Kingdom of Aurenya
Jeon Jungkook's Realm
The banners of Solis fluttered under a cold, silver sky — a sea of black and crimson, marked by the sigil of a phoenix rising from ash.
At the heart of the obsidian-crowned castle lived Crown Prince Jeon Jungkook — the last True Blood Alpha, heir to an ancient bloodline feared and revered.
Jungkook was perfection carved in flesh: black hair falling like shadows over blade-sharp eyes, power coiled beneath his skin like a sleeping beast. He moved through the halls like a storm barely restrained.
Jungkook's life was forged in discipline:
No dreams.
No softness.
Only strength.
Only war.
kingdom of Varyndor
Kim Taehyung's Realm
Across the cursed valley, under a bleeding red moon, lay the Kingdom of Varyndor — a realm veiled in ancient secrets and bloodstained magic.
Once ruled by his parents, now ruled by their silence, Prince Kim Taehyung grew up amongst shadows and prophecies.
Taehyung learned the golden truths of survival:
Love is dangerous.Trust is betrayal.Power is everything.
Taehyung was a creature of beautiful menace:
Elegant. Dark. Untouchable.
An Elite Enigma, gifted with forbidden arts, he roamed the haunted gardens of Varyndor , reading ancient stones that whispered secrets of a destined rival.
A name began to haunt him:
Jeon Jungkook.
The one he would fight.
The one he would crave.
Destiny murmured it.
Obsession promised it.
And from that moment, Taehyung didn’t want to rule the world.
He wanted to own Jungkook.
.The twin moons hung low in the sky—one silver, one blood-red—as if the heavens themselves were torn between light and shadow.
On the borders of Aurenya, where the forest of Duskveil met the forbidden ridges of Varyndor, time stilled. The air trembled, laced with the scent of steel, smoke, and old magic. Here, nothing moved without purpose. No one wandered without cause.
Jeon Jungkook, Crown Prince of Aurenya, walked alone among the ruins of an old battlefield—his breath curling like frost in the night air, sword strapped to his back, and his power hidden beneath layers of restraint
His black cloak billowed behind him, stitched with phoenix feathers from his ancestral sigil, catching the moonlight like fire trapped in silk.
He had no reason to be there.
Except something had pulled him. A whisper. A shadow. A dream that wasn't his.
He tightened his jaw. He didn’t believe in fate. But something in this cursed place made the blood beneath his skin hum with recognition. Magic pulsed in the bones of the earth, and deep within, so did a warning.
Cloaked in black velvet and midnight silk, standing beneath the withered tree that had once marked the center of the dead battlefield, was Kim Taehyung, Crown Prince of Varyndor.
For a moment, silence stretched between them—unblinking, unbreathing. Time cracked like glass.
Jungkook’s gaze was sharp, full of steel and judgment. A soldier’s eyes. A ruler’s eyes.
Taehyung’s were worse. Warm. Distant. Obsessed. Like he already knew Jungkook, as if he’d lived a thousand lives waiting for this moment.
Jeon Jungkook
"You’re trespassing," *said coldly, hand twitching toward his blade.*
Kim Taehyung
* Tilted his head, unbothered* "Am I? Or are you lost, Prince of Fire?"
Jeon Jungkook
"Don't call me that."
Kim Taehyung
"I’ll call you what I like." * pause. A smirk * "You’re even prettier up close."
Jeon Jungkook
* Eyes narrowed * "Are you flirting or threatening?"
Kim Taehyung
* Stepped closer, boots silent over the dead leaves * "Both. Maybe."
Jeon Jungkook
"You’ve crossed into Aurenyan territory. Give me one reason not to kill you where you stand."
Kim Taehyung
"Because we’re not so different, you and I." *voice was low, velvety, dangerous *
Kim Taehyung
"Because I’ve seen you before.
Kim Taehyung
because of prophecy and blood. Because fate says our stories are woven together. And because—"
Taehyung stepped even closer, close enough that Jungkook could see the faint glimmer of rune marks dancing like shadows across Taehyung’s throat.
Kim Taehyung
"—I’m not afraid of you."
Jungkook drew his blade in one smooth motion, cold silver gleaming beneath the moons.
