to the man's chest when I entered here by mistake" The young girl who first spotted Wang Fei Fei spoke up.

" Yes, she was the only one here with the dead man" Someone added again.

Wang Fei Fei couldn't believe her ears, the people who were praising her since childhood has suddenly turned against her in a short period of time even explaining how they saw her holding the knife.

Wang Fei Fei's eyes turned red and a tear rolled down making her look pitiful, most people's heart softened at the sight but in the eyes of Fu Jia hao it was as if she was acting.

" Save those tears cause you'll be using them in the future" Fu Jia hao said, his voice sounding dead. His face clenched as if restraining himself from doing something dangerous.

" I swear I did not murder the man" Wang Fei Fei blurted her voice brittle. She really didn't commit murder everything here was a misunderstanding, someone had planned this scenario and the worst thing was that nothing here was flawed all evidence was pointing at her.

" You don't have to pretend, I'll make sure you suffer from murdering my father" Fu Jia hao said his voice gruff. He stepped aside to one side of the room whipping out his phone to make a call.

The crowd outside were keen and quiet, their earlier noise and chatter dying down as if it were not there again.

So the man who was killed is Fu Jia hao's father!, Wang Fei Fei took in a deep breath her body shaking at the impact. What was she going to do now?, someone had deliberately knocked her out and put her in same room as this big shot's father framing her for his death.

After making the call, Fu Jia hao walked back to Wang Fei Fei, his eyes darker than before.

" You are the heiress of the Wang family, " He stated not even meaning it like a question.

" The hospital management will send some people to run a test on the knife used for the murder, if it shows your fingerprint then you leave me no choice"

What does he mean by you leave me no choice?, Wang Fei Fei raised her head abruptly wanting to ask him what he meant but the intensity of his gaze forced her to look away.

The people who Fu Jia hao had phoned rushed in, it has been less than six minutes since he had called them.

They took the knife and set out for the hospital.

Fu Jia hao had two men carry Wang Fei Fei to the hospital to confirm the result.

" Stop!, stop pulling me like that" Wang Fei Fei yelled pulling away from the grasp of the two men. The hold was painful and she wanted to walk alone.

This behaviour made Fu Jia hao believe that truly the girl was responsible for the murder, his face turned black as he realised this.

" Bound her if you have to but make sure she gets to the hospital!" He ordered the huge men.

The men entered a different car from Fu Jia hao reaching the hospital later than him still dragging Wang Fei Fei along with them.
