Long, Long ago...in the land of Mysteria...a place that was, and is still a massive world, full of magic, beauty, and wonder...created by a species known as...The Divine. These special beings had come from a world, not their own, and used they're ancestral magic to create the world of Mysteria, and all the animals, and humans that would live in it...however to make sure that things didn't go terribly wrong with the gifts of magic they provided for the world. The Divine created the 5 Gods of the Land.
The first God was Hraesvelgr...the massive 6 winged albino bird, with twin golden horns atop it's head, who summoned monstrous storms, and flew at speeds impossible for any other bird to keep up with. He was known as "The Bird God"...or more known as..."The Master of the Skies". The Second God...was Eikthyrnir...a beautiful cyan, green-color mixed reindeer with beautifully designed antlers that sometimes grew a special blue powerful magic of fruit. Eikthyrnir was mostly a peaceful God, and rarely ever defended itself, and was known as "The Great Spirit". Eikthyrnir guarded over the souls of the afterlife.
The third God...or rather Gods, we're Skoll, and Hati...both who guarded over the Sun, and Moon for many generations. They were both mates, been mates for centuries. Hati being known as "Mother Night" for it was her kindness that often shown from her beautiful starry, bluish purple wolf body during the night she commanded. Skoll was known as "Father Sun", for his presence was always dominant during the day when his albino form with Gold metals that were all across his body. They were also both known as "The Wolf Gods".
The Fourth God was Nidhoggr a giant black dragon with golden spikes, and could extend his body to incredible lengths, each part of him as a weapon. He guarded over the Underworld, and often imprisoned, and punished the souls of the dammed. He was known as "The Ruler of the Nether" or also more known as "The Dragon God". The Final God was Ratatoskor...a giant squirrel who often created, and generated magic over the land for everyone to use. He was known as "The Wise One". With their creations complete...The Divine watched, as their creations grew, to govern Mysteria, and for a while...everything was perfect.
However...it all went wrong, as for reasons unknown...The Divine...vanished, leaving their creations forever cut-off from any contact with them, and left the world to be governed by them, leaving them behind. For the most part, all the Gods did their best to continue their lives to govern over humanity, and even creating new species. However, the Dragon God become angry, and felt abandoned after they had gone, and he chose to try, and be the only God to exist. He fought the other Gods in a fierce battle, forcing them to fight back.
The first God to fall was Eikthyrnir, and when that one fell, the world of Mysteria was soon filled with monsters, tied with the lost souls of the dead which caused Monster Hunting Guilds to be born, and humanity continued to survive. All the other Gods, sealed themselves away, not wanting to risk their lives against the Dragon God's power...except for two. Skoll, and Hati chose to face the Dragon God, using their powers of Sun, and Moon to their advantage. They battled the Dragon God, Nidhoggr...who could not defeat them with their amazing power.
Skoll, and Hati soon reached a decision...in order for them to be able to stop Nidhoggr's rampage...the two chose to create a project...known as The Bloodline. The child they conceived...was a male, and they gave him the ability to shape-shift...as well as the Power of the Moon. They're son...named Zenaku would soon live his own life in Mysteria. Skoll had told his lover that someday, he would need a mate, and made an entire race of Neko Wolf being's...to them, he divided the Sun among the race he created, and said. "One Day, one of them will rise, and become the Sun, and mate...to our Moon" He told his wife.
"Whatever journey lies in store for my little Moon, I hope it's a good one" She smiled to him. After imparting the wisdom, and gifts of their powers, Skoll, and Hati then used their bodies to sacrifice themselves to curse Nidhoggr to walk Mysteria forever, all while making sure that the Sun, and Moon still had a beautiful orbit. Trained, and raised by a Master Skoll, and Hati recruited...Zenaku one day decided to challenge The Dragon God into a duel, the battle itself was fierce, and despite his power of the Moon, Zenaku lost even when being so close to beating Nidhoggr who sealed him away, in a place that no one could find him.
And this...is where our story, truly begins.

...Moon...
......Chapter 1: Awakening ......
