Throughout my entire life, I have dedicated my whole self in learning medicine and curing people who are on the verge of death. I knew that I wanted to be a doctor when I saw someone at the hospital praising and thanking a doctor for saving her husband. The moment I saw that, I too wanted to feel what feels like to save others and be praised for it.

I studied so hard that people began calling me a genius for attaining my doctor’s license when I was just twenty-four years old. I then secluded myself for four years, researching for the cure to cancer and was successful.

Because of that achievement. Many of my fellow doctors started to hate me and send me threats. Saying that they will kill me. At first I felt scared but eventually that feeling faded away as time passed by.

When I was at the age of thirty years old, I accidentally developed a pill that can prolong one’s life. But that pill needs more research to really maximize its effect.

The only person I told about the pill was a trusted friend. It took us three years to fully create the life prolonging pill. When we were about to tell the world about our progress, we were struck by lighting.

Fortunately we both survived. My friend fully recovered but I was bedridden for the last six months and I felt that my life is about to hit its dead end. But before I wanted to leave the world, I wanted to see my beloved friend reveal the pill to the universe and be known to be the one of the two individuals who created the pill. I know that by doing that my life on earth will be meaningful.

However, my friend refused and said that we should do it together. Because of that I cried my heart out and told her the truth about my current condition. I asked her to fly back to where I am currently confined to bid her my farewell.

We were talking with each other when I suddenly felt a burn in my chest. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath to let out a sigh. But when I opened my eyes all I saw was darkness. I called out for my friend, but no one answered my call. I shouted for the longest time, that my voice was about to fade away.

A sudden wave of air cleared out the trees and I saw the night sky full with bright stars. I was so shocked that I didn’t know what I should do during that time.

When I looked into my hands, I saw a piece of paper. That paper was actually a letter. A letter from the heavenly emperor himself. Alongside the letter was a ring. I was really confused at that time so I tried to read the letter. Yet, it was so dark. However, the ring that was with the letter began to light up that enabled me to read the full texts. On the paper was written;

“Blessed Kun Chen Xie,

I am very sorry for my mistake about striking you with my lighting. That was meant for your friend who tried to frame you and cause you trouble. To tell you the truth. I was always looking out for you the moment you saved my beloved son. He was your first patient.

It was my son you begged for your friend to be struck by my lighting but unfortunately you were the one to die and she was the one to live. To compensate you for that mistake, I asked Yama to let you be reincarnated to this world where cultivation exists.

Alongside this letter is a ring. It is a spatial ring. By adding your blood onto it, it will recognize you as its owner. Inside the spatial ring are a few herbs that will help you start your life in this new world. Knowing your great knowledge about medicine, I also asked Yama not to take your memories, but in return no one must know you are not originally from this world.

Lastly, when you reach the Nascent Soul Level. You will be able to command the heavens. By adding the phrase “Heavens hear my command” the heavens will execute your command.

Kun Chen Xie opened her eyes and saw nothing but darkness. She screamed to inquire if there’s anybody near her but no one answered.

A sudden wave of air cleared out the trees and enabled her to see the night sky. She looked around her and found herself in the middle of a forest at midnight.

She wandered through her body and saw that on one of her hands were a piece of paper. The piece of paper was actually a letter from the heavenly emperor.

She read through the letter and was confused.

“What?! I travelled to another world?”. She spoke in shock.

She couldn’t believe what was written on the letter. She paused for a few minutes to collect her thoughts. She then looked at the ring on her hand, bit her finger and added her blood to the ring.

The ring glowed and she was sucked inside of it. On the inside of the ring was a vast place. There were fields full of different herbs and there was even a haunt.

She walked towards the haunt but was greeted by a beast. The Silver Flame Phoenix.

“Greeting to master”. The beast flew towards her and shifted itself to a little boy.

“Waaa… What are you?!”. Kun Chen Xie scaredly asked the little boy.

The two of them talked. The little boy explained to Kun Chen Xie what’s happening and the things she needs to know about the world she’s into.

“So you’re saying that you are the silver flame phoenix, one on the most powerful mythical beasts in this world. You were given to me by the heavenly emperor to protect me”.

