hey guys☺️, this is my first chat story here. I might have used Egypt and Europe which are well known country and continent, but this story is completely fictional and you'll find that some of their real cultures and values won't be find in the story, I just find Egyptian ancient culture very interesting that I wanted to write a story with its setting.

27 years old
Charming, kind, brave, possessive and daring.
He's good at sword fighting and he's an artist at heart.
He's come to Egypt to form an alliance between the kingdom of Valtoria and Defretia by marrying the second Princess.
Khenzi AkA Khay
21 years old
Calm, loyal, diligent, secretly aggressive, intelligent and protective.
He's a servant in the castle. He works under the young princess but is later given to Prince Anselm.
Aside from normal chores, he guards the young princess Nefra.
He's good at sword fight and archery.
Princess Elenora of Valtoria
29 years old
Caring, serious, knowledgeable, mature
She's Prince Anselm's elder sister.
She's representing her parents .
she's loyal to her kingdom but loves her younger brother more.
Princess Nefertari of Defretia
25 years old
Simple, kind and adventurous
She's the princess that's soon to marry the prince of Valtoria.
She talks less and loves to read About different places that she dreams of visiting them.
She spends some of her time with the servants and Khenzi is her favourite
Gabriel the Prince's advisor
27 years old
Patient and calm
loves to read and give advice
He's the Prince's best friend

30 years old
Cold, serious and authoritative
She's the army commander and she treats servants harshly, especially when they have done something wrong.
Everyone is scared of her.

Chap 1
In the deep glorious kingdom of Egypt lies Defretia, a beautiful city adorned with wondrous beauty of nature and it is well known as the king's land since it is where the Pharaoh's castle is.
At this moment, inside the castle. A young princess named Nefra is clinging to a handsome servant boy who at the moment is trying to take care of the plants that surrounds the royal pool.
Princess Nefra
*tugging on Khenzi's sleeve* Khay! Did you hear? A European prince is arriving today! Everyone is so excited, what do you think he'll look like? I've never really seen a European prince before.
Khenzi m/c
*smiles softly* I suppose he'll look like just any other noble, Princess Nefra. They all bare the same finery, don't they?
Princess Nefra
*gasps* Imagine, a Prince from a far away land, bringing tales of adventure from beyond.
Satur
*laughing* You seem excited Princess.
Princess Nefra
*dancing around* Yes, I am. I heard they bring gifts. I would love to receive a gift from Europe.
Khenzi m/c
*shrugging* Don't get too excited, princess.

*pouting playfully* Why?
Khenzi m/c
Because gifts or not, they'll not change a thing in our daily lives.

You're such a bore, Khay! You'd rather spend the day polishing statues than embrace an approaching adventure.
Satur
And the Prince's coming will change our lives somehow. Since he's marrying the second Princess.
Princess Nefra
*nods* Yes, that's definitely a change.

Do you think father will have me marry a European prince too in the future?
Khenzi m/c
*pats her head* Stop thinking about that. it's not for a little one like you to think about.

*scoffs* I don't want to get married. I want to train hard and become like first Princess Nafara.

*shivers* Please don't mention the first princess's name. It gives me goosebumps.

*creeps up on Satur* Princess Nafara, Princess Nafara!!!

*laughing* Did you get in trouble again with the Princess?

I got whipped ten times this morning for forgetting to polish her sword.

*laughing hard* You know that is her pride. What is a commander without her sword?

A shimmering point of the tip of her sword sends all of Defretia's enemies to Osiris. You my dear friend, did not only wrong the first princess but the gods of this land as well.
Princess Nefra
*climbs a statue* Princess Nafara is the best sword fighter in all the kingdom. I want to be the best archer in all the kingdom.

*bows his head* And you shall, your Highness.
Princess Nefra gets off the statue and grabs Khenzi's arm.
Princess Nefra

The sun is up in the sky, the wagon that carried Prince Anselm and his sister stops in front of the castle. The prince is excited to see his surroundings that he waits for no one to let him out before doing so himself

*stepping out of the wagon* It's even more magnificent than I imagined. Sister look at how beautiful this place is. It's like a painting painted by a hand of a god.
Princess Elenora
*smiling* Behave, Anselm. We are not here for sightseeing, we are here to meet your future wife.
Prince Anselm M/l
*nodding but distracted* Relax, sister. The wife can wait, just take a look around you. I've never seen such beauty before.
Gabriel
*chuckles* You are acting like an elated child. You might as well as marry the surroundings instead.
Prince Anselm M/l
*looks at Gabriel with a bright smile* Actually, that wouldn't be a bad idea.
Gabriel
*facepalms himself* Is he a Prince or a fool?
Princess Elenora
*playfully* Watch how you speak, Gabriel, he is your future king.
Gabriel
*shakes his head* Valtoria is doomed.
From a distance the Egyptian royals approach. They are dressed so elegantly in vibrant fabrics and jewels that Prince Anselm stands and admires them.
Queen Tiye
*smiling* Welcome, Prince Anselm and Princess Elenora. We are so honored to have you here in our land.
Princess Elenora
*curtsies respectfully* Thank you, your majesty. It's a privilege to be in your presence.
Princess Nefertari
*bows, stealing a glance at Prince Anselm* Welcome, your majesties.
Before more could be said, an arrow wheezes past Prince Anselm from the west. Everyone freezes that's including the Prince himself. A servant runs towards them and drops himself at the feet of the Queen.
Khenzi m/c
*on his knees* My greatest apologies, great queen. I am not even worth a sacrifice to the gods, throw me in a den of lions and let them tear my body apart.
Princess Nefra
*comes running* mother, he is not at fault. I was the one who shot the arrow.
