“Pick that rubble up hurry the hell up some people have family’s to go home to” a man in the construction zone ordered as he sat on a cooler eating his sandwich. Michael walked over as his hands was tucked into his lab coat. He didn’t mean to wear it here but whatever.

“What do we got?” Michael asked as he played with his dark hair. He slicked it back before the man on the cooler shrugged as he scarfed down the remaining crust of the sandwich.

“They say they found a bracelet. I said throw it away we are looking for treasure you know?” He chuckled taking a drag off his cigarette. “But then they rambled on about how different it looked and felt. So they are taking it for further investigation. If you ask me your corporation isn’t nothing but a sneaky rat. Staying to them selves but demanding us to do things without any insights.

Michael kept his gaze outward at the workers as he readjusted his collar “last time I checked you all just do digging and finding. Didn’t know we owed you more than just simple explanations. So get off your ass and actually do something or I’ll make sure my boss has it to where even fast food will think twice before hiring you” his threat hung heavy as the construction leader rose up before he sealed his lips. He grabbed his hammer before walking away as Michael smiled “I love it when people listen. Makes my life a little…..easier” he adjusted his goggles as he walked over to the other scientist. “So from our bottom feeder over there I heard we found some type of bracelet? What value does it have?” Michael peeped over as Rebecca turned around her smile wider than anything imaginable.

“There’s strange energy in this bracelet, we took tests on it cause it had strange symbols which peaked my interest” she scrambled over to their portable testing area as she turned the monitor to the side as Michael strolled in. His eyes reading the analyzer as his brown eyes narrowed “it’s crazy right? We’ve seen alien type of shit but this. This isn’t like that, it’s almost like…..divine” she twirled around in the chair as Michael grabbed her chair chuckling as he rubbed his brown hair.

“Becca. Gods don’t exist, stay focused. but this strange energy does peak my interest, mind if I take it back home later?” Michael turned his back as he slipped on gloves as Rebecca nodded “I just wanna run through things since I got most of the tech from around the world and….above” he chuckled gently grabbing the bracelet as he laid it in the bag.

The bracelet was a heavy golden and diamond bracelet as it had symbols made of unusual gems. Michael zipped the bag before walking to his car as he sighed rubbing through his hair “damn a magic bracelet. Things we are finding are becoming weirder and weirder. Maybe it’s a communication device sent from another world. How THEY kept in contact” he pondered Over it. His eyes laid resting on the bracelet as it seemed beautiful in the night “I’ll run it when I get back home” he shut his car door as he headed back to the sight to finish the process of the area.

The lights shut off as the digging was over. Michael slipped into his car shutting the door as he laid his head on the wheel. Family….he needed to make time for family. “Horlo….” He lightly spoke looking at his 7 year old son. His smile forming as he put the picture away “time to go” he chirped as he shifted the car into gear and sped off, leaving dust kicking up as his tail lights

The angels above watched as they nodded to each other. “Let him take it to the chosen one….arkam needs to be reborn, we need our savior.”