Power exploded from his body like wildfire. The air burned. The earth cracked. True Blood Alpha. Untamed. Unmatched.
Taehyung didn’t flinch. If anything, his smile widened.
Kim Taehyung
"Beautiful," * whispered* "Now do you see it? You’re not like them either. You feel it too."
Jeon Jungkook
"I feel nothing," * growled *
Kim Taehyung
"Then why haven’t you struck me down?"
Jungkook froze. His grip tightened.
He hated everything Taehyung stood for. Varyndor was darkness. Deceit. Magic soaked in blood. His father had told him to never trust a Varyndorian—especially not a royal. But standing there, facing this prince, felt different.
It felt like standing at the edge of something terrifyingly infinite.
Jeon Jungkook
"You’re cursed," * hissed * "Whatever magic binds you—I’ll cut it down."
Taehyung’s smile vanished.
Suddenly the air went cold.
Dark tendrils of magic slipped from his fingertips, coiling around the broken roots like serpents. His eyes, once honey-warm, now glowed violet with ancient power.
Kim Taehyung
"You think I’m cursed?" he whispered. "I was born in shadow, raised by ghosts, taught by a kingdom that forgets how to love. But you… you’re cursed by duty. You wear your crown like chains."
Jeon Jungkook
"And yet I walk free."
A gust of wind howled between them, sharp as a blade. Taehyung’s magic clashed against Jungkook’s aura like waves crashing against a burning cliff.
The night groaned with the weight of their power.
They could’ve destroyed each other.
But something held them back.
Call it destiny.
Call it madness.
Taehyung reached forward, fingers brushing the edge of Jungkook’s blade.
And Jungkook didn’t stop him.
Kim Taehyung
"You dream of war," * he murmured * "I dream of you."
Kim Taehyung
"Why? Because it scares you?"
Jeon Jungkook
"Because you don’t know what I’ll become if you push me."
Kim Taehyung
"I’m counting on it," *whispered*
And then, like a ghost, he stepped back, disappearing into the shadows without a sound—only his scent lingered: smoke, secrets, and obsession.
Jungkook stood alone once more, sword still raised, breath uneven.
He didn’t understand what had just happened.
All he knew was this: nothing in his life had ever shaken him like those few stolen minutes beneath the moons. Not battle. Not pain. Not prophecy.
And that terrified him more than any war ever could.
Back in the obsidian halls of Varyndor, Taehyung stood before the mirror in his chambers.
His fingers brushed the place where Jungkook’s blade had hovered—just an inch from his throat. A phantom wound. A promise unkept.
He stared at his reflection. Dark curls. Dark eyes. Dark hunger.
Kim Taehyung
"You’ll be mine," he whispered to the night.
Kim Taehyung
"And if I must burn kingdoms to claim you… so be it."

Chapter 2
The great citadel of Aurenya rose like fire-stained marble above the dawn mist, its towers carved in ancient dragonbone and gilded obsidian. From the highest spire, the entire kingdom stretched into the horizon — lush forests, burning deserts, and mountains veined with gold.
But Jeon Jungkook wasn’t looking at any of it.
He stood alone in the Hall of Ancients, the morning sun casting fractured light through the stained-glass windows. The floor beneath him was etched with the names of fallen kings and queens — warriors who bled their bones into Aurenya’s soil to build its legacy. And yet, today, it all felt… hollow.
Because of a single night beneath the twin moons.
Jungkook gritted his teeth, fist clenched so tight the golden rings on his fingers cut into his skin.
Hated that he remembered the way Taehyung spoke his name like a secret. Hated the way his magic had tasted in the air — sweet, poisonous, like a forbidden fruit Jungkook shouldn’t have dared to breathe in.
He should have killed him.
And that weakness? It echoed in his blood like a curse.
.....
"Your aura’s off-balance,"
Came a calm voice from behind.
Jungkook didn’t need to turn.
Jeon Jungkook
"Uncle Namjoon."
The High War Mage stepped beside him, eyes scanning Jungkook’s face with quiet calculation.
Namjoon
"You were gone last night. No guards. No word. Just a report from the border wardens — that something shook the magic lines near Duskveil."
Namjoon didn’t need him to. His silence said more than words.