“That this world contains different beings. The Gods, Humans, Beasts, Ghost, and Demon. There are many kinds of professions, but the most respected are Alchemists who can make pills with various effects”.

“You said that I was created by the blood of the heavenly emperor and respected by the heavens. The heaven commanding technique that was given by the emperor can only be used to both humans and beasts”

“You also said that people in this world also go to school as they need an education badge to set up their businesses and everything related to the adult world”.

“Well, in that case i shall go to school”. Kun Chen Xie spoke in excitement as she wanted to learn more about the world she’s in.

“Yes yes master. That’s a very good idea. But, what will you like to learn? Every department needs three years to complete, except the alchemist division where one can only graduate if he or she is able to make her original pill. So students in that department focus on research” The little boy replied.

“Then alchemy it is… I already know what to create. HA HA HA. I truly am blessed”. Kun Chen Xie laughed.

Kun Chen Xie noticed that she was calling the beast little boy these whole time so she asked him what his name was. The little boy replied that he once has a name but because of being asleep for so long, he forgot what it is. Hence, he asked Kun Chen Xie to give him a new name.

Kun Chen Xie named the beast “Nix”

“Your name shall be Nix. short for Phoenix”. Kun Chen Xie told the little boy.

“I love it master. henceforth I shall be called Nix. The contracted beast of the blessed Kun Chen Xie”. Nix spoke in a pleased tone.

The next day.

Day Time

Outside the ring

Kun Chen Xie was walking alone in the forest trying to find her way to the city. Nix was not able to come out of the spatial ring as it can only go out when Kun Chen Xie reaches the Golden Core Level. But she’s only in the early stage of Qi Condensation.

While walking on the way to the city, she smelt a faint scent of blood. Her doctor’s instinct arose and she quickly ran to where the scent was coming from.

On the ground she saw a young man covered with blood. She first surveys the surroundings if there is anybody there with the young man. When she saw that he was alone, she came near him and took a look at the young man on the ground.

The young man was unconscious but thankfully he was still breathing. He has a wound on his chest that looks like a scratch by a beast.

“Master... This young lass seems dangerous. I think this young man was hunting the most powerful beast here. The sky eater python. He seems poisoned by it”. Nix spoke through the mind of Kun Chen Xie.

“Urghhh”. Kun Chen Xie shouted.

“Master… Master. The young lass is the master of the Golden Flame Phoenix. The Golden flames phoenix is taking your spiritual energy to cure his master. Master you need to run”. Nix warned Kun Chen Xie.

Kun Chen Xie didn’t give it a lot of thought and just followed what Nix has said. She ran and ran that she eventually arrived at the city near the forest the Blue Sky City.

Blue Sky City

When Kun Chen Xie arrived at the Blue Sky City, many people were looking at her as she looked like a beggar. One the person actually told her to leave.

Kun Chen Xie walked on the streets of the city. She passed many kinds of stores.

“Master. What are you looking for?” Nix asked.

“I'm looking for a place to earn money as I don’t have some. I am thinking of selling some herbs”. She replied.

“You’re a genius master. With all the herbs you have, you’ll make a fortune”. Nix said.

After a few hours of walking Kun Chen Xie finally found a place to sell her herbs.

“Hello, how may I help you?”. The person on the counter asked her.

“Oh hello… I’m here to sell some herbs”. She replied.

“What grade of herbs would you like to sell?”. The person on the counter inquired.

“Oh yes master. I forgot to tell you that herbs have different levels. From first grade to fifth grade. What you have are fifth grade level herbs. Actually if you buy some herbs and store it in the ring, after a couple of days that herb will be fifth grade level”. Nix told her.

“Fifth grade herbs”. Kun Chen Xie told the person on the counter.

“Fif-- fifth grade you say?”. The person asked in disbelief.

“Yes. here… twenty pieces of fifth grade triple purple leaves, twenty pieces of yin yang flower, and five pieces of thousand years old ginseng”. Kun Chen Xie handed the herbs to the person on the counter.

“Waa--- wait a second miss I shall call our head”.

After a while, the person who was on the counter came back with an old man.
