A Feeling Yet No Meaning

encounter of attraction

["10-year-old girl sol is sitting alone in the room, huddled in fear.

In the next room, her parents were arguing about something. Little sol couldn't understand what they were fighting about.]

"sol, look at me."

sol lifted her head and looked at her mother.

"sol, why did you behave so badly with your aunt?"

This time, stella james kethryn spoke in a firmer voice, "Don't stay silent. Answer me!"

sol could no longer hold back...

"Mom, Aunt was saying bad things about you. Do you think I would just stand there and tolerate it?"

stella james kethryn's voice softened with a hint of pleading, "You know what could happen if your father finds out... Please, don't make things worse for me."

Feeling defeated, sol sighed, "Alright, fine..."

Today was sol’s first day at college… or rather, the first day at her second college. She had transferred here recently.

As soon as she stepped inside the campus, a wave of excitement rushed through her. Taking a deep breath, she walked into her classroom.

A little while later, the professor entered. He introduced sol to the class, but before she could settle in,

Someone, panting heavily, blurted out, "Sir, can I come to class?"

Curious, sol turned to look. Her gaze landed on a boy. He had a fair complexion, and he seemed to be about 5'11" tall. A gentle breeze played with his silky, medium-length hair, making strands fall onto his forehead.

He was wearing a tight white T-shirt and blue jeans.

Then, sol

noticed something else—his smile. She couldn't help but wonder, Can a boy’s smile really be this beautiful?

She had never felt such a strange, pleasant feeling before…

Lost in thought, she kept staring at him.

Noticing this, her seatmate, linda, nudged her and teased, "What are you staring at so intensely?"

Startled, sol quickly looked away.

Over time, linda and sol became close friends.

After class, the two of them were heading toward the field when Nabanita suddenly heard someone calling out to her.

"Hey, girl! Come here!"

She stopped in surprise.

"Are you talking to me?"

"Yes, I'm talking to you!"

Sol looked carefully—it was the same boy she couldn't take her eyes off at first sight.

She tried to observe him a little more closely, wondering what it was about him that caught her attention.

Just then, the boy spoke up, "Are you the new transfer student?"

Sol looked a bit surprised and nodded her head.

The boy spoke again, "What's your name?"

"Solver James Kathryn," she replied.

The boy immediately remarked, "That's such a long name!"

Sol, now more confident, said, "You can call me SJK. I'm new to this college... It was nice talking to you. As classmates, we can help each other when needed. By the way, what's your name?"

The boy gave a slight devilish smirk, and the group of boys around him burst into laughter.

Then, he spoke again, "I heard you're the class topper… Be careful."

Saying this, he and his friends walked away.

It felt like a storm had just passed through Sol’s mind. She couldn’t quite grasp what had just happened.

Just as she was about to ask Linda about it, Linda spoke up first.

"His name is zane Vendon—the class topper."

Seeing Sol’s confusion, Linda explained further, "Our class is divided into two teams—one for boys and one for girls. There's always a rivalry between them when it comes to academics. Now that you've joined the list of class toppers, you're officially on their radar… because right now, the girls' team is more powerful than the boys' team."

A look of concern appeared on Sol’s face.

She had imagined creating beautiful memories in her new college… but never thought she would walk straight into a battlefield.

She hadn’t expected to find herself in this kind of trouble.

[AT 8:00pm]

That night, Sol video-called her best friend and shared everything that had happened throughout the day.

Her best friend was none other than her cousin, Stormy James Kathryn.

Stormy had been with Sol since childhood—the only person who truly understood her.

Stormy tried to boost Sol’s confidence. "Why are you scared? You’ve always been number one. They won’t be able to beat you either!"

Sol sighed, feeling a bit down. "I didn’t come to this new college for competition… I just wanted to enjoy my new life."

Sol had transferred to this city alone, while her entire family still lived in their village. For the first time, she had broken free from her family's pressures and thought she could finally enjoy her new freedom.

Stormy understood her feelings immediately.

Then, out of nowhere, she came up with an idea.

Hearing it, Sol’s face lit up with excitement.