Zenaku knew this was a dream, or rather a state of consciousness. In this dream there is nothing, but the darkness. To him the darkness is safe, and a place for him to think. He did not know how long the darkness had been around him, but soon...peering from above, a beautiful heartwarming light beckons him to the real world, and he reaches out to touch it.
Moon felt his glowing yellow eyes pop open, seeing the magical coffin that has been used to seal him away, he could feel the lid moving, and the green smoke, and moonlit vapor begin to pour out. Finally...he was free, and the power of the Moon greeted him. Zenaku leapt high into the sky, his instincts sharp. The coffin lid moving meant one thing...the spell didn't fail, someone had released him, and he would find out why. He landed in a tree branch high above where he was sealed. He was a Neko man, who was 28 years old with blue, and black spiky hair, a very dark almost back pants, and his crescent moon shaped sword in its sheath. His fingernails were sharp claws, his blue, and black wolf tail just above his rear, and finally his teeth were normal, but with two large fangs bearing out.
Despite all of that, the night was on his side, and it made him extremely stealthy, even when landing on dead, or tree branches that would make a crack...his power from the Moon gave him absolutely dead silence. Courtesy of being the son of Hati. Zenaku looked down, at the ones who set him free, and already...he didn't like what he saw. 5 people, all men were standing around the pale white coffin with Moon markings that had him sealed away. All of them were dressed in dark brown robes that went all the way down to their feet. Some had a combination of staff's, and knives, yet not including the blades...one thing heavily stood out.
All the men wore a deer skull with giant antlers, and long flaring nostrils...they're staffs having the same skull matching the ones they wore. Already, Moon knew exactly who they were Cultists, foolish followers of the Dragon God who thought they could tame his power...something he so heavily despised. Moon needed to check something, from where he was sealed away, and in order to do that...he had to get rid of the intruders. The cultists seemed confused...it was very clear they had no idea what they released, so Moon smirked.
"Lunar Streak" He whispered, as with super speed he became a purple blur, slashing, and tearing through all five cultists before they even had a chance to react. His claws streaked with human blood, and many of it coating the grass. With the cultists dispatched, Moon turned around, gazing at the coffin he was sealed in, but that was not on his mine, but rather the three coffins sealed around the one he was in. Moon cursed, all of them were empty. Without, Silverstreak, Leatherback, and Hammerhead he couldn't summon his most powerful magic in his arsenal...The Preda-Armor. He now had a new mission, beside getting revenge on Nidhoggr, and that was to find his missing metal comrades, who also formed into his armor.
Moon began jumping along through the trees, as he scanned the forest, trying to see if they were any opponents in the area. He heard the shouts of many of the cultists who had many torches lit in a nearby area. It seemed to be quite the commotion, as a lot of magic, and sword fighting being heard in that direction. Altering his movements, to change direction, his toe claws scratching the tree branch bark, he launched himself forward, becoming a purple blur to investigate the commotion. He soon came near to the cultists, as a feeling of hope, and hatred boiled in his heart. Moon saw a silver, and blue metal wolf...growling, and snarling as it bared its fangs at the cultists, it's red eyes glowing with malice.
He knew the wolf, and was happy to see it...Silverstreak. Out of all the pieces of the Preda-Armor, Silverstreak was the most important piece. Moon's chances of fighting, and survival would increase drastically by having Silverstreak back to its rightful owner. What angered Moon the most, was the fact the cultists were not only trying to hunt it down, but also trying to tame it. Bastards...they dare try to steal a family gift, or heirloom that was given to him from birth...from his Mother Hati? Moon's blood boiled...these Cultists deserve one thing, and one thing only...death. Moon's body glowed with purple, and black energy, as he took out his Crescent Sword. "Crescent Blade" He snarled, hearing the blades edge unlatching, resonating with Lunar energy.
Moon instantly speed blitzed off the trees, as he quickly got in front of Silverstreak. "CRESCENT SLASH!!!!!" He roared, as he launched huge amounts of curved glowing yellow energy, slamming into the cultists, blood gushing, and exploding around the cultists. Seeing the new arrival, the Cultists turned their attention to Moon. Zenaku raised his arms out, as sensing his master's thoughts...Silverstreak transformed into his wolf armor, which equipped on his body, covering him entirely. Moon looked like an anthro silver, and blue metal wolf with Silverstreak covering him. Moon felt his sword disappear, but he was still angry. Without Leatherback, and Hammerhead...he couldn't use the Preda-Armor's full power.
