📱 A phone buzzes. A message reads:
"I'm sorry. Let's end it here."

🌇 The sky glows in warm amber, fading slowly into dusk. Cold wind brushes past. Ha Rin stands by the railing, arms folded, her thoughts loud in the quiet air.
*🚶♂️** Footsteps approach softly behind her. She doesn't turn.***
Seo Joon
(calm, low voice)
It's been a while... Ha Rin.
Ha Rin
(still facing the sunset)
Yeah... a long while.
***👦 He steps beside her. Their eyes both on the horizon, but tension crackles between them.***

(half a laugh)
A lot can change in seven years.
***She shifts slightly to leave, but-
✋ Seo Joon grabs her wrist, then wraps an arm around her waist, pulling her back into him.***

(shocked)

(angry)
That's none of your business!
***She struggles and finally breaks free of his grip. Turns sharply to face him, her breath uneven.***

(pausing, then sharply)
Yes. He is.
Seo Joon
(Says nothing. His jaw clenched, eyes locked on her.)
**✋ Seo Joon grabs her again, pulling her close a second time-his voice lower, desperate.***
Seo Joon
Don't lie to me, Ha Rin... don't.
**They stare at each other, breaths shallow, time suspended between them-
🚶♂️ Footsteps. Slow. Calm. Approaching.***
***👀 Seo Joon hears it and finally releases her. Ha Rin takes a step back just as-**
Han
(from behind, casually)
I was looking for you.
He walks in, hands in pockets, glancing between the two.
Han
(to Ha Rin, gently)
Hey... everything okay?
His eyes move to Seo Joon. He gives a polite nod.
Seo Joon
(straightening, curtly)
Seo Joon.
**Han freezes for a moment. The name hits him. He turns to Ha Rin with a quiet look-uncertain but calm.**
Ha Rin
(Softly, avoiding Han's eyes)
We should go.
*Han nods slowly. Without another word, he gently leads her away. Seo Joon watches, unmoving, eyes fixed on Ha Rin's back until she disappears through the door.*
[Terrace - empty now. Wind brushing past. Distant laughter from the hall below.]
** Seo Joon stares in the direction they left.**

(thinking)
She's lying. I know those eyes. That look.
**His jaw tightens. The golden sky has dimmed now, the sun slipping behind clouds.**

(thinking)
I'm not going to lose you this time, Ha Rin.
**He closes his eyes. The wind brushes through his hair. Quiet. Heavy. He breathes it in... then turns and walks away alone.**
