Become Mafia'S Wife

Episode 1

"Saragas Evander, do you take Raviena Devitria to be your wife, to love and cherish her in good times and in bad, until the end of your life?"

Without hesitation, Ragas gazed deeply at Viena and answered in a firm voice, "I do."

The priest then turned to Viena. "Raviena Devitria, do you take Ragas to be your husband, to love and support him in good times and in bad, until the end of your life?"

Viena smiled, her eyes sparkling with emotion. "I do."

The priest nodded. "By this, you are now officially husband and wife. The groom may now kiss the bride."

Ragas smiled broadly before pulling Viena into his embrace. Their lips met in a warm, gentle kiss, full of promises and happiness. Loud applause echoed, accompanied by cheers from the guests who witnessed their union being formalized.

After a moment, Ragas looked at Viena with eyes shining with gratitude.

"I love you, Viena. So much."

Viena smiled, caressing her husband's face gently.

"I love you too. Always."

And under the glittering lights and happiness, their story began—not as an end, but as the beginning of a new life that they would live together.

...~The End~...

"AAA.. Finally finished!!!"

A girl lying in her dorm room stared fondly at a novel in her lap. The ending she got was just as she had hoped.

"Finally, after so long, you two got married!" she said happily.

Her name is Dena, a final semester student majoring in electrical engineering who is busy completing her thesis. But since this afternoon, the girl has been spending her time reading a novel she just bought yesterday until midnight.

"Too bad for Ghariel, so handsome but he became a corpse," Dena muttered as she put the novel on her bedside table.

Dena is a romance novel maniac, the novel she just read is titled 'Mafia's Love'. Where Ragas, the famous mafia boss, falls in love with a naive and innocent girl named Viena. There are many obstacles that they both face until Ragas finally manages to captivate Viena.

One of them is fighting Ghariel, Ragas' rival in work and organization. Ghariel also likes Viena, it is told that Ghariel is truly an equal opponent for Ragas, although in the end the main character is undefeated.

Ghariel ends up dying at the hands of Ragas, and his mafia organization is taken over by Ragas, making Ragas' character even more prominent.

Judging from the novel's illustrations, Dena thinks Ghariel and Ragas are equally handsome. Both of their backgrounds are also strong. Dena feels quite sorry for Ghariel who is told to have a broken family. His mother died at the hands of his own father, then his father went crazy and continued to torture Ghariel, until Ghariel finished the man off with his own hands.

Then in matters of romance, Ghariel is also unlucky. Viena chooses Ragas over him, because Ghariel's way of loving is wrong. Well, Dena thinks that's natural considering the life Ghariel has lived so far.

"I think I have to stop by Gramedia again tomorrow," said Dena glancing at the novel reviews she will buy on her cellphone.

Until the girl's gaze shifted to the laptop that was still open on her study desk, Dena winced softly, "Okay, no novels for the next few days. My dear thesis is waiting," she said tiredly.

Dena approached her laptop, to work on her thesis? Oh, of course not. Just to turn off the laptop that had been open alone for several hours. After that, the girl returned to her beloved bed and pulled up the blanket.

"Hopefully tomorrow I will get an idea to work on my thesis," she muttered before closing her eyes and drifting off to dreamland.

Without knowing what surprises awaited her the next morning.

"Finally, Madam is conscious!!"

"Doctor, will my Madam be alright?"

Dena blinked her eyes which still felt heavy. Dimly she could hear enthusiastic voices near her.

When her eyes were fully open, Dena frowned in confusion looking at her room's white ceiling with brown ornaments. The girl still clearly remembered that the ceiling of her cramped dorm room was not this good.

Turning to the right, she became even more confused when she realized that she was not in her room now. The room she was in was quite large, her mother's rich new husband could not possibly be so rich as to have a room this big.

Looking to the other side, there were two women looking at her curiously. One of them was wearing a white coat that Dena believed was a doctor.

"What are you feeling right now, Madam?" Asked the woman in the doctor's coat kindly.

"Ma-Madam?" Dena asked in surprise.

