The car zoomed past the eerie trees as we headed for the famous Bordillion Academy college, Xiaomi, country X. I never thought that leaving home to the actual school is a good idea but my sister, Sophia thinks it is.

"Look Mia we are almost there" she said happily.

"I know, just let me be, Gosh!" I said annoyed. Sophia is the most annoying twin I've ever seen, but I still love her. Our car rode past the massive signboard which read "Bordillion Academy college" and I knew once there was no going back. The driver stopped us in front of the big door. We came back meeting two women smiling at us.

"Hello Mia and Sophia welcome to our school" the woman on glasses said

"Are the principal auntie?" Sophia asked bubbly. I wished I could smack my face.

"Yes darling I am the principal, Mrs Steven.... How's your Father" she asked

"He's very good Mrs Steven" Sophia replied

"well this is Mrs Jones, and she will be assigning you both to your rooms and classes" she said introducing the odd looking woman beside her

"Hello girls you can now follow me" she smiled showing are scattered teeth. I always knew coming to this school was awful mistake. Students on checked emerald green and black colored uniforms kept looking at us occasionally as we walked with Mrs Jones. We reached a hallway and walked down to the girls hostel.

"meet Zoe and Sally your roommates" she introduced as two girls walked up to us.

"Hi I'm Zoe I'll be your roommate Sophie" she smiled stretching out her hand

"Her name is Sophia not Sophie if you don't mind" I said already annoyed by the girl.

"Is okay Mia, hi Zoe can't believe you are my roommate" Sophia gushed, and I rolled my eye.

"Okay girls I'll leave you all to catch up, these are your respective classes. See you girls later" Mrs Jones handed us a paper each and left.

"I can help you and unpack Mia" Sally said as I was unpacking

"Uhm thanks, I don't need your help, I'm fine"

"Okay, in case you need me I'm just over here" she said, and I nodded. My sister and I hardly associated with people because of our unique backgrounds. My dad is the CEO of the leading company in country Z and always made sure we were both homeschooled not until my grandma opted we leave our comfort zone and come out here to stay with meddling kids. Sophia seems to like the idea, but I won't stop until I figure out a way to escape from this prison.

First day at school and I don't want anything to do with all this meddling kids. I reached my class and pushed the door open.

"SURPRISE HAPPY BIRTHDAY HILARY!!!" The whole shouted as I entered. A boy was standing in front of me with a flower.

"Oh sorry we didn't mean to" he apologized and I just rolled my eyes. I dusted off the confetti that was on my uniform off and walked to an empty seat that my name was on it. Later on a girl with long blonde hair came in and the meddling kids repeated what they did again. The boy was hugging the girl, and the teacher came in.

"Hilary Anderson and Neil Copper to your seats this instance!!" he yelled. Class began.

"So who is the Cruel military president general of Nigeria's as of 1960" Mr Bentley asked peeping through his thick lens.

The class was dead quiet. I swept my eyes through the class and noticed my class was actually dumb.

"Yes you?" Mr Bentley said pointing at me

"President Nnamdi Azikiwe" I said.

"Wow! Correct!.... Are you not a new student?" He asked surprised.

"Yes sir, Mia Vetrov"

"You are smart Miss Vetrov, I'll be holding a quiz next week so you kids better buckle up" He said angrily, and he left. The bell rang afterwards.

"Gosh another quiz, I'm so tired of intercontinental history" a freckled boy yelled

"I'm so tired of this class to" a girl with a very short girl supported.

"Guys you all know is because of this new girl acting all smartypants" the birthday girl glared at me.

"It's not my fault you are dumb miss" I short back smirking.

"Can you imagine such guts" she gasped, and I brought my Bio note nonchalantly.

"Hilary just leave her, is okay" her boyfriend said and she angrily sat down.

I can feel eyes glaring at me now and then, but that is the least I care now. Let me focus on drawing an escape plan to leave this Godforsaken school. The lessons ended and everyone started packing up their things.

"Hi I'm Neil" the annoying boyfriend smiled at me

"I already know your name" I said glaring at him

"Oh, uhm I'm sorry for the way Hilary treated you" he said

"You apologize way too much, excuse me" I walked past him to the door

"Can we be friends?" he yelled after him and I ignored him completely heading to the hallways.

"Miaaaaa!" Sophia waved smiling, I smacked my face for real.

"As I always say you will get a headache for always snacking your forehead Mia dear" She smiled pulling me to hold my arm.

"Sophia for God's sake can you just stop annoying me and act like you don't know me" I asked tired

"Well never, I was born to annoy you, and we are twins people are bound to know" she said gleefully and pulled me towards the dining area.

"I want us to escape from this hell Sophia" I told her as a matter of fact

"And there you come again, Mia this school is great, and I made many friends today so is a sign we will enjoy it here trust me" she smiled, and I'm sure it reached her ears.

"Hey Sophia over here" a boy waved at Sophia as we took our food trays

"Mark!, Mia come on" she said, and I found myself being dragged to a table filled with meddlesome kids. Just wanted to have a quiet lunch and Sophia made sure she will complete my day with her annoyance.

