Jimin's POV

" Urgh... "

I tried hard to open my eyes. But the only thing that I could see is just a white wall with a white door and white doorknob. Everything is white. I'm here again. Always in the same room.

A woman stepped into my room and stop infront of me.

" Patient 005? " she called my name.

Yup. That is the name they used to call me. I remembered asking myself on the first day I was here. What is my name actually? But after I spent a whole 5 months in here, I could finally remembered my name.

" It's JIMIN. " I said.

The woman who is wearing a white lab coat and white shoes smirked.

" Well, Patient 005. It's seems like your stats are improving since the last five months. It's suprisingly fast because the other patients need atleast 2 years to find out what their name is. " she said.

My eyebrows knitted together. What does she mean by that? 2 years?

" You must be confused right now, Patient 005. Later, you will have a new roommate. He is called Patient 007. He has been here for five months too so I think that maybe you guys can become FRIENDS. " she smiled eventhough I know it's fake.

Before she turned around, she said something that make me even more confused.

" Amazingly all seven of you learnt quickly than others. You guys also realized something quicker. Let's just say... Seven Miracle Boys? Your blood is different from the others... And that just make this experiment more interisting."

Then, she went out of my room. What the heck does that supposed to be mean? Blood? Different? Experiment? What are we? Some kind of animals? Wait... What is animal by the way?

I sighed in frustration. Maybe it's just another tricks to make me feels like I'm belong here or they just wanted me to think and think again until my brain can't take it more. Then, I might become crazy for real.

Let's just ignored that feelings and sleep. Sleep~

End of Jimin's POV

No One's POV

Patient 007 entered the room. His eyes stared at a figure on the other bed infront of him.

' Is he Patient 005? ' he asked himself.

He ignored the man and started reading a book that always being by his side no matter where he is.

The title of the book is 'MAZE'. How to run out of the maze that have a lot of ways out. But also, maybe there are gonna be a lot of traps. Either we make it and survive or got caught and died.

He had finished reading the book for like tenth time. He memorized almost one of the book.

MAZE has a lot of series. It has 7 series. He has all of them. But he only read one that attracts him the most. The book that he read is series number seven and the title is 'MAZE : The Catcher'

The Catcher is about a guy who has a lot of specialities. He is great in archery, wrestling and even knows how to draw well. He got the face, and his charm is hia sweet voice. A perfect man. He is a body builder. Since he is the youngest out of all his team members, he is often get called The Golden Young. He can do everything. By all means everything. Except one. He can't resist his sleepiness.

When he sleeps, he can't get up. Which means that everything that goes around him eventhough a loud BAMM sound can't wake him up. That's why he should be fully charged before a battle. It would be really bad if he was getting sleepy in the middle of the war.

Patient 007 continued his reading until suddenly, a firm hand touch his shoulder. In a defense mode, he snapped those fingers until the owner of the hand scream loudly.

" ARGHH!!! "

Patient 007 quickly loosened his grip when he knew that it it Patient 005 who touch him.

" I'm sorry. I thought that it was one of the guards who wanted to take me somewhere else. " he quickly apologized.

' Wait... Why am I apologizing? Is he older than me? He seems like he is younger than me though. Well... He is shorter and smaller than me**. ' Patient 007 asked himself about Patient 005.

" Urm.. It's okay... " Patient 005 replied.

The room filled with silenced.

" So... Do you already know what your name is? " he asked.

Patient 007 looked at him. He nods quickly then continued his reading.

" Really? What is your name then? I'm Jimin. " Patient 005 told Patient 007 happily.

" Jungkook. " Patient 007 replied.

" Well, Jungkook. It's nice to meet you. And by nice, it's really great when you said that you are sorry for snapped me earlier. " Jimin said while smiling bright.

Jungkook just nods. He is not being rude and unfriendly. It's just that he is not used to be talkactive since he was here. Who should he be talking to except for the guard and the doctor? If there was a mirror, maybe he will just talk to his reflection all night long.

" Hey... Don't be shy. We can be friends. Besides, I think that we had met before and maybe, just maybe we came from the same hometown." Jimin said sheepishly.

Jungkook stared at Jimin for a while. He give Jimin a book.

" Do you... Do you want to read it? " Jungkook asked.

" I would love to! " Jimin replied happily.

Jimin looked at six books infront of him.

" What is this? " Jimin asked.