The two women looked at each other briefly, "Does your head still feel sore?" The doctor asked again.

Reflexively, Dena touched her head which seemed to be bandaged, quite sore so she nodded.

"Madam just fell from the second floor stairs, do you remember?" The woman next to the doctor asked carefully.

Before answering, Dena focused on looking at the faces of the two women alternately. Really foreign, very foreign in fact.

And this place, this condition, Dena was one hundred percent sure that her last activity last night was reading a novel, it was impossible for her to suddenly fall from the stairs, moreover her dorm room was on the first floor.

Could it be.. The worst possibility crossed her mind. Although beyond common sense, but Dena has not once or twice read novels about transmigration or soul transfer.

"Get me a mirror." Dena asked, glancing at the woman whose appearance, if in novels, is described as a maid, the woman looked surprised but immediately nodded. Taking a mirror on the dressing table and immediately giving it to Dena.

"Here, Madam."

Seeing her face in the mirror, Dena could not hide her surprise. Her lips parted, observing the portrait of someone in this mirror.

"Are you alright?" Asked the doctor worriedly seeing that unpleasant expression.

Dena looked at the Doctor, before she could speak her head suddenly rang painfully. It hurt, it hurt a lot. The girl almost lost consciousness.

Until she realized, a picture of someone's life was forcing its way into her memory.

Episode 2

..."Can you hear me?"

After a while, the pain in Dena's head began to subside. She looked at the two women who were looking at her worriedly, "Yes, my head just hurts," she replied.

"That's normal because the wound you got is quite large," the doctor explained.

"For the next few days the pain will continue to appear. I have prescribed antibiotics along with painkillers, Madam can redeem them at the pharmacy later," continued the doctor.

Dena just nodded, she watched the female doctor write something and give it to her maid.

"If there are any complaints, you can contact me again immediately. Now I'll take my leave, Mrs. Araya." After that the doctor left.

Araya, Araya Rosetta. Is the name of the body that Dena now occupies. From the memories that entered Dena's mind, Araya slipped while going down the stairs of her house. That's why she is in this condition.

And where is the real Araya? Dena doesn't know. All the woman's memories from birth to the present fill Dena's mind, it even feels like she experienced it herself.

Dena glanced at the middle-aged woman in front of her, from Araya's memory this woman's name was Bi Laksmi, the maid who had served Araya since she entered this house.

"Did Aunt call the doctor earlier?" Dena asked.

Bi Laksmi nodded, "That's right, Madam. Her name is Doctor Sarah, she is the Smith family's personal doctor."

Wow, personal doctor? From there Dena could guess how rich the Smith family was.

"It's almost lunchtime, does Madam want me to cook something?" Bi Laksmi asked with a polite gesture.

"Yes, anything," Dena replied.

Bi Laksmi, who was used to getting such indifferent answers from the Madam, nodded in understanding, after which she excused herself from Araya's room.

After making sure Bi Laksmi had left and the door was tightly closed, Dena slowly got up from her lying position. Before getting off the bed, Dena paid attention to the queensize mattress she was occupying, in her whole life this was probably the most comfortable mattress she had ever occupied.

Dena looked around the room, it was really spacious. First, she went to the dressing table in this room, the rows of make up on display never stopped amazing her.

"Omg, Dior lipstick shade 03?" Dena looked in surprise at her dream lipstick, there were even various shades.

"YSL Cushion? Crazy, there will also be a time when I try things like this," Dena opened the dressing table drawer, the more complete contents never stopped amazing her. Previously Dena was not a poor person, her life was quite sufficient, but of course not enough to buy these luxury goods.

"What's in the closet like? Then the one next to it too?" There are two large, luxurious wardrobes, Dena is sure the contents will surprise her even more.

However, Dena's enthusiasm stopped when she looked at the dressing mirror in front of her. Actually, Dena wasn't surprised because this face was different, but because Araya's face was so similar to her real face. It's just a glow up and more mature version.

Dena paid attention in detail, there were no eye bags because she had read novels all night. There are no acne scars on her forehead. This face is really smooth, but Dena is sure this is still her face.