The armor didn't have many weapons. The energy horn could not be deployed, he could not fire the Starburst Energy Cannon, and he definitely could not use the Crescent Energy Boomerang Blade, or the Drill Gator Sword. He couldn't use the armors Lunar magic either. However...it wasn't completely useless. It's energy, and mana was unlimited, while also being its strongest at Night. And he did have one weapon... The Preda-Laser. He could see the many cultists began to look at him, preparing their swords, daggers, and magic. Moon began trying to think things through, gazing at his enemies. He had one weapon...but...he was also wondering whether to use the armor's weapon now, or to fight with just his Crescent Sword.
Moon considered the options, and he went with the best idea, he first activated his armors cloaking device, using his stealth to get himself some distance between him, and the cultists who had surrounded him. He soon vanished into the shadows, leaping onto a near tree. The night was Moon's best weapon it gave him energy, and it was his best stealth option. Now matter what he leapt on, whether on a weak branch, fell, or even yelled it would make no sound...why? It was his mother's magical gift. Moon was truly one with the Night. He dropped the cloaking device, and put away Silverstreak, who became a white Moon crystal stored in his flute which was also a sharpening knife which would store up energy from the magic he had at night.
Moon brought his Crescent Sword, and with an alarming use of a speed blitz, as he came across the first Cultist. The Cultist didn't have time to react, as Moon split him in half with his sword. He then raced to the other, slicing a few more in half. The rest of the cultists managed to raise their staff's as they began chanting their spells. "Shadow Strike" The shouted, as giant circular faced shadows launched at Moon. He instantly unleashed a barrage of Lunar slashes, slicing the shadows, launching back, his toe claws scratching the forest floor, leaving marks.
"So...you do know Underworld magic" Moon snarled.
"Give it up Son of Hati...we know who you are, and what you are capable of, we are going to use your powers to become gods of this world, humans will rule where the gods could not" The leader said, raising his hands.
"Who are you?" Moon asked.
"My name is of no importance...I am Father Bonehead, and we are the Cult of Devils, and we...will rule...this...world" Father Bonehead cackled.
Moon looked at him up, and down, as he smirked at him. "Father Bonehead huh...well...I'll give you credit, your name fits you...your so stupid I could use your bone headed rock head to sharpen my blade"
"Hold your tongue mortal...you'll be dead soon enough" Father Bonehead grinned, raising his staff, and chanting another spell. Moon's toe claws dug into the dirt, as he launched forward with alarming speed, as he threw his sword, beheading three more cultists, before charging at Father Bonehead. "VENOM MIST!!!!!" Father Bonehead shouted, as he spread a huge vapor dark purple cloud around all the area, attempting to add paralysis, as Moon darted back, and growling his fangs bearing, as blood leaked out of his nose. "Ha...see...you can't defeat us, our dark spells can render you POWERLESS!!!!!!" Father Bonehead cackled.
Moon smirked. "Actually...the blood on my nostrils isn't mine" He chuckled, wiping the blood away.
"W-What?" Father Bonehead said confused looking to the side, seeing another one of his cultists dead. "Throat slash...expectedly skilled, but one thing you can't prepare for is our masks...let me show you TRUE POWER!!!!!!" Father Bonehead roared, throwing his staff to the side as he raised his hands. "COME MY BRETHREN…OFFER YOUR SOULS TO YOUR ONE TRUE GOD!!!!!!!!" He roared, his mask beginning to turn black, his body lifting the sky, as it glowed with bright sea green energy, as all of his remaining followers screamed, their souls being extracted, and being sucked into the mask. He roared with power, as he then descended, fully a thundering storm howling overhead his voice distorted. "Bow, before your enemy" He echoed.