"Who's she, you two look alike" A girl with glasses asked

"Stacy this is my twin sister, Mia, don't we look alike" she smiled hugging my arm and I rolled my eyes

"Yea you guys do, the siren eyes gave it away" a boy said

"What class are you Mia?" a weird looking girl asked

"I don't think that concerns you..."

"What she meant is she is in Ruby" Sophia cut me half way laughing awkwardly.

"Ruby? Wow.... Mia did you witness the birthday surprise?"the first girl asked, and the other girls asked me looking dreamy.

"Yes" I said irritated

"Neil is an ideal boyfriend just that Hilary is a bitch so full of herself tsk" a girl with bangs said and all the girls replied yeah

"What do you mean ideal I'm also an awesome boyfriend right Stacy?" A boy asked

"Will you buy a car for me as a birthday gift?" the Stacy girl asked

"Uhm, no but..." he mumbled and everyone began laughing. I just ate little I left out of annoyance. I refreshed and headed for a compulsory curriculum. Everyone was to choose a sport and I chose horse riding.

"I'm here to register for horse riding sir" I said to the coach

"Are you sure you are at the right office, this is horse riding girl" The coach said smiling

"I very much aware of that and I want to sign up" I said annoyed at his smiling, how can one smile in a serious situation.

"Okay if you say so, I want to see you ride" he said sternly and that's what I like.

"Well you will have to get your best rider to compete with me, please show me the stables" I said proudly. I started horse riding right from when I was younger, so I won't brag I'm kinda of pro.

They showed me the stables and a jet black horse caught my eyes. I picked it and headed to the racing tracks. I met a very annoying familiar figure.

"Hey Mia" He smiled

"Miss Vetrov you will be racing with Neil wish you luck" the coach said and I smirked cause I don't need luck.

"On your marks, GO!!" the coach yelled, and I found myself racing with Neil. We were racing on same pace then he zoomed past me. I smirked and saddled my horse the next thing I crossed the finish line before Neil.

Everyone yelled wow!, cool!, Amazing! And I felt so proud of myself.

"That was amazing miss Vetrov, you are in the team" the coach smiled and left.

"Wow, you will be the first girl to join our team uhm senior...?" a junior asked

"Mia." I replied

"Well Mia welcome to the team, I'm jack the captain" a nice looking boy said

"Okay, thanks" I said and took my horse back to the stable.

"I'll name you Clover" I said as I stroked his head

"You were great back there" an annoying familiar voice said.

"I know, excuse me" I said nonchalantly and left, and he reached his hands to pull me back.

"Are you out of your mind? Don't you dare this ever" I said sternly and left angrily. What insolence to try to pull me back as if I was one of those girls.

"Hey Mia" Sally said as I entered the room.

"Hey"

"I'm going over to my friend's room I'll be back later" she said shoving her phone into her purse.

"No problem" I assured and she left. Finally, peace and quiet. I did my assignments and read some books before I knew it, it was time for dinner.

"Heyyy Mia, I'm here to pick you up for dinner" Sophia said barging into my room

"Can't you knock Sophia" I looked up lazily from my phone

"Uhm no, Zoe and I are you to pick you, so chop chop let's go Mia" She pulled me up.

"If it's that annoying table we are sitting on count me out" I said pulling my arm back.

"It was so fun Mia..." I shot her a very hot glare

"Sorry Mia, try to loosen up to people that's how you will enjoy this school. We are sitting just the three of us" She said looking at me wryly

"Since that's the case let's get going" I said and left. We got our food and sat down at on empty table.

"You two are completely opposite" Zoe said Pushing up her glasses.

"That's why we are twins" Sophia gushed

"Tell me more about the school Zoe" I said

"The school, seems like you want to get use to it" Sophia said, and I glared at her

"Bordillion is great, but there is only one problem. Students are being killed every semester. I don't know why but the killing is made to seem like suicide" Zoe said worried

"Zoe is joking how can students be killed pft" Sophia laughed

"I'm being serious Sophia, Sally, Mia's roommate old roommate was killed that's how Mia got the space because Sally is a grade higher than us" Zoe said

"Wow, so you are serious" I smiled

"Mia why on earth are you smiling, let's go with your plan and escape, I don't want to die" Sophia pulled my arm

"Oh no Sophia… We are not leaving the school because it's gonna be fun" I grinned.

"Fun?!.... We are going to be killed Mia" she panicked

"Please Zoe what is the cause of the suicide" I smiled at her

"Uhm, according to stories the students are possessed then they commit suicide"

"Interesting .... Sophia no escaping is against school rules we are staying dear sister, goodnight" I patted her hand happily and left. I always felt that there was something strange about this school and my suspicions were right.

I got to my room and brought out a book given be me by my grandma though Sophia also has it. YEONGHON-UI YEOKSA was boldly written on it meaning HISTORY OF SPIRITS. I flipped through the pages and my eyes landed on a sub topic.

"Ahriman" I said to myself and read through the pages.
