The world was divided by power, hierarchy, and bloodlines. Two great kingdoms, the Moonstone Empire and the Crimson Sun Kingdom, stood as formidable forces, separated by centuries of enmity. These lands, ruled by Alphas, Omegas, and Betas, followed the ancient traditions of dominance and submission, where royal blood dictated fate.
The Moonstone Empire, vast and rich with silver rivers and mountains kissed by the moon, was ruled by King Namjoon and his beloved Omega mate, Queen Seokjin. Their youngest son, Jeon Jungkook, had recently ascended to the throne after proving himself a ruthless yet just ruler. A strong Alpha, he was unmatched in battle, his mere presence commanding the respect of even the most seasoned warriors. He had two elder brothers—Min Yoongi, the cunning war strategist, and Jung Hoseok, a rare royal Omega whose kindness and warmth made him adored by all.
On the other side of the great divide lay the Crimson Sun Kingdom, a land of golden deserts and ruby fields, ruled by King Seungcheol (S.Coups) and Queen Jeonghan. They had three sons, each blessed with extraordinary beauty and power. Their eldest, Kim Kai, was an Alpha destined to lead armies, while their middle child, Kim Jimin, was an Omega, graceful yet fiercely independent. The youngest, Kim Taehyung, was an Omega of unparalleled beauty, his golden eyes holding the fire of a thousand suns.
The two kingdoms were bound by hatred, their ancestors having fought countless wars for supremacy. Peace was an illusion, and betrayal was always at the horizon.
Yet fate had its own plans. A prophecy, hidden within the sacred scrolls of the ancient seers, whispered of a bond that could either destroy or unite the warring lands. And at the heart of it stood Jeon Jungkook and Kim Taehyung—an Alpha king and an Omega prince, bound by destiny, yet separated by blood and war.

The sun had barely begun its descent when the grand halls of the Moonstone Empire’s palace bustled with energy. Servants hurried through the corridors, guards stood alert at every entrance, and the rich scent of freshly cooked meals wafted from the royal kitchen. In the heart of the palace, King Namjoon sat at the head of the banquet table, his sharp eyes scanning over the feast before him.
Queen Seokjin, elegantly dressed in his royal robes, frowned at his mate.
Seokjin [Jk's Mom]
Namjoon, do you even know how to hold a fork properly? You’re a king, not a barbarian.
Namjoon, who had just attempted to stab a piece of roasted meat with the wrong end of his utensil, gave an embarrassed chuckle.
Namjoon [Jk's Dad]
You know, it’s the meat’s fault. It keeps moving.
Jin rolled his eyes dramatically, setting his own fork down.
Seokjin [Jk's Mom]
I swear, if your brain was a palace, half the rooms would be empty
Yoongi, who sat beside them, stifled a laugh while Hoseok giggled openly. Jungkook, however, remained quiet, his sharp eyes focused on the map that lay unfolded before him.

Jungkook, do you ever stop strategizing?
Yoongi asked, raising an eyebrow.
Jungkook finally looked up, a serious expression on his face.

The Crimson Sun Kingdom has been moving its forces. If they march any further, they’ll be at our borders within a week. We need to be ready.
Jin sighed, rubbing his temples.
Seokjin [Jk's Mom]
Why must everything be war and strategy with you? Can’t we have a peaceful dinner for once?
Namjoon, seizing the opportunity, smirked.

That’s rich coming from you. The last time we had a ‘peaceful’ dinner, you threw a spoon at my head because I said your dessert looked ‘average.’
Seokjin [Jk's Mom]

Before the argument could escalate, a messenger burst into the hall, breathless and visibly distressed.

Jungkook stood immediately, his Alpha instincts kicking in.

The messenger bowed deeply.

Hoseok giggled, while Jungkook exhaled, already preparing himself for whatever fate had in store.

The Moonstone Palace was alive with tension as the royal family and their advisors gathered in the grand hall. The arrival of the Crimson Sun Kingdom’s envoy was imminent, and no one knew what to expect. Jungkook stood at the center, clad in his regal black and gold attire, exuding dominance. Beside him, Namjoon and Yoongi observed silently, while Jin fussed over the arrangement of the royal welcome table.

Are we sure we shouldn’t serve something grander?
Jin muttered, eyeing the banquet that had been prepared.
Seokjin [Jk's Mom]
First impressions matter.
Namjoon [Jk's Dad]
Jin, we are welcoming an envoy, not hosting a festival.
Seokjin [Jk's Mom]
You say that now, but what if they judge us based on our hospitality? A good meal can prevent war, you know.
Suga [ml's brother]
If only war could be solved with dessert.
Just as Jin opened his mouth to retort, the doors of the palace creaked open, and a line of Crimson Sun warriors entered, their crimson and gold armor gleaming in the afternoon light. Behind them, dressed in elegant yet understated royal attire, was Prince Kim Taehyung.
The moment Taehyung stepped forward, the room seemed to still. His golden eyes, deep and unreadable, scanned the hall, taking in the imposing figures before him. His posture was regal, but his expression was neutral, neither hostile nor overly warm.
Jungkook’s breath hitched for a mere second—a reaction so subtle no one else caught it. He had heard tales of Taehyung’s beauty, but none had done him justice.
The prince approached, flanked by his guards, and bowed with practiced grace.

he greeted, his voice smooth yet firm.
taehyung [MC]
I bring word from my father, King Seungcheol, in hopes that peace may be considered between our kingdoms.
Jungkook stepped forward, his own presence just as commanding.

Prince Taehyung. Your arrival is unexpected, but welcome nonetheless. Shall we discuss this ‘peace’ your father speaks of?
taehyung [MC]
That is why I am here.
Yoongi leaned slightly toward Jungkook and whispered

I don’t trust this. We should be careful.
Jungkook gave a slight nod of agreement before turning back to Taehyung.

As they moved toward the council chamber, Jin called after them

Jin, can you focus on something other than food for one second?
Seokjin [Jk's Mom]
Fine. But if this meeting goes south, don’t come crying to me when you realize diplomacy works better on a full stomach.
Hoseok giggled while Jungkook led Taehyung inside. As the doors shut behind them, the fate of two kingdoms rested on what would unfold in that room.