Moon looked at Father Bonehead, seeing the change in the mask, as he growled. "Eikthyrnir's magic...in that mask...HOW DARE YOU USE SOMETHING FOR NEFARIOUS PURPOSES!!!!!" Moon snarled, as Father Bonehead looked at him acting as if he wasn't there, the mask now wearing his body as its own. He raised his arms, summoning a huge amount of giant bone teeth, launching them at Moon. (Warped Spirit Magic: Spiral Bone Teeth) Moon managed to dodge the attacks before raising one hand, summoning a scythe launching it at Moon with massive attacks, and adding curved blood slashes (Warped Spirit Magic: Scythe of Bloodied Bone). Moon used his speed to collide sparks with the blood slashes using his own Lunar Crescent Energy slashes from his sword. Then, when it came to the scythe, he managed knocked the spinning weapon into the ground.
Father Bonehead raised his hands one again, as he launched a huge amount of Bone Spikes, as Moon leaped, and raced behind the trees, still facing the cultist before launching himself in the air. "Eikthyrnir's magic was used for peace...to guide the lost souls to a better place, when they were gone...and with Eikthyrnir gone his magic was found by humans...but for you to twist it for you own wicked purposes..." Moon growled, his fists clenching, his two fangs growing, his eyes turning wolf like yet still keeping their original power. "I'll kill you... Bastard" He growled, while in midair, he grabbed his sword, using his fastest speed blitz, slashing Father Bonehead's head off with a massive quick slash. The head flying off, bouncing several times onto the ground, before rolling to a stop, as the headless body collapsed on the ground, dead.
Moon sheathed his sword, as the headless body began shaking, a ghostly groan echoing in the sky, being sucked up into a glowing sea green portal into the sky. "Go rot in hell" He growled, the body disappearing into the portal which soon vanished. He went overlooking down at the mask, as he checked its magic...it still had a portion of Eikthyrnir's magic, he picked it up, and put it into his inventory slots. He pulled up, his Misteria stats, that was given to every adventurer, and Moon as he looked at the mask. It was called "Mask of Krenjeko" Apparently it used Eikthyrnir's magic, and a bit of dark magic as well...it mostly summoned low tier dark magic spells, but the Eikthyrnir spell stole others souls to grant the caster more powerful Undead magic, however it made them a slave to a vengeful spirit, and when they died...a curse would damn their soul to hell.
Moon deadpanned as he saw the mask's ability. It was the dumbest item to have, why would someone use this? He shook his head, damn cultists...nothing but a bunch of fools. He kept the mask, he would either purify it, or destroy it...whichever came first. Likewise, he went throughout the forest, and it's dead trees the place looking lifeless. Furthermore, he heard the howls of the Shadow wolves...a pack of wolves that were all the color of shadows. Of course despite them usually attacking humans, Moon knew they wouldn't harm him, he was Hati's son after all. Traversing through the dead forest, as the sunrise began to happen. He soon left the forest, coming across a town. It was abandoned...no one had been here for years. The buildings were rotting, the wood, clay, and stone wearing off, and hanging.
Moon explored every building, finding nothing much. Their had been many homes, a pathway for guests, and furthermore it also had a bar. He looked around, trying to scrounge what supplies he could. He found a map, and more importantly, a portable home. It led him to the nearest area, the town of Cogworks. He had managed to find some spare food that the cultists left behind. A few had the decency to pack normal meat food, as for the others. They all had rotten human limbs packed in their sacks with bugs crawling all over them. Seriously...what were these guys on? Moon also noticed that Father Bonehead's bag had letters, and notes...which meant the cultists weren't just a random cult drawn up from their ass. They were big...he would have to deal with them sooner, or later.
After exploring more of the town, He soon found something that could help him on his journey. A dark sand robe, he sniffed it, then turned away in disgust. He soon found a bunch of water, and was thankfully able to wash it off as well as he could. It wasn't as clean as Moon wanted...but it was all he had. He put the robe on, his Moon shaped necklace hanging from his neck since the beginning. He followed the map, seeing a Desert Valley straight ahead, probably a vast one. Traversing the desert wasn't a good idea, the monsters in the desert were slightly harsher than the ones in the normal Grasslands...always merciless, and never forgiving...not to mention the massive heat, and the cold nights. He had managed to grab, and rinsed out a canteen, filling it with water.
