They were born enemies. But no one knows why. Not even themselves. They were just born like that as tae implies.

Jungkook and Namjoon were in same college. This irritates tae; because jeon would visit thier home every fucking day. Jungkook as generous as he is; always picks up namjoon on his way to college. Tae doesn't know why his brother aka joon has to make jeon his best friend out of all people in the world. Why him?

More to his irritation; they happened to share the neighborhood. So one way or another; taekook would run into eo literally everyday. And they never forget to fight whenever that happens.

Even though tae and jungkook are the same age; he's thankful that jungkook got into school early and was also studying in a different college than he is.

That was the only time he was not irritated. He didn't have to see jeon during college time.

Tae was having his morning tea when jungkook just barged into thier apartment. Ofc he knows the password. He's been visiting since forever.

"Don't you know how to knock loser?" Tae spitted.

"You don't own this apartment. It's my best friend's. So stfu. "  Jk replied with the same tone.

" Your best friend is my brother. So YOU STFU. And have some manners. "

"Did y'all start again?" Joon asks hurrying from his room to eat breakfast.

They both tsked and glared at joon. So he shut his mouth.

"Did you have breakfast kook?" Joon asks.

" No I didnt. I can eat from here." Jungkook walks towards the dining.

"There's no food here for losers ...like you" tae fights. And jungkook stops in his way to sit by the dining table.

"Taehyung... Wtf." Joon was angry this time.

"What? Why? Why does he have to eat from here. Can't he eat from his house? It's not like we provide food for poor" tae wasn't thinking when he said that. He wasn't clearly on his right mind. He just wanted to win that fight. Nothing else was going through his mind.

"TAEHYUNG" joon shouted.

This is when he realised. He realised what the hell he was spurting out. He didn't mean it like that. Really. He never meant anything he says. He just always blabber out his thoughts to jungkook. He never think about what he says to jungkook. It has always been like that. But this time when he looks at jungkook; he sees that hurting face. He just wanted to fight like always. Not hurt him.

Jungkook just stared between joon and tae and bolted out of the apartment muttering a sorry to taehyung.

Shit.

Namjoon didn't toutch his breakfast and didn't waste a single second to run after his best friend.

What did he do?

Tae knows what he did was wrong and it hurt jungkook. But taehyung didn't have it in him to apologise to jungkook. Cmon.. apologize to his enemy? To jeon? No fucking way.

"Im sorry kook he's such an asshole. Idk why he is like that to you" joon says.

"It's okay hyung. Idk that either. Idek why we are enemies... Idek why he hates me so much" jungkook sighs.

"Jungkook maybe you should stop and move on. It's been years. I don't think he'll ever like you back" joon says seeing his best friend getting hurt everytime because of his asshole brother.

"Ik it hyung. Ik he'll never be mine. Don't worry. I'll move on. It's hard cuz he's my first love yk. I've never thought of anyone else like that. Never felt about anyone like this. It has always been him. So it's a little hard but I'll still try. " Kook smiles. A forced one.

"Maybe try dating" joon suggests.

"Yeah ... Maybe. I'll try"

Time skip to evening>

It was time for namkook to be back and have a snack together. But tae didn't see the person he was waiting for.. wait no. He wasn't waiting for anyone..tsk.

Namjoon came alone.

"where is he?" tae asked

"since when do you care" joon replied uninterested.

"why didn't he get in? Ik he dropped you!"

"maybe cuz my brother was being an asshole to my bestfriend and asked him to eat at his home. So he'll be eating from his home." joon replied.

oH. Shit.

Tae felt like his heart will break into pieces. He hates him. But that doesn't give him the right to hurt a human being. Tae knows.

Above all jungkook is just a person.A human. He has feelings. He shouldn't care tbh..they're enemies. But being so kind he does care. After all they are enemies.

Tae can never be unkind even to his ENEMIES.

Tae and joon was having breakfast together. And joon recieved a call from jungkook.

'hey you're here?'

'okay I'll come down quickly'

Tae understood kook was here and he finished his food fast and went downstairs.

He saw jungkook waiting in his car.

He mustered up the courage to knock on the glass.

Kook gave him a long stare before lowering the glass.

'what?' kook asked.

'uh...umm.. get out' tae said looking anywhere but his face.

'what?This is my car. Im nowhere near your family's property.' he said annoyingly.

' stop being a loser and get out. I...I have to give you something' tae said.

'i dont want shit from you taehyung. Fuck off' jk replied.

That annoyed tae and he put his hand inside the car thru the window and opened the door.

He grabbed jk's arms and dragged him out of his car.

'wtf u doing' jk asked angrily.

'just stfu u loser'

And tae dragged jk all the way to his apartment and made him sit on the dining table.

Joon was still eating. Although he said he'll come fast he's a slow af eater. And he was watching the drama unfolding infront of him. He loved watching them fight sometimes; When taehyung isn't being an asshole. It was fun to watch his bestie's face  when they fight. Bro be falling in love cuz his crush calls him 'stupid' 'fuckface' 'idiot' and so many other /pet/ names. 'Loser' is kook's favourite. Kook says that tae never called anyone; no one else loser. The name was reserved for jungkook. Joon loved watching his bff being delulu.

Kook was just sitting there not understanding whats happening and suddenly tae came back with a bowl of jajjangmyoen. His favourite. It's kook's favourite. Jungkook's heart skipped a beat when he realised that tae knows his favourite food.

'eat.. you loser' tae said.

Kook just stared at the food and back at tae.

'but why-' jk started

'just stfu..you are annoying. Just eat.'

Joon stole a spoonful from jungkook's food even before jk himself tasted it and joon loved it.

'tae where did u order this from' joon asked. First thing they talked after their fight.

Tae who was searching something in the fridge closed it and ..

'i.. i. Its.. i made it' he says kinda embarrassed.

Butterflies erupted in jungkook's tummies. Wow. This is first time tae cooked something for him. He was already on high thinking about how tae knows his favourite... Now on top it... HE MADE IT? Tae made jungkook's favourite food? For him? Jungkook doesn't know what's happening today. Maybe the gods heard his prayers? And is blessing him with all the luck? Wtv it is. He loved this.

'there was ramyoen jimin brought. And i wanted to eat it' tae replied fast.

Just like that the hope died in kooks heart. Tae just saved a part of food he made for himself. It's was just that. But STILL HE SAVED SOME FOR JUNGKOOK? Jungkook's heart was going to beat out of his chest.

Joon know tae didn't eat jajjangmyoen yesterday night or today. But he decided to keep it quiet since tae was denying it. Hell yoonmin never visited them with snacks. Jimin brought ramyeon? My foot. They came here to eat.

It was always jin or hoseok who brings something when they comes for sleep over and all. But they haven't been here for long cuz they are busy with thier exams going on. Joon understood what was going on.

Tae went out and bought things and made jungkook his favourite food. Okay? He thought they were enemies? Joon realised that there is maybe ...still a chance for jungkook. But anyways he kept quiet. Because he didn't wanted to be the one to give jungkook false hope.

Tae came to dining table where kook is eating with small bites; hesitatingly and tae placed two bottles of banana milk beside him before taking his bag from the couch and leaving for college.

Kook and joon just stared at the bottles in suprise and Wtf? Tae had noticed jungkook having banana milk too? Damn. And he bought it for jungkook? Really?

Tae held the door knob and he turned back to kook..before leaving.

'no one stops from eating at his bff's just cuz his brother was being an asshole... Coward. Grow up and ask that brother to fuck off'

And with that he left.

"fvck. I dont think I'll ever move on" jk said holding his chest tightly or it may explode.

'stfu...dont get your hopes up' joon warned.
