“OH MY, MITSURI-san! Fancy meeting you here. Are you all alone?” Shinobu, a close friend of mine, asked while approaching me. She's wearing her usual attractive smile. She's like a goddess, and the most gorgeous human being.
I've realized that I'm staring too much on her face so I immediately look somewhere. "N-no, Shinobu-san. I'm with Iguro-kun, he suddenly vanished out of nowhere, leaving me alone here." I awkwardly answered back, still not looking at her because of embarrassment.
"Oh my, that guy is really dumb to leave you here alone. If something happens to you, I'm gonna kill him! I swear! Even if he's your boyfriend." Shinobu-san moved a bit to see my face. She sounded sincere, which made my heart flutters a bit.
“But Shinobu-san, he's not my boyfriend.” I embarrassingly denied, looking away again because her glares are killing me.
“Oh, really?” she teased more.
“Shi-Shinobu-san, aren't you with Giyuu-kun?” I changed the subject and finally looked at her. Even her confused expression is beautiful. I guess she's the definition of beauty.
“Ah, no. That loner guy, I don't even know where is he.” Shinobu's confused expression suddenly turned to a teasing expression.
Perhaps, she really loves Giyuu-kun, she just loves teasing him and seeing his annoyed expression.
“So, Iguro-kun is not your boyfriend?” she returned that topic again.
“Of course not!” I immediately denied. Iguro-kun is a cool and a good guy, but I don't like him that way.
Shinobu-san last question made me dumb for a little while. I cannot answer, I'm speechless. Is this another joke? But she sounded very sincere and serious. Perhaps, a prank? My heart started beating crazily after seeing her genuine smile.
“Oh my, that's fortunate. How about dating me instead?"