Namjoon
"You saw him, didn’t you?"
Namjoon
"Taehyung. Prince of Varyndor. He’s more dangerous than you realize. Not because of his power… but because of what he awakens." * Sighed *
Jeon Jungkook
* Turned sharply * "What are you saying?"
Namjoon
"I’m saying he’s not just a threat to the kingdom. He’s a threat to you."
Jeon Jungkook
* Jaw clenched * "You think I’m weak?"
Namjoon
"I think you’re unraveling. And the worst part is—you don’t even know why."
Across the mountains, hidden beneath layers of fog and dark enchantments, the kingdom of Varyndor slumbered in icy splendor.
Thorns bloomed along its towers. Crystalline beasts roamed its shadowed halls. And in the royal sanctum, cloaked in raven-feather drapes and serpent scales,
A flicker of flame. A jawline carved from war. A flash of black eyes and trembling rage
Every time Taehyung breathed his name into the runes, he saw him.
Not clearly. Just fragments. Enough to drive him mad.
Kim Taehyung
"He felt it," *whispered*
Dipping his fingers into the basin, painting the reflection with desire.
Kim Taehyung
"Even if he pretends he didn’t. That look in his eyes… he knows. He knows there’s something between us."
Behind him, a shadow stirred.
.....
"You're playing with fire, my prince,"
A low voice — husky, female, and venom-laced.
Kim Taehyung
* Didn't’t turn.* "I don’t fear fire. I crave it."
Yura
"Jungkook isn’t like the others. He’s not a puppet to be charmed or broken."
Kim Taehyung
"Exactly." * pause * "He’s the only one worth chasing."
Lady Yura, Varyndor’s spymaster and blood-witch, stepped forward, her crimson veil glistening with runes.
Yura
"Your obsession will cost us. War looms. The Council already doubts your loyalty to the Varyndorian cause."
Taehyung finally looked up.
His eyes glowed—not with innocence or infatuation, but something older. Wilder.
Kim Taehyung
"Let them doubt. Let them whisper."
He stood, blood dripping from his fingertips.
Kim Taehyung
"I don’t care for their games. This isn’t about thrones or armies. It’s about him."
Yura
"And if he refuses you?"
Kim Taehyung
"A man can refuse a crown.
Kim Taehyung
" He can refuse fate. "
Kim Taehyung
" But no one refuses what’s already written in the bones of the world."
Yura stared at him for a long time. Then, slowly, she knelt.
Yura
"So be it, my prince. If we burn for this—then may the flames be beautiful."
Back in Aurenya, the palace throne room buzzed with tension.
War banners hung heavy. Generals stood flanking the Queen’s dais, murmuring troop movements, missing scouts, and strange energy pulses near the border.
Queen Seohyun sat in silence as Jungkook entered, his cloak stained with dust and magic scars not yet healed.
Seo-Hyung
"Prince Jeon," * said formally * "We have reports of arcane corruption near the Moonspire. Your thoughts?"
Jeon Jungkook
"It’s him,....Taehyung."
Queen Seohyun’s eyes darkened.
Seo-Hyung
"So the rumors are true."
Jeon Jungkook
"They are," * his voice unwavering* "He crossed into Aurenyan lands. He knew where I’d be. He wanted me to see him."
Seo-Hyung
"And what did you want?"
Jeon Jungkook
"I wanted to kill him."
Seo-Hyung
"And yet he lives."
But every silence is a confession.
Seo-Hyung
* Lips tightened * "You’ve been compromised."
Jeon Jungkook
* Fists shook * "No. I’m clear-headed. I know what he is."
Seo-Hyung
"And yet he lives," she repeated.
Namjoon
"We must act. Varyndor grows bold. If we wait, they will strike first."
Seohyun nodded slowly. Then looked at Jungkook.
Seo-Hyung
"You will lead the first wave. You will bring me Taehyung’s head."
But inside, something cracked.
He wanted to obey. Wanted to be the loyal prince, the perfect heir.
But even now, as the order burned through the air, his thoughts drifted back to that night. To violet eyes. To words spoken like prophecy.
Kim Taehyung
“You dream of war. I dream of you.”
That night, sleep didn’t come.