Dena doesn't know for sure but Araya's face is like her face but a more mature version. Maybe it's because of this make up? Or the long wavy hairstyle that Dena never tried before? So far Dena has often grown her hair only to shoulder length.

"Araya Rosetta?" Dena muttered. It's impossible for them to be twins, Dena clearly knows she is an only child, while her mother and father together with their respective partners do not have children.

Moreover, there is a memory that entered her mind, about Araya's life. So, Dena can conclude that she experienced a soul transfer, it's a bit funny if she experiences it directly like this.

Araya is a 27 year old woman, quite contrasting with Dena who was previously 22 years old. Araya is indeed a beautiful and rich woman, but her life is not happy. Dena, who has witnessed how Araya's life is, makes her feel as if she can feel the woman's feelings.

And the big problem, Araya is married!

Even has children!

"Tch, this head is still sore again," Dena clicked her tongue as she began to remember Araya's life.

"Araya was forced to marry her husband. His name is Gevan, eh, why does the name sound familiar? Like I've heard it before," Dena muttered while folding her arms across her chest.

"And because of that she hates her son who looks like Gevan. So Araya often vents her anger on her son, tsk tsk."

"Her son's name.." Dena tried to remember, "Ghariel."

Ghariel.

Ghariel Rayvandra Smith.

"WHAT?? Ghariel that one?!" Dena covered her mouth in surprise.

Ghariel Rayvandra Smith, the name of the antagonist in the Mafia's Love novel she read before going to bed. Which means, that's her son.

Instantly Dena forgot all the make up from famous brands in front of her. Araya is said to be killed by Ghariel's father, who is none other than her own husband, a big mafia boss in this country.

"So, I transmigrate like this just to die?" Dena muttered in disbelief.

Again Dena looked in the mirror. Now she is Araya Rosetta. She is the one who will determine the fate of this body in the future.

Episode 3

...****************...

(From now on we call Dena = Araya)

One day has passed since Dena aka Araya woke up in this body. Initially, Araya thought that after going through a dreamlike state as happened before she was here, she would return to her world upon waking up. But alas, it was not as expected.

This morning, Araya went out of her room for the first time, after enjoying the breakfast that Bi Laksmi brought.

Araya's room is on the second floor, which is known as her territory. Meanwhile, her son, the antagonist Ghariel, is on the first floor, and her husband is on the third floor. The luxurious mansion she occupies has three floors, with the top fourth floor being the rooftop.

And the rooftop is Araya's destination right now. She took the elevator to reach the top floor.

Upon arriving there, Araya could see that this large place was kept clean. It seems suitable to be used as a family gathering place for wealthy people.

Her footsteps led Araya to the edge of the rooftop, which was bounded by an iron fence as high as her chest.

Her hands clenched tightly, "Actually, I don't want to try this," she muttered.

Yes, Araya is determined to commit suicide. Foolish indeed, but she doesn't want to die at the hands of her husband, in whatever cruel way. Araya wants to try her luck, if she dies now, who knows if she will return to her original body, right?

Slowly her hand held the iron barrier, one of her feet gradually rising.

As her other foot was about to rise, Araya felt someone's hand pull her waist back.

"Akh..." She almost lost her balance if there weren't a pair of hands holding her body.

"Stupid!"

After the grip on her waist was released, Araya turned to see the person who had just cursed her.

Damn. Really damn, the figure of her angel of death is standing in front of her now.

A man with a height of around 185cm, with broad shoulders and a proportional body, gives a strong impression without looking excessive. His face is sharp with firm jaw lines, his nose is straight, and his deep eyes radiate an unpredictable look.

Araya seemed to see Ghariel's description in the novel directly.

"Aren't you tired of always attempting suicide, huh?"

Araya ignored the flat question. Wait, did she mishear? Always?

Does that mean the real Araya also often attempts suicide? But she didn't find that memory at all.

"Go back to your room." Gevan said after a while Araya just stared straight at him.

Araya averted her gaze, then silently left the rooftop area. Without turning to look at Gevan who kept watching her until she disappeared from his view.