Moon knew he would have to ration his water, and meat. If he ran low, he would have to hunt the dangerous predators of Desert Valley...which wasn't ideal...especially if he didn't have Leatherback, and Hammerhead. He saw a welcome town sign nearby, worn, and destroyed hanging off the edges of its poles. It read. "Welcome to No Man's Land: Population...who the f*** cares" Moon started to see why this town became abandoned, not much care went into it, and there was a dying forest behind it, and an almost endless desert in front...not exactly a tourist attraction. Moon sighed, as he threw on the black hood of his coat, and began to walk into Desert Valley. He had a revenge to enact, a cultist to destroy, his missing weapons to find, and more importantly, a mate to call his. However...currently, their was only one thing he had to do, and on his mind...and that...was to survive.
...Book 1: Moon...
......Chapter 2: Desert Valley ......
The wind and the sand blowing, mixed with each other, as Moon walked across the harsh desert. He could feel the sand beneath his feet, his toe claws treading through every inch. He held the black hood over his head, preventing him from getting any sand in his eyes. The place itself seemed vast, and empty without anything, or anyone present. He could see the yellowish-orange scorpions with their stinger tails crawl through the sand. Moon checked out the map he had taken with him. He knew that Cogworks was only a few days trip through the desert, but something he spotted, and remembered before he was sealed away by Nidhoggr clicked into his mind, and it required his investigation. He was lucky he didnt encounter someone he was thinking of when he had awakened, and that did require investigation.
He made sure to let his instincts be sharp, there were deadly Predators, other than himself in the Desert Valley...caution was key. Moon followed the map, before stopping at the sidetracked place he looked at. He looked up at the huge Egyptian pyramid, seeing the huge gates, and architecture that was part of the monument. Moon's instincts we're sharp...even with his beast light sense, he could not sense the dread from the God who lived here...another thing he noticed...the Jackals...that disguised themselves as statues...they were missing. Odd, he knew he had to go in further, but he also didn't want to venture in too deep, lest he fell for the traps that awaited the pyramids master.
Slowly, but surely he walked past the first gate, going along the paths, passing Sphinx statues, and 2 other empty buildings that should have housed specters, or the mummy soldiers...yet there was nothing. Curious, Moon went further, going through another pair of giant gates, knowing what lied beyond. He soon went into the pyramid, crouching into the small crawlspace to get into the area. The place was dark, and filled with ruined Egyptian statues, and stone architecture all over the place, all of them having Egyptian hieroglyphics. He looked around, finding the area to the next room which led deeper into the pyramid. He knew what that room was, his hand instinctively went to his Crescent Sword, and he entered slowly, preparing to encounter the Specter Mummy trap that was placed here.
Nothing happened, and that raised concerns, and questions. He should have been attacked...yet he wasn't. Moon relaxed, breathing a sigh of relief, as he continued throughout the pyramid, coming across a room of more smashed architecture, and a sarcophagus. Mini bracelets, and more statues made of the piercing light of Anung Ra, or from the Vengeance of Horus, or the Belt of Orion. He soon spotted another room, and he already knew another problem. The guard dogs that were supposed to be here...they were missing, why? Moon had more questions than answers, why hadn't he been attacked, in fact...he should have been attacked, or blocked at the front gate...he shouldn't have gotten this far, by walking in.
Moon soon found the second crawl space, and journeyed through, having to get on his elbows, and knees going through both. He was glad to fit in these crawlspaces...otherwise, he wouldn't get into the Pyramids. Moon soon exited the crawlspace, and came across the wooden door. He knew at once that this was his final moment to turn back, he could have forgotten about this place, have this place go to hell, leave, and never return. Yet...he needed to know why he hadn't been attacked. Moon pushed opened the door, knowing full well it should have been locked. The door opened, the wood creaking, and echoing throughout the hallway. He continued walking, going past the Egyptian statues along the wall...then stopped. It had all clicked into place. He was standing, at what should have been the throne room, and that shouldn't have been easy to get too.
Not only had the throne been nothing more than an empty dead end, but also the light was gone, and so was the Final Boss meant to defeat him. Moon sighed, Anubis was gone. He was glad, when it came to God of Death, Anubis, and Moon never got along, in fact he had defeated him before going after Nidhoggr in that dead forest, where he was eventually sealed. Having nothing more to do, Moon went back the way he came, passing through the pyramid without harm, let alone a scare. He continued throughout the desert, hunting whatever he could. His stew wasn't even considered a good thing to eat...the only thing it was mixed in with was cacti without spikes, and cacti juice, and hundreds of dead scorpions. Not exactly nourishing, but it would be enough to survive.