" It's The Maze. It has seven series. I have read all of it once but I am attracted to the seventh series entitled 'MAZE : The Catcher.' You can picked the one that you love. I'm not gonna read the rest of it though. " Jungkook said.

Jimin thinks for a while before he grabbed a book. 'MAZE : The Runner'.

" I'm gonna have this one then. Thanks by the way. " said Jimin.

Jungkook just give him a nod.

This is only the beginning of our friendship. Maybe he will lead me to an amazing life after we both get out of this building. Just* maybe, I can put a tiny bit of my faith in him. Right*?

" Attention to all patients. All of you need to stop whatever you guys are doing right now. Your guards will take you back to your room. Please behave yourself if you guys doesn't want to be dragged into the special room. Thank you. "

The announcement filled all around this white building. Everything is extremely white in here. Even the clothes they are wearing is white.

Jungkook and Jimin just followed their guard back to their room. Suddenly...

CRASHH!!

A loud noise came from behind them. Jungkook and Jimin immediately turn around to see what happened.

A young man who has blonde hair is throwing stuffs. He is really mad at his guard. He doesn't want to live in this asylum for the rest of his life! It's sucked!

" Hey... Who is that stranger? " Jimin elbowed Jungkook.

" I don't know but... He seems familiar. " Jungkook replied.

Jimin looked at Jungkook confused.

" Did you feel that too? It's the same with me! I think that I know him from somewhere. But... Where? " Jimin said quietly.

The two of them looked at the young man carefully. Who is he?

" PATIENT 001! PLEASE BEHAVE YOURSELF! " a loud voice shout.

" No! All of you are crazy! The guards and the so called doctors! The patients are not sick! But you guys are the one who needs to be locked in this asylum!!! " he shout back.

" Guards! Take him to the special room! Now! "

The guards quickly dragged him to the special room.

" No!! No!! Let me go!! ARGHHH!! " his voice echoed through the white walls.

When he is being dragged, his gaze met with Jungkook's and Jimin's.

" You... "

Jungkook and Jimin stared at the man weirdly. They can't hear the rest of the words because that man has entered the special room.

" Namjoon hyung? " Jungkook and Jimin asked at the same time.

Namjoon's POV

" ARGH! " I shout angrily.

Here I am. Again. Back into this so called special room. How many times has it been? Tenth? Or maybe almost fifteen?

" Patient 001. Welcome again. I guess that you really love being here, huh? " a man who wears spectacles asked in the most annoying tones I've ever heard in my life.

" What are you guys planning to do with all of us? My friends? My team members? " I asked loudly.

That guy smirked. He came nearer towards me.

" It seems like you recovered yourself very well. You are so quick-witted. As the leader of your group isn't it? " that guy asked.

I glared at him.

" Well... I'm gonna give you some gifts then so that you can be more humble because you know so much things. " he stop his sentence before looking at the guards.

" Continue your works. " he continued.

With that, the guards hold me down and locked my movement. My legs and my arms are being tied tightly. I looked up to meet with my best friend.

" Good night. "

Then, it's starting to shine.

" ARGHHHH!!!!! "

Room Patient 005 and Patient 007

Jungkook and Jimin sit quietly on their bed. After the guard and doctor left, they stared at each other weirdly.

" Okay. I know that you have the same question for me too. But... How did both of us know him? " Jungkook asked.

Jimin shrugged.

" I don't know. It's not like we know him entirely but... He just seems... familiar. " Jimin mumbled.

" There must be something going on here. Let's just kept quiet about this first. I think, we might knew all seven of us. " Jungkook said.

Jimin looked at Jungkook confusedly.

" Seven? What made you certain that there are seven of us? I mean. Another five people that just same as us? Know each other? " Jimin asked.

Jungkook brought the Maze series and put it according to each book.

" Look.  I have seven series of these books. But why? There must be something about this. About why must I had this book and why must it has seven series? "

Jimin just kept quiet and listen attentively about what Jungkook said.

" I chose 'MAZE : The The Catcher'. While you chose 'MAZE : The Runner'. Why did we chose series five and seven? Why didn't we choose series one that would absolutely make us know what happened since the begining? " Jungkook stop for a moment and stared at Jimin.

" So... You are telling me that... All of this series have their own owners? " Jimin asked.

" Exactly. We have met Namjoon hyung eventhough it's not face to face. He is Patient 001. And... This might be his. "

Jungkook give Jimin a book.

