Finding Solace-

Dearest Ren,

 I am Luka, your buddy. Today is my birthday and everyone would have cake, gifts, blowing candles, spending time with family and friends, going out but, mine was different as I had only one soulmate, buddy and all which was me but now, I got you

I was walking around town at night time. It was eery and silent and I could hear foxes howling from the forest nearby and all the stray dogs barking as I went near them as they knew that i came with their food for them. The night was dark and empty without any companion just like me but still shows put every day without no reason and no meaning like my life.

As he connected his life with the beauty of the night and questioned himself, trying to find solace, peace and harmony, he spotted some stars.

At least, the night has some stars to accompany him, providing light but, mine is completely empty and dark.

"Good morning students, Ready for the first day of school? I hope that everyone is getting ready for school. The early breakfast of bacon and eggs, ironing of uniform, and most importantly, don't forget your books and ID also neat grooming is mandatory.

Many will have high expectations of making new friends and meeting their old friends, going out with them at break and recess and meeting our favourite teachers. Don't worry new folks, you all will also have a good day, this will be a good opportunity for ya'll to make new friends, relationships, find and shine with your talent.

As the students graduate to higher grades, more pressure begins to pile up due to portions but, chill it's the first day. Hope you all have a good first day of school students!"

It was Luka's second year of high school also referred to as 'The Sophomore Year'. He was ready for the day in his uniform, but his thoughts went numb and grim.

Dearest Ren,

Today is my first day of school, the sophomore year. Things will not be the same without you. I miss our trio and most importantly, Kavin. The radio reckoned that the new kids will have an amazing day and to see this new school as an opportunity to make new friends and to be happy and to find and shine with talents but, I am only going to focus on studies and keep away from the thought of friends because, they brought me more sorrow and pain which overtook all the happiness of my life, you would know better about it right??