***

"So scary, crazy." Araya buried her face in the pillow.

Remembering her meeting with Gevan earlier, Araya could feel this body's reaction which immediately froze seeing her own husband. Hey, that man is a cruel mafia, who wouldn't be afraid.

Is it clear, Araya is also afraid of her husband? From her memory, because Araya hated Gevan so much, the woman always shouted to drive Gevan away every time he entered her sight.

Knock knock knock...

"Madam, it's me, Bi Laksmi."

The voice from behind the door made Araya change her position to sitting on the edge of her bed.

"Come in."

The door opened, revealing Bi Laksmi with a tray of medicine in her hand.

"It's time for Madam to change the bandages, does Madam want to take a bath first?"

Araya shook her head, "No, just do it directly." After all, she's basically already beautiful, no need to take a bath.

Bi Laksmi gently opened the bandage surrounding Araya's head, then continued to clean the wound.

"Ssh..." Araya hissed when the alcohol came into contact with her wound.

"I'm sorry Madam, I will be more careful." Bi Laksmi replied, looking a little panicked?

After that, a new bandage was put on, Bi Laksmi had been taught by Doctor Sarah how to change the bandages yesterday. Fortunately, Araya's wound was not too big, it's just that it still bleeds a little.

"It's finished, Madam."

Araya touched her new bandage, "Thank you, aunt."

Bi Laksi was stunned for a moment. It's rare for her arrogant Madam to say thank you, she thought.

But she still smiled awkwardly in response.

Araya bit her lower lip, there are many things she wants to ask. And it seems that asking Bi Laksmi who has served her for seven years here is a good choice.

"Bi Laksmi, have I ever tried to commit suicide before?" Araya asked directly.

Her maid looked startled by Araya's sudden question.

"Just answer, Bi. Or maybe, what do you think during my stay in this house?" Araya asked again, "Actually, I'm a little forgetful about some things." She lied.

Bi Laksmi put the medicines she brought on the tray, "Before that, I'm sorry if I'm being presumptuous Madam."

Araya nodded in response, "Actually, the wound Madam got now is not because of a fall, but Madam who really intended to commit suicide." Bi Laksmi revealed carefully.

"What?" Araya reflexively said because she was surprised.

She clearly remembered in Araya's memory that she slipped, not because she intended to commit suicide.

Bi Laksmi, who thought her master was angry, immediately bowed in fear, "Sorry Madam, but that is my presumption and the workers in this mansion. But I'm sure, Sir also agrees." She explained.

Araya could see that her maid was a little hesitant to bring up the word 'Sir' because Araya was very sensitive about her husband.

Araya sighed, "Besides that, has it ever happened before?"

Bi Laksmi nodded slowly, "Madam once threw herself into the back swimming pool. That's why Sir has now installed CCTV in the pool area."

Araya nodded in understanding. She tried to dig up memories about that, and it was a bit vague. Because it happened a few years ago.

Actually, it's no wonder why the people in this mansion thought she would commit suicide. Araya married Gevan forcibly.

The more severe fact is, the man raped Araya until she was pregnant with their child, so that Araya would marry him.

The man even killed Araya's father because he didn't approve of their marriage.

You can imagine how Araya's mentality is, right? Araya even had to be accompanied by a psychologist for a year to restore her sanity.

Maybe it's not perfect, in fact every time she meets Gevan she always screams like crazy, throwing whatever things she sees.

Even torturing her own child, Araya's mentality is that disturbed.

She became very sympathetic to Ghariel, such a small child facing this gloomy big house, his mother and father are not sane.

But she is curious, what is Gevan's reason for marrying Araya? Is he that obsessed? Because if they loved each other, it's impossible for Araya to reject him so much.

Araya's memories do fill her mind, but it will be perfect when distracted by meeting people who are related to her.

Alright, because Araya is basically afraid to die. She will accept the flow of this novel, by avoiding her death. And start solving the mysterious problems of Araya's life.

And give a little happiness to the handsome antagonist who is still young.

Araya looked at Bi Laksmi, "Where is my son?"