'MAZE : The Mastermind'.

In a place that looks like a lab... 😅

A lady who has long straight hair is watching the CCTV carefully.

" Dr. Kim. "

She turned around to see who is calling for her.

" Yes, Mrs. Park? " she replied.

" I have a task for you. New task. " Mrs. Park said.

" I'm going to take care of this task very well. But... What is it? " Dr. Kim asked.

" You will be one of the patient. You need to watch carefully about this one patient. We need to make sure that all of our patients did not become aware of themselves or we will be dead if that time come.

This is a very special and hard task, Dr. Kim. So, I must ensure you that you know the risk of having this task. You need to be very careful and you might need to risk your own life. Enough of this pep talk. Your assigned patient is... Patient 005. "

Dr. Kim stunned. No... Not him...

2000 Feb 18th.. (5 years old)

" Eun!!! "

Kim turned around to see a boy is running towards him.

" Chim!! " Kim replied waving at him.

Chim stop infront of Kim.

" I miss you! Let's play hide and seek! " Chim said.

" Okay! But is it only two of us? We need more people! " Kim said.

" Huh? Don't worry! I bring my friends too! Guys!!! " Chim shout.

Then, Kim saw six boys came towards both of them.

" Kim Eunha? "

Back in reality

" Are you okay, Dr. Kim? " Mrs. Park asked.

Eunha nodded. She sighed before thinking about it.

' Jimin... '

" Patient 004. Please go to the library now. "

Patient 004 followed his guard without arguing. He felt scared to throw any tantrums because he doesn't want to enter the special room. He had seen what happened towards patient who went into that room. Horrible...

He sit on the chair while waiting for the librarian to give him some books.  While he waits for it, he looks around the library. There are another patients in here too. Ofcourse with their own guards.

" Hmm... "

He looks at the corner of the room and he spot someone.

" Is that... "

Before he could finish his sentence, the patient's guard called him.

" Patient 002! Please read your book now! "

Patient 004 looks at Patient 002 curiously. He thinks that he know that guy. But... When?

THUD!

There are three books infront of Patient 004. Entitled 'Psychologist : Brain' 'Doctor : Psycho' and 'Dreams : Daydream'.

" Patient 004, please pick one book. " his guard said.

Patient 004 looks at each book. Then, he pick a book.

" I'll take this one. " he showed up 'Dreams : Daydream' book.

" Very well then. " his guard said putting away the other books.

Patient 004 reads calmly.

Everyone has their own dreams. It have many meanings...

The Dreamcatcher

Patient 004 looks closely at the picture infront of him.

" It's... Beautiful... " he mumbles.

He touched the picture and close his eyes. He felt some kind of energy rushed into his body. And a bolt of lightning came across his eyes.

A sudden change of vision makes him worried. He is in his room. Not his white room but... His room in his house... He looked at his bed.

" It's a... Dreamcatcher? " he asked himself.

Knock! Knock!

" Hoseok ahh. Your friends are here. Get down now. "

Hoseok stunned. That voice... Is that..

" Mom? " he whispered.

Suddenly, he is back into the library again. He stand up and look at his guard.

" Patient 004. Please sit down. Your reading is not finished yet. " his guard said in a robotic tone.

" I-I know... But.. I don't feel well right now... Can I go back.. To m-my room? " Hoseok asked.

The guard looks at him suspiciously before agreed. Hoseok went back to his room.

" What was that? " he muttered to himself.

He remembered that he heard his mom voice. It seems like he does have a parent but... How are they looks like?

He felt sudden urge to know about his family. But... How?

" Calm down, Hoseok. We will find out about this. Sooner or later. And... We will know... What is Hoseok's family name. " Hoseok said to himself.

Meanwhile, in Jungkook and Jimin's room.

" Hey, Jungkook. " Jimin said.

" Hm? "

" Do you think that... We are trapped here because we are crazy when we go out of this asylum or that... We are something unpredictable? " Jimin asked.

Jungkook looked at Jimin weirdly.

" What do you mean by unpredictable? " Jungkook asked Jimin.

" Well... I th-- "

Klik! Jimin stopped his sentence when he heard that sound.

The guard open their room door and stared at both of them, inspecting something. Then, a bed and another supplies which is ofcourse white, being replaced in the middle of the room.