Jungkook lay in his chamber, moonlight painting pale silver across his sheets, mind haunted by everything he shouldn’t feel.
He remembered Taehyung’s touch—not violent, not desperate. Intimate.
He remembered his voice—dark silk hiding blades.
And worst of all, he remembered how alive he had felt standing in front of him.
Like he was made for that moment.
He slammed his fist into the wall. Cracks bloomed like spiderwebs.
Jeon Jungkook
"No," he whispered. "I won’t fall."
But fate doesn’t ask for permission.
It only waits for the right moment to strike.
Far away, on a cliff overlooking the chasm between kingdoms, Taehyung stood alone.
He could feel it — the pull.
Soon, Aurenya would march. Blood would spill.
He had seen it in the stars. In the mirror of blood
Their fates were knotted.

Chapter 3
The war horns sounded at dawn.
From the palace gates, soldiers marched in gleaming rows — banners whipping like tongues of flame, armor reflecting the rising sun. Magic sigils glowed faintly along their shields, a protective ward humming beneath every step.
Jungkook stood at the forefront, his sword strapped to his back, his black war cloak billowing around him.
But his eyes were distant, locked not on the path ahead, but on something deeper, colder, crawling beneath his ribs.
Namjoon
“The men await your command.”
Jungkook gave a curt nod.
Jeon Jungkook
“We move at first light.”
In the distance, past the banners and battalions, the mountains loomed — jagged and white-tipped, like dragon spines piercing the heavens. Somewhere beyond them lay Varyndor. And somewhere beyond Varyndor… him.
The name coiled inside his chest like a serpent.
Namjoon placed a steady hand on his shoulder.
Namjoon
“Remember who you are, Jungkook.”
He almost laughed. Almost.
Because that was the problem.
Not since the night under the twin moons, when the lines between enemy and something else blurred — when every strike they traded felt like a question neither dared to answer.
Jeon Jungkook
“Ready the scouts,” * he ordered * “We take the Moonspire by nightfall.”
Namjoon
bowed. “As you command.”
And as the army surged forward, a storm gathering at their backs, Jungkook whispered under his breath — a name he wasn’t supposed to long for.
Meanwhile, in the shadowed heart of Varyndor, Taehyung stood in the Raven Tower, gazing out across his kingdom’s frostbitten expanse.
The Council chamber behind him pulsed with restless murmurs — elders cloaked in bone and smoke, their eyes sharp as knives.
Lady Yura spoke first, her voice as cold as the wind that rattled the tower.
Yura
“Aurenya marches. Their banners fly at the Moonspire. And you… you’re still tethered to him.”
Kim Taehyung
“I never denied it.”
An old war priest slammed his staff into the stone floor.
.....
“Prince, he is the enemy! Aurenya has bled our borders for centuries. His bloodline is poison.”
Taehyung’s lips curved faintly.
Kim Taehyung
“And yet poison knows poison.”
Yura
“Enough riddles!” * she snapped * “If you won’t strike him down, he’ll destroy you.”
At that, Taehyung turned. Slowly. Deliberately.
And in his gaze shimmered something ancient, something the Council didn’t understand — couldn’t understand.
Kim Taehyung
“I don’t want to kill him,” * said softly * “I want him to choose.”
Taehyung’s smile deepened, bittersweet.
Kim Taehyung
“To burn with me.”
Night fell swift and brutal over the Moonspire.
The Aurenyan army encamped at its base, their fires a constellation of orange dots beneath the towering cliffs.
In his tent, Jungkook traced the edge of his sword absentmindedly, listening to the winds howl beyond the canvas.
A presence. Watching. Waiting.
And when he stepped outside, he wasn’t surprised to see him.
At the peak of the Moonspire, cloaked in shadows and moonlight, stood Taehyung — his silhouette framed by the swirling mist, his blonde hair tousled by the wind.
They simply stared across the chasm of stone and fate, tethered by something neither crown nor kingdom could sever.
And as lightning cracked across the sky, illuminating both their faces, Jungkook knew.
Tomorrow, everything would change.
But because the blade he carried wasn’t meant to kill Taehyung.
It was meant to carve the only path left between them.
A path neither would return from.