He had walked through the desert throughout most of the day. Moon looked at the campfire, watching it crackle, letting his stew cook. He reflected back to happier memories with his Mother, and Father before he passed on, he was going to live in the world...and...someday he would find his other half...his true soulmate...Sun He didn't know where she was, but he knew she wasn't sealed away. Moon wondered what her life had been like, or if she was even born when he was around. He remembered his teenage self, fighting, and swinging around the small little flute knife he was given, and what his mentor had taught him.
"Now listen Moon, someday you're going to have a life ahead of you, and there will be times when you have to survive, if you're with friends or a party...make sure you enjoy you're time with them. And if you're alone...make sure it isn't for too long" His master's words echoed through his mind, and memories. Moon was silent for a while, as he soon gathered his stew, and ate in silence. Even though the night gave him energy, going out in Desert Valley at night wasn't a good idea. He soon doused the fire, and laid his head near the rock, letting his senses take over in case any wild animal tried to attack him while he slept. The next day soon came, and he departed at dawn, Moon continent his journey, following the map to Cogworks, he had made sure to drink his water, while also rationing it. He continued walking across the desert, leaving no time to stop.
He looked around, seeing plenty of Shadow wolves, like last time in the day. None were foolish enough to attack him, after all...he was the Son of Hati...she always tamed Shadow Wolves, treated them like her young...at least...before Nidhoggr ruined everything. However, it wasn't just Shadow Wolves that plagued the Desert Valley, and there were far worse predators than them. He felt his instincts go off, and moved out of the way, he heard the rumble beneath the sand, three boney white spikes stuck out of the sand, moving through it like a shark, or a crocodile in the water, it moved away before fully disappearing in the sand. Moon had to be careful...he couldn't show any sign of fear.
Moon dodged again, the beast having sank in the sand, tunneling beneath him, as he dodged out of the way, the giant worm, bursting out of the sand. Seeing its dark indigo skin the four cross mandibles on its mouth, showing a circle mouth with miniature teeth inside. The boney spikes on its back, as it roared. Moon cursed, as he unsheathed his Crescent Sword. Of all the Predators he would come across...it had to be the Sandworm. He hadn't fully masked his fear, he had only shown a small amount...but it was enough, enough to get one interested. He had to remain calm as to not attract a whole pack, he hoped to lose the Sandworms interest, but...if he killed it, it would make for a decent meal...Sandworm meat was edible when cooked, and he could sell the teeth for a huge amount of coins.
Of course killing the Sandworm was not easy. Smelled feared, massive, and towering...acidic saliva, and their skin was insanely durable it took a lot of powerful magic to penetrate their armor. Moon considered his options, and he growled. He knew his Crescent Sword wouldn't be enough, he only had one choice, he hoped after not using Silverstreak last night, that he had enough energy to do this. Moon jumped back, high in the air, spreading his arms Silverstreak appearing, and attaching to him, as if they were one being. With Silverstreak equipped, he prepared for battle. The Sandworm's throat seemed to expand its body coiled, like a snake, as it spewed acidic saliva. Using super speed, from Silverstreak he managed to dodge many blasts from the Sandworm's mouth.
The Sandworm roared, as it wiggled side to side, before burrowing beneath the ground. Moon knew he couldn't run...if he ran he would show his fear, and that would attract more of the Sandworms. He kept his calm, as he prepared his timing. A grin, came across Moon's face...this...was going to be fun. Zenaku timed it perfectly, jumping back with super speed as the sand beneath him gave way, the four cross shaped, giant mandibles of the Sandworm popping up, expanding, and snarling like a bear trap in slow motion. Soon the Sandworm soon popped up, as Moon stopped, putting all the energy into building up his sped, before launching at an event faster speed blitz. He usually shouldn't punch in this armor...but he had too, his options were limited. He rammed his fist hard into the worm's abdomen, and he was knocked back as a result.