" You will get another new friend. This will just be memontarily. Maybe in a few days, all of you will move to a bigger room. And also... A new kind of device room. " the guard said.

Jungkook and Jimin just keep quiet. What can they do? Just let it be...

After a few minutes, a tall man entered the room.

" Welcome to your new room, Patient 004. " the guard said before dissapearing behind the door.

" Urmm... Hello? " Jungkook said to the man.

Hoseok startled. This is the first time ever he could comunicate with others.

" Don't be scared, okay? What's your name? " Jimin asked calmly.

Hoseok keep quiet.

" Okay. Let me tell you our names. I am Jimin and that guy is Jungkook. What's yours? " Jimin asked again.

" Hoseok. My name is Hoseok. " Hoseok said after analyse them.

Seems like no harm done. Hoseok thought.

" You are Patient 004, right? " Jimin asked.

Hoseok nodded.

" Great then! I have something for you! " Jimin said happily.

He goes to his desk and pulled out a book. Then, he get Hoseok and they sit on his bed. Jungkook just watched them from his desk.

" Here. " Jimin said and give Hoseok the book.

Hoseok take a look at the title and hold it. Examine it.

'MAZE : The DreamCatcher'

" For me? " he asked.

" No. It's yours. " Jimin replied and smiled.

Hoseok's brow knitted.

" Mine? But I don't even have this book before. " he said.

Jimin laughed.

" Okay. I know that you don't understand about this now but Jungkook and I will tell you when we moved out of this room into a bigger room. We need to have all seven of us. " Jimin explained.

" Seven? What do you mean? " Hoseok asked confusedly.

" Bro. Just listen to us. Then, the so-called doctors won't noticed anything. Okay? " Jungkook said sternly.

Hoseok nodded.

A few days later...

" Attention to Patient 004, Patient 005 and Patient 007. Please get ready in your room until the guards come and bring you guys into your new room. " the announcement echoed through the room.

Jimin, Jungkook and Hoseok are going to a different hallway that the others while the guards are at both sides, infront and behind them.

The leader of the guards pressed down the passcode and they entered the room.

Holy shit. Is this a real room? They thought.

It looked so different. Then, they sees another two people.

" Patient 002 and Patient 003. These are your new roommates. " the guard said.

But, both of them stay quiet until the guards are gone. Jimin tried to be friendly because that is his natural behaviour.

" Urm... Hi? " Jimin said.

Patient 003 glared at Jimin making him taken aback.

" Okay... I will not disturb you then... " Jimin murmured but it is enough for that guy to hear him.

Jimin looked at Patient 002. He seems nicer. Jimin thought.

" Hello? " Jimin said.

Patient 002 looked at Jimin with a wide eyes.

" Are you okay? Urm... What's your name? " Jimin asked carefully.

Patient 002 still looked at him with a wide eyes making him feeling uncomfortable. Jimin decided to leave that strange guy and sit between Jungkook and Hoseok at the corner of the room.

" Whew... It's harder to comunicate with them... " Jimin whispered to both of them.

Jungkook and Hoseok nodded approvingly. They looked so weird. Like they had been programmed to do so.

" It's okay. Maybe they are having difficult times to interact with someone. Besides, we don't even know our real behaviours yet. They just urm... Be on guard with strangers, I think? " Jungkook said.

Jimin and Hoseok nodded understanding.

" Let's call it a day. I am tired. " Hoseok said and stretch his body.

Jungkook and Jimin does the same and they went to each other bed. Sleeping is the best thing you can do after using your brain to think of something unimaginable.

Meanwhile, in room Patient 001.

" You fucking bastard! Let me go! " he shouted loudly.

" Keep screaming. No one will be able to help you. Your friends? Did they remember you? As if... " a man in a lab coat said with a sinister smile plastered on his face.

Patient 001 tried to release himself from the metal chain eventhough he know that it's useless to do so. But, he need to try!

" You are different. Really different from the others. From your friends. You recovered quickly and those freaking memories came to you like a flooding waterfall. How the hell does that happen, huh? "

Patient 001 remain silent.

" I will ask you this question for like... 20 time now? Take this offer... Be the spy for me to look at how your friends progress are getting well or not. Give me a report everyday. For the bonus, I will not clear your memory again and again. But... if you refuse... Your friends are dead. " he smirked.

Patient 001 shocked. He looked at the man with a wide and terror in his eyes.

" So... What is your choice, Namjoon? "