Moon could feel his fist ringing, but he could also feel Silverstreak crying out in pain...he couldn't do that, lest he would cause permanent damage to the armor. Worse, the Sandworm had been hurt, but not enough for the punch to penetrate the tank armored shell. He should have expected that...Sandworm skin was the toughest out of all the monsters...if he had Leatherback, and Hammerhead…this would be easy. The Sandworm shook off the blow, as it tunneled again before launching out of the sand, towering high, and attempting to devour Moon whole with its massive jaws. He dodged it with excellence, but the worm came back around. Zenaku was angry...he needed to kill this thing, but he was lacking weapons wise...and killing a moving target, that could burrow without a proper ranged weapon was hopeless.
It seemed to be an endless back, and forth between the worm, and Moon, doing his best to dodge its burrowing lunges. Finally, the wormed, popped out of the ground, firing a few more shots of acidic saliva. Moon quickly charged up the Preda-Laser...the armors eyes beginning to glow a shimmering white that seemed to drill with hate, the worm prepared to burrow...quickly...QUICKLY!!! Soon it had reached full charge. "PREDA-LASER...FIRE!!!!" Moon roared, as the twin beams discharged, slamming straight into the creatures mid-torso. The massive beast was blasted backwards through the desert, coming completely out of the sand. When half of the worm was beneath ground...its was tall, but at it's true height it was much larger than it appeared. In length, this one was 25 feet tall when half of it was below ground, when all of it was out of the sand, it was 50 feet.
The Preda-Laser really tore though the creature, it had penetrated much of the armor, and had made blood spew from several spots. The creature couldn't burrow back into the sand, it was too wounded. It sat there, writhing, and shrieking. Part of Moon felt bad, the Sandworm meant no harm...it was just an animal, trying to hunt, trying to survive through instinct, but...he also knew he had to survive. Hearing the worm shriek, Moon walked up, beginning to sing to himself softly aloud soon it whimpered softly. He soon used small bits of the Preda-Laser to give it a more peaceful death. It was a way to honor his mother...he always did this, to show respect to ones that worms. Some monsters earned respect...others deserved more ruthless deaths...it all depended, on their actions. The Sandworm soon vanished, in scattering glowing blue particles. Zenaku gathered what was in front of him.
The Sandworm had provided with him a lot of meat, and it had also given him some Sandworm teeth. He could use these to sell them in many items shops, they were worth a lot of money...as for the Sandworm meat...they would be a much better food source...enough for him to survive. Moon pulled his hood over his head, he made sure to double-check his bearings with the map, he could get back on track. Zenaku continued his journey through Desert Valley, he had run diagnostics on Silverstreak after taking off the armor. DAMMIT!!! Silverstreak had been injured from his punch, the armor was going to be useless for a while, he needed to find a talented magical forger...it would take sometime for him to find one, since that talent was rare. If he couldn't find a magical forger, he would have to get the parts himself.
Night soon came, Moon sat in front of the fire, roasting the Sandworm steak meat, and soon devoured it. He gave one thing credit, even though it wasn't seasoned...Sandworm steak still tasted delicious...it was better than Scorpions, and sticks...that much was for certain. Zenaku's thoughts were adrift, many times he looked up at the sky. He wondered what his Sun would be like, feeling, and inhaling her scent, spending time with her, fighting with her. His father had told him, that no matter what happened, and what choices he made, his Sun was going to be everything he needed. Moon soon went back to eating, the thought of seeing his Sun fresh on his mind...whoever she was. Soon morning, and night of the Desert Valley passed again. He had gotten a good night's sleep last night, and also his armor had charged its magic.
Moon traveled throughout the desert, pushing through the immense heat of the Desert Valley, the hot sun, bearing down in him. He had rationed his water, and he drank as much as he could. Soon came another night of sitting in front of fire, cooking all the Sandworm meat, and eating it...trying to ration some of it. After another night's of sleep, and more thinking about his Sun, he soon traveled a few more miles, before seeing it. The mechanical construction, and steam powering city, the cogs working in unison, and the guards wearing oxygen masks, the smell of diesel full in the air. It was the city, Cogworks. Moon had finally arrived.
